Medic Melee Concept

I was tasked to design a prop for any univers I liked, sooo...

It's not particularly balanced but the description is mainly to give purpose and context to the weapon.

For those interested here are my research and the 3D model I made !

I quite like the design I really tried sticking to the style and the context.

i had a dream a couple months ago that Engineer had this "annoying trumpet" melee weapon, and it had a taunt that damaged some enemies in range (idk how many people at a time, and it was a short range)

i have no idea anymore what made it an annoying trumpet specifically but everyone around Engie was going "uuuuuuuuuuugh not again" whenever he taunted with it

and most importantly, it had a long-ass reload time because Engie ran out of breath after a few seconds (and i guess so you can't spam it)

i told one of my pals about it and he named it the Texas Tune

Pros:

Guaranteed critical hits on stunned players

+15% melee damage resistance while deployed

-75% airblast cost

+50% explosive damage resistance while deployed

Cons:

-90% afterburn damage

i wasn't going post this on here cuz i didn't think that it was actually post worthy. but today i said "Fuck it!" and decided that i posted my shitty little idea for a weapon cosmetic. a lil hello kitty keychain. The Black Box is my favorite weapon in the whole game, so i used it as a base. i imagine that it would be equitable for all launchers though. [the bow colour could change depending what team you're on] hell, there should be collectible key chains for weapons. (that arn't the Mann VS Machine ones of course) i just think that the idea is cute :)
