I'm going to give you guys a sneak peek at the first chapter of my AU.

Giants. These creatures were so terrifying that the mere mention of them would strike fear into the hearts of all who heard it and your village was no exception. The village was situated in the clearing of a large forest, a forest that was the home to at least two giants.

The people of the village knew that the giants needed to be appeased, lest they destroy the homes of the humans, so the villagers started to sacrifice their best animals to them. Eventually, the people feared that it wasn't enough to give up their animals, so there was a lottery to determine which human would be sacrificed to the giants with you were the unlucky one.

Your wrists and ankles were tied up so you couldn't try to escape and your mouth was gagged to prevent you from screaming for help. You were carried deep into the woods towards the altar where sacrifices were left by a few people, one of whom was your best friend. You thrashed in an attempt to break free from your bindings, but to no avail.

"I'm sorry," your friend whispered to you, "but this has to be done."

You would've cursed them if it wasn't for the gag covering your mouth, but all you could do was make muffled shouts. The villagers then placed you on the altar and quickly left afterwards, not wanting to be there when the giants showed up for their meal.

Scout: - Always makes a HUGE fuss. Teases, taunts, jokes, etc. Very clearly over-compensating. - Definitely prefers tiny prey, since he's not the largest guy out there. - Likes to poke fun even while his prey's inside. Maybe even flirt if he thought you were particularly cute. Soldier: - Will eat for any reason. Are you a close friend? Here, he'll put you somewhere safe! Got on his nerves? He'll show you what hippie commies like you deserve! - The bigger the prey, the better. He likes a challenge! - Will chat with you while you're in his belly. Well, less chatting, and moreso rambling about whatever's on his mind. (Mostly America.) Demo: - Unlike Soldier, he'd probably only eat you for one of two reasons. Either you asked, or he accidentally stuffed you into his mouth while he was drunk. - Size doesn't matter to him. He's a big guy! - Uses his prey as his personal therapist. You will hear his entire life story as he sobs to you and fills his stomach with alcohol. Heavy: - Definitely the most nonchalant about it. If you ask, he'll do it. You can stay as long as you want. He's big- so no one would notice. - Can eat anyone. Of any size. - Once you're in, he'll probably just go about your day. You're free to talk to him as much as you want- and he'll politely respond back. Engineer: - Sweet as honey about it. He'll gladly give you someplace warm to stay, or use it as a way to keep you close while he works. - Prefers prey somewhat in the middle. Likes someone big enough to fill him, but not too big that it's difficult to sit at his desk. - Will fill you in on all the happenings while you're in his stomach. Such as what he's working on, what the weather looks like, what you tasted like. . Sniper: - Definitely the most apprehensive, but not against it. If you're close and you ask, he'll do it, but he won't just chow down on you for the fun of it. - Prefers larger prey since he likes to feel really full. - Rubs his stomach gently to let you know you're fine. Won't let you stay in too long, though, since he'd hate to fall asleep and leave you stranded. Medic: - WAY too excited about it. Will gladly eat you at any time of the day, and without warning. - Any size is fine by him- but larger prey feel better for him when they squirm around. - Constantly asks you questions for the sake of "science". You will NOT be able to nap. Spy: - Will eat to either shut up someone annoying him, or as a way of showing affection without actually having to put in emotional labour. - While he'd eat anyone, he prefers smaller prey to avoid creasing his suit. - After eating someone, he prefers to sit back, sip a glass of wine and gently tap his stomach as they shift about inside with a small grin on his face.
