3D textile landscape across four shelves which tell the story of the different types of landscape found in Northumberland: farmland, hay meadow, woodland and upland moorland. I will upload more detailed images soon. The top three shelves are all made with hand embriodery and crochet for details like the stone walls, hedges and the river. The bottom shelf is designed for visitors to sit on, so the hand embriodered details are kept towards the back of the piece and more machine embriodery to the front. This has been a lovely project to work on for The Sill in Northumberland.
