Ft Worth Can Academy Westcreek students joined our "Live in the Moment" Happy Hour Zoom call last Friday! The goal was to: 1. Kick off students weekend and unleash their stress through inspiring thoughts amidst #COVID19 Lots of energy and interaction between students and ACE instructors! Alumni, Eveyln Cruz's surprised us and introduced her beautiful and very healthy one month old baby boy, Mr. Raudel! She graduated in January and is now working on her medical certifications. Honored for this special time hosting “My Sister’s Keeper” girls high school group from Fort Worth Can Academy to lunch and to see @harrietfilm then a discussion. • The group was formed a few months ago after students attended one of my @fitandfaithfulliving #ACE afterschool Life Classes and several young ladies expressed interest a ongoing weekly class to help navigate life. In our meet ups, we discuss ways create healthy relationships & lifestyle change for success!!. • They are amazing students who need just a little direction and inspiration.. . Last Friday, we were able to harvest one (1) pound of lettuce, greens, basil, mint and dill from the FWCA-Westcreek campus. Muhammad, a Fort Worth Can-Westcreek #ACE student was amazed to see the beautiful roots from the cilantro grown on the Tower Garden. Our master gardener, @spacecadet_p led this team of #ACE students in dismantling the tower garden in preparation for next planting class. It is important to properly drain and disassemble the water reservoir then clean all parts of the system in order to fully understand how aerophonics works!
