Warning: Self Doubt, Bullying (kinda)
Tetsuya Kuroko
👤 Literally no one on the team knows how you got together, they literally watched as you often communicated without words and read each other's faces. 👤 You would have had to have been one of the other miracles siblings, otherwise you would both have walked past each other everyday and never said a single word to each other. 👤 Kuroko is very much a trusting person so you didn’t have to be going to the same school to continue dating and honestly he never worried about what you were doing he trusted you wholeheartedly. 👤 The only thing that he worried about was that he wasn’t there to cheer you on when you found something that you liked, where you were too shy to sign up for clubs that you liked so he’d always go to the first meeting with you to see how you felt. 👤 While Kuroko is quiet he wasn’t necessarily shy so when you found it hard to voice what you wanted or needed, he would come out of nowhere to help you out. 👤 Given the fact that you spend a lot of time on the outside looking in, you always knew where Kuroko was, bonus if you like basketball because you were one of the only people that never lost him on the court. 👤 Holds your hand to remind you that he’s there. 👤 Never asks you to come to his games but he’s happy when he sees you there, you used signs because you're just too shy to scream your praise for him. 👤 He finds you in a crowd and immediately moves to stand next to or behind you, everyone thinks that you are unbelievably cute.
You had come to one of Kuroko’s matches and he gone to get changed, you had gone to seat on a bench away from the large crowd that had gathered to get autographs and talk to the team, you were happy to wait for him while he dealt with the fans. You were scrolling through your phone when a shadow loomed over you, their hand reaching out to grab you and pull you off quickly. “It’s alright, it’s just me.” Kuroko finally said as your eyes found the back of his head. “What are you doing?” You asked. “Come on before they notice.” He said pulling you out of the arena and off down the road. “Are you sure that you should run away from all that?” You asked. “Don’t worry, Taiga loves the attention, there’s only one person that I want to be that close to.” He answered as he pulled you into a restaurant, where he ordered food for the both of you and you sat and talked for a while.
It only took about 10 minutes before his teammates and manager found you “Kuroko there you are! We were worried.” Riko said as waved frantically. Kuroko groaned next to you as a tray was slammed down on the table next to you as an arm wrapped around your shoulder “Hey little mouse, you two lovebirds on a date?” Taiga asked. “If we were you ruined it.” Kuroko grumbled as he linked your hands under the table giving it a reassuring squeeze. “We can just leave if you want, I know they’re all a bit loud for you.” Kuroko mumbled and you looked at him and smiled. “It’s okay.” You said softly as you moved a little closer to Kuroko. “Say the word and we’ll leave.” He whispered as the rest of the team sat around you as Riko and Hyuga tried to get the rest of the team to sit down, shut up and eat like normal humans.

Taiga Kagami
🐅 Taiga does see you around but it takes a little while for him to actually take notice of you, he immediately thinks that you are afraid of him and as he always does he rushes in to interrogate you. 🐅 You were alone when he found you and demanded to know why you were afraid of him, unfortunately the natural aggression and his stature caused a stuttered reply about being shy. 🐅 Que a flustered apology as he scratched the back of his head as he stuttered through his sentences and exited quickly. 🐅 He made sure to wave at you when he saw you after that, you were shocked but it became second nature to shyly wave back to him in the halls and before you knew it you were spending time together outside of school. 🐅 You don’t know when the relationship shifted but Taiga did ask you out, he didn’t make a big deal of the first date, he didn’t want to make you uncomfortable but dates become easier the longer that your dating. 🐅 He’s loud enough for the both of you so if you need to say something then he becomes your voice. 🐅 He moved at your pace, whatever it would be, he’d never force PDA but he’s not against it. 🐅 Your biggest supporter, he was the one that you could hear cheering you on if you were into sports or any time of performance art, if not he’ll always tell you how proud of you he is. 🐅 He savoured the calm that you brought with you were the only person who could calm him down and get him to think straight sometimes.
Taiga was having a bad game, it was unusual for Riko to call on people from the crowd but she had seen the way that you calmed him down in practice matches, in less than a second and they went on to win, she needed that now. “(Y/N) you're up!” Riko said as Koganei led you down to the team. “M-me?” You asked. “What…” “Just do what you always do.” Riko muttered as she pushed you towards the brooding Taiga. “W-what’s going on T?” You asked, jumping at the loud cheer from the crowd, realistically you knew that they weren’t even looking at you they were all focused on the game still in full swing but the moment that you flinched Taiga took your hand leading you into the secluded hall way that lead back into the changing room. “What are you doing down here?” He asked, “It's too loud down here.” “Riko wanted me to come down here to talk to you.” You answered. “But this makes you uncomfortable.” He said taking your face in his hands and gently running his thumbs over them. “I don’t like seeing you like this, you know you have to be careful if you want to be able to jump like you do.” You mumbled and he smiled leaning forward to rest his head against yours. “Doesn’t mean you gotta be uncomfortable.” Taiga said as he pressed a kiss to your temple. “Then promise that you’ll be careful and think everything through please.” You pleaded and he looked at the game and then you. “I’ll try.” He nodded with a smile, despite the fact that the game was only 6 feet away from you he felt like it was your world and there was nothing that could change that. “You have a game to win.” You said softly as you pointed towards the court and he leaned forward a smirk on his face. “You bet I have.” Taiga said before pressing a kiss to your lips and jogging back to the bench where he was begging Riko to put him back in.

Shintaro Midorima
♋ You have Takao to thank for this partnership, since you were put next to him for most classes he adopted you as his introvert before he even knew Midorima. ♋ Takao literally took you everywhere, so you ended up at practice with him most of the time and met Midorima. ♋ Midorima drew a lot of attention to himself with the antic that he pulled but he taught you a lot about being comfortable in your own skin, now that didn’t mean that you were shouting from the rooftops or anything but it did mean that you were happy with the fact that you didn’t talk as much as other people and that was okay. ♋ Midorima became a silent guard dog, watched people’s behaviour and the way that they talked to or about you, correcting anything that made you uncomfortable or upset. ♋ Would bring your lucky item to school with him (by bring I mean get Takao to find it wherever it might be for him to hand to you when they meet up with you). ♋ Takao of course was the one to realise that you liked Midorima and gently guided him in the direction of his own realisation (literally had to spell it out to him, Midorima is academically smart and socially stupid). ♋ When you guys actually started dating there was a lot that you had to figure out, mostly about boundaries. ♋ Though he might grumble he’ll help you with anything you ask him to because he knows how hard you find it to actually ask for help. ♋ You guys are like an old married couple, he holds the door open for you, forehead kisses and hand holding.
Takao had watched you in your last couple of classes and it seemed that there was something bothering you, he didn’t know what it was and everytime he asked you what was wrong you’d brush him off and tell him that it was nothing. When you didn’t show up to lunch that day he decided to talk to Midorima about it. “Hey is something bothering (Y/N)?” Takao asked. “What?” Midorima asked. “Well they just seem a little distracted and they won’t tell me what’s going on… Plus they never usually keep us waiting.” Takao explained. “Yeah they’re apparently at the library.” Midorima answered with a shrug. “Well will you just check on them some time?” Takao asked, Midorima would have dismissed any other request but considering it was to check on you he gave a non committal grunt instead before standing up and disappearing out of the cafeteria in search of you.
You were surrounded by books as you hurriedly wrote notes about something, Midorima watched you for a second from where he was leaning against the bookcase “what are you worrying about?” He asked softly as he walked towards you. “I need to pass this exam, this is the third time that I’m taking it.” You mumbled as you looked over the book again groaned after your finger traced a sentence three times. “Why didn’t you just ask for help?” He asked. “This is my problem, I don't need to bother anyone else with it.” You explained as you waved him off. “You aren’t bothering anyone, what are you studying?” He asked, you tried to deter him but he just reached over you and grabbed the book that you were looking at and nodded before closing it. “I can help you with this after practice today.” “Hey!” You said quietly, Midorima would have laughed if you were alone, he’d never heard you raise your voice even a little and you trying to sound intimidating made him want to laugh. “I mean I’ll help you later, it doesn’t matter what you need help with, ask me.” He said. “But-” “You're the only person that gets the privilege so use it.” He ordered pushing his glasses up his nose “now come on, you need to eat something before our next class.” “T-thank you.” You mumbled playing with your fingers as he linked your hand and pulled you out of the library.

Daiki Aomine
💤 Again someone else was the reason that you met Aomine, Momoi befriended you and dragged you to practise. 💤 From the moment that Aomine saw you he thought that you were cute and let's be honest he thought the personality was a jackpot. 💤 He took every opportunity to tease you, given his height he’d just lean over you, crowd you into a corner or lean down to your ear to whisper something usually “this making you nervous?” 💤 It didn’t take him long to realise that he wanted more than just the teasing and actually asked Momoi to help him. 💤 There was a lot of work involved in him getting you to believe that he wanted you but he did. 💤 Aomine has and always will be a tease so that often meant that he’d come out of nowhere to press kisses to whatever part of your skin he could reach. 💤 Always steal whatever food or drink you have and if you try to stop him he’ll bite your fingers if they’re close enough to his mouth. 💤 He honestly loves to show you off, especially if he knows that there was someone around that liked you. 💤 Momoi sent you to go and get Aomine when he was skipping out on practice which always resulted in him getting something that he wanted from you in return.
You climbed up the ladder catching sight of your lazy boyfriend, who seemed to be taking a nap. “Dai?” You asked softly, you saw his eyes flicker open as they moved to you. “Was just dreaming of you.” He smirked as he put his hand out towards you, you rolled your eyes as you took his hand letting him lead you closer sitting up at the same time that he directed you to sit straddled over his waist. “She sent you, didn't she?” “They just want you to show up for practice.” You said softly as he pressed a kiss to your cheek, hoping to distract you. “You know they send you here because I can’t say no to you.” He mumbled face now buried in the crook of your neck. “Can you please just go to practice?” You asked. “Mm if you do something for me.” He muttered. “What?” He asked. “I’ll tell you when I want it.” He said. It seemed like a terrible deal but it was probably the only thing that could get him to go to practice. “Let’s go.” He smiled tapping your thighs for you to stand, you watched as he jumped down from the small heightened part of the roof, you often forget that he was an athlete with the amount of time that he spent lazing around, he turned back to you “come on beautiful, I’ve got you.” He helped you down before walking towards the fire exit with your hands connected.
When you got to the gym, they had finished their warm ups “oh! You got him!” Momoi cheered and you nodded. “Yeah.” You nodded. “Thanks (Y/N), you're the best.” Wakamatsu said, you blushed as you nodded at him, and Aomine grabbed your arm. “About that favour.” He mumbled pulling you back by the waist holding you close “I want a kiss.” “R-right now?” You asked. “Mhm.” He hummed leaning closer “In front of everyone?” You asked. “Mhm.” He hummed again before pressing a kiss on your lips making a show of kissing you in front of the rest of the team before pulling away still close to you “now go wait with Momoi I’m not done with my favour.” “B-but you only asked for one.” You frowned. “Wait for me.” He winked as he jogged off to the team and Momoi pulled you over to where she was sitting to watch them practise.

Ryota Kise
📷 Kise was and still is a sweet boy, he saw everyone as they were and he never treated anyone as if they were below him despite the fact that he was a model. 📷 He got a lot of attention and you assumed that meant that he had no idea who you were because you faded into the background easily. 📷 Kise noticed you after you bumped into him, he started to see you around more and more, he would never get you to say anything but you would smile and wave before someone else demanded his attention. 📷 He decided that he wasn’t going to let anyone deter him one day and made his way over to you introducing himself and asking for your name, it didn’t take long for him to make a friend out of you, though it did take a little longer to convince you to go on a date with him. 📷 Once you became official, there were very few people that knew about it, he made a statement to say that he was no longer single but he made sure that no one knew your name. 📷 At school you guys seemed like good friends but when you got some time alone, Kise never stopped pressing kisses all over your face or any other skin that he could find. 📷 Kise never forced you to do anything that you didn’t want to do, he respected your personality, he did love it after all. 📷 Likes to spend time with you in one of your bedrooms just talking especially after having a tough day. 📷 Take on your conversation if he can see you getting uncomfortable or flustered.
You had been with Kise for months now and while you were happy there was one thing that was bothering you. Kise had kept your relationship a secret in the hopes that it would make you more comfortable and in all honesty it did. However over the last couple of weeks you had noticed how close people were getting to him like, the fact that no one knew how he was dating meant that they could still try to get his attention. You hadn’t said anything to Kise. You were sure that it was your own jealousy but Kasamatsu, who you had become friends with since dating Kise, had noticed a difference in you.
“What’s bothering you?” Katamatsu asked. “Huh? Nothing. I’m fine.” You answered as you continued writing notes at your desk. “You're a terrible liar.” Katamatsu glared at you and watched as your eyes moved down so that you weren’t actually looking at him anymore. “I’m just working through some things. It's fine, nothing to worry about.” You said playing with your finger. “Have you talked to Kise about it?” He asked. “He doesn’t need to know about it.” You argued and he nodded. “So it has something to do with Kise?” He asked. “He didn’t do anything wrong!” You said quickly, you knew that Kasamatsu often looked for the worst in Kise even if they were friends. “Okay… So what’s going on?” He asked. “Ust people seem to be gettin closer to Kise you know, people who are probably better suited to him you know…” You explained. “You're worried?” He asked. “He doesn’t make me feel like I should be but I am.” You admitted. “Hey Kasamatsu can I talk to (Y/N) for a second?” Kise’s voice made you jump, as you gritted your teeth with your eyes closed, neither of the boys said anything but you heard them change places and then Kasamatsu left. “Please look at me.” Kise pleaded and it took a minute but you finally looked up at him, he smiled softly. “Why didn’t you tell me?” You were thankful that he wasn’t going to make you say it again. “I thought it was me… I was trying to think of something that would make this all go away.” You explained “I wanted to have a solution.” “You can’t figure all of this out by yourself.” He said softly, he was careful how loud he talked. “I know…” You answered, he could see the tears in your eyes and he wanted to hug, to comfort you properly but he couldn’t. “I want to hug you.” He mumbled as he looked at the people around you. “You could if you wanted to.” You mumbled. “People will see.” He reminded you and you nodded. “I know.” You answered. “Maybe we can fix everything, I’ll hug you now and later we can talk about a picture to announce you as my girlfriend, if that’s what you want, if you're ready for that.” He suggested coming around the table to pull you into a hug kissing the top of your head. “Yeah, maybe we can.” You mumbled burying your face in his chest relishing in the feeling of him hugging you.

Atsushi Murasakibara
🍬 You were out buying snacks the first time that you had ever interacted with Atsushi, you were trying to decide on what to get and he just leaned over you to grab what he wanted. 🍬 He leant down his voice low and lazy as always, he was right next to your ear as he told you what one you should get, then he was gone. 🍬 You blushed as you caught sight of him walking past the window of the shop but nothing more happened from it. 🍬 At least for you nothing else happened, you assumed that he’d never remember you that is but he noticed you around the school more often. 🍬 One day he saw you, there was a guy around your age leaning over you, he saw that you were uncomfortable, that was enough to have him walking over but when he saw the guy take the food that you had been eating he was ready to go into battle. 🍬 He scared the guy off and then made sure to tell you to protect the snacks before heading off. 🍬 You guys were cute together, everyone thought that you were cute, given the fact that he was the scary kid that no one could approach and you were the sweet innocent student that no one expected him to be interested in. 🍬 Scary dog privileges, he watched you closely and always appeared when you needed him. He hated it when you shared food with other people, he was always worse when you did that. 🍬 The moment that you both seemed to remember most was the moment that you properly fist met.
It had been after he had saved you from the guy who had attempted to steal your food, you started to leave snacks in his locker or desk, at first he thought that he had left them there by accident and was pleasantly surprised but when it became regular he wanted to figure out who was doing it. Atsushi waited one day he was across the hall watched the door to his classroom and then he saw you, you weren’t in his class, he walked towards the other door looking in to see you slipping the sweet treat into his desk, he snuck up behind you so when you stepped back you bumped right into him. “What are you doing there little mouse?” He asked. “I-I um…” You didn’t seem to want to admit what you were doing. “Are you the one leaving all those snacks for me?” He asked. “You helped me before, I’m just saying thank you.” You answered stepping away from him but given his height he still seemed imposing, so close. “You could have just said thank you” He smirked, his desk was against the wall so when he moved both his hands to rest on the desks on either side of him you had nowhere else to go. “I-I’m not very good at talking…” You explained. “Mm, this is the first time that I’ve heard your voice.” He smirked. “How about you just give me my thank you gifts in person and we’ll leave it at that?” “In person? Why?” You asked, he just smirked as he reached around you grabbing the snack that you had hidden in his desk and winked. “I got to go meet a friend, thanks, next time give it to me in person okay?” He asked before you could answer and he disappeared out of the classroom leaving you with a blush on your face paired with a smile.

Seijuro Akashi
👑 Your parents knew each other, that was how you ended up meeting however, you never made him feel like he needed to be anyone except for himself. 👑 You guys would seek each other out when you knew that both your parents would be at an event together. 👑 You knew each other well and that was why you were one of the first people to notice the personality change and you told him as much but you still didn’t leave his side. 👑 Akashi made sure that you were looked after at school, even with everything that was going on with him, you were one of the most important people in his life and did not plan on leaving you. 👑 You didn’t treat him any differently with the personality change in fact, you stuck closer than you ever had before, you never really said anything but you were there if he needed you. 👑 Akashi would always ask if you had eaten before providing you with something if you hadn’t. 👑 You congratulated him on every win and attended every game no matter what was happening the next day. 👑 His eyes found you in the crowd every time, his eyes landing on you where he gave a subtle nod in appreciation and you gave a shy wave. 👑 He didn’t notice how important you were until the end of the match with Kuroko when he finally accepted everything but he didn’t wait to tell you.
You were sitting in the crowd, you were happy that Kuroko had managed to win, you had been friends with him before you all went your separate ways but you were more devastated for Akashi who was facing his first loss, you attempted to find him on field and realised that he wasn’t there, he was with Kuroko minutes ago you looked away for a second and then he was gone, you hoped that he wasn’t taking it too hard, you stood from where you were sitting turning to leave but came face to face with Akashi. “Oh! Sorry I didn’t know that you were there.” You said taking a step back to put some space between you. “Yeah I was looking for you.” He said “Glad I caught you before you left.” “Is there something that you need?” You asked. “Actually there is.” He said softly, you waited for him to continue talking, you were expecting some kind of favour like taking something for him, or delivering something for him but what came out of his mouth was something very different “Will you go on a date with me?” “M-me?” You asked, looking down at your hands. “Yes you.” He laughed, it had been so long since you had heard him laugh, you missed it, it brought a blush to your cheeks and it only worsened when he lifted your chin to look at him “what do you say?” “U-um I would love to but are you sure?” You asked. “What do you mean?” He asked. “You could probably have anyone here, are you sure that you want me?” You asked, he hated that you seemed confident in that one sentence, that you were sure that he would pick someone else so instead he leaned forward, the smile now softer and almost sad. “I’m sure.” He answered before pressing his lips to yours in a long awaited kiss, one hand cradling your cheek and the other around your waist to pull you closer to him. “Come on.” He pulled you after him ignoring the staring, focused solely on you as he led you to the perfect place for your first date.

Aomine stopped on the gravel path. He listened for a moment. There were strange noises coming from the gym. Momoi had once told him that it was haunted. For a moment, he had actually believed her but then he met Kuroko. The boy, with his enthusiasm for training and his ability to distract attention, had unconsciously acted like a real ghost. Daiki had laughed off the silly rumors the next day but now he wasn't so sure if there wasn't some truth to them. He checked his phone to make sure he hadn't mixed up anything:
Tetsu
I got sick. I won't be at training today.
So no. It should be just him here. He looked around nervously. The schoolyard was empty. There was no one who could accompany him. The whole team had already gone home. He licked his lips nervously. He could actually leave but he shouldn't chicken out...He won't. Probably...
— Shit! I'm coming! — He gripped his ball tightly.
He wasn't a wimp, after all. People in middle school shouldn't be afraid of a made-up ghost. Surely someone was just making fun of him. He lifted his head proudly. He quickened his pace, afraid of changing his mind at the last moment.
Aomine gently opened the door and looked around the room. The strong halogen lights illuminated the room. It gave him courage.
A girl ran through the middle of the court. She dribbled skillfully towards the basket. He breathed a sigh of relief. She was certainly no ghost. You could even say she looked very pretty. Especially considering her curves. Aomine had long since stopped caring about how others viewed his perception of the opposite sex. If a woman had large breasts, he saw nothing wrong with admiring them. A compliment like any other.
He stood in the doorway for a moment, watching her practice. She seemed to be honing her basic skills. Crossover. Right. Left. Throw. Then the reverse. And so on and so forth.
At one point the ball bounced off the basket and rolled right at his feet. Daiki picked it up and twirled it on his finger. It spun for a moment. He sent it back towards the student. He had to admit she had quick reflexes because she caught it correctly.
— Hi! — she called, dribbling. — Did you come to practice too, Aomine-san?
Shock must have shown on his face. After all, it wasn't every day that he met a stranger who knew who he was.
— How do you know my name? — He stepped closer.
— It’s hard not to know a member of the Generation of Miracles just by going to Teikō — she said.
He probably hadn't realized how recognizable he was until now. His career was just starting to take off. He had a feeling that one day he would go far but it seemed that everything happened faster than he thought. Kise was the one who could boast about his popularity. Female fans were running after him everywhere. They begged for his autograph, a photo together or left him gifts. He didn't envy him. They could be awfully annoying.
— I'm in the basketball club, so I watched your games — she added.
So he was wrong after all. It wasn't his five minutes of fame yet. Maybe that was for the best.
— Hmmm…— A low growl escaped his throat. — How about one-on-one?
He was convinced that she would refuse. Most people were afraid to play with him. If they saw him, they should have sensed defeat. Years of street basketball had instilled in him wild instincts. He had developed reflexes to a superhuman level. He wasn't afraid to admit that he was good. He knew his abilities and constantly pushed the boundaries of what held him back. This discouraged many people who saw no point in competing with him.
However, to his surprise, the girl put her ball aside and with a smile stood ready to fight.
— I’m [Reader]. — She held out her hand.
He shook his hand, feeling the firm grip. She certainly had no shortage of strength.
Daiki wasn't entirely sure how it worked. Could sports be some form of communication that only a select few could understand?  For some reason, that seemed true. This game seemed to say more about the person he had just met than words could.
She had the drive. She put her heart into basketball. It was obvious to him. Especially since Tetsu was his friend. And he embodied that attitude. There was a stubbornness to the game. Not as fierce as his own but more thoughtful. The girl was weighing her options.
After a few minutes, he understood what it was all about. He knew why she had been practicing the basics that evening. She had a real talent for throwing. Maybe not as big as Midorima's but still big. Everything went perfectly if he didn't have time to defend. No matter how weird the angle she took. She scored quite a few points. But she couldn't compete with him. Since they were competing seriously, he decided not to give her a head start. Her feints were poor. It was also hard for her to keep up with her murderous pace of running. He suspected that her passing was also mediocre. However, he didn't have a chance to see them because it was just the two of them. So he shamelessly exploited these weaknesses to finally gain a crushing advantage.
He waited for the moment when she would break down. For that familiar expression that he saw more and more often on the faces of his rivals. For a moment of revelation when she would understand her own shortcomings in the face of his skills. But she didn't stop. Even when she fell, exhausted, she got up and continued. Someone might say that he should stop then. But he saw the will to fight in her eyes. He recognized that hunger for a worthy opponent. The same one that consumed him so he couldn't stop himself.
He felt warm but not because of the sweat glistening on his tanned skin. It was some kind of happy feeling, manifesting itself in the area of his belly. When she smiled, something inside him fluttered, wanting to come to the surface. He wanted to continue, eternally untiring. The more he thought about it, the sillier it seemed. Could this be love at first sight?
Damn it! — he thought. He really got distracted and she took the ball from him. She barely managed to score another point. He couldn't help but feel a smile creeping onto his lips. This was real basketball. The kind he liked.
He wasn't an idiot. He liked her. Maybe love was too strong of a word but something about her drew him in. From her looks, to her mannerism and passion she exuded. He wanted to spend more time with her. To get to know her better.
— I’ll come over and watch your game sometime — he said casually.
He said this while jumping to the basket. He preferred to have his back turned. He didn't consider failure. But just in case, it would be better not to see her face if she refused him.
The girl stopped for a moment. They were just resuming play after a point but he could see that something had changed in her posture. She seemed to stiffen slightly.
— I would love to invite you but I'm not in the starting lineup. — She hit a three-pointer.
That surprised him. Had the female Teikō gained strong players in such a short time? It seemed to him that they were still looking for them. The semester had only just started. She should definitely be there. True, she seemed average against him, but he was different. Besides, her mistakes were easy to correct quite quickly. And with such accuracy, the team would certainly go far.
— Why? — The boy was really curious.
He expected her to shrug off the question. Satsuki usually did that when he asked her what was going on. She often said it was none of his business and that he shouldn't meddle in other people's business (unless it was Kuroko, which was a different matter entirely). But she wasn't Momoi.
— The coach and captain don’t think someone my size can play — she said bluntly.
This wasn't what he expected at all. What was he supposed to say now? That he was sorry? That it was idiotic? The girls he'd been hanging out with up until now probably wanted to hear that. They usually liked to tell each other that they weren't overweight. The last time he'd told a friend she'd gained weight, she hadn't spoken to him for a week.
— I know that look. — [Reader] rolled her eyes in a showy manner. — Don't say you're sorry. I don't need comforting. I know I'm fatter than most of the girls on the team and I know my limits. But that doesn't give those two bitches the right to look down on me. I'll make it to the starting lineup and show them they were wrong. — With that, she returned to the game.
He didn't know what shocked him more. The fact that she had just called the teacher a bitch (from what he had heard about her, she deserved it) or the fact that she was accepting a fact that most people would have a hard time accepting. She was indeed wider in some places but he didn't see that as a problem. Especially with her playing. If she pulled herself together enough, she would get a promotion sooner or later.
— Women with curves are attractive!
She gave him the middle finger and he smiled. She was definitely refreshing compared to his previous friends.
— What? I'm telling the truth!
She shook her head and dribbled toward the basket.
He knocked the ball out of her hands, then outpaced it by a step. He jumped into the air. It might not have been a perfect dunk. He still lacked the height and strength to do it right. Still, he hung in the air for a moment. He watched with glee as the orange streaked through the rim. He knew he was showing off like a brat but he didn't even try to fight it.
— I'm sure you'll get in. — He looked into her eyes for a moment. He wanted her to know he wasn't teasing. He really meant it.
[Reader] pushed back her sporty ponytail. She didn't say anything. She just started playing again. They spent the entire evening like that.
Suddenly, the ringing of his phone pierced through the squeak of his sneakers. He was about to close the flap when he saw the screen: Mother. That meant trouble. She had shouted at him as soon as he answered. So much so that he had held the device away from his ear. He was supposed to come back earlier today to help her carry the heavy bags. He tried to defend himself but the clock in the ward clearly showed that it was way past time. He hung up in the middle of a tirade. She wouldn't tell him anything new anyway. All he could do was run home as fast as he could.
[Reader] was laughing on the side the entire time. She was clearly having a wild time watching him get lectured.
— Thanks for the match! — She grabbed her backpack from the floor.
— Thanking me for stomping you into the ground? — Aomine grinned.
She hit him in the arm. It didn't hurt, although she had a lot of strength. It was just that his muscles were so developed that he didn't feel much.
— I'll get even next time. — The girl uttered a curse in her mouth.
— Who said there would be a next time? — The boy raised an eyebrow.
It seemed as if they were good friends, even though they had only met that day. It felt strange. Especially since all the girls he had been interested in so far had only been distinguished by their looks. He had never managed to connect with any of them. They accepted that he was interested in sports but none of them saw in it what he saw. It was as if they understood the general idea but did not know the essence of his passion.
True, he had Satsuki with him. But he couldn't look at her as anything other than his younger sister. They lived close by and had known each other since childhood. Besides, she made gooey eyes at his best friend. She understood, to some extent, what was going on in Daiki's head but he hadn't met anyone outside his usual circle of friends who understood him in ages.
They headed for the door. [Reader] didn't say anything since he'd dismissed the idea of repeating the meeting. He glanced at her out of the corner of his eye.
— If you ever want to train together, I'm already helping my teammate. We hang out here almost every day at this time. You're welcome to join. — Aomine scratched the back of his neck.
Kuroko probably shouldn't mind. If he knew him, he'd probably be happy about it. Especially since they were very similar in some ways.
— Really? — He felt as if her whole face had lit up. But it was possible that it was just the moonlight coming out from behind the clouds.
— Yeah — he murmured in confirmation.
— Well, see you then! — She ran away happily.
Tumblr media
Aomine was eating the burger and stuffing himself with fries. Crispy bun, juicy meat and some unnecessary vegetable additions. That familiar taste brought back memories. And a big cola. He took a sip through a big straw. The dark, cold and sweet liquid was bubbling with bubbles. He felt just like he did at the beginning of middle school. Only better. That's what he kept telling himself.
Because now it was late at night. Dark and quiet. No one bothered him. There was only one employee on shift at Maji Burger, minding his own business. He didn't even look in his direction.
When he used to come here, he was surrounded by noise. Colleagues fighting over who would order first or who owed whom money. It seemed as if the warm afternoons had disappeared somewhere far away. As if they had happened years ago, even though they hadn't. He didn't miss it. He couldn't because he had chosen it himself. That loneliness that, as if to spite him, made itself known at moments like this.
Daiki leaned his head against the window. Neon lights illuminated the uninteresting views. He glanced at the table. He had ordered way too much food. He wouldn't be able to finish all of this and the money would be wasted. Why had he done that in the first place? He hadn't come here with the boys in a long time. They'd seen each other at games but only official ones. He didn't want to meet up with them, so he avoided them like the plague. Besides, from what he knew, they'd stopped spending time together. They weren't a team, just a collection of individuals. And now each of them had graduated from Teikō.
The soft bell above the door chimed. He didn't care until he heard a familiar voice. He froze with the burger halfway to his mouth.
[Reader]. She was the one who was getting her shake from the lighted counter. He didn't believe in gods but at that moment he was praying that she wouldn't notice him. Which was awfully stupid, when you think about it. Why should he be afraid of her? It didn't work out. That was all. They didn't really have a way to break up. They never officially announced that they were a couple. They didn't care about things like that. When they got to the dating stage, everything in his life started to fall apart. He told her that it wasn't going to work out. She accepted that and they were really good friends. Until he pushed his friends away too and their contact became much less.
— Can I sit here? — She unceremoniously slid into the seat across from him.
— If you want — he grunted quietly.
— Middle school’s over. Time flew by, huh? — [Reader] played with her straw. Like she wasn’t entirely sure what to say.
He didn't blame her. It was awkward sitting like this. Like old times. They barely saw each other. He didn't even know what exactly she was going to do now. She was going to Shūtoku but that was all he knew. After she made it to the first team, she started playing in official matches. They would surely welcome her with open arms. He told himself that he wasn't interested. And yet, he caught news about her from the ever-chattering Satsuki. And, as he looked through his phone, he followed her social media. Deep down, he knew that if he really didn't give a damn about her, he would have stopped absorbing this knowledge at every opportunity a long time ago.
— Yes, very quickly — Aomine agreed.
There was an awkward silence. It rang in his ears, a merciless reminder that things are different than they used to be. She used to sit right next to him. He put his arm around her, which she playfully shook off. Then he would tell some unfunny jokes, arguing about what strategy to adopt for the next match.
She still looked as beautiful as the first day he had met her. There was still that fire burning within her that he so desperately lacked.
He looked at the table.
— Do you want a burger? — he asked, holding the bun out to her.
— Wow, my favourite! Thanks!
He cursed himself mentally. He had unknowingly bought the one she loved the most. In fact, all of the items on his plate were Generation of Miracles' preferences.
It was probably the first time in a long time that she was happy about something he did. Because she certainly wasn't happy with what he had become. He regretted some of it but never completely.
They ate in silence for a while. He chewed slowly. It seemed to him that he had lost his appetite. The morsels got stuck somewhere in his throat.
— [Reader]...are you mad at me for...? — he cut off unsure. — You know... — he finished lamely.
How many different things were hidden behind that statement. He stopped training. He left her and Kuroko to themselves. It didn't matter that they were already doing great by then. He stopped spending time with them. He missed matches. Both his and hers. And then also regular meetings and conversations. He neglected everything they had built together.
It scared him how sentimental he sounded. And yet he wanted so badly to know what she thought about it.
— I'm not, Aomine-kun. I'm sad but I'm not mad. I understand you.
He was overwhelmed by how much basketball ruled his life. He loved it. Most of all, the feeling of competition that he no longer experienced. The better he got, the less there was left for him to discover. Practicing made his opponents seem even weaker. Daiki stood on the court and yawned. Every flip, double-tackle, feint and dunk stopped making sense. It was a vicious cycle. And the only way he dealt with it was not playing. So he pushed away everyone who had anything to do with the damned sport. He started with the team. Then his managers and friends — Satsuki. Ending with Kuroko and [Reader].
With horror, he realized that he was accusing them of something else. He was jealous. They enjoyed this discipline. It was something he had wanted but had not been able to achieve for a long time. They still had a long way to go. They enjoyed the game. While he had burned out. Of that once brightly burning passion, there was only a smoldering fire. That made it all the harder for him to see them. Even though he had been closest to them throughout his time in junior high school.
— The only one who can beat me…— Daiki began, as if trying to justify himself.
— ...is you? — the girl finished for him.
So she really understood him. She was probably one of the few people in his circle who did.
— I'm sure one day you'll meet someone who'll be your perfect rival. — [Reader] looked deep into his eyes. For perhaps the first time in a long time.
She was so similar to Kuroko but also different at the same time. That's exactly what his friend had once told him. For a while, he had truly believed him. He had played, trying to see when things would get better. Only, they never did. And then the coach had made him an offer. He didn't have to train anymore. As long as he showed up for official matches, everything was fine. That was when he finally gave up hope for change. He was tired of waiting forever. The promise he had made to the boys in the gym seemed like a last resort. Now that they had gone to different schools, they were his only chance to feel at least a part of what he used to feel. But he was certain that their skills wouldn't be enough to pose a threat, let alone defeat him. That thought had been weighing on his mind for a long time.
— I’m going to make it to Nationals — [Reader] said. — Maybe then you’ll consider me a worthy opponent. — A slight smile played on her face. She seemed absently present as she sipped her shake. — Then let’s play one-on-one like the good old days.
He didn't know what to say. He wanted her to become strong enough. On the other hand, he probably couldn't believe she was capable of doing that. Because in his opinion, no one was. Young Aomine would have believed in her abilities without limits. The older one had a problem with that because he didn't trust anyone or anything anymore. So he looked down, going back to eating.
— Thanks for the burger. I think it's time for me to go. — The girl stood up from her seat.
She took a few steps away, then, as if on an impulse, turned around.
— You can always call me — she added and with those words she left.
Tumblr media
— One more time, Tetsu!
The boy had misplaced his hands again. Aomine had to go over and fix them. He had to push the ball out in front of his chest if this was going to work. He shook his head.
Daiki couldn't believe he was teaching his friend the game the day before the match. But he owed him something. To him and to Kagami. After all, they had made him look at basketball with excitement for the first time in a long time. With a passion he hadn't felt since before he went to Teikō. It was amazing that losing tha match could fill him with such hope. Finally, someone who was a real opponent had appeared. What's more, Seirin wanted to repeat the match someday.
He finally allowed himself to smile while playing. This was the sport he was born to play. He was bursting with happiness. No more lying on the roof. Now he would get back to training. And the next time he met someone better, he would crush them into the ground. He had a purpose in life again and it was wonderful.
— I have one more favor to ask of you — Kuroko announced, trying to hit the basket again.
— Oi, don't you think that's an awful lot of favors? — Aomine replied, amused.
The blue-haired player tilted his head. He already knew that he wouldn't let him go. There was that annoying determination in his gaze. It lit up the darkness of the night around them.
— [Reader] won Nationals. — He aimed and threw again.
— I know — Daiki yawned, watching the same move over and over again. They had been practicing all evening.
— I thought you said you weren't very interested in her life. — That was his friend. He always made it to the point, paying attention to people. And now he'd caught him at his word, too.
— I somehow know — he muttered, turning his back.
The bare branches of the trees behind the pitch weren't all that interesting but he pretended they were. Just for the sake of it.
— I think you should call her. — Tetsuya's voice was quiet but it reached his ears.
He didn't answer. He felt like he was listening to his conscience. The truth was that he had watched the entire match. Aomine had also sent her a congratulatory text message but that was almost nothing. Especially since they had only seen each other a few times since they entered high school and usually by accident. Apart from that, they had exchanged holiday greetings. That was what their relationship was based on now. It was his fault. The girl had tried to renew their friendship a few times but basketball had still been an invisible wall between them. Even though they didn't talk about it, it had taken up such a large part of their lives that it had become a burden. It was hard to avoid it. Plus, they couldn't spend practice together like they used to.
— She won’t answer — Aomine said.
After all, she was probably celebrating with the rest of the team right now. They deserved it. But would she really reject him? He wasn't all that sure about his words.
— I think you're wrong. — Kuroko wasn't called the Phantom Player for nothing. He had appeared right next to him when he wasn't expecting him. He couldn't help but flinch.  Maybe he was partially a ghost after all?
— What are you doing? — Daiki asked, seeing him rapidly clicking away on his phone.
His friend shoved the screen under his nose. He dialed her number. The contact icon blinked quickly and brightly.
— Hang up! — Aomine panicked.
All he got was a shake of the head. A moment later, the phone was shoved into his hand. He was about to press the red receiver when his hand froze a few centimeters from the target. He couldn't do it. Especially not after the loudspeaker boomed out:
— Hello? Kuroko-kun?
He missed her voice so much. It didn't bother him that some noises, crackles and toasts could be heard in the background. Probably the female part of Shūtoku was happy about their victory. What mattered was that she was there.
It took him a moment to recover.
— This is Aomine.
— Hey, why are you calling from Tetsu's phone? Is something wrong? Shut up, girls. I can't hear anything. — She tried unsuccessfully to reduce the amount of noise that interrupted the conversation.
— No, Tetsu's fine...— the boy reassured her. — I'm calling because... I'm calling to congratulate you.
He took a deep breath. Since when had he been afraid? Especially of her. He should just say what he had wanted to say for a long time but had lacked the courage to say.
He mentally cursed his friend. It always turned out that he was right in the end.
— I know, I saw your message. I even replied to you. — The girl laughed quietly.
— I'm not done.. I'm calling to apologize. For everything... I'll do it better when we meet again... And I want to say that if you still want to play with me someday, I'm ready.
For a moment, the only sound on the other end was background noise. He wasn't sure if he had done the right thing. Maybe he should have used different words? Or done it at a better time? His heart was pounding. He was so nervous that he held his breath.
— Are you on the field now? — The question caught him completely off guard.
— Yes, in front of the stadium — Daiki confirmed, not understanding what she was getting at.
— You better be in shape. I'm going to win! See you in twenty minutes. — With that, she hung up.
Aomine looked at his phone, feeling a smile spread across his face for the umpteenth time that day. He already knew this was going to be a good match...

Pairing: Tetsuya Kuroko X afab!Reader
Synopsis: After accidentally cutting her finger, MC receives unexpected care and concern from her brother figure, Tetsuya, who goes out of his way to treat her wound despite her attempts to downplay it.
Word Count: 527
Tumblr media
"Ouch!" I flinched after the blade of the cutter made another wound on my finger, closing one eye as the pain rushed in.
"Are you alright, [Y/n]-chan?" Tetsuya-nii's calm voice entered my ear, making my heart beat hardly against my ribcage.
"A-ah... it's just a small cut, it's no big deal." I told Tetsuya-nii, flashing him a reassuring smile before getting the masking tape to cover my wound.
"You shouldn't use that."
Oh boy... there's another pang in my chest.
"W-well..." I started. "I actually don't have any bandage so I guess the tape will do it for now."
"No. You shouldn't use it, the tape is dangerous to the wound." Tetsuya-nii said.
He's right.
"Come, let me treat your wounds," he extended his hand to me, which I accepted and he pulled me up from the ground.
Tetsuya-nii gently grabs my hand while walking to the clinic, being sure that his touch won't bring me pain. As we arrived at the clinic, Tetsuya-nii opened the door and pulled me inside.
"Please sit there, [Y/n]-chan," Tetsuya-nii said and pointed to an empty couch.
I obeyed and sat there, waiting for Tetsuya-nii to bring the medical kit. Our nurse is not present today cause she had another student to take care of. I waited for Tetsuya-nii and glanced at my wound. The blood is streaming out, creating a droplet of red liquid forming around my wound. I flinched once again when the sharp pain emerged from the cut. I muttered a small 'shit' before Tetsuya-nii came to me.
"Here, let me clean your wound," Tetsuya-nii knelt in front of me and held a small wet towel.
He brushed the towel against my wound gently and removed the blood, creating a stain on the white towel. When I glanced at Tetsuya-nii, I can see his emotionless face, but this time, he showed a bit of worry and concern. His brows are knitted a bit upwards and wore a sly frown while cleaning my wound. Once he finished, he placed the cloth in a basin then put on a small bandage on my cut.
"There, it's treated." Tetsuya-nii stood up and grabbed the medical kit, before placing it back to its rightful place.
"Thanks a lot, Tetsuya-nii." I bowed my head when I thanked him, blush appeared on my cheeks as my heart is beating a constant rapid speed.
"It's no big deal. I just don't want to see you getting hurt."
What? Did I hear him well? He said that he didn't want to see me get hurt. Is that for real? But noticing the signs--his actions and emotions--he is really worried and concerned. And if I may add, he is blunt.
"By the way..."
I glanced at him in confusion, giving a hum as a response. Tetsuya-nii walked back to me, with me watching his actions with rapid heartbeat and flushing cheeks. He knelt down in front of me and kissed my forehead. My eyes widened in surprise at his unexpected gestures.
"Take good care of yourself."

Cats & Dogs- #2 & Kanitama
Return to File
Recovery date: March 9th, 2024
Description: Number two gets forgotten, again.
Notes: I've been wanting to write this forever, it's inspired by that one episode of pokemon (I think Indigo League) where they have to find their trainers.

Number two looked right, then left, then right again. Then he looked back at the empty sidewalk behind him, and back at the road… He huffed a sigh before dropping his butt down beside the bus stop sign. Forgotten again. Honestly, it was absurd how often even Number one seemed to forget him. Granted he was almost ten times smaller than Tetsuya Kuroko, but size be damned Tetsuya would not stand for continuously being forgotten by the Seirin team.
He vowed that this time he would not be bought back so easily! No amount of apologetic cooing from Riko or treats and pets from everyone else would win him back! No amount of-
Tetsuya’s head jerked forward harshly as something hit his head. With a low yip, he whipped his head around to find a chubby white and gray cat with its paw raised. Slowly, cautiously eyeing the cat’s raised paw, Tetsuya raised himself to his feet and turned around.
The cat seemed to be sizing him up, deciding if a fight would be worth it or not. Tetsuya figured he could take this pest, he’d take down bigger prey– Kagami, who seemed to have run away with his tail between his legs, Tetsuya would have to apologize when he came back– he could certainly take on this chubby little thing who attacked him while his guard was down. He jerked as the cat slowly lowered its paw, backing down from the altercation.
The cat gave him a slow nod, and Tetsuya settled back into a seated position.
What a weird animal.
“Lap dog.”
Tetsuya was ripped from his contemplation by the cat’s scoff as it took another swing, this time at his jersey.
Before its paw was pulled away, Tetsuya snapped at it and earned himself a hiss as the cat jumped backwards. Tetsuya stood back up, this time much more defensive as he bared his teeth at the stupid cat.
He wanted to be invisible again please and thank you.
“At least I don't go around picking fights with others.”
The cat rolled its eyes as the entered another silent standoff. This time, Tetsuya didn’t relax when the cat put its paw down again.
A loud screeching noise filled the street, and Tetsuya turned to watch a bus pull up across the street. His tail began to wag wildly as he anticipated his rescue, but his excitement came to an abrupt end as the cat bit his tail.
“What is your problem!” Tetsuya yelped as he turned back around, licking gently at his tail.
“What are you doing here?”
“What?”
The cat tilted its head.
“I’ve never seen you here before, what are you do-”
“Kitty!” A soft gasp cut the cat off.
They both turned to find a young man with glasses and a baseball cap with an S on it. The cat scoffed. Meanwhile the man crouched down, the shopping bag in his hand crinkling as he moved, and slowly moved towards them. Tetsuya began to cautiously approach him, but the cat stayed still.
“Aw, is this your friend?” The man asked, patting Tetsuya as the dog rubbed up against him. “Here, I brought you some tuna.”
The man pulled a can from his bag and opened it, setting it on the ground and sliding it over to the cat. The cat slunk closer, sniffed the tuna, and then stuck his nose up in the air– much to the dismay of the man.
“Wah!”
“Number two!”
“Number two!” “Tetsuya!”
“Tetsu!”
Tetsuya stopped rubbing against the man and looked down the street to find the Seirin basketball team walking their way. The man must have also looked away because the next thing he said was, “Not again.” and Tetsuya turned to find the cat missing. Truely a strange animal.
He didn’t dwell on it any longer as the man scooped him up.
“I’m gonna guess you’re Number two?” He asked before looking back towards Seirin and yelling, “is this your dog?”
Seirin definitely wouldn’t get off the hook so easily this time.

Would you be able to write a oneshot or some headcanons for Kuroko x reader where reader is always hugging him from behind and giving him butterfly kisses while he's just standing there straight face? The episode at the pool where Momoi is shaking him back and forth cracks me up. "he's got the looks and personality of old drywall" 😭

✎ pls, these cute requests are too much, and i go overboard a little. but that's a good thing! actually, this specific request makes me miss actively watching knb. kinda want to rewatch it... anyway, hope you enjoy!

❥ Kuroko Tetsuya’s known for holding a straight, nonchalant expression on his face.
❥ However, only a select few were allowed to see the emotion that is buried deep within his body, and you were one of those people.
❥ Your way of expressing your love for someone is through physical touch.
❥ But the first time you gave your partner, Kuroko, a hug, he froze up immediately.
❥ Before the two of you got together, the only person who’d give him hugs and affection was Momoi, but he saw it as a mere-friendly reaction.
❥ Yet, when you hugged him from either behind or the front, Kuroko wouldn’t understand what to do in that situation, particularly for the first month or so of your relationship.
❥ As time went by, Kuroko grew more comfortable with you, so his reaction is less dramatic than before whenever you give him your back hugs.
❥ Butterfly kisses landing on his cheek on the other hand… that took some time for him to adjust to.
❥ Again, Kuroko wasn’t really big on physical attention before getting together with you, so he, especially, wasn’t used to the sudden, warm feeling overloading his cheeks whenever your lips made contact with them.
❥ It took even longer for him to get used to your surprise kisses than it did for the hugs.
❥ Nonetheless, Kuroko’s back to his neutral appearance whenever you give him the slightest bit of physical attention, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t bubbling with happiness and warmth within.
❥ He may not know how to express it on his face or through his actions properly, but everyday, he tries his best for you.
❥ Occasionally, those small acts of love bring the tiniest hint of a smile to his lips along with a faint blush appearing on his cheeks.
❥ Kuroko Tetsuya may be a shadowy figure to others, but to you… he’s the light in your eyes.

If you're still doing requests, could you do a oneshot for Kuroko x reader where someone is being rude to Kuroko about his basketball abilities but reader is a lil chaotic and ready to throw down? After that situation the team is probably very cautious if they choose to poke fun at Kuroko

please keep in mind that all characters in my stories are always 18+
The sun was at its highest point, casting a scorching heat over Seirin High School that mid-afternoon. Its relentless rays beat through the window of the gym, down to the basketball court and turns the atmosphere into a sweltering furnace. The practice session had been grueling, pushing the Seirin High School basketball club to their limits.
The final whistle reverberated through the air, bringing an end to their grueling training session. A collective sigh of relief escaped the lips of the players, their exhausted bodies yearning for respite. Beads of sweat glistened on their foreheads as they swiftly gathered their belongings, a sense of urgency propelling their movements.
They sling their bags over their shoulders, their steps heavy with the weight of the intense practice. The thought of grabbing a refreshing beverage from the nearby corner store and seeking solace in the cool embrace of air conditioning consumes their minds.
Together, they move to file out of the gym, chatting tiredly with each other. You stand on the sidelines, watching the practice from start to finish. Your eyes scan the court, following the movements of the players with pride and admiration. Being the team manager and Kuroko's significant other has strengthened your connection with the team, making them equally important to you.
Kuroko, however, lingered behind, taking a moment to quench his thirst before glancing in your direction. His gaze, though usually understated, held a softness that spoke of his affection for you alone. He looks away when his name is called, Kagami urging him to hurry up. Kuroko complies, throwing his water bottle into his bag and zipping it up.
Instead of joining the group of boys first, he heads towards you, "I can stay and help," he offers a hand in clean-up, as he always does. But of course, you decline. He has worked so hard during practice, deserving of a break.
"It's fine, Tetsu," you tell him, leaning closer to give him a kiss on the cheek, "It's my job."
Kuroko's internal conflict is visible, his yearning to push back against your rejection evident in his torn expression. However, he relents with a nod, "Text me when you're finished. I'll come back to walk you home." He turns away to join the rest of the group, immediately disappearing in the middle of them. With that, he turns away, seamlessly blending in with the rest of the team as they make their way towards the door.
They all approach the exit, their progress comes to an abrupt halt as they encounter a group of opponents from an upcoming game. The atmosphere instantly becomes charged, tension crackling in the air. The Seirin team members exchange wary glances, a mixture of curiosity and caution painting their faces. It's clear that this unexpected encounter is about to escalate into something more than a simple exchange of words.
"Heard a member of the Generation of Miracles was on this team," one of them speaks up, overlaying confidence and smugness.
This puts everyone on guard, wondering why they are specifically looking for Kuroko. Sensing the tension, Kuroko, not one to fear confrontation, takes a bold step forward and suddenly appears in front of them out of nowhere.
"That would be me," he tells them, his voice steady and unwavering.
The opposing players look at him up and down, exchanging bewildered looks with each other to confirm they are indeed looking at the same person. However, instead of awe or respect, they burst into laughter, unable to contain their amusement.
"There's no way this guy's from the Generation of Miracles!" one of them exclaims, bent over and clutching their stomach from laughing too much.
"He looks like he'll break just from lifting a ball," another interjects in between fits of laughter. The rest of the opposing team joins in, their voices blending into a chorus of derision.
"The hell did you say?!" Kagami growls, pushing Kuroko back with his pinched eyebrows and eyes burning with a fire reminiscent of being in a heated game, "You wanna fight, punk?"
But the opposing team remains unmoved. They look unaffected by Kagami's threatening demeanor and continue to mock Kuroko, belittling his supposed lack of abilities on the court. Everyone present knows that such claims couldn't be further from the truth.
Having stood off to the side for far too long, you've had enough of their disrespectful behavior. With a determined stride, you stomp over to the group, pushing your way to the front and brushing Kagami aside, leaving him in stunned silence behind you at the force you gave to move him.
"What's your problem?" you challenge, your voice cutting through the tension with an edge of anger. The rude players turn to face you, their smug expressions faltering under your intense gaze, "You think you're so tough, coming over here to mock him? You clearly have no idea what you're talking about!"
One of the more intimidating members of the opposing team sneers at you, stepping forward with a menacing glare, "Who the hell are you?" he demands, attempting to intimidate you.
"I'm the fucking manager, and I don't appreciate you strutting in here like you shit doesn’t stink," you retort, placing your hands defiantly on your hips. Your stance exudes confidence and readiness to face any challenge that comes your way.
The insulted player's face contorts with anger, his veins bulging in his neck as he clenches his fists, "You bitch!" he spits out, his words laced with venom.
A smirk tugs at the corner of your lips as you take in the situation. It's amusing how they weren't threatened by Kagami, yet your entrance has turned their world upside down. Like a whirlwind of chaos, you've disrupted their arrogance.
"Fuck you," you shoot back, your words dripping with disdain, "Kagami warned you earlier, but it seems you need a reminder. These hands are rated 'E' for everyone, assface."
Your words hang in the air, a potent mix of defiance and readiness to engage in whatever confrontation may come your way. The opposing players exchange uncertain glances, their bravado momentarily shattered by your fearless attitude.
Aida, having silently witnessed the exchange, rushes to intervene before the situation escalates further. She steps between you and the opposing team, her voice firm yet composed. "Alright, that's enough. We're here to focus on our training, not engage in pointless quarrels."
You reluctantly back down, still seething with anger but recognizing the need to prioritize the team's goals. Casting one last withering glare at the opposing players, you turn away, your head held high.
“Woah, I didn’t know they could get that mad,” You overheard Koganei whisper amongst the group, watching you walk away when the opposing group finally left, “It was kinda scary.” his words resonate with the rest of the teammates, eliciting nods of agreement.
“It was like hulk mad but less smash.” Izuki chimes in, his comment met with a chorus of groans and chuckles. The team resumes their departure, their conversations gradually shifting back to lighter topics.
Kagami pauses at the door, observing Kuroko following closely behind you. Recognizing the importance of giving Kuroko his space, he shrugs his shoulders and decides to let him deal with things on his own, knowing they can catch up later.
Still seething with anger, you storm towards the basketball rack, forcefully slamming the remaining balls onto it. The sound echoes through the empty gymnasium, reflecting your frustration. As you reach for another ball, you suddenly feel Kuroko's presence in your field of vision. He extends a basketball towards you, offering it as if to ease your tension.
You take the ball from him, placing it on the rack with a bit more care than before. Glancing up at Kuroko, you can't help but notice the concern etched on his face. He reaches out to hold your hand, his touch gentle yet comforting.
"What's up?" you ask, your voice still tinged with irritation. You want to vent your frustrations, but at the same time, you were more interested in how he was feeling.
Kuroko meets your gaze, his eyes filled with genuine worry, "Are you okay?" he asks, his voice soft and filled with genuine concern.
Letting out a huff, you squeeze his hand, the touch grounding you, "I'm not the one who was insulted here," you playfully tease, trying to lighten the mood despite the lingering anger..
A small smile graces Kuroko's lips, his eyes sparkling with affection, "Yet, I'm the least mad between us," he jokes, his words holding a hint of warmth.
Nodding, you step closer to him, seeking solace in his presence,"I'm okay," you assure him, your voice softening, "But how about you, Kuroko?"
Kuroko's smile grows, and he pulls you into a gentle embrace, his arms enveloping you with warmth and reassurance, “I appreciate your concern," he replies, his voice steady and filled with conviction, “But I'm used to facing such challenges. I won't let their words affect me. As long as I have you and our team by my side, I can overcome anything."
Moved by his resilience, you lean in closer, resting your head on his shoulder, "You're incredible, Kuroko," you whisper, your voice filled with admiration, "Let's finish up here quickly and do an early milkshake movie date. We both deserve it."
A week later, the day of the match arrives. The team that had disrespected Kuroko learns a valuable lesson on the court. Seirin High School emerges victorious, their skills and teamwork shining brightly. As the final buzzer sounds, you can't help but feel a surge of pride. The opposing team, humbled by their defeat, can only hang their heads in shame.
During the post-match celebration, you make sure to rub their defeat in their faces, a playful smirk gracing your lips. The Seirin team witnesses your triumph and takes note, realizing that teasing Kuroko is no longer a wise choice.

School had just ended and most students were going to their respective after school clubs or practice. You on the other hand, were getting ready to go take pictures of the basketball club for the first yearbook. You are the head of the photography and yearbook club, even though you're a first year.
There were only five of you in the club but you didnt mind. It meant you didn't have to deal with a whole horde of people. Currently you were on your way to the basketball court to take pictures of the team. Riko Aida, the boys coach, had asked you to come take pictures today since everyone would be there.
You gently knocked on the gym doors and waited a moment. It opened to reveal the megane captain. He looked around for a moment before going to close the door. "Um... Is Riko here?" You asked as he looked down to you, as if he just noticed you were there. "Where did you even come from?" He asked with a slight head tilt.
"I was here the whole time." You said looking down and playing with the camera bag a bit. "Riko asked me to take pictures for the yearbook." You looked back up to him when you heard another set off footsteps. The person who you identified as Riko smiled and pulled you inside the gym, leaving Junpei to close the door.
She blew her whistle and got the attention off all the members. "Alright, listen up. I invited the head of the year book club to come take pictures of your practice today." She said putting her hands on her hips. You on the other hand, had your sights locked on a blue haired first year who didnt seem too interested.
Kagami raised his hand and asked, "When is he gonna be here." Riko furrowed her brows and placed a hand on your shoulder, making you jump slightly and look over to her. "Kagami, he's been standing here the whole time." Most of their eyes widened as they just noticed the (h/c) male standing with a camera.
"You do the same thing as Kuroko." Kagami said, making you look up to him. Riko clapped her hands, "Right. Get back to practice." The team nodded and went back to what they were doing. Riko pulled you aside and thanked you for coming in to take pictures. You nodded and said, "They wont notice me so I can get some good shots. After today I'll go through and pick out all the good ones and print them out for you guys to look at."
Riko smiled and ushered you to do your job which you gladly did.
Tumblr media
Practice had gone well, them playing a few 3 on 3's and you got some amazing shots. Someone who you liked to focus on though was the invisible bluenette who you have yet to meet. His passes were incredible. On top of that Kagami had crazy jumping power. You had several shots of him jumping by that point.
Riko called for a break and you sat down next to her to look at all the pictures you took. You deleted some of the blurry or messed up ones and kept looking through them. You heard a soft set of footsteps approach you and sit down next to you. You looked up to the male and smiled softly.
He seemed slightly surprised that you had acknowledged him but smiled softly back none the less. "Do you wanna look at some of these with me while you're on break?" You asked, moving the camera over so he could see them better. He didnt say anything and just nodded.
There were a lot of pictures that the two of you ended up looking through. The comfortable silence between you was broken when Riko called for everyone to get back to practice. You went back to taking pictures and soon enough, the time for practice had run out.
"I'll have a bunch of pictures for you guys to look at tomorrow." You said turning off the camera, letting it rest in its case. "Thank you again for doing this. If you ever want to come take pictures again, we have a practice game coming up soon." You nodded and bowed slightly. "I'll work it into the schedule. I still have other clubs to take pictures for but I'm sure I can go to that practice game."
You said placing your fist in your palm. "Awesome! I'll see you tomorrow." Riko said with a wave as you head off to your home. You decided to stop by Maji Burger to grab dinner and start transferring photos from your camera to your phone. You got what you usually got and decided to claim the corner booth.
A few minutes of you transferring photos and getting your food to eat, you noticed the same bluenette walk in. He seemed to have noticed you too which made you smile. A few more minutes passed when he came over to you and asked, "Is this seat taken." You shook your head and he sat down across from you. "Watching you play today was really incredible." You said looking up to him.
He was sipping on his milkshake as he shrugged. "Its just how I play. Since I cant do what the other guys do anyway." You smiled and paused the transfer. You picked up your camera and when he wasn't looking, snapped a picture of him drinking his milkshake. He heard the camera click and looked back over to you. You had a soft smile on you face as his cheeks lit up softly.
You went back to transferring pictures when suddenly Kagami set his stuff down and sat next to you, making you scoot closer to the wall. "Oh, I'm (Y/n) by the way." You said looking over to the bluenette. "Kuroko." He said gently. The red head nearly choked on his food when you spoke. "There was two of you here?" You and Kuroko both nodded.
"Its ok, he does that a lot." Kuroko said, scooting a little closer towards the inside of the booth. Kagami looked over your shoulder at the camera, seeing a picture of you practically underneath him while he was going in for a dunk. "When the hell did you get that picture?!" He asked loudly. You laughed, making your eyes close for a moment. "You were really into the 3 on 3 and that was what you needed to win."
You and Kagami chatted for a moment while Kuroko just stared at your smiling face. You glanced over to him which seemed to have caught him off guard cause he looked away with a soft flush on his face.
Almost an hour had passed of the three of you chatting about various topics when you looked down to your watch. "Ah, I have to head home. I have a photoshoot tomorrow morning." You said looking up to Kagami to let you out. He shockingly got the hint and stood up, allowing you to get your stuff and stand.
"I'll see you guys around. I'll be at the practice match so if we don't see each other before then, I'll see you there!" They both smiled, even if Kurokos was barely noticeable, and waved you off. You got about halfway down the block when you heard someone running behind you. You saw Kagami, full sprinting towards you. You decided to stop and step out of the way so he didn't run into you.
He stopped a few steps away, breathing a bit heavily. "You, forgot your wallet." He said holding it out to you. "T-thank you Kagami." You said taking it from him. He smiled and nodded, heading back to where he ran from. You noticed a slip of paper sticking out of your wallet.
Pulling it out it read:
You decided to shoot the number a quick text saying it was you and that you got the message. Said number confirmed it was Kuroko and you smiled as he sent another message.
xxx-xxx-xxxx
I would like to get to know you better.

(KnB) Argument Before The Game (Hurt/Comfort)
Taiga Kagami X Reader, Tetsuya Kuroko X Reader, Shintaro Midorima X Reader, Daiki Aomine X Reader, Atsushi Murasakibara X Reader, Seijuro Akaashi X Reader
Summary: You have a disagreement the day before a game but seeing that you still came to support them gives them the courage to apologise.
Taiga Kagami
You watched as he continued to practise long after the sun had gone down, even Kuroko had decided to go home at this point, he hadn’t eaten yet and he still had to get home “Hey Kags you ready to head home?” You asked.
“Not yet.” He answered as he's lined up another shot.
“But you know eating and sleeping are also an important part of training.” You reminded him.
“Don’t tell me how to train you don’t even play.” He snapped as he turned away from you, you didn’t say anything instead you picked up your bag and walked home without him.
The next day Kagami seemed more nervous than normal but Kuroko was the only one who noticed “what is wrong with you?” Kuroko asked.
“Huh?” Kagami grunted out the noise as he looked at the floor, Kuroko knew that there was definitely something wrong when he didn’t freak out about his sudden appearance.
“What is wrong with you?” He repeated the question and Kagami looked at him before sighing.
“I messed up yesterday, I snapped at (Y/N) I didn’t apologise, it just feels different knowing that she’s not going to be here,” Kagami admitted and Kuroko frowned.
“But she’s right there,” Kuroko informed him as he pointed to the stands, when Kagami looked up he saw that you were there but instead of looking over at him, you were scrolling through your phone with your friend sitting next to you, he could see that you were nodding along to something that she was saying and he looked over at the clock on the wall. “I’ll be back!” He vaguely heard the coach say something in protest but he didn’t care instead he wanted to get to you as quickly as possible, there was still time to fix this before the start of the game.
You heard the thundering footsteps come to a stop in front of you but you didn’t look up “What are you doing? The game is about the start.” You said as you continued to scroll.
“I haven’t had my good luck kiss yet.” He mumbled, he couldn’t see it due to the fact that he was too tall but there was a smile on your face now, you weren’t even sure that you were still angry.
“What do I know about good luck I don’t even play the game.” You grumbled back your petty response which enabled you to let go of the last of your anger.
“Baby I’m sorry, you know I didn’t mean that.” He apologised, he dropped to his knees resting his head against your lap as he clasped your wrists in his hands, teeth clenched as he hoped that this was enough. He felt you lift your hand out of his grip and then rest it on his head.
“You better win after talking to me like that.” You ordered and his eyes widened before he looked up at you, you pressed a kiss to his forehead “good luck.”
“Wait for me after the game.” He ordered.
“Only if you win.” You smiled as you ushered him back to the court to play the game.

Tetsuya Kuroko
Momoi clung to Tetsu like he was a lifeline and while your logical mind knew that they were just friends, your jealous one pointed out that she had a crush on him and knew him for way longer. Momoi was better suited to be his girlfriend and that made you curl in on yourself as you watched them practise. You didn’t talk about it until way later in the evening when everyone was heading home and you were finally alone “something’s wrong.” Tetsu said.
“What nothing is wrong.” You said softly as you continued walking.
“There is.” He pushed further and you looked at him, you had to tell him if there was any hope of sorting out the problem that you had.
“I… Just… Well, Momoi-”
“She’s just a friend.” Tetsu cut you off but that didn’t reassure you any.
“Fine but does she have to hang all over you like that?” You asked.
“What are you talking about?” He asked.
“She clings to you like some kind of lifeline, it just makes me a little uncomfortable.” You answered honestly and he blinked before he smiled.
“She’s just a friend, you’re being silly.” He said again, you were thankful for the fact that you were close to your house, you nodded as you hugged your bag closer to yourself and at the first chance escaped from the situation completely.
The next morning everyone was loading onto the bus, and everyone was ready to go “Hey Kuroko where’s (Y/N)?” Aida asked.
“She’s running late, she said she’d meet us at the stadium coach!” Kagami called out before Kuroko could answer, everyone, seemed to know that there was something wrong but no one spoke up until they were on the road.
“Everything okay Kuroko?” Aida asked.
“Yeah…” He answered a bit confused as to why she was asking him that.
“Everything okay with you and (Y/N)?” She asked and he frowned.
“Yeah.” He answered.
“Hm,” Kagami grunted next to him and he looked over and frowned.
“She was fine when I dropped her off yesterday,” Kuroko said.
“No she wasn’t.” Kagami finally spoke.
“What are you talking about?” Kuroko asked.
“She talked to you about Momoi right?” Kagami asked.
“I mean if someone was hanging off of my boyfriend like that I would talk to him too” Aida commented.
“Yeah we talked about it, I told her that we were just friends, that she was being silly,” Kuroko answered.
“Idiot!” Both Aida and Kagami said at the same time both landing a hit on the back of his head.
“How would you feel if it was her and Aomine? If I was (Y/N) I wouldn’t even come to the game,” Aida commented, Kuroko frowned and looked at Kagami who shrugged before going back to looking out the window.
Kuroko didn’t see you at the entrance to the stadium and he began to panic, if you weren’t there it would be the first game that he played without you there since you had started dating, he looked around but before long Tetsu 2 jumped out of his bag running off in the direction of a quieter part of the stadium, he heard you before he saw you but he was relieved all the same “hey little guy what are you doing here, how do they all keep managing to lose you?” You asked, he watched as you leaned down to pick him up.
“You’re here.” He sighed and you jumped as you looked up at him.
“I told Kags I would be.” You answered.
“I know but after I explained what happened Coach said that she wouldn’t come to the game if she was you and then you weren’t at the entrance where you were supposed to meet us.” He explained slightly panicked.
“I’m here.” You promised.
“I’m sorry, Coach made me realise that if Aomine was like that with you I’d be upset too.” He said and you looked at him “I won’t let Momoi do that to me anymore.”
“Thank you.” You smiled as he leaned in though you stopped. “Hey, aren’t you going to be late?”
“They won’t notice.” He dismissed.
“Tetsu! Come on we can catch up with the team if we run.” You smiled as you stood up putting your hand out to him and he took it but before you could start running he pulled you back to plant a small kiss on your lips. “We don’t have time for this!” You giggled as you turned and put Tetsu 2 back in his bag and grabbed his hand again pulling him with you as you tried to get to the court in time for his game.
Tumblr media
Shintaro Midorima
You felt bad for Takao that was the reason that you said anything in the first place, you didn’t think that it was fair that Midorima expected so much of him so one day when you were waiting for Takao to meet you both at the front gates of the school after another one of Midorima’s crazy requests you finally said something “do you think that maybe you could go a little easy on Takao?” You asked as you looked at him.
“What are you talking about?” He asked.
“All the things that you ask him to do, you know it's really not fair.” You said.
“How would you know anything about that?” He asked.
“Look all I’m saying is you both have a game to play tomorrow and he’s no good to you if he’s done half a mile of running to find whatever lucky item you asked for that day.” You explained your reasoning and he scoffed.
“No one asked for your opinion (L/N).” He finally said but before you could say anything else Takao appeared.
“Midorima that wasn’t very nice.” He said.
“Don’t worry about it Takao, I’m just gonna go, see you later.” You mumbled before walking away from them both.
Midorima realised how much he valued your presence and opinion in the 24 hours that you had been absent, you hadn’t spoken to him for the rest of the school day and when he text you to ask if you would be at the game you ignored the text, as he stood on the court, he frowned when he couldn’t see you in the crowd, he took to sulking after that but Takao didn’t let that happen for too long “I need to get me a girl like (Y/N) no matter what she’s still here to support you.” Takao said as he nudge Midorima in the ribs.
“What are you blabbering on about?” He asked in a flat tone and he pointed to the stands where you had just settled, Takao gave an excited wave and you waved back before mouthing good luck, though your eyes seemed to lose their light when they landed on Midorima he sighed there wasn’t much that he could do for now he just had to get through the game so that he could talk to you.
The problem was even when he was given the chance to talk to you he chickened out and Takao was left to fix it yet again. “Will you go and talk to her instead of watching her from across the restaurant your being creepy.” He informed him, and Midorima glared at him after processing what he had said.
“She doesn’t want to talk to me.” Midorima dismissed him.
“You realise that this is your fault so you have to fix it,” Takao said shovelling food into his mouth.
“What are you talking about?” Midorima asked again only half listening to what he had said.
“You can’t expect her to approach you after what you said.” Takao said, “look she’s almost finished you have to talk to her now or she’ll leave and it’ll be too late.”
“Aren’t you being a little dramatic?” Midorima asked.
“Aren’t you being a little complacent, you’ll lose her if you leave it like this.” He shrugged, Midorima looked at him for a second, he knew that he was right but he was scared that he was going to lose you anyway, finally he stood and walked over to the table that you were sitting alone at.
“(Y/N).” He greeted you and you looked at him.
“Midorima.” You muttered leaning your chin against your palm, you glanced up at him to see that he was frowning at the use of he second name. “Doesn’t feel good does it?”
“I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt you yesterday, I realised that I value you more than I could ever express and what I did was wrong, I know that I may still lose you but-”
“Lose me?” You asked. “This is a stupid fight, yes you hurt my feelings but I knew what I was getting into when I said yes to the first date. I just want to know that you know it’s wrong and that you’ll try not to do it again.”
“I promise.” He said as he sat in the booth opposite you taking your hand in his and pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles. “I’ll try.”
Tumblr media
Daiki Aomine
Momoi had asked you to go and get Aomine since as per usual he was skipping practise again and she figured that you were probably the only person that could get him there, you climbed to the roof where he always was “Dai.” You called out softly when you saw him laying on the roof as he usually was.
“What?” He asked glancing over at you for a second before pulling his arm over his eyes.
“You should probably go to practise.” You informed him as you sat on the edge of the roof by the ladder.
“Why would I do that?” He asked.
“Because I asked nicely.” You answered.
“Yeah, whatever.” He mumbled turning his back on you.
“Dai.” You called again.
“(Y/N) you're being really annoying right now, I’m really not in the mood.” He mumbled, the silence that followed unsettled him and when he turned to talk to you, you were gone, he hadn’t even heard you move, you were just gone. He swallowed as he settled back down but couldn't seem to fall asleep as he had originally intended.
Aomine would usually seek you out before the beginning of the game but he was informed by Momoi that you weren’t there, he looked around trying to catch a glimpse of you, he hoped that you were just running late. The truth of the matter was that you had decided that you were just going to show up late, you still wanted to be there even if he was being an ass, he just wasn’t going to get anything extra from you. You watched as he played like an animal and won over 100 points, his eyes connecting with yours on the last shot, your eyes widened as a smirk took over his face, you waited until the game ended and attempted to use a group of other spectators to hide but before you got far someone grabbed you around the waist pulling you back into them. “Where do you think your going?” Aomine asked as he rested his chin on your shoulder.
“You smell like sweat.” You grumbled trying to pull away from him.
“If I could trust you not to run off the moment I let go of you I’d have showered before I talked to you.” Aomine defended himself as he squeezed tighter “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean what I said yesterday, you were gone before I could apologise I turned around and you were gone.”
“You expected me to stay? You called me annoying.” You reminded him and he pressed his face against you shoulder.
“I didn’t think…”
“You didn’t think what?” You asked.
“I just didn’t think, I’m sorry please just give me a chance to fix it please.” He begged.
“Only if you stop wiping you sweat all over me and go shower.” You ordered.
“Alright but you better be here when I come back.” He said as he let go of you.
“No promises.” You mumbled as you walked over to the bench to wait for him.

Ryota Kise
Kasamatsu called you to try and get Kise to go home, the game was the following day but he wouldn’t leave the gym, he waited for you to show up before he left giving you a simple good luck before jogging off. You walked into the gym catching the ball on the rebound “you know you need to go home at some point.” You smiled as you passed the ball back to him but he only grunted at you before lining up the shot.
“Dammit!” He cursed when he missed again and you caught it again but you held it this time.
“You know you have to rest your leg if you want to play at your best.” You reminded him and he rolled his eyes.
“Give me the ball.” He ordered but you shook your head holding it behind your back. “Look I don’t need you to look after me! I know what I’m doing just leave me alone!” It took him a moment to register the shock on your face but it was a moment to long because you were too far out of his reach the basketball you were holding the only evidence that you were even there in the first place.
The next morning you sat for a long while deciding whether you were going to actually go to the game or not, it hadn’t actually been that long since the argument and you weren’t sure that he would even want you there, in the end you decided that you’d sit a little ways back in the hopes that if he didn’t want you there you wouldn’t bother him. Kise was trying to find you in the crowds but there was no sign of you “I shouldn’t help you but she’s over there you idiot.” Kasamatsu muttered as he gestured towards the back where he could just about see you.
“What is she doing all the way back there?” Kise muttered.
“You told her to leave you alone remember?” Kasamatsu reminded him while hitting him upside the head for the third time since Kise had told him what happened.
“Right.” He sighed. He managed to score the winning point and he looked up directly at you he pointed to you and mouthed the words ‘wait for me’ it took you a little while to work out what he said but waited for him all the same.
“Thank god you waited for me!” Kise basically cried as he squeezed the life out of you.
“You asked me to wait for you.” You reminded him.
“But you had every right to ignore me considering everything that I said.” He answered honestly “I’m really sorry.”
“It’s okay.” You said softly.
“No it’s not.” He denied “and I promise that it’ll never happen again.”
“You promise?” You asked.
“I promise.”  He nodded unwrapping his arms to take your hand “now let’s go get something to eat.”

Atsushi Murasakibara
Murasakibara was rarely yells or gets frustrated so most of your arguments come from the way that he speaks, this one built up and after a while “do you have to be so mean all the time?” You asked.
“What are you talking about?” He asked lollipop stick hanging out of his mouth as he looked down at you.
“Do you know how hurtful it is when your boyfriend is always saying that you stupid, or clingy or annoying?” You asked.
“(Y/N)-chin you know I didn’t mean it.” He whined as he threw the lollipop stick into the trash and tried to find some other snack that he could eat, he only looked up when he heard you sniffling, he froze before his eyes shifted up to you. “(Y/N)-”
“Don’t worry about it, I’ve got something to do I’ll see you later.” You said before rushing off.
“You messed up man.” Himuro muttered from his place on the bench where he was scrolling through his phone.
“Not helping.” He growled out before grabbing his bag and heading home to figure out what he was going to do.
You were sitting in your seat waiting for the game to start, you were scrolling through your phone Himuro tapped your shoulder “Think you can do me a favour?” He asked pointing down the bench where your boyfriend had checked out before the game even started.
“What’s wrong with him?” You asked.
“You cried and he couldn’t find you to fix it.” Himuro answered “now he’s so depressed he doesn’t even want to play but we kind of need him.”
“You’re lucky that an american accent is one of my favourite accents.” You mumbled as you stood up.
“I think I’m just lucky you love him.” He answered as he lead you down the the court.
You crouched in front of your boyfriend his height making it easy to duck under the towel that he had put over his head “You know as cute as it is to see my 6ft boyfriend hunched over with a towel over his head, I think they need you to win.” You whispered softly.
“What are you doing here?” He asked.
“Someone told me that you were looking for me so you could fix something.” You said softly.
“I’m sorry I never meant any of the things I said, I never even realised that I was hurting you, I never wanted to hurt you.” He confessed and you smiled leaning up to press a kiss to his nose.
“Promise to think about what you say from now on?” You asked.
“Mm.” He hummed.
“Well then win this game a quickly as you can so we can go get something to eat yeah?” You suggested.
“Yeah!” He cheered pressing a kiss to your lips before standing up to get ready for the match.
Tumblr media
Seijuro Akashi
You watched Akashi and the team as they practised, he was making them work pretty hard but given the fact that they’re match against Seirin tomorrow, you waved off the team as they all left ot go home for the day “They aren’t good enough.” He mumbled and you frowned.
“I thought they were doing pretty good.” You frowned.
“Of course you would say that.” He mumbled as he picked up his stuff.
“What do you mean?” You asked.
“You don’t know anything.” He reminded.
“What I know is your trying to make a replica of a team that shouldn’t have been possible to make in the first place!” You argued “you were a generation of miracles, you can’t recreate that!”
“Careful.” He warned and you looked at him and shook your head.
“They aren’t good enough because you comparing them to a miracle but I’m glad that you can’t remake that because you aren’t worthy of it.” You walked away from him not even realising that you had left your bag there.
On the day of the game you still showed up, you watched a cheered for the team where you needed to and he saw you the moment that he looked up but by the end of the game, you were gone and he knew that he wasn’t going to find you in the stadium so he had a shower got changed and headed back to his place to grab your bag before heading to your house to finally talk to you.
You heard knock on your door and assumed that it was your mum “come in!” You called but didn’t look up from the work on your desk.
“You left this yesterday.” Akashi said as he held up your bag, your eyes widened as you reached out for it.
“Thanks.” You mumbled softly as you took your phone out of the bag and put it on charge.
“I wanted to say something, you don’t have to say anything back, you just have to listen.” He said and you nodded. “I’m sorry for everything that I said yesterday, you were right, I wasn’t worthy of a team that good because I was scared of losing everything and then I did lose everything but the only thing that I really wanted to get back was you.”
“You didn’t lose me, you upset me.” You corrected.
“I hope that I never do that again.” He said as he walked up behind you and pressed a kiss to the top of your head “I’ll do anything to make it up to you my love.”
“Then help me finish this… I have no idea what I’m doing.” You admitted and he gave a soft chuckle before you both moved to the bed so that you could work through everything together.

Tetsu
Dodało mu to otuchy.
Jeśli kobieta miała duży biust, to nie widział nic złego w tym, by go podziwiać.
— Hmmm… — Niski pomruk wydobył się z jego gardła. — Co powiesz na jeden na jeden?
Był przekonany, że odmówi. Większość ludzi bała się z nim grać. Jeśli już go widziała, to powinna wyczuć porażkę. Lata ulicznej koszykówki zaszczepiły w nim dzikie instynkty. Rozwinął refleks do wręcz nadludzkiego poziomu.
A on ucieleśniał to podejście.
Miała prawdziwy talent do rzutów.
On jednak widział w jej oczach wolę walki.
Chciał spędzić z nią więcej czasu i lepiej poznać.
— Wpadnę kiedyś obejrzeć twój mecz — rzucił niby od niechcenia.
Powiedział to, skacząc do kosza.
To go zdziwiło. A z taką celnością drużyna z pewnością daleko by zaszła.
— Dlaczego?
— Mówiąc to, wróciła do gry.
— No co? Mówię prawdę!
Potrząsnęła głową i pokozłowała w stronę kosza.
Odgarnęła do tyłu sportowy kucyk.
To zwiastowało kłopoty.
Uderzyła go w ramię.
— No to widzimy się! — Odbiegła zadowolona.
***
Aomine w najlepsze wsuwał burgera i zajadał go frytkami. Chrupiąca bułka, soczyste mięso i jakieś niepotrzebne warzywne dodatki. Ten znajomy smak przywoływał wspomnienia. Do tego jeszcze wielka cola. Pociągnął przez wielką rurkę. Ciemny, zimny i słodki płyn buzował bąbelkami.
Ciemno i cicho.
Kiedyś, gdy tu przychodził, otaczał go gwar.
Czemu w ogóle to zrobił?
Zamarł z burgerem w połowie drogi do ust.
[Reader]. Przyjęła to do świadomości i byli naprawdę niezłymi przyjaciółmi.
A, gdy przeglądał telefon, śledził jej media społecznościowe.
Zostawił ją i Kuroko samych sobie. A potem też zwykłe spotkania i rozmowy. Zaniedbał to wszystko, co razem zbudowali.
Przerażało go, jak sentymentalnie brzmi.
Każdy kozioł, dwutakt, zwód i wsad przestały mieć sens.
Podczas gdy on się wypalił.
A więc naprawdę go rozumiała.
A potem trener złożył mu propozycję.
Chciał, by stała się wystarczająco silna. Spuścił więc wzrok, wracając do jedzenia.
— Zawsze możesz do mnie zadzwonić — dodała i z tymi słowami odeszła.
***
— Jeszcze raz, Tetsu!
Chłopak ponownie źle ustawił ręce. Aomine musiał podejść i je poprawić. Powinien wypchać piłkę sprzed klatki piersiowej, jeśli to miało zadziałać.
Jemu i Kagamiemu.
Rozpierało go szczęście. Koniec z leżeniem na dachu. Teraz wróci do treningu. A kiedy następnym razem spotka kogoś lepszego, wgniecie go w ziemię. Ponownie miał w życiu jakiś cel i to było wspaniałe.
— Mam do ciebie jeszcze jedną prośbę — oznajmił Kuroko, ponownie próbując trafić do kosza.
— Wycelował i rzucił ponownie.
— Przecież wiem. — Daiki ziewnął, oglądając kolejny raz jedno i to samo zagranie.
Ikonka kontaktu mrugała szybko i jasno.
— Tu Aomine.
— Hej, czemu dzwonisz z telefonu Tetsu? Coś się stało? Cicho, dziewczyny.
Albo zrobić to w lepszym momencie?
— Pytanie całkowicie zbiło go z tropu.

“Thanks for having us over Kagami-chi!”
“More like you guys crashed…”
“Hey, the more the merrier, right?” You chime in, trying to stop any chaos before it truly starts.
“Y/N-chi is right,” Kise says as he tosses his arm around your shoulder, smiling, while Kagami just shakes his head and goes behind the counter. “It’s a little reunion party, and you should be honored to be invited.”
“It’s my house!” He growls, but your laugh diffuses the irritation on his face.
“I think you’ve bothered our host enough, Ryouta,” Akashi finally steps in, killing any apprehension instantly.
“Is it my turn to bother Kagami then?” Aomine smirks as he asks the question, Kagami sending a glare across the kitchen.
“Just leave Kagami-kun alone,” Kuroko says as he steps up next to you.
“Thanks, Kuroko,” Kagami says.
“-He struggles at focusing on one task as it is, don’t make him talk at the same time. His brain can’t handle it.”
Everyone laughs at the deadpan roast, except for Kagami, who is ready to throw hands, and Kuroko, who’s confused as to why everyone found him so funny.
“What did I say that was so funny?” He asks, turning to you, wide-eyed.
You smile wide, brushing his shoulder, saying “It was a funny roast, and it’s even funnier that you didn’t mean for it to be a roast, either.”
He tilts his head in confusion, eyes still focused on you. You just shake your head and bump his shoulder before watching the rest of the group adjust to the flow of conversation.
“As long as I get food, I’ll leave you alone, Kaga-chin,” Murasakibara comments while munching on some chips he brought for himself.
“You’re all terrible,” Kagami says, shaking his head. “You’re getting hot chocolate, you got that?”
“That sounds delightful, thank you, Kagami-san,” Akashi responds. Kagami relaxes his eyebrows in response, starting to melt down some chocolate over the stove.
“You still need some marshmallows, right?” You ask. You and Kagami were the ones who’d been planning to have a hot chocolate hang out for a while, and you obviously invited Kuroko. But it last-minute coincided with a practice game the Generation of Miracles had arranged in Kanagawa, so here you all are now. Even though Kagami is pretending to give them a bit of a hard time, he really does enjoy hosting, and you are excited to be reunited with all your old classmates. You were the second manager for the team at the time, afterall.
Kagami shakes his head. “Yeah, if that’s-”
“Yeah, it’s fine. I’ll just go get them now,” you say.
“You’ll be okay in the cold?” Kuroko asks you.
“I’ll be fine, Tetsu-kun,” you say as you give him a reassuring smile. “I won’t be long.”
“Do you want me to come with you?” Kuroko asks again. He notices the eyes of Kise, Akashi, and Aomine watching carefully.
“It’s okay, you guys just enjoy here,” you wave as you toss your coat on and run out the door. The moment it shuts, Kise doesn’t hesitate to ask the question that’s on everyone’s mind.
“Kuroko-chi~ when did you get so protective of Y/N-chi?”
“What do you mean?” He asks, clueless.
“The way you were looking at them, and offering to help them out,” Midorima, who’d been silent up until now, elaborates.
“I don’t understand, I just wanted to be helpful,” Kuroko says, but now he’s a bit less certain if that was all it was.
“It’s not like this is new,” Aomine adds while fiddling with the salt and pepper shakers on the table, “Tetsu had a thing for them even back in middle school.”
“Did he do the thing where he stares at them with wide eyes until they look at him, and then he turns away and plays with his fingers?” Kagami asks Aomine.
“That’s specific, but something like that yeah,” Aomine responds.
“Wait, do I really do that, Kagami-kun?” Kuroko asks.
Akashi chimes in instead. “You do, Tetsuya. It was the same back then.” Akashi then turns to Kagami and says, “but I’m surprised you saw it.”
“I actually didn’t. Not at first. But then the coach pointed it out to me and my Senpais, and then I couldn’t unsee it, he does it all the time,” Kagami says.
Kuroko thinks his brain might explode. Aside from processing the fact that people had noticed him, they noticed him while he was looking at you? And this has been going on for years?! Going back to even the simplest fact though, he…he liked you? He’d never processed his feelings before.
“Oh no,” Kuroko says.
“...what,” Aomine is the first to ask what he means.
“I’m a terrible person,” Kuroko looks defeated as he sits down.
Midorima and Murasakibara exchange an unexpected confused glance.
“What do you mean, idiot,” Kagami asks, stirring slowly at the hot chocolate on the stove.
“The entire time I was helping them, it wasn’t just because I’m nice, but it was because I liked them and wanted them to like me.”
Akashi smiles a bit and Aomine rolls his eyes. “Shut it, you’re nicer than everyone here,” Aomine says.
“And just because you are nice to the person you like, it doesn’t mean you’re nice just because you like them,” Akashi adds.
“Kuro-chin, just make a move,” Murasakibara mutters as he gnaws on some beef jerky while giving Kuroko side eye. “Before it’s too late.”
“Too late?” Kuroko tilts his head.
“They may start dating someone else if you don’t ask them out first,” Akashi warns.
“Someone like me might swoop in and steal ‘em from you,” Kise jokes as he tosses his arm around Kuroko.
“Are you interested in Y/N, too?” Kuroko looks at Kise, and Kagami and Aomine look at each other hopelessly.
Kise bursts out in laughter. “They’re a cutie, but not quite my type. Plus, I think they already like someone else.”
Kuroko feels his heart drop. “Who?”
Murasakibara smacks Kuroko on the back. “It’s you, dumbass.”
“What?” This was all too much for Kuroko to handle learning in the span of 14 minutes. Not that the other boys cared. This was the first time they were all gathered like this in a long while, and the only time they’d be able to talk to Kuroko about you. They had to act fast.
“They told me a while ago,” Mura munches again. “I wasn’t supposed to tell you, but, eh.”
“What do you mean, ‘eh,’” Kagami’s face goes pale. “They’re gonna kill you.”
“If we don’t push it now, both of ‘em may die without doing shit. And we’ve waited for 5 years already. I’m impatient,” Aomine adds as he knocks back the first serving of hot chocolate that Kagami gave him to taste test.
“I’ll deal with the fallout later,” Akashi says, giving a slight bow as he accepts Kagami’s small cup of hot chocolate. “For now, let’s just sip hot chocolate and see where this goes.”
~~~
“We’re gonna kick your asses at the next tournament, I can guarantee it,” you growl at Aomine and Kise, who are both talking mad trash about beating Seirin. “Right?” you ask, elbowing Kagami and Kuroko who sit on either side of you on the couch. The rest of the group sits on the chairs and sofa organized around Kagami’s coffee table. You’d all migrated from the kitchen to the living room now that the hot chocolate was made.
“Oi, you’re gonna make me spill my hot chocolate,” Kagami whines, trying to sway the cup in his hand from side to side to match the swishes of the hot liquid.
“We’ve beaten you in every recent game, Kise-kun,” Kuroko states without too much consideration for the way it turns Kise’s face red. Aomine snickers, and Kagami tosses in a response about how he should expect defeat as well. The back and forths continue, with the others playing along.
“I’ll be right back, I’m going to get more hot chocolate,” you say to no one in particular, given that they’re all deeply immersed in conversation.
“I can get it for you,” you hear Kuroko say on your right.
“Awh, thank you, Tetsu-kun,” you extend your cup towards him. You smile with pure joy and completely miss the way his face dusts pink when his hand brushes against yours in the exchange. If you’d turned around, you woulda seen the way Akashi was watching with a small smile and how Kise nudged Midorima gently.
“So, Y/N, you got a man or what?” Aomine asks, putting his feet up on the table.
“Feet off,” Kagami instinctually comments.
“Woah, where is this coming from?” You’re not expecting the sudden topic shift.
“Deflecting?” Akashi curiously asks, slyly instigating.
“No no, but what’s with the sudden curiosity is all I want to know,” you blush as you look down, taken aback by the question.
You told Murasakibara, Kagami, Kise, and Akashi about your little crush a while back (moreso because Murasakibara was your best friend from middle school, Kise and Akashi figured it out quickly, and Kagami caught you lacking staring at Kuroko with a dopey grin on your face - effectively giving yourself away). You don’t mind telling Aomine and Midorima, but there was no way in hell you were going to do it with Kuroko around.
“If you wanna know about my personal life then maybe you should make an effort to hang out with me outside of the group,” you roll your eyes and shake your head jokingly, getting an exaggerated groan from Aomine. “Akashi makes an effort, and he lives so far away,” you continue.
“Don’t drag me into this, Y/N-chan,” Akashi scolds while gently sipping from his hot chocolate.
Kuroko enters the living room again, face red and eyes boring into the side of Aomine’s head.
“Here you go,” he squeaks, pretending like he didn’t hear the conversation that was just going on.
“Wait, how did you know-” you start saying, staring down at the cup. He put all the toppings on exactly as you would’ve. It even replicated the small smiley face you drew on with chocolate syrup.
“I saw what you put in your hot chocolate the first time,” he says shyly. As you turn to look directly at him, Kuroko nervously peaks over your shoulder to see the boys who are on the opposite side of the circle from him, who are now facing your back. Kagami smiles with a big thumbs up, while Kise hits Midorima’s shoulder like an excited school girl. That does nothing to help his nerves.
Akashi clears his throat. “I think we should start heading back soon. Kagami, would you like some help with cleaning up?”
“You don’t have to do that-”
“No, no, we insist! All of us outsiders can help out,” Kise chirps, hopping to his feet.
“I’ll pass-” Aomine starts saying until Murasakibara hits him on the back and pulls him up by his collar, bumping him with his chest and nodding to the kitchen.
“What the-” Kagami starts again while Akashi pats his back and gives him a look, telling him everything he needs to know.
Before you know it, you and Kuroko are now alone.
You both sit in silence for a moment, both nervous, both unsure of what to do next. But after a moment passes, you let out a laugh.
“What are you laughing at?” Kuroko asks again.
“It’s a bit late to be awkward with you, isn’t it,” is your only response.
He cocks his head in curiosity, unsure of where you’re going with this. You understand his wordless question perfectly. “We’ve been friends for years now. And you’re one of the guys I feel safest and most comfortable with. I’m too comfortable with you to justify being nervous when I’m alone with you.”
He doesn’t respond, but you see the way he relaxes into the chair a bit. He doesn’t need to respond. Silence is something you’re both well acquainted with.
You sip hot chocolate, content with the moment of peace you’re sharing with Kuroko.
“Y/N,” Kuroko sighs before calling your name with a sense of urgency heavy in his voice. Immediately, you turn to him, eyes wide.
You didn’t expect to see him staring right back, baby blue eyes sparkling at you. “Yes,” you ask quietly.
A moment passes.
“You have whipped cream on your face.”
You blink, taking a second to process what he said (the one thing you didn’t expect, actually), before blinking yourself back to reality, putting your head down and wiping your upper lip.
“Oh, my bad,” you say, only slightly embarrassed. Another moment of silence persists, but this time, you can’t help but feel like a bit of an idiot.
“I’ll go run our cups to the kitchen.” You stand up and grab his empty cup off the table, and you disappear into the kitchen before he can even get a word in, leaving him to bury his face in his hands hopelessly, his face burning as he realizes his mistake.
---
The walk back home is silent. Kuroko offered to walk you back home, since you both live so close and always walk together (have been doing so for like, 5 years). But what he didn’t anticipate was how heavy his chest would feel after the conversation on the couch.
The moment you’d stepped into the bathroom for a minute at Kagami’s place, Kise and Kagami jumped Kuroko, whisper-yelling at him for ‘fumbling the bag,’ as Kagami put it. What that actually meant, he had no idea.
“...so, that was fun.” You pull Kuroko out of his miserable thoughts by breaking the silence. The snow flakes falling from the sky are big, falling onto your feet as you walk through the empty but warmly lit streets, pressing the flakes into the ground. Surprisingly, the cold isn’t biting, but it’s chilly enough to turn both your faces red.
“It was,” is all Kuroko has to add.
You step closer, your shoulder bumping his arm, turning his gaze towards you. He sees you smiling from the way your cheeks lift and eyes crinkle, even though your lips and nose are covered by your scarf.
He recalls the point you said about how it’s ‘too late to be awkward with him,’ and it hits him that you really meant it, by the way you were looking at him right now.
You two had been friends for so long. And if he really likes you the way he thinks he does, he’s pretty certain that wouldn’t come between you both. And he also knows himself well enough to understand that, even if he didn’t know he had feelings for you till today (with the help of the other guys), he wouldn’t be able to go on without telling you. It would weigh too heavily on him.
And so as you both reach your gate, you turn to him again and smile once more. “I’ll see you Monday, then.” You turn to push open your gate, your hand latching onto the icy metal, when you feel a tug on your coat sleeve. You turn to see Kuroko pinching the fabric of your coat, his head dropped.
“Wait, there’s something I have to say.”
You freeze for a second, letting thick snowflakes fall around you both, the silence heavy in the air, before finally stepping to face him. You say nothing, but your eyes invite him to continue speaking.
“Do you remember when you had whipped cream on your face earlier today-”
“You don’t have to remind me,” you chuckle.
“There’s a reason I told you.”
“-?” you tilt your head curiously.
“Then, you didn’t let me finish what I wanted to say. I wanted to tell you that, that you looked cute then.” He can’t find it in himself to make eye contact with you right now. There’s just no way. “I didn’t mean to make you embarrassed, back then. You just looked so cute, with the whipped cream on your face and nose like that, and, I wanted to tell you so badly then…”
“Hey, you’re telling me now, right?” That counts for something,” you step closer, raising a hand to his arm, rubbing up and down to comfort him. “But, where are you going with this, Kuroko?” you whisper, gently asking him.
The snow soundlessly piles around your feet, the air heavy in anticipation of his answer.
“I…always, think you’re cute. Well, maybe, cute isn’t the word for how I see you most of the time. How should I put it…” he chews on his lip, his downcast eyes focusing as he scans his mind for the right word. As it hits him he turns to look up at you, unconscious of how you were a foot away from him, staring directly into your eyes.
“You’re beautiful.”
You’re silent. The world around you both is silent. It’s so silent that it all just fades away. The way your eyes shine at him, doe-like and shocked, staring up at him…
“I like you.” The wind is knocked out of him as those words escape your mouth.
“Wha-”
“I’ve liked you for forever, Tetsu-kun,” your yearning voice hits him in a way he doesn’t know how to describe. “Please just, just tell me if you like me back-”
“-I do!” he desperately cuts in, louder than he usually speaks. “That’s actually what I wanted to tell you right now, but I didn’t know how, but. I do. I like you, too.” His body jolts back as you jump onto him, leaping up to wrap your arms around his neck and pulling him down to your height, burying your face into the crook of his neck.
“Thank God,” you murmur.
As he hugs you back tightly, his arms firmly wrap around the middle of your back. He smiles as he presses his head over your shoulder. After a moment passes, you pull away smiling.
“So, uh,” he starts again.
“Will you be my boyfriend?” You ask without hesitation. “Sorry if that was forward,” you amend.
He smiles at you, with love bright in his eyes. “Yes.” He revels in the way your eyes dilate. “It’s my turn to be forward.”
“Oh?” you tease, pleased at the way he so quickly adjusts to your new established dynamic.
But then he enters your personal space, now only inches away, his figure looming over you. “I’m sorry if this is, too forward, but, back at the party…”
No matter how forward he plans to be, there’s no way Kuroko could ever find it in himself to say it outloud. It was something that maybe Aomine or Kise would say, but not him. But just because he wouldn’t say it, that didn’t stop his thoughts and wishes. It didn’t stop his thoughts from when he saw that whipped cream on your upper lip, ready to be swiped away.
You’re unsure of what Kuroko is going to say as he leans down, eying your scarf. He presses his forehead to yours, shifting his gaze back up to your eyes, before lowering it to your scarf again. And then, he hooks a finger around your scarf, tugging it down, to reveal your lips. Moments later, before you can process his movement, he touches his lips to yours. Quietly, in a whisper so low that you can barely even hear it in the dead of night, he asks, “Can I?”
Understanding his intentions now, you respond, “mhm,” and he wastes no time in putting his lips on yours. He’s not intense, not aggressive, not desperate in the way he kisses you. But he lets the momentary kiss freeze time, all his delicate adoration for you being expressed in a way he didn’t have the words for. After 15 seconds or so, he pulls away softly, a muted click indicating to you that your first kiss is over. His half lidded, dreamy eyes refocus abruptly, and he jolts back, his body stiffening. Did I really just kiss them? Oh, I, I really just-
“You just kissed me,” you say, pulling your scarf back up as the event finally processes, your cheeks redder than how the cold had left you.
“I know,” is all he says, because he has no idea what else he can say.
“You’re full of surprises, aren’t you,” you respond with a giggle, dropping your gaze and stepping forward, hiding your face against his chest.
“I guess I am.” He surprised himself, too.
“I’m excited for the rest of the surprises to come, though, Tetsu,” you chirp against his chest.
As his impulse fades and the emotional rollercoaster calms down, he gently pats your back, holding you in the position you’ve taken, with your face buried against his puffy coat.
“Thank you, Y/N.”
Notes:
-tell me how I wrote this for Kuroko but fell more in love with Akashi in the process?
-this took so long simply because its 3.5k words, no I didn't intend for this, I just enjoy writing their interactions too much.
-the gen of miracles + Kagami gc was blowing up that night after Kuroko sent a singular thumbs up emoji and provided no more explanation.
-you texted Akashi and Murasakibara to explain right away, but they didn't mind playing into the group chat's insanity for a while.
-Kagami spilled to the rest of Seirin the moment he found out, and all your senpais were gushing over you both for a whole month.
-Kuroko never told anyone he kissed you, and he has no intention of doing so, simply because he doesn't even have an explanation for it himself.
-Akashi, however, confronted you within the first 30 seconds of seeing you in person, asking if you'd kissed yet, and your blush gave away all the secrets he wanted to know.
-Akashi lives for tea. It's a personal fav headcanon of mine.
-Kuroko has indeed kissed you many more times after, each as loving as the last.
Skincare hcs with kagami and kuroko!
KAGAMI
- i think he wouldn’t mind at all
- this guy would let you put anything on his face
-  if there’s a scent that attracts his attention, he’ll immediately ask you what you are putting on his face, he’ll be curious about it!
- “Y/N, what are you putting on my face?”
- “Heh?! Why is a small bottle like that so expensive?”
- I also think he would stutter and be all flustered when you’re too near than usual to him.
- “O-oi, U-uhm, can you...” “What? Did I do anything wrong?” “N-no, I said, just continue to what you’re doing,”
- he may act all flustered at first but he’ll get used to it,
- might actually learn about skin care as he plays basketball since it’s his way of learning, so that next time, he can be the one to do your skincare next time.
 KUROKO
- Same with Kagami, i think he would not mind at all,
- But i also think his skin is sensitive? So it would be really hard for you to think if you should continue this,
- But he reassures you that it’s fine and he wants to try having a skincare session with you!
- He would politely ask you to not use those toners that has a burning feeling on the skin since he can’t really take it
- He would look like a baby for real! It makes you stare all the time at him
- “Y/N-kun,” “Y-yeah?” “You’re putting too much serum on my face…” “oops-”
- I think this boy is not so clueless about skincare
- I definitely think that he’ll immediately volunteer for him to do your skincare on you next !!
i am here — k. tetsuya
pairings: kuroko tetsuya x female reader
genre: angst, fluff, suggestive open ending.
words: 2.269 (i have no self control)
request: Anonymous said: May I request a one shot for Kuroko with a sprinkle of angst because she went out and got into trouble by getting drunk?? But it’s because she’s been insecure so he helps her understand that he loves her body so much and he will always, no matter what happens to it?? Maybe ends with suggestive themes or smut?? If not, then just ignore. But thanks for you blog!! You’re amazing!!!!
this is the third time this week you are sneaking out of your dormitory. the previous two times were not that great, at least according to your roommate and best friend sana. she did not approve of your late night adventures and refused your invitation to join when you asked her on the first day of your rebellious phase. she does not even understand why are you suddenly such good friends with ichika, because that girl is the epitome of ‘what can go wrong in life’.
but tonight was different, tonight sana offered by herself to go out with you because she cannot handle you coming back to your dorm room late at night, wasted and retching out your stomach’s content.
you could not be happier when sana asked to go with you. ichika is not exactly the type of person you get along with well but she is the only person who can get you inside these clubs on a school night. having sana there with you would mean you would have at least someone to talk to.
you were quick to get ready; a white lace shirt on top of your black bralette paired with a black pencil skirt which reached just halfway through your thighs accompanied with a slit at the right side. from sana’s detested look, you could tell she did not approve of the dress code but she was not one to dictate your clothing choices or your friends choices for the matter. she just wanted to make sure you were safe because your worried boyfriend had contacted her two days explaining how you have been ignoring him since a week now.
after she finished getting ready, the both of you climbed out of your first floor room using the pipeline which ran near your window. you jumped down on the grass bed of the garden when you had climbed down to a suitable distance. you landed on your feet, your knees crouched while the palms of your hands sustained the fall. you were about to get up when sana’s shaky descent caused her to fall on your back resulting in both of you falling on the ground as you both tried to muffle down your laughter in fear of drawing attention.
“get off me!” you whisper-yelled at her still unable to stop your giggle and sana was not doing that great either.
“i will have you know i am a model student not a model delinquent!” sana retorted laughing before getting off your figure and helping you up.
dusting off the grass from your skirt, you both headed towards the back entrance of the university.
︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶༉‧₊˚.
tetsu has been worried since the past few days due to your lack of reciprocity to his texts, you even missed the practice matches and he cannot make head or tail out of this. did he do something wrong? his eyebrows crinkled together as he tried to concentrate harder on what all he has done in the past month that might have ticked you off but honestly he cannot find anything. groaning, he held his head between his hands propped on his study table, his figure slacking on the chair.
kagami, his roommate, was lying on his bed reading a basketball magazine when tetsu’s soft groan caught his attention.
“she still has not replied?” kagami asked.
tetsu sighed, shaking his head a no.
“what did you do?”
“i don’t know! i mean i don’t remember if i have even done anything to get her angry. wait, i don’t know if she is angry or upset or sad or..,” he let another sigh, “i don’t know. i really wish she would talk to me.”
“then why are you waiting here? go over and talk to her.”
“now?” tetsu raised his head towards kagami, shooting him a confused look.
“yeah? you know her dorm room.”
“but it’s late kagami-kun, don’t think i will get entry.”
kagami face-palmed, his sweet naïve friend really has a lot to learn, “kuroko, you know you can just go through the back garden, it is directly connected to their windows.”
“oh, really?”
kagami nodded, “yep. now go get your sorry ass over there and talk to her.”
tetsu got to his feet at once, picking up his jacket hanging on the back of the chair before heading out of the room.
“dumbass,” kagami mumbled getting back to the manga in his hand that he hid under the basketball magazine.
tetsuya made his way through the back garden that connects the girl’s dormitory with the boys one. the iron gate was locked but it was so low, even tetsu could easily cross over it.
while getting down from the gate on the other side, his eyes fell towards your window where he saw two figures climbing out on the window sill. from his distance, he could not tell the faces apart so he started jogging closer.
‘are they intruders?’ tetsu thought, worry clouding his mind as he was ready to call the cops but on moving closer, he realized it was you and sana.
but why are you two climbing out the window so late at night? he watched as sana fell on you causing the two friends to erupt into laughter. tetsu could not help but chuckle at that himself, your smile was endearing like that, it always makes him giddy.
he watched quietly as you both got up and walked away towards the exit. a part of him wanted to talk to you, maybe even ask you where you were headed so late at night but he could not bring himself to interrupt in your happiness, what if you get upset again on seeing him?
sighing, tetsuya made his way back to his dorm.
“so fast?” kagami cooed on his friend’s dejected figure walking back into the room within seven minutes of his departure.
“she went out.”
“huh?” now it was kagami’s time get confused.
“yeah, she left with sana-kun.”
“where?”
“i don’t know, i did not talk to her, i just left.”
if beating a dent into your head with your palm was possible, kagami would have a huge dent on his forehead by now, “why did you not talk to her?!”
tetsu shrugged sitting back on his chair, “she seemed happy..”
“wha-” kagami started but stopped when he realized tetsuya was not done with his sentence.
“without me.. even happier.”
kagami sat up, “kuroko, you know that is not true. she loves you.”
tetsu nodded, “yeah.. i know. i am going for a walk.”
kagami sighed and nodded, “sure buddy.”
︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶༉‧₊˚.
sana stopped you from downing another drink, you were already wasted enough to be thinking straight and certainly enough to be walking straight.
“you will get sick!” she snatched the shot glass from you.
“no!! give it back,” you whined, pouting, “please. i will be a good girl. i want it.”
sana shook her head shooting you a glare before keeping it away, “i don’t know how i will get you back to hostel in this condition..” she trailed off searching for ichika but the latter was nowhere around.
you stood up to walk to the bar but tripped due to a misstep of your heel, landing you on your bum with a thud. sana was quick to help but you kept giggling and had lost control on your movements so you were heavier to lift.
“come on babe, you gotta work with me here,” sana mumbled under her breath trying to help you up but you kept giggling.
“fine. i give up,” sana stood up taking out her phone and dialed a number, “hey. sorry about calling so late but can you pick y/n up from ___ pub? thanks.”
︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶༉‧₊˚.
tetsuya rushed inside the pub, the fluorescent lights gave him a headache but his eyes were quick to search for you. on locating you, he hurried to your side.
“thank god,” sana exhaled on seeing him and stood up, “i will leave her with you then?”
tetsuya gave her a nod and leaned down beside you, “y/n-san?”
his voice brought you out of your reverie, his soft, gentle, sweet voice.
“tet-tetsu-kun? what are you doing here?” your hands involuntarily wrapped around his arms.
“i am here to take you back,” tetsu replied helping you up.
“bu-but i don’t understand, where am i?” you clutched your head as it threatened to explode. you were not in the wasted phase anymore and the hang over was dawning on you now. tetsu’s voice alone is enough to sober you up.
“you came to a pub with sana-kun, remember? you both sneaked out of the window,” tetsu replied to your queries all the while wrapping his jacket around your shoulders and getting a hold of your waist to help you walk.
you nodded as some of it came back to you, a small chuckle left you when you remembered sana crash landing on you but another realization wiped away that smile.
“how do you know?”
tetsu avoided eye contact and started walking with you on tow, “i-uh sana-kun told me.”
“no she did not. i heard what she said,” you looked at him, your eyes yearning to see his face. yeah, it has been too long since you saw his gentle features and it was your fault only.
tetsu walked you out of the pub and helped you inside a cab before getting on through the other door.
“tell me,” you urged him after he closed the door and told the driver the address.
“i came to see you and saw you sneaking out,” tetsu let out defeated, he can never say no to you.
“why? are you okay?” your hands were quick to do a quick checkup on him for any post-game injuries.
tetsu got a hold of your hands, holding them securely in his, his thumb grazing over the expanse of your skin, “i am. but are you?”
“wh-what?” you stuttered. so your actions are out to bite you in the ass.
“you are ignoring me since last week! you have not replied to my texts and i heard from sana-kun that you were drinking out every now and then. what happened, y/n? please tell me. i am worried.”
you bit your lip, your eyes trained at your feet, “i thought you did not want me.”
tetsu’s eye widened at that, “why would you think that way?”
“when momoi senpai came to visit your team last week, everyone kept gushing about her and how pretty she has grown.. and just.. you were also talking to her and she is your ex.”
“do you not want me to talk to her? i will not then.”
“no, i mean, i know she means no bad and you guys are only friends now but i cannot help feeling insecure when she practically has a figure of a sex goddess or something.”
tetsu eyed you unsure, “a sex goddess?”
“yeah, no i mean i am not saying she is not nice as a person, she is!”
“okay.. why are you feeling insecure?”
you were growing impatient with your boyfriend’s inability to understand some social situations, “i don’t know tetsu-kun but you never tell me anything. no matter how i dress up, i have never heard a compliment from you. i love you, i really do but i wish you were a bit more vocal,” you could feel your eyes tearing up.
tetsu pulled you flush against his chest, connecting his chin to your forehead, his hands brushing your hair, “i love you too, y/n-san and i think you are the most beautiful person i have ever laid my eyes on. your figure is perfect as it is and maybe that is why i am not so vocal about it. i got everything in you, found all my answers in you, saw all the beauty in you and somehow forgot to appreciate it. but yes, you are right. that is not how it works, i should be appreciating your efforts, your beauty, your grace, your smarts and of course; you. i love you and i never want you to feel anything negative about it. no one take me away from you and i will try my level best that no one steals you from me, although i would prefer if they don’t start fighting me but for you, i would fight them too,” you chuckled through your tears at that which were free falling at that point from his heart touching words. he continued on, “you are the only one for me, always and forever. know that i am always here for you, no matter the circumstances.” he finished with a kiss to your hairline.
you could not help but sob on his shirt, your fingers never leaving their grip of him, fearing he would just dissipate into thin air. throughout the rest of the ride, tetsuya kept reassuring you that he was going nowhere.
by the time the cab stopped in front of the university premises, you had composed yourself and got down as tetsu paid the driver.
“you know i was thinking..” tetsu trailed off, his hand in yours, your fingers intertwined as you both walked around the porch and headed towards the back garden.
“mhm?” you hummed, swinging your intertwined hands.
“maybe i should show you just how much i crave only your body.”
you stopped swinging your hands and stopped in your tracks at that, almost as if the beat of your heart also stopped, “sh-show me?”
tetsu nodded, leaning in to kiss you, his hands now wrapping themselves around your waist.
Your girl has started working in a clinic again so I will be a bit too busy to post my work. Lucky for me though I have some of the work I’ve been doing done. So I’ll post by the end of the day most likely or by the weekend.
