Marine Meat Monday!
POV: You are a very horny tech priest who works with Space Marines every day, and you've just made a very inappropriate joke.
OCs don't get as much attention, likes, or reblogs as known characters, but the idea was too good to pass up! The tech priest in question is Teslak. Clockwise starting from the bottom, we have Arimnestos of the Angels Vermillion, who has very unfortunate Warp mutation; Reihdquiell "Quill", a Blood Raven librarian, who usually appreciates a good joke; Galen, a Black Dragon apothecary, who has known Teslak for far too long to be shocked by his behavior; and Sajas, who's made a few too many mistakes to return to his chapter. (Sajas is my character, the rest belong to friends from an RP server. I'll tag them later, when I know how they want to be identified.)
This piece took so freaking long to do...but I think it's one of my best. Thanks to my best friend, who suggested the color scheme and helped with the poses!

"IGNORES ARMY CALL GOES TO DRINK BEER," Toronto Star. September 11, 1943. Page 32. --- George Danter Arrested When Poolrooms and Beverage Rooms Raided --- JAILED FOR MONTH ---- "A" Police Court, City Hall, Magistrate Browne Rounded up in raids on pools rooms and beverage rooms, George Danter, 33, charged with failing to report for military training within the time limit, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one month in jail. After the term he will be taken to military headquarters.
James Butler, enforcement officer, national selective service, told Magistrate Browne that accused was picked up in a beer parlor.
"When he was searched a notice for him to report on Sept. 8 for military training was found in his pocket. He told me that he knew that he was a delinquent and that his intentions were report but he went and drank beer," said Mr. Butler.
Abraham Gould, Molly Mitchell and Archie Buro, charged with failing to report to the N.S.S., although not notified, before March 15, were remanded until Monday. Bail for each was set at $500.
Vincent Russell and Matt Teslak, admitted assaulting R. Zoltanecky, and each was fined $10 or 10 days. Russell also admitted damaging a weighing machine and was fined an additional $10 or 10 days. Constables George Dennis and Janies Henry told the court that Russell put his fist through the scale and ran. "The owner, Zoltanecky, chased them to Trinity Park and was assaulted by the two accused," said Constable Henry.
In suggesting bail at $5,000 for Harry Franklin, charged with receiving a quantity of jewelry, the property of D. Goodman, knowing it to have been stolen, Crown Attorney W. O. Gibson told Magistrate Browne that jewelry valued at more than $1,000 was found in his possession. He was remanded until Sept. 15.
BAIL SET AT $2,000 ---- "C" Police Court, City Hall, Magistrate Gullen. After a charge of assaulting his wife had been dismissed against Alfred L. Stringer, the R.C.M.P. preferred a second count of making a false statement in an application for a gasoline ration book.
Accused's wife stated her injuries had been slight and all was well now in their home.
"I am instructed to ask for $3,000 bail." said Detective Sergeant W. H. Kelly, R.C.M.P.
"That is high bail," said Magistrate Gullen.
"I don't know anything about the charge and I can't raise that bail," said accused. "How can I prepare a defence?"
"Bail will be $2,000," said the court.

Elon Musk's tunneling company has permission to significantly expand its operations under the city of Las Vegas. Last month, the Las Vegas City Council voted unanimously to approve the Boring Company's plan to dig more tunnels under the city, following in the steps of Clark County, which in May gave a similar thumbs-up to the tunneling concern. The company's plan calls for 68 miles of tunnels and 81 stations, served by a fleet of Tesla electric vehicles, each able to carry three passengers at a time.
Despite the unanimous approval, Mayor Carolyn Goldman had a litany of concerns, including safety, low throughput of passengers, and a lack of accessibility. However, she said that "hotels are begging for transportation options."
The Boring Company owes its origin to a traffic jam that ensnared Musk in 2016. Incensed by having to sit behind other drivers, the billionaire decided the solution should be a network of private tunnels under cities, perhaps taking inspiration from Mad Magazine or the Usborne Book of the Future.
As is often the case, Musk's plans were fanciful, verging on the outlandish. The tunnels were originally planned to carry high-speed magnetically levitating trains in near-vacuum, a concept called the Hyperloop. In 2017, Musk even claimed that he had government approval to dig a tunnel between Washington, DC, and New York City and that the journey would take just 29 minutes.
The following year, Ars got its first experience of a Boring Company tunnel in person when we visited a 1.1-mile test tunnel in Los Angeles. By that time, any thoughts of maglev or even mass transit had evaporated. Instead of carrying lots of passengers at hundreds of miles an hour, a Tesla Model X was pressed into service, driving down the bumpy roadway at 45 mph.
True to form, Musk continued to drum up attention for his tunnels. In 2018, he convinced the city of Chicago to commission a tunnel between its downtown and O'Hare International Airport. This time, electric pods would carry 16 passengers through the tunnels at speeds of up to 125 mph every 30 seconds.
But the Boring Company's plans scaled back from maglev trains and vacuum tubes to high-speed electric pods and then to just regular Teslas with human drivers, and interest waned.
Except in Las Vegas. There, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority said yes to a $48.6 million, 2.2-mile loop underneath the convention center. In 2021, the LVCC Loop opened a 1.7-mile network with three stations; the Boring Company claims it has transported 1.15 million passengers, with a peak capacity of just 4,500 people per hour. For context, a subway system can be expected to carry between 600 and 1,000 people per train.
Should the Boring Company see this project through to completion, 60 of the stations would be in Clark County, mostly concentrated down the Strip and the major casinos, with the remaining 21 in the city of Las Vegas.
Mesélem a tegnapi akadályversenyünk:
Tumblr media
2. A Flixbus/Greyhound sofőrje a Barstow nevű porfészekben mindenkit lekergetett a buszról, magyarázkodás nélkül. Travolta is tanácstalan.

Aztán hirtelen a buszmegálló világítása is kikapcsolt. Véletlen ez? Aligha.
4. Útvonal újratervezés, átszálltunk a Deuce (!!!!) nevű járatra. Deuce =Balszerencse :))) Halló, van ott fent valaki?!!!! A busz a rejtélyes okok miatt a Las Vegas Strip ötsávról egy sávra szűkített útján 2 órát araszolt a dugóban. Közben vacogtunk (Ügyvédem: Tudtam! Tudtam, hogy nem kellett volna idejönnünk! Ez a Sin City! Megérdemeljük a fagyhalált)
Tumblr media
