✨Sheogorath🦋
Tumblr media
MAN I finally made a Sheogorath design that I didn’t hate
Some things to note:
His head floats and is the only fleshy thing about him
His body is an hourglass (make your jokes now) and counts down to the next Greymarch
His limbs are porcelain
Not sure yet if his butterfly wings are functional or just a cape
I just wanted to redo his staff design
Not intensely excited to redo those porcelain and suit patterns in the future but I’m happy with them now and that’s the biggest win :]
Sketch + Lineart below!

(For the sketch I just imported the porcelain designs from stock images as placeholders, but for the final piece they were drawn by hand)

That sad moment when you look up your favourite Oblivion mod to see why it isn't working and find out the mod's author was essentially bullied off of the internet 12 years ago...
I miss my pretty ponies ;( RIP Slof's Horses you were one of the best

Curse time zones!! I just woke up to see this!
Sweetheart looks WONDERFUL GOUGHHHHH. I wasn’t expecting this much action/motion to be portrayed and I am so pleasantly surprised by it! The crystalized detail in the Amulet is so so beautiful, the lighting is wonderful, and my BOYYYY!! You did him so much good, he looks perfect <33 I’m so so giddy ;w;
Thank you so much mukuuji!! Beautiful work as always :]
//I must add, I love love love the detail of him running at dawn. I’m noticing more and more the longer I look at it

You don't "play" a Bethesda game. You either install 400+ mods and then play it for ten hours and get bored, or you install 400+ mods and sink like 600 hours into it. Both of these then have a cooldown of between 6 - 12 months until you take either path again. I don't make the rules, that's just how it is.

This has been in my head for a while
And it’s true! Before you could become a priest, you had to go through monkhood to prove your dedication to your cause. Monasticism followed a very disciplined way of life, with some examples of this discipline being near-constant prayer, physical labor attending chapel grounds, and… the tonsure, or the Monk Cut.
Tonsures were made purposefully to look very silly and unattractive. A person’s hair was regarded with much more importance than it typically is today, and cutting it was usually frowned upon or undesired. To be tonsured in the name of God meant that you were willingly embarrassing yourself, in a sense, to show your dedication to God and to humble yourself in his name.
The fact that the haircut exists in TES implies the same connotations: publicly humiliating yourself before the Divines to show your dedication to them. It’s a symbol of great character from Martin, really, especially if you believe he was part of the Rose Cult beforehand. Trading his old, harmful life of beauty and pleasure to dedicate himself to humility and hard work? That’s rather neat :]
Too bad he looks silly /lh
After monkhood, clergy could grow their hair out once again. So, once Martin became a priest, he got his locks back.
Just something to think about
