#teru visits spirits and such to talk to mob

Tome would definitely start up Spirits and Such and drag Mob into it.
Like I believe that Tome, much like Reigen in canon, would have exited high school and immediately gotten a decent job. Sheād do well at whatever office job she landed in, but it would be so boring and soul sucking that sheād eventually leave to do her own thing.
Iām sure she wouldāve picked up some crazy jobs in the meantime. Probably first started with something like telepathy consultations, but without being a telepath herself, she couldnāt do too much. And then eventually sheād land on exorcisms and it stuck. So she made Spirits and Such, working odd spiritual jobs because itās her special interest and she can handle most of them just fine, thank you very much.
But at some point, she gets in over her head, and idk if it would be a chance meeting, or if she purposely called Mob up to help, but Mobās there to take care of it anyway. And after this job, she asks him to stick around.
He doesnāt want to. Of course, because he doesnāt have the same character development he gets in the show by being around Reigen, Mob grows up to be a lot more socially awkward with a strong dislike for his own powers. I feel like he wouldāve repressed them a lot specifically because he never learned to accept them, and he keeps to himself to avoid outbursts. He gets better when Ritsu eventually unlocks his powers, etc etc, but generally Mob wants to keep his head down and do his own thing.
But I think Mob wouldnāt be able to hold down an office job like he had hoped to. He wants to be a Normal Member Of Society, but his psychic powers (and problems) find a way into his life that eventually costs him his jobs.
It ends up being a combination of Mobās late bills piling up Tomeās incessant badgering that he finally agrees to be a contractor for more intense jobs, but before he knows it, heās basically a full time employee. (And I still believe that Mob would try to get any other normal job, but something chaotic always has to intervene which inevitably causes him to leave. Work as a waiter at a restaurant? An evil spirit comes through and trashes the whole place when Mobās the only one working. Bank greeter? Evil esper organization appears to recruit Mob, destroying half the building and getting him fired. So on and so forth.)
Tome was definitely the weird kid in school, so even if her and Mob werenāt in the same grade, they did have a sort of unspoken friendship that existed through middle and high school that kept them in contact as they both became adults.
Anyway, thatās my two cents on the matter.
as much as i love the new resurgence of ageswap partakers i have to put in my two cents: mob would not start the Spirits & Such agency
for starters, he would be good at it. i mean, he has psychic powers. heād be a legit psychic. part of the comedic value (and i guess plot value in general) is the psychic kid working for and believing a fraud who canāt even see spirits. you could argue heād do bad at the consultations part and thatās where my second point comes in
never in a million years would Mob ever start a career based on his psychic powers. he kind of rejected the idea of being a magician when ritsu suggested it. mostly because he lacked the charisma most magicians had. also i swear heās said that he doesnāt want to depend on his powers for any domestic task, so why would he start a psychic business.
one last nit-pick from me, if reigen was never around for mob when he needed him the most, i donāt think mob would beā¦ out in society? like the advice Reigen gave to him when he was ten was absolutely crucial and i doubt anyone else wouldāve said that to him. I personally believe mob would more or less be in serizawaās shoes. He hurts Ritsu, someone who he cares very deeply about, and without Reigens guidance, locks himself in his room. Whatever happens next, up for you to decide (cough cough i havenāt figured it out)
SO who runs the psychic business then? Who starts Spirits n Such? Well, who else doesnāt have psychic powers? who else wants to be involved in the supernatural? who else wants to do something with their life? Tome.
Tome Kurata starts Spirits n Such
#mob is still friends with teru too#and I believe that time would see teru as her competition and also as advertisement at the same time#teru visits spirits and such to talk to mob#congratulate him on holding a job for longer than three months#yāknow#and Tome is torn between wanting to ban teru from ever setting foot in Spirits & Such and wanting him to become their mascot#because teru is a popular tv psychic#and basically their rival#mp100#mp100 ageswap

What are your fave post-manga headcanons for Teru?
OOHHHH ok I have a few! tbh I usually donāt have a lot of hcs, but some that I really like for teru:
Iāve seen people talk abt this one a lot already, but I love the fact that heās found a passion for teaching! I think heād probably feel most fulfilled when heās encouraging or inspiring others, so I think that along with sticking around with the awakening lab, heād probably help grow the lab as well, reaching out to other esper kids and forming some sort of community
I also love the idea of him hanging out at spirits and such more, just like whenever heās bored or just for fun, bc I think for most of the series we see him in a complete 180 from his initial personality, with only glimpses of how difficult that must've been for him. So I like the idea that after the ???% confrontation, when he realizes that Mob is also average, then he becomes more relaxed and more comfortable in his own personality, and more comfortable with just hanging out at the office with everyone else
I want him and Tome to be besties
I also want him and Tsubomi to be besties
I like to think that he'd probably meet Tsubomi when she visits Mob sometimes, and it might be a little awkward at first, but I also like the idea of Tsubomi becoming more comfortable w/ herself after moving away, especially away from the pressure of being the school idol, so they realize pretty quickly that they have a lot in common actually (school idols who are actually weird as hell) and become bffs forever
I actually don't think he and Tome would get along that well at all at first, but eventually they're just both at Spirits and Such enough that they adopt a weird sibling dynamic anyway
I'm a firm believer in ADHD haver Teruki, I think he'd probably try to rope Mob and everyone else into whatever hyperfixation he's having at the time. They try to start a band at some point, but Mob has no rhythm, Reigen almost loses his hearing completely, Serizawa briefly considers asking for overtime pay, but everyone else has a Great Time.
I'm also a huge fan of the Teru + Shou besties agenda, but I haven't thought much abt how that happens yet
also I don't think he knows how to cook! he tries, esp once he starts working out seriously, but I don't think he's good at it!
#sorry this ended up being so long AHH#i just have so many thoughts abt him always!!#most of this can be summed up as teruki builds a community for himself :')#found family things u kno#hanazawa teruki#mp100#answered asks#scribefindegil

Champion (19/19): Calming if You Look at It Right
chamĀ·piĀ·on ā /ĖCHampÄÉn/
(n) - a person who fights or argues for a cause or on behalf of someone else
(v) - support the cause of; defend ā "I don't want these powers. They're too much."
Reigen said he would bear any burden too big for Mob.
For all that the whole incident with the Third Division was a mess, some good did come of it. Teru not only found a rival in Mob, but a strange aggressive friendship with Ritsu. That meant that, for all that Ritsu might gripe and complain about Teru hanging around, he secretly enjoyed his company. They were all friends, in their own way.
Muraki and Sakuraiāalong with a few other ex-Seventh Division Scarsādid eventually make their appointment and, for all that Reigen couldn't shake some of them calling him shishou, he at least got most of them on the right track to being a normal, healthy adult. Some of them still kept him up to date on their job applications and apartment hunting endeavorsāwhich was useful since Reigen was a reference for most of them and did a lot of finagling to make their resumes look desirable without lying too much about their experience.
Tsuchiya and Mukai would sometimes come by to hang out (read: pester Reigen and Dimple) but for all his over-the-top complaints about the visits, they were a welcome distraction and Tsuchiya made for an excellent deterrent for some of the more...troublesome customers.
Mob, for all that he had wanted to be 'normal, seemed perfectly content with how things were after the Third. In fact, he seemed more emotive than before, his outbursts fewer and more far between than they used to be. Something about being without his powers for as long as he was seemed to have made him understand them better. Sometimes, when Ritsu or Teru asked him, he would idly say something about them 'coming to an agreement', whatever that meant. Only Reigen seemed to understand the personification Mob was doing and even he brushed off any questions directed towards him.
While it took a couple days for everyone to recover from the whole debacleāReigen himself was particularly sore (and also there were the many talks between him, his neighbors, and their landlord about the 'faulty gas line' that exploded half their complex)āeverything managed to finally settle back in their prior groove. The only scarce differences between before the Third and after were exactly who was helping Reigen out with the actual exorcisms and psychic parts of Spirits and Such. Mob still came by most days when he didn't have the Body Improvement Club, Teru filling in for him on those days and sometimes even doubling up so Reigen didn't even have to do his usual showy spiel, but also Ritsu would come by from time to timeāunder the guise of 'checking up on his brother and his fraud of a shishou'āto aid in exorcisms, purifications, or just assisting Mob with his homework.
Spirits and Such had never been so full before and, for all that Reigen would complain about the lack of privacy, he secretly appreciated the company. Even Dimple.

slams my fists on the ground. please post the paragraphs of character meta for your dnd au
Hi Anon! More than happy to oblige, rest of the characters are after the read more.
Reigen
Reigen is a rogue with a 1 level dip into Bard. I picked Swashbuckler because, letās be honest, Reigen is all about 1v1 confrontations when he actually fights. Plus, with abilities that use your charisma against enemies to give yourself the upper hand - it suits him perfectly. The Bard multiclass is mostly for the use of inspiration die. Even in a high magic setting, Reigen shouldnāt rely much on magical aptitude. Being Rogue and a Half-Elf allows for a lot of skill proficiencies. Reigen focuses on Cha and Dex based skills, and probably has proficiency in insight given how good he is at reading people.
Adapting Reigen as a character is fairly straightforward too. Heās a Half-Elf, and estranged from the Elven (Motherās side) of his family. He actually has very little working knowledge of his Elven and Fey heritage, but is able to bluff and embellish this heritage as a selling point for his services as the founder of the Spirits and Such Adventuring Company. Seasoning City is a majority human settlement, so his grandiose nature and charisma makes drumming up business simple.
Heās still a con-man by nature, and embellishes the causes of peopleās problems that he solves. A tavernās stores and ales mysteriously disappearing? Oh, the work of hungry and drunken spirits - make sure to leave an offering weekly at this shrine I have set up for you. When in reality itās some goblins or kobolds that have dug a tunnel into the storerooms. That sort of thing, he still will always prefer to talk/negotiate a solution before violence.
Mob and Ritsu (+Dimple):
As a side note, I originally wanted to make all Espers sorcerers In this AU because that thematically fits with how Espers work originally. But for the sake of storytelling/party diversity, gonna play around a bit.
Mob is a Wild Magic Sorcerer. Since he already is a wellspring of chaotic energy that is at the risk of surging into strange outbursts at the drop of a hat. Wild Magic is a fun subclass, but often the surges donāt proc frequently enough - so in the hypothetical DM seat I would probably make them happen more often, and maybe make a custom table of results related to emotions. So in this setting Mobās Wild Magic Surges are tied to emotions as well as random chance.Ā
Both Mob and Ritsu are Tieflings, born of human parents. The Kageyamas donāt mind at all, they love their sons and are entirely nonplussed about the whole thing really. Mob, even as a Tiefling, is unremarkable in appearance. Small nubby horns, no tail, slate-blue skin. Ritsu has more impressive horns.
This is what brings Mob to Reigen, much like the source material. Reigenās embellishment of his Fey ancestry and own limited skills in Magic, makes Mob reach out to him to learn how to control his own powers.Ā
Ritsu is a Warlock, making a pact with the āEvil Spiritā (Fiend) Ekubo. The motivation is primarily the same as the source material, driven by the feelings of fear, self-loathing and jealousy of his brotherās powers. In exchange for helping awaken Ritsuā abilities and lend him some of his own Power, Dimple gets to chill and try to manipulate Ritsu/Mob like he usually does. I picked Pact of the Chain because having Dimple as both Ritsuās familiar (probably using the Quasit stat block) and the patron of the pact is hilarious and in character.Ā
Serizawa (And Claw):
Claw in this setting is Tiamat/Dragon Cult run by Touichirou. Who is a polymorphed Red Dragon, masquerading as a human Wizard until the time to strike. Because....Ā with the name Claw and the obsession with world domination and ruling commoners, itās too easy. It writes itself. Claw still functions as the initial primary antagonists, terrorizing Seasoning City and the surrounding kingdoms.Ā
The Ultimate 5 would be collection of Half-Dragon lieutenants working under Touichirou:
Shibata - White (physical fighter, likes to hunt, not the brightest)
Shimazaki - Black (Smart, sadistic, enjoys playing with his enemies)
Minegishi - Green (Cunning, happy to manipulate others (plants) to do their work for them)
Hatori - BlueĀ (.....electricity)Ā
Serizawa - Gold (Odd one out, gentle when removed from manipulation/delusion, very powerful)
This is where things get a little tricky, because in a campaign I would stat Serizawa as the NPC/Antagonist that he originally was. But the half-dragon stat block is not balanced or meant to be used for PCs.
So with the intention of using player character options as a base, thatās how we get Variant Human Draconic Sorcerer (Gold) for Serizawa. Just with some very very very obvious Draconic bloodline features. Sorcerer fits well, since Serizawa functions as a foil to Mob in many ways. Being a variant human means access to a free feat, and picking Elemental Adept (Fire) goes great with the fire aligned Gold Draconic Sorcerer. Serizawa is a blaster who hits hard and ignores resistances.
Backstory beats are the same: fear of himself, his powers, and hurting others again caused him to lock himself away until Touichirou comes knocking. He is manipulated by Claw and further sinks into delusions about his ārehabilitation/reintegrationā to justify the acts of terrors he commits in Clawās name. After the World Domination Arc he joins the Spirits and Such Adventuring Company as a repentant dragon cultist (with the Sorcerer stat block), and seeks to help others with his powers.
Tome:
Tome is a friend of Mobās and comes to idolize the adventuring work he does, and eventually Reigen. Artificers are basically the conspiracy theorists of the DnD world, and their abilities allow them to replicate thieves tools (Tome wishing to be like Reigen) and Alchemist allows for the throwing of potions (replicating the Salt Splash). Tome has an obsession with the extraplanar realms and spends her time trying to create something that will allow her to contact/visit them.Ā
So thatās a whole bunch of ideas I have bouncing around at the moment for this, I do have some concepts for Teru (either Tempest Cleric or Divine Soul Sorcerer), Shou (Draconic Sorcerer or Wildfire Druid UA) and some more characters as well. Thanks for asking about it anon!

Random Rambles ft. Cat Cafe AU
So, my braincell is screaming out ideas left and right, it's about Cat Cafe AU and Among Us AU but Cat Cafe AU was screaming louder-
- Mob and Tome own Spirits and Such after Reigen and Serizawa retire
- They're still doing regular walk-ins and stuff.
> Mob handles the exorcism stuff and also does counseling when clients need it
> Tome is basically Reigen but with her own style and knows how to bs her way against an unwanted client
- Okay, the origin of the cafe is when Mob and Tome are closing up for the day and the landlord of the building asks them if they know anyone who would be interested with the available space down stairs
- Since they're both okay with the guy they tell him they'll ask their acquaintances or something
- While they're walking back to their shared apartment (they're best friends and rent is expensive), they see a box full of cats
ā¢ Tome: *sees cats* MOB! LOOK!!
ā¢ Mob: *crouches down to see the cats closer* Aww, I think they're a family Tome
ā¢ Tome: You think? They are a family Mob! A cute ass family!
> Tome loves cats just like Mob
> They look for and feed strays on weekends
- Both Mob and Tome are just gushing about the cats, petting them and stuff
- After at least a solid half hour of them just adoring the adorable strays they're both happy, smiling dorks
ā¢ Mob: I really want to bring these guys back to the apartment...
ā¢ Tome: Then let's bring them!
ā¢ Mob: We can't though, the family's too big and our landlord doesn't allow pets, remember?
ā¢ Tome: Shit- But I don't want to leave them :(
ā¢ Mob: We can come take care of them this Saturday
ā¢ Tome: That's too fucking long Mob!
ā¢ Mob: *sighs* I know... Maybe if we had a cat center or cafe maybe we could take them in...
- Something clicks in Tome's brain
ā¢ Tome: :0
ā¢ Tome: Mob you absolute genius!
ā¢ Mob:
ā¢ Mob: what?
- The next day they talk to the landlord about animal policies and about renting the space down stairs
- Since the landlord is okay with animals as long as they don't cause lawsuits with anyone and gives them a discount (at least 25%, though Tome tried for 30%) on the space since they're already renting
- And before they know it they're already applying for a loan
- Luckily since Tome and Mob learned a lot from Reigen, they manage to get a few items cheaper
- They take in the cat fam during the process of making the cafe
> Mob named four cats Mochi, Strawberry Milk, Cheesecake, and Matcha
> Tome named three cats Momo, Andromeda, and Aries
- After months of fruitful labor they finally open it up
> They both take turns at the register
> Mob is the one to make the meals and pastries (I firmly believe in the headcanon Mob is great in the kitchen) while Tome does the drinks and serving
- The cafe gets some good traction for the first week and Spirits and Such is still getting clients and appointments like always
- Since they're still accepting walk-ins they both take turns depending on the reason why the client is there
> Like Mob deals with counseling and Tome handles massages
- Sooner or later they start to need extra help since they have two businesses running so they call up their friends
- Takenaka is a frequent one working at the cafe but he only comes in during slow days when Mob and Tome do more field work
> Sometimes the rest of the old Telepathy club come to work at the cafe
> Also, the Body Improvement club help with moving supplies into the storage room
- Teru, Ritsu and Shou comes on the busier days since they need all the help they could get and they still have to deal with the appointments
- At some point Tome and Mob find a cat in a salt box and their immediate reaction is;
ā¢ Both:
ā¢ Both: Reigen
- They take in the cat and show it to human Reigen and Serizawa when they come to visit
ā¢ Reigen: *petting the cat* What's his name?
ā¢ Tome: *serving them their drinks* Reigen
ā¢ Reigen: What
ā¢ Mob: *from the kitchen* We found him in a salt box
ā¢ Reigen:
ā¢ Serizawa: ... I mean... He does look like you...
- Also, Ritsu has a wanted poster on the cafe's bulletin that says "Spoon Bender: Do not let in the kitchen"
> The picture of Ritsu came from Shou
> Mob made the poster after Tome complained for the 40th time about Ritsu bending the spoons
I'm very sorry for this huge block of text that is my rambling
#mp100#mob psycho 100#long post#cat cafe au#i rambled about this on discord but it was more than the word limit#it couldnt send so#i rambled this to my friend who is yet to reply#tome and mob friendship is important#but they could get romantic subplots since ya know#its a cafe au#i might do this for the among us au too#but seriously#we lack in cat cafe fics

afterlife
ship: background terumob and ritshou, implied seirei
genre: angst with a bittersweet ending
prompt: mob tries to cope with death and learns he's really bad at it
notes: autistic mob is canon because im autistic and i said so
--
Reigen was always good at reading people, me particularly.
He was better than Ritsu, who had lived his whole life around me, and better than Teru, who was arguably horrible at the task.
Reigen knew me better than anyone I knew.Ā
He could tell what percentage I was at before I could even spill the numbers.
Even though he was never as great as he said, and I had known he was a fraud for years, I do believe that somewhere deep down, Reigen did have an ability.
Reigen passed the year after I graduated high school, so I guess we'll never really know.
It was a couple months ago, but I'm still not strong enough to talk about it.
I'm struggling to live as an adult without him.
There's no one who can really understand my situation as much as he did.
Even though I love Ritsu and Teru dearly, and they're working hard to get in the level Reigen was once, they'll never be Reigen.
I'm never going to have a person like that again.
ā¦ Probably.
Before he passed, I used to text him when I was starting to get overwhelmed, about to meltdown, and he'd help me ground myself, keep it under wraps.
Sometimes he'd call, he had a comforting voice.
I find myself still texting his old number, I'm sure it goes to some random person now who didn't even know who Reigen was, but that doesn't stop me.
I apologize a lot in those messages.
Partially because it was my fault he passed.
Partially because I feel bad for dumping all my emotional baggage on the person actually receiving these.
I vent about my day, I scroll up and read our old conversations, I take pictures of things that remind me of him and send them.
ā¦ Part of me is half expecting him to respond.
Part of me is hoping he's gonna text back and sayĀ "Aw, what a cute puppy, Mob! Be sure to give it lots of pets for me!"
And then he doesn't.
I had a meltdown at his funeral, it was embarrassing.
Dimple didn't know what to do with me, Ritsu was trying to get everyone to settle down.
Teru tried to comfort me from afar.
I cried a lot that day.
I couldn't leave the house for weeks.
I got fired from my job because I hadn't come into work so long.
I stayed home alone, constantly at my limit.
100% loneliness.
100% sadness.
100%Ā mourning.
I think the stages of grief work differently for me, I never had a denial, bargaining, or anger stage.
I jumped right into depression, head first.
I'm working my way out of it, though.
Reigen had no living family, but he had put me in his will, so I had gotten most of everything he ever owned. Ritsu tried to get me to get rid of it, but I was already attached to most of it.
So I kept most of his belongings.
Teru wasn't mad when most of our apartment was cluttered with Reigen's stuff, and I was stuck in the middle of the apartment, desperately trying to cope.
He organized it, framed pictures and put away books.
I still couldn't cope. But he insisted that was okay.
I readjusted my routine, trying to keep my lost father figure as far from my mind as possible, but he still forced his way in.
Today, Dimple insisted that I visit Reigen's grave for the first time in months. Ritsu said it was a bad idea, that it would only awaken more grieving, butā¦ Maybe it could be the closure I needed.
The train was loud, so I had worn my ear defenders, and sat close to the window while I waited for my stop.
I felt like a middle schooler again, on my way to the Spirit and Consultation Office after school.
I wasn't, but it was a nice warm feeling to be reminded of.Ā
My stop came along, and I hopped off the train and headed towards the graveyard. It was autumn, the wind had just gotten chilly and the leaves started to fall. I slipped off my ear defenders and continued walking.
"Dimple," I asked, "Were you everā¦ Human? Or were you just always a spirit?"
Dimple looked back at me, I'm sure if he had shoulders he would shrug, "Don't really know, Shigeo. I've been like this for as long as I can remember, so I doubt I was ever human. Why?"
I looked down towards the ground, shoving my hands in my pockets, "Maybeā¦ I've been too consumed by grief to think about this before, but I'm wondering if maybeā¦ Reigen is a spirit now."
"Don't get your hopes up."
"I know butā¦ It'd be a nice thought. To actually talk to him again instead of justā¦ texting his old number like he's still there."
"Maybe so, but would it really feel any better to know he's stuck here instead of going into the afterlife?"
I fell silent again, Dimple might've been right, maybe I was selfish for wanting that.
I don't like the idea of him being stuck here forever.
What if he asks me to exorcise him? Would I be able to do it?
Would Iā¦ be able to live with killing him twice?
"Don't think about it too much, kid," Dimple reassured, "Think about something else, likeā¦ Oh, Serizawa's coming to town soon, isn't he?"
I nodded, "He is, he's going to take over the business, and probably move up here. He left to visit family for awhileā¦ the grief was too much for him."
"And your brother is getting married soon, right?"
"I think soā¦ I hope he and Shou don't feel like Teru and I are pressuring him since we're already marriedā¦ Teru and I have just been together since middle school."
"Ah, I'm sure he doesn't feel like that, hey look! We're there," Dimple replied.
I looked up at the entry way gate, and headed on in.
I could feel the presence of many spirits, most of which were good meaning, as I moved down the aisles. I remembered which one was Reigen's, I'm not quite sure why I memorized that, as I came across the gravestone.
Reigen Arataka
1993-2025
A father to all,
A lover to one.
I remember Serizawa picking out that inscription, he confronted me about it before confirming it.
It was the first thing to make me smile during the week of Reigen's death.
I took a breath, looking down at the grave, and then getting on my knees.
The ground was cold, and I felt no presence here.
"Reigenā¦" I started, trying to collect myself, "I'm really sorry. Aboutā¦ everything. About the fight I got you involved in, the people I got you involved in with, not taking over the business like you wantedā¦ I'm really sorry about that one, I should've done it, but it feels soā¦ soā¦Ā emptyĀ without youā¦ Serizawa said he was gonna take it, though. I know he's gonna take good care of it, I'll work under him, too. Maybe somedayā¦ I'll let go enough to be able to do it? I don't knowā¦"
I balled up the fabric of my jeans into my hands, trying to keep it together.
"I've been texting your old number, I'm having such a hard time living without youā¦ I love Ritsu, and Teru, and Dimple butā¦ I don't think there's a person in the world who could get me quite as well as you did. You taught me a lot of things, I'm not sure if I'd be the same person without you. Teru, as patient as he is, is probably tired of my mourning and constant depression. I had a meltdown at your funeral, I'm sorry about that, too, it was really embarrassingā¦"
I fell silent again, biting my tongue.
"I thinkā¦ I'm happy about the moments we spent together, though. There could've been so much more, you died so young, but the ones we hadā¦ they make me pretty happy. A part of me, though, has been thinking about you on the afterlife. Wondering if you're a spirit and wonderingā¦ how muchĀ damageĀ I can do with my powers. It was my fault you passed, my fault that many people passed and now I'm wonderingā¦ am I really a good person? Am I doing good enough? Will I everā¦ live up to what you thought of me?"
There's silence in the air as I feel the emotions build up once again.
75%.
"I'm really nothing without you, I'm so annoying to everyone because you're all I can talk about. I can't remember the last time I saw my parents, Serizawa left town for awhile, Teru's coping by overworking himself and here I am, crying to someone who isn't here anymore and can't do anything to help. Here I am, texting a dead person and still praying they'll text back andā¦ Andā¦ I'm justā¦"
93%.
"I'm just soā¦Ā fucking lonely, Reigen, I'm soĀ fucking lonely."
There isn't a response. But I expected that. Nothing but the wind as I still pray to hear a familiar voice.
Just one more time, please.
Just one more hug.
"Hey, Mob!"
I lift my head up, and I'm met with a ghostly figure of someone I once knew.
"Still venting to me from the afterlife, huh?"

some boring post world domination arc headcanons
despite being mostly reaclimated and readjusted to society, serizawa still goes to reigen to get his hair cut
Shou keeps in contact with touchirou to the best of his ability. Heās definitely still upset with him, but a belated leaf turn is still something.
Mobs nose is slightly crooked from his fight with touichirou. He thought it was ugly until the body improvement club told him it made him look more āmachoā
Shou stops using his powers around mob completely. but he uses them to prank ritsu when heās in town bc ritsu sometimes forgets heās an esper.
Teru couch surfs between the kageyama house and reigens place among others while he waits for his apartment to be fixed/find a new place. He still does this after.
Teru still talks to the esper lab kids from time to time, but not often. Mostly just to check up on them out of habit.
Reigen tries to pick up hobbies outside of spirits and such. Heās writing his memoirs under the guise of short stories. He tries to keep himself from over embellished as hard as that is. He isnāt sure heāll ever publish them or if he even wants to.
Serizawa rekindles his relationship with his family, especially his mother. He visits as often as he can. Sheās proud of him, heād always been a late bloomer anyways.
Tsuchiya has opened a small gym to support herself and Mukai, who she is working on getting formal custody of. Sakurai and koyama come around every so often. Anyone who asks tsuchiya about them will be told theyāre relatives, but not much else.
shizamaki still wreaks a bit of havoc, but never in seasoning city.
Minegishi, in part of his effort to stay out of trouble, adopts a cat (maybe a few) to keep himself somewhat occupied. He grows catnip for them himself.

WASNT THAT ONE FIC PAINFUL ENOUGH
No. No it wasnāt.Ā
I have Ideas for possible sequel stories to A Little Tragedy.
Here is a quick rundown of the ideas that I talked through with @mustdang-100ā, @sandflakedrawsā, and @ofpaintedflowersā.
Spoilers for future stories under the cut:
there's also more to this ending that i haven't put inĀ
Ā Like the fact that Reigen writes his own obituary when he realizes his memory is going
Or the fight he and mob have because mob wants to take care of him but Reigen doesn't want to burden himĀ
Or that Ritsu visits on the days that mob can't come and only when he's sure that Reigen's not going to remember it does Ritsu thank him sincerely for saving his brotherĀ
I imagine there's a point where Mob is legitimately afraid that Reigen is going to jump off a bridge because he's depressed out of his mind and feels like he's a burden on everybody
another note is that this isn't even like a parent-child relationship because there's only a 14 year gap between reigen and mob. and I put reigen at like. 76-79 when this is going down, which means Mob is in his 60s
I don't have anything particularly settled for what Mob's future life is like, beyond his marriage to Teru. Ā Whatever he was doing, though, I suspect that he offered to up and retire (he would've been around the right age) to look after Reigen when things started getting really bad
which is where they started fighting was because Reigen didn't want Mob to drastically change his life to take care of him.
Also Reigen stubbornly insisting that he's fine
And...things get legitimately worrisome for Mob after a while. Eventually though, Reigen agrees to let Mob arrange for teh care facility (and probably gives Mob the power of attorney for his health decisions)
Reigen's stipulation on that and also his Ā living will probably states that he's not to be hooked up to any life-sustaining equipment
Reigen also probably suffers from a few major break downs along the way though, because he's always been so proud of his bright mind, and so he's got to deal with this crushing feeling of uselessness and also the fear of what he'll forget next.
In the later stages though, where he starts losing entire years, he calms down a lot and is relatively at peace for most of his life, even though the days where he's especially clear are actually harder sometimes, because it makes him sad to see how much he doesn't remember/is missing
On Reigenās Death:
there's definitely a scene where mob is following his final wishes to have a small funeral because to his dying day reigen was convinced that nobody but mob and a couple others would be coming, and instead people show up in DROVES
like, all the claw flunkies, a lot of his regular clients, a lot of the scars, etc...
mob is pretty certain that reigen won't linger as a spirit. because despite feeling that way about himself, he's actually...satisfied with the way his life went.
I think that as much as Reigen would worry about Mob, he knows that clinging to the past would be too painful.
so maybe he says a last farewell before moving on, but he wouldn't stay
On Serizawa:
serizawa is older.
we're assuming he's lived into his mid-eighties (which...given his lifestyle for the first few years I'm Concerned)
The other thing is that you're assuming that he's in any better condition to care for Reigen either
Some cute things to round out the pain:
I would like to also say that mob continues to work out all his life, and so does teru, but mob maintains his bony physique but Teru puts on weight as he gets older and it's kind of a sore point but Mob thinks it's cute
teru continues to bleach his hair even after it goes whiteĀ

mp100 headcanons feat. teru n mob
part 1/?? because god knows if more ideas will pop upĀ
Teru
Overly Dramatic,Ā makes extremely large hand motions when describing his sorrows, occasionally smacks people in the face by accident
screams a lot at inanimate stuff
when his toaster breaks down one morning he has a tiny screeching match with it before realising itās 7am and that his neighbours probably donāt appreciate the noise
hisses at itĀ
āopen up and give my laundry back to me or I swear to GOD-ā
ābe a good iron and straighten these clothesĀ donāt make me freakin begā
Is probably a sucker for old school holographic shit
Has a small collection of retro outerwear, mostly consisting of knitwear (e.g. jumpers, sweaters) in various shades of pastel
Has one bomb ass bomber jacket which is bright yellow with pink luminescent stripes and holographic star patches
mob thinks itās cool and daring (he wouldnāt want to wear it really but admires teru for being so bold with his fashion choices)Ā but ritsu honestly believes itās better for him to never wear it out ever
the boy looks like a god damn warning sign
Tome sees it one time and is 99% convinced this guyās communicating with aliens for real
Is the kind of guy to put a song on repeat for a whole day (while being absorbed in feelings)
Tries his best to keep himself politically updated/aware so he doesnāt feel ignorant, but thereās so much to keep up with sometimes, often too much than he can bear
talks to mob about it sometimes but doesnāt talk about it too much because mob either zones out or visibly tenses up. tries to calm mob by talking about the ways they can be better/more aware. teru constantly reminds himself that itās precisely because of mob that he is trying to be a better person himself.
Mob
Actually really likes watching cute cat videos
Theyāre soothing, and when he watches the videos he feels like he can almost feel the catsā soft fur through the screen
Draws little cats on the borders of his foolscap/exercise books when bored/distracted
teru almost wants to use them as prints for his t shirts
Hangs out with the Body Improvement Club sometimes, but when they eat out they always eat at the same ramen store, which has aĀ āless oil less salt less fatā option
ākageyama, nutrition is the second only to exercise in the journey to good muscles!!ā
mob likes his ramen normal but orders the same thing anyways because the clubāsĀ so so eager about it
reigen fucking hates that place (āwhatās the point of ramen if thereās less...of everything???ā)
one day he gives mob a very serious talk
āMob, I know friends are great and all but if they ever make you eat something thatās against your morals, donāt do it. Stand up for whatās right.ā
ā...Of course, shishou, I would never takeĀ drugs.ā
āNo, I mean that shitty ramen place you go to. Yeah itās healthy, but at what cost, Mob? At what costā
Terumob
their middle school friendship is cute bc itās peppered with small adventures which teru makes out to be Very Important but are actually small and hilarious
for example, dragging mob out to choose a new pair of socks because his are stretching out and heĀ ācanāt stand another day in baggy foot capsā
teru used to hang outside spirits & such to wait for mob but by the start of their third year in middle school he kinda just waltzes into the office and waits
after a few visits reigen gets a clue and lets mob off early every fridayĀ
he gives them coupons to his favourite takoyaki stand sometimes (he goes really often so the shop-owner recognises him)
literally sets them up on dates Ā
takoyaki dates are the best because takoyaki is cute to eat and itās even cuter when mob is trying to cool one down/chew one up with his cute small mouth
mob knows teru hates getting stains on his clothes so he gets teru tissues and like even holds a palm underneath sometimes to make sure no sauce gets through
teru gets flustered af but doesnāt spill a thing
sometimes they take-away their food and bring it back toĀ teruās apartment, itās easier to avoid drips and spills when you can use psychic powers
omg on hindsight I have so many ideas for reigen; thatās coming up in part 2 probablyĀ
#teru is justĀ trying his best all the time but he's still same old fluffy boy#ugh reigenĀ boy you are next#and then actual terumob#mp100#mp100 hcs#mp100 hc#mob psycho 100 hcs#mob psycho 100 headcanon#kageyama shigeo#hanazawa teruki#so i made a typo earlier i wrote shipowner instead of shopowner HAHA#and if that isn't the dandiest typo ever
