The New S2 Poster Details
Terry's hat and scarf ❤ With an ook pin! ❤
Crowley's old glasses on the statue. The statue itself is the Marly Horses by Guillaume Coustou the Elder.
Aziraphale's bow tie on the floor 👀
The cardboard box - long ago Neil shared on his instagram: Game on! There are mysteries, histories, secrets revealed and Something Too Terrible To Be Revealed on the way. Also a cardboard box.
Three feathers. One white, one blac and one white with a bluish/grey tinge (if it's not a shaddow)?
The angel mug is back 🥰
'The Resurrectionist' matches with skull and crossbones. In the previous poster there was a The Resurrectionist leaflet.
Again the Eccles cakes (already were in the previous poster)
Feather duster with dark gray/black feathers
On this shelf there books also in the previous poster, but at different place 🤔: The Crow Road, Catch-22.
And: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon, from wikj: mystery novel by nritish writer Mark Haddon. Its title refers to an observation by the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes in the 1892 short story The Adventure of Silver Blaze
And: No Woman No Cry: My Life with Bob Marley by Rita Marley a memoir of Bob Marley by wife, Rita.
Also heard the people say that the right one of the Catch-22 they see Gabriel García Márquez on the spine (I can't read it :)).
Lord Jim and Treasure Island have also been identified in the previous poster but now are in a different place 🤔👀.
Three books by Jane Austen: Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice and Emma. We have already seen Pride and Prejudice in the previous poster but it was a different edition so Aziraphale has more than one :).
Candy?
Again geckos! :) 🦎 (there were three in the previous poster)
The Buddy Holly Everyday was also in a different place in the previous poster. And there is a note on it
The Ressurectionist, 66. Goat Gate, Edinburgh 👀.

I finally caught up with Witch Hat Atelier, and got punched in the face with the sudden realization that Kamome Shirahama’s writing reminds me of Terry Pratchett. Because under the fun and whimsy and beautiful art and fantastic world building, there is real anger for the way the world is.
It’s subtle at first, but it keeps building. The story keeps asking, isn’t it fucked up that disabled people don’t have access to the devices, accommodations and resources they need to live comfortable and fulfilling lives? Isn’t it fucked up that education is denied to the people who could benefit the most from it? Isn’t it fucked up that even powerful and highly respected disabled people are still subjected to the humiliations of ableism? Isn’t it fucked up that there’s virtually no way to climb out of poverty? Isn’t it fucked up that queer couples are denied the same rights as straight couples when it comes to matters like healthcare? Isn’t it fucked up when sexual abuse is ignored because the perpetrator has money and influence? Isn’t it fucked up when laws are enforced with absolutely no room for nuance and no acknowledgement of how the law hurts the most vulnerable people?
The story keeps asking these questions, and then starts to answer with yes! It IS fucked up! And we’re going to try to do something about it! None of this can be solved quickly or easily or neatly, but we’re still going to fucking try! We’re not just going to accept things as they are!
Witch Hat Atelier says yes, there’s so much wrong with the world, and you’ll discover more and more of it as you grow up. And it’s easy to feel buried under the despair and helplessness of what feels like an impossible situation. But you can push back against it. You can say, ‘no, this isn’t right.’ You can fight in any little way you can, and it matters.
Terry Pratchett’s works are so dear to me in part because they have that anger, but also the hope that it’s always worth it to fight for a better world. And it’s such a joy to find another writer who is doing something very similar. There’s anger, but there’s hope, and a real, beating human heart under everything.

Amongst the Aziraphale appreciation posts I see, there's a big thing that I think is often missed and deserves pointing out!
(I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or if it's something so obvious that it goes without saying, and thus hasn't been said; so I am either throwing myself to the wolves here or to the crickets. Here I go!)
In short, I think sheltering Gabriel in S2E1 was undeniably the right thing to do, and I admire Aziraphale for it. The ensuing fight with Crowley might distract some people from seeing this.
Initially it was a snap decision whose rationale was probably along the lines of "Ohshit, this is insane, everyone is staring, this situation has to stop right now, just get in and I'll get rid of you later."
But then it becomes clear to Aziraphale that Gabriel is a person who needs help. This is a special situation in which his antagonist is currently helpless. If he turns Gabriel away, it's only a matter of time before the other angels find him (granted, Azi doesn't have all the information yet here, but it's not a huge leap for him to suspect heaven being part of the threat), and in the meantime he could be hurt or even be discorporated by humans or by accident, and presumably end up back in heaven where Something Terrible awaits.
To articulate what I think the thought process might be in this situation, I'll borrow a quote from Miss Level from A Hat Full of Sky: "You can't not help people just because they're stupid or forgetful or unpleasant. Everyone's poor round here. If I don't help them, who will?" He's able to set aside his feelings and risk his own comfort and possibly his safety to help someone clearly in need, despite their past. The reason this is admirable is because this is difficult to do.
I understand why Aziraphale was upset with Crowley (and acted a bit pissy) during their blow-up. Not only is it not unreasonable to be upset about being bailed on in a high stress situation, it's also disappointing that Crowley's proposed solution was to dump Gabriel somewhere to fend for himself - Aziraphale knows and we know that Crowley is usually kind and moral, not to mention rational (and we even see him being kind to Jim/Gabriel later). It's also worth noting that Aziraphale never implies that he thinks Crowley is a bad person for not helping; he asks for help, is upset to not get it, and suggests Crowley leaves because they're obviously at an impasse.
I see Crowley's side too, because it's also not unreasonable to get upset when your partner springs an unexpected stressful situation on you, and it was wise to leave when it was clear that they were both too emotional to work on a proper solution.
We all want to enjoy our precious, fragile existence on earth and not have to deal with curveballs, but I see this problem as the "worse" part of "for better or for worse". I might have seen things differently if Aziraphale was sheltering someone like Hastur, but he's helping his own antagonist, not Crowley's. I for one like to think that Crowley would have returned to help anyway after processing his emotions, even without the threat to Aziraphale's existence. And when he does return I like that he maintains an attitude of "I'll help but I don't have to like it!"
(Side note, it's also hilarious how irritated Aziraphale is by Jim later while Crowley is so patient - another case of doing the right thing but not necessarily liking it).
TLDR: I see their fight as emotional reactions to stress, that can be summed up along the lines of "I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the situation!" Aziraphale's a BAMF in my book for doing what he believes was right.

Book #171 - A Hat Full Of Sky by Terry Pratchett
(almost cried when Tiffany danced with the bees. don't know what that says about me.)
I've said this already, way back about Equal Rites, but I love how Pratchett writes old people. Especially when it shines through in Granny Weatherwax. In fact, it was a scene between Granny and Tiffany that brought on that thought again, as had originally a scene with Granny and Esk.
I'm really soft and squishy about this book, and I can't quite figure out why. Something about joy, and growing up. About finding a rival in a mentor, an equal in a progeny. About witches and community and a community of witches. About Jeannie changing her mind when she sees Tiffany among the memory of past and future keldas.
I'm now two for two on Tiffany books that put Existential Vertigo into their climax and I so dearly hope it continues. Idk, is it weird to have a favourite "niche" feeling?
I've seldom, if ever, read a book this blunt and this effective about this specific part of growing up, about becoming a person. It's so lovely. So fuckin lovely.
Also, for most of the book I was kinda rolling my eyes at the hints of puppy romance between Tiffany and the Baron's son, but when he gave her a dictionary of uncommon words, and he had underlined that one word, I was literally like "dou, Terry, you got me again". Like, fine, maybe the boy can have some rights. A few. On loan.

A favorite passage from Terry Pratchett. Only a certain kind of person could write a paragraph that so beautifully captures a moment like this. 🐝✨🤍
