I loved this beautiful Fanart of the Techphee ship of Star Wars Bad Batch of the characters of Clone Tech Trooper and Phee Genoa together and especially because I love that in it it has the theme of The Little Mermaid and above all because I really love that Tech is a newt while Phee is still human but also because I love that in the Tech he is still alive together with Phee but at the same time I will not lie to them I would have really liked that in the Star Wars Bad Batch series the character Tech could have been saved and that he would also have been able to survive and that he could have returned to the side of his beloved Phee in Pabu and that he could have had a beautiful happy life with her but I would also have liked that in itself Phee would have been Force Sensitive then she would have been able to save her beloved Tech from dying and that also if Tech had been Force Sensitive then he would have been able to protect himself and life could also have been saved... sincerely

Summary: Phee finds Tech by the docks and joins him for the sunset

The bay should have been teeming with activity.

With air and skies so clear and water the very definition of tranquil, every boat should have been out to catch the sunset.

But only a few boats had been repaired in the fortnight following the savage sea surge and they were only used to bring in fish for meals; with all the work rebuilding the island, no one had the energy for a recreational retreat at the end of the day.

So the docks lay quiet and alone… save for one solitary soul.

He sat at the end of the furthest dock, legs dangling over the edge and swinging to an idle rhythm, his hands clasped in his lap, shoulders hunched in a way that made Phee’s back twinge but didn’t seem the least bit uncomfortable to him

“Drop your datapad in the water, Brown Eyes?” she called.

His head turned just enough to turn an eye on her and acknowledge her before returning his gaze to the gently wavering and glittering horizon. It was on and over quick, but she didn’t miss that slight tug of a smile. “I did not bring it with me,” he told the air. “You can… sit. If you wish,” he added after a minute, nodding his chin to the deck beside him.

She took the invitation and clambered down, slinging one leg over the edge while keeping the other up and bent to hook her arm over. She sighed as she propped her other arm on the deck and tipped her head back, tracing the bleeding gradient of the drowsy sky, as if two people watching the horizon might crowd it.

Honestly, same. I am high-key enjoying watching Phee just shamelessly flirt with Tech's ND ass and him missing like 80% of her social cues but the 20% that hits, hits hard.

this was a very nice little set up for the finale. i was worried we were gonna get another plot heavy episode and the end would be super rushed, but that's not the case. they even name dropped the title of episode 15 which had me immediately like 👀

tarkin is a bastard as always. crosshair refusing to give up the batch - including omega - breaks my heart. i also love how they show how fucked up he is by the torture by the way he misses shots - two of them. his whole thing is that he never misses. i'm also getting the sense that emerie only has this job because it pays the bills (her line about her access card not getting crosshair outside makes me think she's not even free to leave) and that she might be an ally next week.

it was good to see riyo with an obviously established halfway home setup in the martez' garage for deserted or rescued clones, but there's still no cody :( and rex was only there in spirit. no phee this episode either which hurted my little tephee shipper heart.

i'm super glad we got to see new clones! i would already die for fireball and the fact that he's wearing 41st ranger armor (like gree and jek in rots) and he and howzer clearly know each other has me 👀 about howzer possibly being assigned there before ryloth.

"fireball" also is the name of a clone pilot captain in the 501st's gold squadron. he showed up in clone wars gambit and we know he had bright red hair with a black streak, liked to play turbodarts, and went by fib for short. so it could also be that he wasn't originally a pilot, was crosstrained, and then got transferred back to ground in the 41st later in the war and so we have a fifth captain to add to keeli, rex, howzer, and wilco's fanon squad.

(i would also die for nemec but i forgot his name and was consumed by fireball's wiki page and various writer-of-fanfic-shaped thoughts)

it was also great to see gregor wearing his gold again and fucking bizarre to see echo without a kama.

speaking of echo, his exchange with hunter was enlightening. echo's really intense about this, even moreso than before, and part of me wonders if that's because he's doing this because fives would, because he's come across so many apathetic brothers he tried to recruit and defaulted to the schpiel, or because both.

by far the best moment, though - even better than tech teaching omega to fly and the "tech turn" - was omega throwing herself into echo's arms and the way he just caught and held her. it's so obvious he misses her too. that's his kid your honor.

this is... actually my new favorite episode, just barely ahead of last week's.

I loved this beautiful Fanart of the Techphee ship of Star Wars Bad Batch of the characters of Clone Tech Trooper and Phee Genoa together especially because I love that they are referring to the Atlantis movie of the Milo and Kida scene only in the son in reality Tech and Phee. I honestly loved this but I would have liked it even more if in the Star Wars series Bad Batch Tech had survived and been able to return to the side of his beloved Phee. Although I would also have liked that if Tech or Phee had been Force Sensitive if Phee had been he could have saved the life of his beloved Tech and if Tech had been he could have been saved from having died and he would have been able to return together with his beloved Phee and his brothers Wrecker, Hunter, Echo (and Crooshair) as well as his sister Omega

Bad Batch Bingo square ‘Awkward Flirting’.

The kernel of this came from the this absolutely stunning piece of Phee/Tech art by @lornaka and this tumblr post by @thememerman.

I'd intended for it to be done before the Finale, didn't quite make it, and then the Finale happened and my brain melted for a while. So, here I am, back on track. Mostly.

This takes place between Season 2 episodes 13 and 14 and becomes non-canon from there. No Season 2 Finale spoilers apply.

This pretty much a Tech fic from start to finish, with a focus on his relationships, romantic and otherwise. It is a chill fic with a lot of introspection. It is not an action heavy fic. There is random Pabu world-building which is based on things I found on the various official site and guesstimations of my own.

And above all because I love to imagine that if Tech had survived his fall and the Empire had captured him alive and kept him in a state of sleep and then it would be Phee who will save her and that she would give her glasses to Tech. But I also liked that if Tech and Phee had been Force Sensitive Phee he would have used it to save the life of his beloved Tech while if it would have been Tech then he would have used it to be able to save his life
