friends, fwb!ART DONALDSON
josie’s notes! this is kind of a character study & lowkey bad but i got out of the theater 4 hours ago and have been obsessing. new era incoming!
Tumblr media
ART DONALDSON was unable to keep his eyes off of you.
They are thirsty to drink in the way your body curves with ease in the bootcut jeans you wear out of Art’s bathroom. He lets his gaze swipe up and down your form, as you twist and turn in search of your straggling belongings. Most importantly, your phone.
“Mornin’,” Art chimed, admiring the curve of your chest in the sculpted tank you sported.
“Good morning,” you returned with an innocent smile, swinging the strap of your backpack on your shoulder. Your hands patted along the front, back and sides of your thighs, coming up empty handed.
Art’s eyes located your phone atop his dresser, spinning over in his desk chair to reach and retrieve it. Weight slid off of your shoulders in the form of a relieved sigh.
The corners of Art’s eyes crinkled in a friendly smile as he held it out for you to take. His arms– most notably his biceps –and the bruised marks that stretched across the skin. You could still see the fresh indents your newly manicured nails left earlier in the morning.
“Here, princess.”
There it was again. That Donaldson smile that has all the ladies swooning. You were a victim of the assault. It took every nerve in your body to speak with how your knees grew wobbly and your thighs began to grow sore.
“Thanks, friend,” you uttered, lifting your fingers to grab the phone. Art pulled his hand away from you, clicking his tongue.
“Ah-ah,” his smile turned into a smirk as he teased you. You were supposed to leave for class five minutes ago, but with his hand ‘accidentally’ prodding at your ass this morning and how he seems to be playing a game now, you began to ponder the possibility of never being able to leave. Your knee was already pressing next to his in his chair, any further and you weren’t ever getting up.
“C’mon, gotta leave,” you attempted to grab the phone again, only for him to pull it further away from you. The tips of your ears began to burn with your growing frustration.
Art raised his eyebrows in suggestion, and you knew exactly what it meant. Tilting your head at the gesture, he rebounded with a different motive.
“Kiss first?” he asked, an attempt at batting his eyelashes following. “Please?” he added.
You roll your eyes at him. You liked how playful he was, you did, but leaving his dorm the morning after another needy fuck was starting to get tiring. What was the next step?
This wasn’t the heavy subject you needed to focus on right now, instead you needed to start thinking about what you’d do if you failed this mornings’ calculus exam.
Before your feet could get moving, your lips were already obliging his request. Art’s hand cupped the back of your scalp to deepen what was meant to be a parting kiss, turning the soft peck into a loving kiss.
With the way his teeth didn’t try to clash with yours, you wondered if this was how he fed the fantasies in his head. It was obvious, Art wanted more than a fuck-buddy, but his passion was way ahead of his heart when it came to pretty girls like you. He always dove in head first, never thinking of the commitment— or lack thereof —when it came to this type of relationship.
You didn’t know what you wanted. It was hard to tell in college; you didn’t even fully know what you wanted to do with your life, how were you supposed to know anything else?
So you’d continue your late-night ventures to his dorm building and totally-not-lunch-dates whenever he had a gap in his weekend tennis schedule and you weren’t swamped with homework. You’d settle with quickies in closets and longing stares if it meant you had a warm body next to you that made you feel wanted.
After what felt like too long, you were the one to break the kiss. Art’s mouth was tinted with a frown to see you snatch your cell phone from his palm and begin to exit his dorm.
“Bye, friend!” You called.
“Bye, friend.”

Birds chirped softly in the background, their melodies blending with the gentle rustle of leaves in the warm breeze. The sun shone brightly over the Serene Sanctuary Resort, casting dappled shadows on the vibrant array of flowers lining the walkways.
Their petals swayed lightly, adding a touch of color to the already picturesque surroundings. In the distance, a crisp thwack sounded as someone struck a tennis ball, the rhythm of play harmonizing with the resort's tranquil atmosphere.
Serene Sanctuary Resort was known among high-budget travelers as a luxurious escape, a place where every detail was meticulously curated for comfort and elegance.
At the heart of this paradise stood a man adjusting his suit with precise movements. The suit, clearly tailored to perfection, hugged his frame with a classic elegance that spoke of both sophistication and tradition.
His name was James Barnes, but everyone called him Bucky. His badge gleamed on his chest, catching the light just so, perfectly straight and centered.
Bucky was known for his exacting standards. His office was a testament to his need for order—each object had its place, not a single pen out of line. Even the slightest tilt in a flower vase did not escape his notice, and he promptly adjusted it with a practiced hand, ensuring that everything was just as it should be.
His colleagues respected his attention to detail and the unwavering precision he brought to his role as hotel manager. For everyone who worked there, James "Bucky" Barnes was a familiar presence, the very essence of the resort's commitment to excellence.
Bucky Barnes had a polished appearance that perfectly matched the elegance of the Serene Sanctuary Resort. His dark hair was neatly combed, and his sharp blue eyes scanned his surroundings with a practiced gaze that missed nothing.
His suit, tailored to fit him like a second skin, spoke of classic sophistication, and his polished shoes reflected the light as he moved with a quiet confidence. He wore the hotel's badge with pride, a small but gleaming symbol of his dedication.
To him, the resort was more than a job; it was a labor of love. He took pride in its reputation and in every guest who walked through its doors.
Bucky walked through the lobby of the Serene Sanctuary Resort with a calm confidence that immediately put people at ease. His polished appearance and the way he carried himself radiated professionalism and warmth, making him the perfect face for the hotel.
As he approached the front desk, a couple waved enthusiastically. “Mr. Barnes! Good to see you again!” the woman called out, her face lighting up at the sight of him.
“Ah, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson! Welcome back,” Bucky replied with a genuine smile. “How was your flight?”
“Smooth, thanks to your tip about avoiding the morning rush,” Mr. Thompson said, clearly grateful.
“I’m glad to hear it. We’ve got your favorite suite ready, and I’ve made sure the minibar is stocked with that Pinot Noir you love,” Bucky added with a wink.
The Thompsons beamed. “You always remember the little things, don’t you?” Mrs. Thompson said warmly.
“It’s my job to make sure your stay is perfect,” Bucky replied, his tone sincere. “Anything you need, just let me know.”
As he moved toward another guest, an older gentleman patted him on the shoulder. “Bucky! Good to see you, son. My usual room, I hope?”
Bucky nodded, a respectful smile on his face. “Of course, Mr. Martin. I’ve already sent up fresh flowers, just like you prefer.”
“You’re the best, Bucky,” Mr. Martin said with a chuckle. “Honestly, I come back to this place mostly because of you.”
Bucky laughed lightly, his eyes twinkling. “You’re too kind, Mr. Martin. But I’m happy to hear that. Your loyalty means a lot to us.”
As he continued to make his rounds, more guests greeted him by name, exchanging warm smiles and friendly banter. It was clear that Bucky had a unique ability to make every guest feel special, as if they were the only ones staying at the resort.
And in return, the guests adored him, many coming back year after year just to be welcomed by his familiar, reassuring presence.
Suddenly, a shadow loomed over Bucky. He turned to see Steve Rogers, the hotel’s head of guest relations, standing with a serious expression. Steve was usually calm and composed, so the worry etched on his face instantly caught Bucky’s attention.
"I've got bad news," Steve said, his voice low.
“What is it?” Bucky asked, his brow furrowing.
"You've got to see this first," Steve replied, pulling out his phone and handing it to Bucky.
On the screen was a video of a woman, clearly intoxicated, slurring her words as she stumbled through a crowded party. "Whose gonna pay for all this?" a voice in the background asked, laughing.
The heiress grins broadly, waving her glass in the air. “Oh, don’t worry about it,” she says with a dismissive laugh. “I’ll just cut my employees' salaries to cover the cost! Let them eat cake, right?”
The group bursts into laughter, clearly finding the comment hilarious. The camera zooms in on the heiress, who’s now giggling uncontrollably, oblivious to the implications of what she just said.
“Yeah, yeah!” another friend chimes in, mockingly raising a toast. “To the hard-working folks who don’t get a break!”
The heiress rolls her eyes dramatically and raises her glass. “To the workers! May they always work hard… for me!” She bursts out laughing again, almost spilling her drink as she does.
The video cuts off abruptly, but not before capturing a few more drunken cheers and clinking glasses, leaving a bitter taste in the viewer’s mouth.
Bucky’s face tightened with anger as he scrolled through the video. “Little narcissist who puts herself above everyone else,” he muttered under his breath. He continued scrolling down, reading through the online comments:
"This is outrageous. The rich really don’t know what it’s like for us working-class people."
"How can someone be so out of touch? Does she think this is funny?"
"As someone who works at a hotel, this is infuriating. We work hard every day to make these places run smoothly, and this is the thanks we get? A pay cut to fund her parties? Unbelievable."
"Maybe if she spent a day in our shoes, she’d think twice before making fun of us. The ignorance is mind-blowing."
“She’s the sister of the hotel owner, right?” Bucky asked, looking up from the phone.
“Right,” Steve confirmed. “And she’s coming here.”
“Hiding?” Bucky guessed, crossing his arms over his chest, his eyes narrowing.
“No,” Steve said, shaking his head, his expression turning even graver.
“Then what?”
🏨🏨🏨🏨🏨
The room was dark, the curtains drawn tightly to block out any hint of daylight. The air was thick with the stale scent of alcohol and the aftermath of a wild night.
Suddenly, the room was flooded with blinding light as someone forcefully yanked the curtains open. Sunlight poured in, stabbing through the darkness and landing squarely on the figure sprawled across the bed. The clock on the nightstand showed 11 a.m., but the person under the covers showed no signs of stirring.
"Wake up!" barked a voice filled with anger. It was Tom, head of Serene, the global luxury hotel chain. He stood by the window, glaring down at his sister, who was still buried under a pile of blankets.
You groaned, pulling the covers over your head to shield your eyes from the blinding light. "Leave me alone," you muttered, still drunk from the party last night, and slapped Tom’s hand away as he tried to pull the blanket off.
Tom's face twisted with frustration. "I'm going to fucking kill you with my own hands!" he snapped.
"What the hell are you so mad about?" you mumbled, slowly waking up, rubbing your eyes. "Did you forget to take your meds this morning?"
Tom's patience snapped. "Take out your damn phone and see for yourself," he shouted.
You sat up reluctantly, grabbing your phone from the bedside table. Your eyes widened as you saw hundreds of missed calls and countless notifications mentioning you on Instagram.
"Are you out fucking of your mind?" Tom yelled, pacing back and forth, his hands clenched into fists. "I just met the investors last night, then talking with the union about employee salaries, and now this? You're dragging the company’s name through the mud!"
You squinted at the screen, reading the news headlines. Your stomach sank. "Shit," you muttered, slapping your forehead. You remembered last night’s party, the alcohol, the recklessness. "Fine, call the PR team and have them handle it."
"Already did," Tom snapped, his voice dripping with exasperation. "Were you completely out of it last night? Did the drugs and alcohol fry your brain?"
He pinched the bridge of his nose, looking at you with a mixture of disgust and disappointment. "And you stink," he added with a grimace.
Great. Your brother was really pissed. You could feel his anger radiating off him.
"This isn't just about me, or you, or our damn reputations," Tom continued, voice low but fierce. "You’ve jeopardized the whole company. If the royal family cancels their stay at our hotel because of this, that’s on you."
You rolled your eyes, still groggy. "Just drop it, okay? I made a mistake. Big deal. Everyone knows I'm a mess."
Since your parents died, Tom had taken over the Serene hotel business with remarkable responsibility. Meanwhile, you, the other heiress, had floundered. Used to a life of luxury and indulgence, you struggled with discipline and responsibility, leaving Tom to constantly clean up after you.
Your carefree attitude contrasted sharply with Tom’s dedication, and despite his best efforts to guide you, you remained the spoiled, irresponsible sibling who never quite lived up to the family legacy.
Tom sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping as if carrying the weight of your actions. "I’m done letting you get away with this. You're going to own up to what you’ve done."
"Ugh, fine. What do you want me to do?" you muttered, annoyed.
“You’re going to work at the hotel,” he said, leaning closer, his eyes locked onto yours. “You need to understand what it’s like to work hard, just like our employees do.”
“No way. Absolutely fucking not,” you protested, panic rising in your chest. The thought of actually working at the hotel seemed unbearable. “You’re such an asshole, Tom!”
“It’s for your own good,” he said, his tone softening just a fraction.
Tom turned and walked out, leaving you to stare after him in disbelief.
"I’ll show you!" you shouted after him, grabbing a pillow and hurling it at the door as it closed behind him.
You slumped back against the pillows, feeling the headache and the consequences of your actions pounding in your skull. You were screwed. Big time.
✈️✈️✈️✈️
“This is not going to work,” you murmured under your breath, clicking your seat belt into place. You glanced over at Tom, who sat beside you, staring out the window of the private jet with a stern expression. He was serious about this—serious enough to send you to one of the hotels four hours away by plane.
“Just let it be. Or send me to the rehab. I’m the youngest, the irresponsible one,” you continued, your voice edged with frustration. “And you’re the oldest, Mr. Perfect, the responsible one that everyone looks up to.”
Tom sighed, turning to face you, his eyes sharp and unyielding. “Yes, as the oldest, it’s my duty. And I’m happy to do it. But you—you need to stop using that excuse. You have to change this narrative about yourself.”
You scoffed, crossing your arms over your chest. “Well, congratulations. You finally got what you wanted—to get rid of me.”
Tom's expression softened, just a little, as he leaned forward. “For the last time, I’ve never seen you as a burden. You’re my sister. I’m the only family you have who actually watches out for you.”
You rolled your eyes, not wanting to get into another one of his lectures. “Don’t start with the family guilt trip. It’s a long flight, and I don’t need you giving me a headache.”
Tom ran a hand through his hair, clearly exhausted. The bags under his eyes were evidence enough that he hadn’t slept much, likely from dealing with the fallout of your latest screw-up. “Calm your tits,” he muttered, rubbing his temples. “And try not to be a pain in the ass for once.”
You glanced over at him, noticing the tension in his jaw, the way his shoulders slumped slightly from the weight of it all. “Whatever, Tom,” you muttered, looking away, but you could feel the sting of guilt creeping in. Maybe this time, you’d actually pushed too far.
🏨🏨🏨🏨🏨
After the long flight, you and Tom finally arrived at the resort. Stepping out of the car, you took a moment to take in the sight. The Serene Sanctuary Resort was nestled among lush greenery, with elegant architecture that blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of its surroundings.
The air was crisp, and the scent of fresh flowers mingled with the sea breeze. You had to admit, even though you’d never been to this particular resort before, it was one of the nicest you’d ever seen.
As you approached the entrance, Tom guided you toward a man waiting by the front doors. He was tall, with sharp blue eyes that seemed to notice everything, his suit impeccably tailored.
“Bucky, this is my sister,” Tom said, nodding toward you. “She’ll be staying here for a while, learning the ropes.”
Bucky extended a hand politely, his expression neutral but professional. “Welcome to Serene Sanctuary Resort.”
You looked at Tom, narrowing your eyes. “I’m gonna remember this, asshole,” you muttered under your breath.
Tom smirked, clearly enjoying himself. He gave you a mocking little wave before turning back to the car. “Play nice,” he said over his shoulder, then got in and drove away, leaving you standing there with Bucky.
Bucky, unfazed by the exchange, turned his attention back to you. “Let’s get started,” he said, leading you inside. “Tell me about your work experience.”
You shrugged. “I was a barista once.”
“For how long?” Bucky asked, his tone measured.
“A day,” you replied, trying to sound casual.
Bucky paused, giving you a look that was more evaluating than surprised. “Miss, I don’t want to be rude, but this hotel is more than just a business. It has stories, a witness to history. I need you to take this job seriously.”
You raised an eyebrow, slightly taken aback by his earnestness. “Seems like you really love this hotel.”
Bucky nodded, his expression softening for a moment. “I do. Who wouldn’t? I’m proud to wear this uniform.”
You rolled your eyes, getting impatient. “Alright, cut to the chase. How much do you want?” you asked, your tone brash.
Bucky didn’t flinch. His face remained calm but firm. “Forgive me for my frankness, miss,” he said, a hint of steel in his voice, “but you’re broke. Your brother has cut off your funds.”
You blinked, stunned for a moment. “What?”
Bucky nodded. “You’re here to work, not to buy your way out of this. So, let’s get to it.”
You gritted your teeth. Great. Now you're stuck with a workaholic.
Bucky led you down a hallway to your room, which was much smaller than you were used to. You couldn’t help but wrinkle your nose as you stepped inside. The space barely had enough room for a twin bed and a tiny closet. Your luggage towered awkwardly in the corner, looking out of place in such cramped quarters.
"Here we are," Bucky said, his tone matter-of-fact. He didn’t wait for your reaction, guiding you down another hallway to the locker room. “And here is your uniform.”
You looked at the plain white shirt and black skirt hanging in the locker, feeling a wave of disdain wash over you. “Why is it different from yours?” you asked, pointing to Bucky’s tailored suit.
“This?” Bucky gave a small, amused scoff. “You have to earn this uniform, prove yourself, and show loyalty.”
You rolled your eyes. “Great. So, what’s next?”
Bucky glanced at his watch. “Starting tomorrow, your shift begins at 5 a.m. sharp.”
Your jaw dropped slightly. “5 a.m.?” you repeated, disbelief clear in your voice.
Bucky nodded, not fazed by your reaction. “Yes. And for your first task, you'll be cleaning the guest rooms on the third floor. Make sure everything is spotless. And then you’ll help the kitchen staff prepare breakfast.”
You stared at him in horror. “You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve never cleaned a day in my life! And breakfast prep? I didn’t sign up to be a maid.”
Bucky gave you a stern look. “This is a team effort. Everyone here plays a role in maintaining the hotel’s reputation. That includes you.”
You scratched your head in disbelief. “I’m going to sue you.”
Bucky raised an eyebrow, his expression unphased. “If you have the money.”
He continued calmly, “Ah, your brother told me he’ll give you back your credit card once you make it through working here for a month.”
You blinked, taken aback. “What?!”
Without another word, he turned and walked away, leaving you alone in the locker room.
Fuming, you yanked out your phone and dialed your brother. The moment he answered, you didn’t even give him a chance to speak. “Fuck Bucky, the concierge! Damn it, Tom! He gave me an impossible job! My nails will get ruined, and he put me in a tiny room that can’t even fit my bags!”
Tom’s voice came through the line, calm but firm. “You need to start from the bottom, just like everyone else.”
You could feel your blood boiling. “You have to fucking fire him! This is ridiculous!”
Tom sighed, clearly unimpressed with your tantrum. “No can do. He’s the best employee this hotel has ever had. He’s practically a legend around here.”
“Shut up!” you screamed, your frustration reaching its peak as you hung up on him.
Meanwhile, Tom was already on his way back to the jet, surprised by the abrupt end to the call. He shook his head, a small smile tugging at his lips despite everything.
His assistant, Jill, who had witnessed your outbursts a few times, looked at him with concern. “Are you sure it’s a good idea to leave her there? Alone?”
Tom chuckled, shaking his head. “She’ll be fine. Bucky’s there to keep an eye on her.”
Jill raised an eyebrow. “You really trust your sister with him?”
Tom nodded, his smile growing wider. “If Bucky could make a notorious dictator say that Serene Resort was the best hotel he’d ever stayed at,” he said, recalling the amusing headline from a few years back, “then taming my sister should be a piece of cake.”
Jill laughed softly. “Well, if anyone can handle her, it’s Bucky.”
Tom leaned back in his seat, relaxing a little. “Exactly. Besides, she could use a little discipline. And who knows? Maybe she’ll surprise us all.”

Further scrutinisation on Wheeler's Arc details, as continued from the previous takes (links below).
Tumblr media
• Disguises' Foreshadow
The name play on Shellbury ("shell" + "bury") may act as a foreshadow to this arc's pinpoint on the slipping (buried) layer of one's protection (shell), as showcased in Twilight's close call of almost having his face revealed by Wheeler.
Tumblr media
• Border Symbolism
Due to Shellbury being a town at the (northside) border of Westalis and Ostania, the location alone became the symbolism on the clash between the two countries' exact counterparts.
Tumblr media
Bearing the same role of a skilled intelligence agent, Twilight and Wheeler became the main target of the SSS and WISE respectively, all while actively trying to tip the balance into their side's favour upon clashing.
Tumblr media
Possessing the same sense of determination, Yuri and Nightfall came into an equal role of the persistent pursuer of Twilight and Wheeler.
Tumblr media
Thus, the main narration perspectives of this arc had mainly focused on them due to their close calls on their respective target, as highlighted through their forward gazes (breaking the fourth wall) in Volume 13's special illustration (full analysis here).
Tumblr media
Another worthwhile note on Yuri and Nightfall's parallels would be their contribution in stopping their targets' tracks, differed only by the sequence of events:
》 Yuri's battle with Twilight had led to his fall in the hands of Wheeler.
》 Nightfall's clash with Wheeler later had similarly cause the latter to be defeated as well.
Tumblr media
• Strength-building
With Nightfall finding the irony in her intensive tennis rematch training to have reduced the severity of her injury, Yuri had similarly began his own with the thought of improving his own strength to capture Twilight the next time they met. Interestingly, Yor acted as the main motivator in both cases.
Tumblr media
Note: Due to the author's flawless inclusion of numerous intricate details throughout the storyline, different connections are only realised upon every reread. And thus, this is yet another part for the analysis (series, at this point) on Wheeler's Arc.
While catching up to the latest release on a timely basis had been a source of pride to most, missing out the hints included in the main narration's background would cause one to stray further away from its actual intent upon such ignorance.
Wheeler's Arc Analysis: Parallels I • Parallels II • Contrasts

━━━━━ marthas diner 2 , miles morales
Tumblr media
miles and his family are dining in at your workplace, he embarrassed you infront of your entire class, remembering that miles has been missing out on a lot of spanish, so you're using that to your advantage.
there is NO SMUT AT ALL, miles is a minor and so is the reader. Also im planning on making a 8-12part enemies to lovers for miles. just let me know if you would read that, and send requests!
Tumblr media
The tension between you two was sky rocketing.
The aroma of Amber and Vanilla Blossom filled the air, and the lights were dimmed low. “Why did you try that, (Y/N)?” Miles asked. You smirked lowly knowing exactly what he meant.
“Try what.. exactly?” You answered, choosing your words carefully. Miles walked towards you slowly but surely. You were backed up against one of the tables but begin rising on the tip of your tennis shoes as he approached you.
His walk was so many things, it just defined him of who he was. After he had lost Uncle Aaron he had changed so much. But you were pretty sure it was more to the story as the blonde girl who came to Visions Academy left 3 days later. You were there to comfort Miles’s family. And they appreciated you very much for that.
“You know what I mean, puta.” He cursed, You gasped not expecting that from your Miles, but you had just as a snappy reply.
“Sí lo hago. pero solo quería que supieras cómo me sentí después de ese pequeño truco que hiciste en clase.” (Yes, I do. but I just wanted you to know how I felt after that little trick you pulled in class.)
Miles stood right infront of you. He wasn’t that tall, he only stood at 5’11. Whilst you were around 5’8 (Tall Girl Supremacy) Although you were tall, he could look down on you. But being this close you could examine his face carefully.
He had honey brown eyes but around the top it was like coated dark chocolate, and he had freckles just like Señora Morales. But his lips are full and pink. You didn’t realize it but things just felt right. The creases on your shoes would be unbearable for as long as you continued working at Martha’s.
Miles looked deep into your eyes, he leaned in and so did you. Your lips touched but the abrupt ringing of his phone and clashing in the back stopped you two from getting any further. You read the reader and saw a girl as the profile picture, you couldn’t read the name but you remember the same blonde and pink hair with the shaved side. Expect her hair looked longer and the shaved side never grew.
You felt all heartbreak as Miles quickly answered the phone walking away. You noticed him peak to look at you a few times but you released yourself from the uncomfy stance and walked to the back to grab your things. All you had to was lock up the building, so that’s all you were going to do.
You should’ve locked Miles in the building but you would get fired immediately. When you walked back into the dining area, Miles was still on the phone.
“Miles! Time to go I’m locking up!” You shouted, wanting it to be loud enough for the mistress on the phone. “Yeah, I’m on my way. Bye Gwen.”
Miles walked toward you, following you out the building. It was still raining but the streetlights and building is what made everyone capable to se e outside the noir sky.
“I’m sorry for embarrassing you infront of the class.” He apologized. You glanced at him and kept walking. You just continuously thought about Gwen Stacy. The lace on the tip of your skirt got wet. And the noises of your shoes squelching in the rain made it hard to breathe.
“Who’s Gwen?” You questioned. Miles had stopped in his path, realizing he never told you about Gwen. Not that you needed to know but you guys could never put a label on your friendship. Some people thought you were enemies, some acquaintances, some friends, and maybe a little of that group thought you two were romantic.
“Just a friend.” He casually smoothed, you scoffed.
You stopped in your path aswell but you two were about 5 meters apart. “Look, tell me the truth, Miles.”
“No.” He hastily said. “Vete a la mierda Miles Morales. No vengas a llorar si Gwen dice que no está enamorada de ti. Como sabía de ella, simplemente no sabía su nombre, pero ahora que sé quién es. Estoy bastante seguro de que lo sé ahora.” (Fuck you Miles Morales. Don't come crying if Gwen says she's not in love with you. Since I knew about her, I just didn't know her name, but now that I know who she is. I'm pretty sure I know now.)
You walked away, ignoring the calls of Miles and him chanting that he had to make sure you got home safe. You didn’t need to be around him right now. Cause you didn’t know what you felt for him, and he obviously didn’t know what he felt for you.
Once you made it home you stood by the door, leaving your forehead to touch the rusty wood. You heard cartoons playing on the TV and you fathers snoring. Your mother took back working late night shifts so you were stuck with your father. The keys jangled as you walked in. You plopped off your tennis shoes and tip toed to your bedroom.
Your window was cracked open, but you stood in your bedroom without moving. But, just sat down on your bed. You closed your eyes and grabbed the Sony headphones off your dresser and played (Y/F/S) (Your Favorite Song, and play the song fr babes). You hummed the tune and imagined a world where you had everything you wanted.
Being zoned out, you didn’t hear the figure that entered through your bedroom window. He touched one of your eyelids, but you jumped up at the feeling. And sprayed your bug spray you kept handy on the floor. The figure started screaming and hollering and started spraying webs? everywhere.
You took yourself into realization snatching the headphones of your ears. Spiderman was in your room. You had sprayed Spiderman with bug spray. After a minute his eyes have seemed to healed and he had sat down in the corner of your room. You checked various times to see if your father had awoken but luckily he didn’t just a few movements here and there.
After the silence, Spiderman had spoken up. “Did you know it’s National Make People Happy Day?”
“No.” You whispered. You thought about Miles, yeah right.
“Well, when I saw you listening to music which I assume is a coping mechanism I knew exactly what would put a smile on your face.” He shared.
“As much as I should be cautious of you right now, show me what you got Spidey.” You smiled. Spiderman grabbed your waist and jumped out the window, you tucked your face into his shoulder but also tried to hold your dress down from flying up. You were an idiot for not changing.
Spiderman swung ontop and through buildings, and since the streets were surprisingly empty he has a little fun there aswell. He had swung through a deli and picked up two sandwiches and waters. He had made his final stop; destination. Which was on top of the Brooklyn Tower. The rain had stopped but the rain scent was still lingering, but somehow your scent was stronger than any rain.
Spiderman opened the sandwiches and handed you one, “This is making me happy?” You asked. He reminded you much of Miles.
“Yep.” He said, popping the ‘p.’
Spiderman pulled his mask up, but you turned away instantly. Prepared to eat sitting backwards. “Slow down, I’m not gonna pull it up all the way.”
You chuckled, “Oh, My bad. I just read a lot of comics and superhero TV shows and we all know that if they’re masked it’s for a good reason. And usually the person who knows the secret identity is the love interest and they die either in the prequel or in the sequel. And I’m way to young to die.”
Spiderman looked up at you, “You remind me of two people. You know that?” He said.
“Oh really, Who?”
“Gwanda and (N/N).” He revealed. “Holy, My nickname is (N/N).” You smiled.
You ate the sandwich and popped in a fresh mint. You looked at Spiderman. Or atleast what you could see, and recognized those same full but pink lips. It couldn’t be Miles… right? You really didn’t want to kiss a stranger if you were wrong. But you also said you didn’t wanna die young. But if this was Miles, was he trying to win you back with his alternate identity.
“Penny for your thoughts?” Spiderman asked, looking up at your (E/C) eyes. He so bad wanted to you who he was. “Nah.” You declined. “Can you take me home?” You asked.
Spiderman grabbed your waist and swung you two home. You enjoyed the breeze and looked down on Brooklyn. You loved your city. Spiderman places you right in your room, getting ready to swing back out.
“Spiderman?” You said, walking closer to him. “Yeah?”
You stood close just as Miles did you in the diner, you shakily used the tips of your fingers and grabbed the mask. Slowly, you pulled it up as he allowed you. Spiderman leaned in and placed his lips on yours. You took yourself into shock but finished pulling up the mask and releasing it onto the ground. Spider-Man’s hands found themselves on your waist.
As your hands found themselves on his cheeks. You felt for something..anything. But your lips connected together like a puzzle pieces that was awaiting to find its pair. You pulled out of the kiss first, slowly opening your eyes.
The person who stood infront of you was
“Miles?”
yeah ikik, next part will be up soon! and that’ll be the last part and the overall shortest.

The ultimate guide to being coquette as a hijabi girlie
Tumblr media
Being a coquette hijabi is so hard because so many of the key motifs (mini skirts/more revealing clothing, the literal meaning of the word, for example) go against what we believe in. But it's not impossible. So here are my personal favorite ways to be a coquette girlie without compromising my faith! (p.s thank you to @augusttheicedcoffeeaddict for reminding me to post this hehe ily)
Also!!! No hate to the coquette girlies who do wear mini skirts etc.
The white maxi skirt  🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
Mini skirts are a staple in so many coquette outfits and so many people will try to make you think maxi skirts aren't cute but they're just haters. A cute sweater + a pleated or tiered white maxi skirt + some crafty layering has been such a lifesaving formula for me. Blouses work great for this too. And the things you can put on top of a white maxi skirt are endless. Pretty blouses, mini dresses, sweaters, sweatshirts, even cute tshirts with long sleeved shirts underneath. Same goes for denim skirts. I'm looking for one right now and I can't find any I like, but once I do I'll be unstoppable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bowssss 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
Bows. Bows are THE coquette accessory. And, thank god, you don't have to wear a mini skirt to wear bows!
Put them on literally everything. If you want to put them on your hijab, you can use a safety pin to put it on the back of your head, or you could do what I usually do, which is put them in my hijab pins. Depending on the size you can make it as subtle as you want. I have a pinterest tutorial here. (The pic on the left is me!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heart shaped sunglasses 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
Another coquette/vintage americana staple you can wear!
Berets 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
Same thing!
Fuzzy white earmuffs 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
These are SOSOSO perfect for winter. (pic on the left is me again heh)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At home 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
So far, this has all been stuff just in the context of going out in public. At home, I highly recommend doing you hair in a coquette way and wearing things you can only have on in front of family. It's such a confidence booster. It's a bit of effort but it's so so worth it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her bedroom is the window into the girl's soul 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
The coquette aesthetic is way more than just the clothes and hair. So if you really want to feel coquette, try and make your room as coquette as possible. Put up some coquette posters on your wall. A lot of coquette posters are haramcore and some people don't like putting up faces on their wall, so here are some really cute pics for inspo :3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What's in your bag? 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
Purses can make or break a good outfit. My biggest tip is to match them to your hijab. It pulls it all together. The last thing you want is for your hijab to feel like it's clashing with the rest of the outfit.
What's inside is important too! Inner beauty isn't just for living things. Keep whatever essentials you already have, plus lipgloss, a compact mirror bc no one's out here trying to have a bad hijab day, and a little bit of ribbon. Trust me about the ribbon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shoes!!! 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
Please don't wear a super cute coquette outfit and then wear tennis shoes. Just don't. Mary janes, Doc M's, and ballet flats are all really good choices.
Ik I probably sound like I'm obsessing over tiny things, but you kinda have to bc when you're breaking the mold every little thing matters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lastly <3 🦢˚✧𓂃🩰 ໒꒱ ⋆ ˚ ⊹
Last but not least, do not ever ever let people make fun of you. If you're a hijabi coquette girlie, you probably have some form of a muslim community, and they probably won't dress in your style. That was my case, and when I first started wearing mary janes and lace gloves I got SO made fun of. Not from the adults, but from my friends. One girl called my mary janes dorky and said they annoyed her every time she saw them. I think she expected me to laugh, but you just have to keep a straight face and say to their face that you thought that was rude. She never called me dorky again 🤷‍♀️
Take this post as a reminder that you can stay true to your faith while looking fabulous. If you have any questions pls pls feel free to ask anything. Ily all honeys, bye ♡

The other semifinal match of the NextGen Finals had the Blue Group winner, eighth seed Joao Fonseca, who also remarkably defeated first seed Arthur Fils 3-4(5), 4-2, 4-1, 1-4, 4-1 to kick off his campaign in this tournament before overpowering fifth seed Learner Tien 4-0, 4-0, 1-4, 4-2 in a rematch of their 2023 US Open Junior Boys' Singles final, followed by surviving an epic, arguably the best of this year's tournament, against third seed Jakub Mensik 3-4(4), 4-3(8), 4-3(5), 3-4(4), 3-4(5) in an epic battle, and sixth seed Luca van Assche, who confirmed his Red Group runner-up place after defeating Nishesh Basavareddy 3-4(2), 4-3(7), 4-2, 4-2 in his last group stage match. Instead of its initial tip as a clash of styles between J. Fonseca's powerful play and L. van Assche's counterpunching approach, this match turned out to almost be a straightforward affair.
The Brazilian eighth seed already kicked off the match with some forehand winners, including a cross-court forehand one at the fourth point to close the gap at the fourth point, but L. van Assche still held his serves to 1-0. The former carried on with a service game hold to 1-1, followed by a forehand return ace from quite an angle before his intuitive volleys put himself 2 points ahead, where the French sixth seed fumbled his break points on his serve, acing his way to secure the gigantic hold to 2-1.
Afterward, J. Fonseca held his serves to 2-2, and already went after L. van Assche's forehand to start the next game, succeeded by a powerful preceding forehand to put himself 2 points ahead before he exercised that power again to execute his fourth-shot forehand winner, creating his break point by then. However, the latter's double fault converted his break point before its conversion to 3-2, which allowed J. Fonseca to serve for the first set. The Brazilian eventually succeeding, sealing the set on his serve thanks to overpowering the Frenchman to take the first set 4-2, confirming his commanding start to this match.

Choosing Gold Pendant Designs That Match Lightweight Diamond Jewellery
Jewellery is more than an accessory; it reflects personal style, cultural heritage, and emotional significance. For those who value timeless elegance and versatility, Gold Pendant Designs paired with Lightweight Diamond Jewellery offer the perfect blend of sophistication and practicality. But how do you choose gold pendants that complement your lightweight diamond pieces? This guide explores essential tips and considerations to help you create harmonious jewellery ensembles that suit your style and occasion.
Why Choose Gold Pendant Designs with Lightweight Diamond Jewellery? Gold pendants and diamond jewellery are classics, each possessing unique qualities that enhance one another. When paired thoughtfully, they elevate your overall look with a subtle yet luxurious charm. Here’s why this combination works so well:
Timeless Appeal The warm glow of gold contrasts beautifully with the sparkling brilliance of diamonds. Whether you opt for traditional or contemporary Gold Pendant Sets, the combination ensures a timeless appeal.
Versatility Lightweight diamond jewellery, known for its minimalism, pairs well with a variety of gold pendant styles. This makes it an ideal choice for casual outings, professional settings, and special occasions.
Comfort and Elegance Lightweight jewellery ensures you can carry elegance effortlessly without feeling weighed down, making it suitable for everyday wear or long events.
Matching Gold Pendant Designs with Lightweight Diamond Jewellery To ensure your gold pendants and diamond jewellery complement each other seamlessly, consider the following factors:
Understand Your Style Are you drawn to classic designs, or do you prefer modern, trendy looks? Your style dictates the kind of Gold Pendant Designs you should explore.
Classic Style: Look for pendants with timeless motifs like floral patterns, hearts, or simple geometric shapes. Pair these with lightweight diamond stud earrings or tennis bracelets for a cohesive look. Modern Style: Experiment with abstract or asymmetric pendants that highlight contemporary craftsmanship. Combine these with sleek diamond chokers or rings.
Choose the Right Pendant Size The size of your pendant is crucial when matching it with lightweight jewellery. A larger pendant might overshadow dainty diamond pieces, while a tiny one might not create the desired impact.
For Gold Pendant Sets, ensure the earrings are proportional to the necklace for a balanced aesthetic. Lightweight diamond jewellery like delicate earrings or bracelets pairs best with medium-sized pendants featuring subtle designs.
Match Metal Tones Although gold and diamonds naturally pair well, it’s essential to pay attention to the gold's hue.
Yellow Gold Pendants: These create a traditional and warm look, perfect with white or champagne diamonds. White Gold or Rose Gold Pendants: These metals exude a contemporary vibe and pair beautifully with lightweight diamond jewellery. Opt for a consistent metal tone across your jewellery to ensure a unified appearance.
Consider Pendant Shapes and Motifs The shape and design of your pendant can either harmonize or clash with your diamond pieces.
Round Pendants: A safe choice that matches the natural curvature of most diamond jewellery designs. Heart-Shaped or Oval Pendants: These add a romantic touch and pair well with teardrop or oval diamond earrings. Abstract Shapes: Ideal for those who prefer a bold and artistic look. Pair these with minimalist diamond jewellery to balance the ensemble.
Focus on Details Look for Gold Pendant Designs that incorporate diamonds, gemstones, or intricate patterns. These details ensure that your pendant doesn't look out of place when paired with diamond jewellery.
A gold pendant with tiny embedded diamonds creates a seamless connection with lightweight diamond jewellery. Avoid overly ornate pendants if your diamond jewellery is already detailed; opt for simplicity instead.
Layering for a Modern Look Layering necklaces is a popular trend that allows you to mix Gold Pendant Sets with lightweight diamond chains.
Start with a short diamond necklace or choker. Add a mid-length gold chain with a simple pendant. Finish with a longer gold necklace for a cascading effect. Ensure that the designs and styles of each layer complement each other to avoid a cluttered look.
Occasion Matters When choosing a combination of Gold Pendant Designs and Lightweight Diamond Jewellery, consider the occasion.
Everyday Wear: Opt for minimalistic pendants and subtle diamond studs or bracelets. Formal Events: Go for elaborate gold pendants with intricate designs and pair them with diamond danglers or statement rings. Weddings or Celebrations: A bold gold pendant set with matching earrings works beautifully with lightweight diamond jewellery featuring traditional motifs.
Budget-Friendly Choices While gold and diamond jewellery can be an investment, you can find budget-friendly options that don't compromise on style.
Choose lightweight pendants with hollow designs to reduce costs without affecting aesthetics. Look for collections like Gold Plus, which offer a variety of affordable Gold Pendant Sets and lightweight diamond jewellery. Care Tips for Gold Pendants and Diamond Jewellery To ensure your jewellery retains its beauty for years, follow these care tips:
Storage
Store gold pendants and diamond jewellery separately to avoid scratches. Use soft pouches or a lined jewellery box. Cleaning
Clean gold pendants with mild soap and water using a soft brush. Use a diamond jewellery cleaner for lightweight diamond pieces to maintain their sparkle. Regular Maintenance
Check clasps and settings regularly for wear and tear. Take your jewellery to a professional for periodic cleaning and polishing. Popular Gold Pendant Designs That Match Lightweight Diamond Jewellery For inspiration, here are some popular Gold Pendant Designs from collections like Gold Plus:
Minimalistic Circular Pendant
Features a single diamond at the center. Ideal for pairing with lightweight diamond earrings. Floral Gold Pendant
Intricate floral patterns adorned with tiny diamonds. Perfect for a romantic and feminine look. Geometric Gold Pendant Set
Contemporary designs featuring sharp angles and clean lines. Pairs well with sleek diamond jewellery. Heart-Shaped Pendant with Diamonds
A classic choice for anniversaries or romantic gestures. Abstract Art-Inspired Pendant
Unique designs for those who love bold and artistic jewellery. Where to Find the Best Gold Pendant Designs and Lightweight Diamond Jewellery If you're looking for high-quality options, explore the Gold Plus collection. They offer:

By considering factors like pendant size, shape, and metal tone, you can create stunning ensembles that exude elegance and sophistication.
Invest in versatile designs from trusted brands like Gold Plus, and don’t forget to care for your jewellery to maintain its beauty over time. Whether for everyday wear or special occasions, the right gold pendants and lightweight diamond jewellery can enhance your look effortlessly.

SF Preview: Casper Ruud v Alexander Zverev - Two very hungry players, vying for another GS Final trip
In today's other semifinal at Roland Garros, Casper Ruud faces Alexander Zverev in a classic showdown of consistency versus power.
Casper Ruud has honed his game to perfection on clay courts, leveraging heavy topspin to control rallies and outmaneuver opponents. His forehand is a weapon of mass disruption, loaded with topspin that pushes opponents deep behind the baseline and creates acute angles for winners. Ruud’s footwork on clay is impeccable; his ability to slide into shots and maintain balance allows him to stay aggressive while minimizing unforced errors. His backhand, while not as lethal as his forehand, is a model of consistency and precision, crucial for setting up his forehand attacks.
Positive Stats for Ruud at Roland Garros 2024:
First Serve Percentage: Ruud has consistently maintained a high first serve percentage, around 70%, which helps him start points aggressively.
Topspin Forehand Winners: Averaging over 20 forehand winners per match, Ruud’s topspin forehand has been a significant weapon.
Negative Stats for Ruud at Roland Garros 2024:
Unforced Errors: While generally consistent, Ruud has had matches with high unforced error counts, occasionally exceeding 30.
Break Points Saved: His ability to save break points has been a bit shaky, with a conversion rate around 50%.
Alexander Zverev brings a different dynamic with his imposing 198 cm frame and powerful groundstrokes. His two-handed backhand is one of the most potent on tour, allowing him to dictate play and hit winners from the baseline. Despite his height, Zverev’s movement is surprisingly agile, utilizing long strides to cover the court effectively. His footwork, though not as fluid as Ruud’s, is efficient enough to keep him in rallies and turn defense into offense.
Positive Stats for Zverev at Roland Garros 2024:
Aces: Zverev has been serving strong, averaging over 10 aces per match, giving him free points and maintaining pressure on his opponents.
Backhand Winners: His backhand has been exceptionally effective, averaging 15 winners per match, keeping opponents on the defensive.
Negative Stats for Zverev at Roland Garros 2024:
Double Faults: Zverev has struggled with double faults, averaging 5 per match, which can give away crucial points.
First Serve Percentage: While powerful, his first serve percentage has been inconsistent, dipping below 60% in some matches.
Keys to Victory for Ruud:
Heavy Topspin: Ruud must utilize his heavy topspin forehand to keep Zverev deep and off balance, forcing short balls and creating opportunities to attack.
Consistency: Maintaining a high level of consistency and minimizing unforced errors will be crucial. Ruud needs to prolong rallies and wait for Zverev to make mistakes.
Efficient Movement: Ruud’s ability to move efficiently on clay will be vital in outlasting Zverev in extended rallies, especially in the grueling conditions of Roland Garros.
Keys to Victory for Zverev:
Powerful Backhand: Zverev must leverage his powerful two-handed backhand to dominate rallies, hitting deep and aggressive shots to push Ruud on the defensive.
Effective Serving: Serving effectively to gain free points and maintain pressure on Ruud will be essential. Zverev’s serve can be a game-changer if he maintains a high first-serve percentage.
Control the Baseline: Using his height and reach, Zverev should aim to control the baseline, dictating play and keeping Ruud from settling into his topspin rhythm.
This match promises to be a captivating clash of styles. While Zverev’s power and serving could give him the upper hand, Ruud’s consistency, topspin, and clay-court savvy might tip the balance in his favor. Tennis enthusiasts can expect a thrilling battle of tactical prowess and physical endurance.

4. Styling Tips: Pairing Diamond Bracelets, Nose Pins, and Gold Nose Studs
Now that we’ve established the appeal of each piece, let’s delve into some practical styling tips to pair diamond bracelets with nose pins for women and gold nose studs seamlessly.
Tip 1: Balance Your Jewelry
When pairing your diamond bracelet with nose pins for women and gold nose studs, it’s essential to strike a balance. If your diamond bracelet features large stones or intricate designs, opt for more understated nose pins and studs. Conversely, if your bracelet is minimalistic, you can go bold with your nose pins.
Example: A classic diamond tennis bracelet pairs beautifully with a delicate gold nose stud, while a chunky diamond cuff might look better with a simple stud nose pin.
Tip 2: Color Coordination
While diamonds are universally appealing, the metals you choose can either complement or clash with your look. Gold nose studs will naturally pair well with gold bracelets or other gold jewelry. However, mixing metals can also create a trendy and unique style.
Example: A rose gold diamond bracelet can be paired with both yellow gold nose studs and silver nose pins for an eye-catching contrast.
Tip 3: Occasion Matters
Consider the occasion when styling your jewelry. For formal events, you might want to select more luxurious pieces that create a cohesive look. On the other hand, for casual outings, you can choose playful combinations that showcase your personality.
Example: For a wedding or formal gathering, pair an elegant diamond bracelet with diamond-encrusted nose pins for women and matching gold nose studs. For a brunch date, a simple diamond bracelet with a playful nose pin can add charm to your outfit.
Tip 4: Layering Techniques
Layering is a popular trend in jewelry that allows you to showcase multiple pieces without overwhelming your look. You can layer your diamond bracelet with other bracelets or bangles while keeping your nose pins and gold nose studs as standout pieces.
Example: Stack a diamond bracelet with a few thin gold bangles, and pair it with elegant nose pins while wearing classic gold nose studs for a polished yet layered appearance.
Tip 5: Focus on Your Features
When choosing your nose pins for women and gold nose studs, consider your facial features. Certain designs can accentuate your features more effectively. For instance, if you have a round face, elongated nose pins can help create a more balanced look.
Example: If you have a prominent jawline, small, delicate nose studs can soften your overall appearance when paired with an elegant diamond bracelet.

Hope,
I am going to see Harry in October and so excited!! I am trying to figure out an outfit. I saw your fit when you went to see 🐸 and was wondering if you have any suggestions or tips on putting together an outfit that is cute but vibes with Harry's concerts?
Xx
ah hello love!!! what kinda vibe are you wanting to go for? i’m usually either very sparkly or very new wave with my fashion for shows. it all varies. i think it would be really cute to kinda go pre-k teacher chic for this tour since a lot of his stage fits have resembled that— fun patterns and colors. clashing patterns. overalls/polka dots/stripes/pastels/checkers/funky tennis shoes etc. ✨

you guessed it– even more writing
@yourpal step on up, buddy, because this one’s all yours (:
ship: i’m going to say i’d ship you w pitts (mostly for all the fun you guys would have just like.. doing things together (‘: )
hcs:
you and pitts would most certainly not really acknowledge each other’s existences at first. not really in a bad way, you were just never formally introduced to him like the rest of the poets.
because of this, you’d probably wonder why he never came over to introduce himself when you were so obviously sitting there quietly being part of the group
the reason for this, though, was that he just thought you were really cute and he’s so awkward around pretty people, so he saves himself the embarrassment by not talking to you
charlie talks to him and gives him some interesting tips so the next time you guys see each other, he sits next to you and after about twenty painful minutes of him summoning the courage, he turns to you and says “hi, i’m gerard. the boys call me ‘pitts’” and would hold his hand out, which you’d shyly shake
but once you guys got past that semi-awkward talking stage, you both opened up pretty easily
you’d always make little gifts or knick knacks for the poets, sneaking the gifts into their rooms where they’d always find them when they were least expecting
you would definitely have been friends with meeks before anyone else because you both care a lot about school
you’d get along really well with cameron, too, because of your academic track record and you seemed to be the only one apart from his idiot friends to take school (mostly) seriously.
baking with neil !!! he was hopeless at it, but just liked to be included (you’d pretty much only let him lick the spoons or set timers for you because he most definitely added way too much leavening at one point in a batch of chocolate chip cookies)
you and todd would like to go to museums together (once you started seeing pitts, he’d always tag along, but leave you and todd mostly to yourselves because pitts was pretty far-removed from things pertaining to art)
you and charlie would sometimes butt heads because his personality was a lot for a shy person like yourself to handle, but you never clashed hard enough to cause any ripples in your relationships or friend group (:
also– baking with pitts !! who is surprisingly skilled in all things having to do with a kitchen. he really liked being creative, drafting outlandish recipes with you that somehow always tasted great ((:
there would most certainly be a week where you’d try to teach all the poets how to crochet, but gave up after three days because charlie said it was “too hard,” cameron and meeks didn’t have time because they had “to study,” and neil and pitts’ hands were just too clumsy and big to deal with small needles/yarn/or thread.
todd would approach you later, though, asking if you could still teach him because he found it soothing (:
blurb:
Tumblr media
your first date with pitts would be simple, but sweet. he asked you to be ready with tennis shoes on at 8a.m. on a saturday, which you found to be an odd request since you had zero clue what he could possibly be planning, but when you opened your door to leave, he was just about to knock,
“oh, you’re just on time,” you said quietly, smiling up at him (this boy is tall as fuck ok).
“of course i am,” he’d return the smile and hold his arm out for you to link your arm through his.
“where are we going?” you asked, linking his arm with yours.
“well… hold on,” he had a very slight mischievous look in his eyes, and he’d walk you out to the grounds, “i… remembered how much you like to hike, and i begged dr. hager to drive us somewhere, but he refused, so i thought maybe we could just um… walk around the grounds a bit… maybe a little further out from campus, but just like… it’s just… we’re just going on a walk,” his voice fell a little toward the end of his sentence, feeling like it was lame, but you thought it was the most endearing thing in the world.
“i love that,” you’d beam up at him.
“really?” he’d ask, looking down at you hopefully,
“really,” you’d smile even bigger. you two would start walking, taking your sweet time (pitts was a pretty slow walker in general, but he wanted to extend the time he got to spend with you as long as possible). when you’d been walking for about five minutes he cleared his throat, causing you to pull your eyes up to him again,
“could i um… would it be cool if i like… held your hand or something? can i hold your hand?” he’d rush to get all this out and you’d go a bit pink in the cheeks before nodding and smiling at him.
“sick,” he’d say, making a mental note to tell meeks all about how he got to hold the prettiest girl in the world’s hand later.
