nah ur right and you should say it. like the whole freak out over the daddy joke really clearly showed there are a lot of women placing themselves in bucks shoes and then acting like their experiences would be the same as a bi man's. like if we ignore buck initiating the whole thing and just look at "but you think I do?" "god I hope so" I 100% understand why some women would get skeeved out by that if it happened to them considering the way men talk about women with daddy issues (I mean christ I still think about that how I met your mother episode about that) it's always in this weird predatory manipulative way. but that simply is not how it is for men dating men. the connotations are very different when it's 2 dudes. I never wanna say women can't relate to mlm couples, but you just will never fully understand the difference in the dynamic unless you either are mlm or listen to us when we speak (something a lot of these people seem to struggle with)

there's always been a disconnect between fandom mlm ships and actual mlm people, since women make up the majority of fandom, to the point that in one fandom i was in, i can't remember which one, this post/article was going around about how anal sex actually works, and women in the fandom were literally arguing against it. i don't remember if the author was the one in fandom or if someone else just shared it, but the op was clear that he wasn't saying people needed to change how they wrote smut, it was just sort of a psa, and they were still telling him, a queer man, that he was wrong about how the sex he was having worked.

that's what the daddy issues aftermath felt like. queer men saying "yeah that's accurate, that feels right" and women yelling back "no! it was degrading! you're feeling degraded!"

queer men said they were fine with it, and buck said he was fine with it as much as he could, what with 911 not being in a children's show where they turn to the audience and explain the lesson. he was smiling, the one to bring it up and even pushed it. but they ignore both the man on screen and the men in the audience because of course, they know better.

do u have any more info on how mosacism can cause cats to have a split face pattern? trying to find info on it all is about chimeras and I know that that's not the only reason for that appearance but that's only mentioned very briefly in the articles I can find

The split face pattern is a normal presentation of the tortoiseshell pattern, it is not a signalment of chimerism or any other rare or unique genetic presentation or anomaly.

CURRENTLY WATCHING? - Orphan Black: Echoes. It is. A show lol But also Evil, Evil rocks socks and more people should watch it. House of the Dragon too, it's not perfect but it's very good. Ooh and also Elementary, but it's my first time watching and the only thing stopping me from quitting it is Lucy Liu, her Joan Watson rules and I must subject myself to 2010s genius equals asshole to keep watching this show for her. I guess I also recently finished the latest season of the Dragon Prince, but is that currently watching if that was a binge watch 🤔 I'm sorry, I just constantly need sounds and sometimes, that's a show in the background lol
