Bringing back my Nobu hellspawns fanmade sprites + scene edits just for funsies. The big bro is nice like the mama (feel free to imagine whoever), the younger bro is scary like Nobu. 

“Tenka Chorus” is the name I gave to this AU what if edit thingy imagining a sequel app to Tenka/SLBP but with the lords descendants/whatever like BMP and BMP2. Because a lot of the hellspawns timeline historically overlaps with stuff that happens in SLBP, so leaning more towards an AU I guess.

“Can you write something about Yamanbagiri and Yamabushi testing Izuminokami? Like if he’s worthy of having their brothers as his partner or asking him how much he cares about Horikawa? I like the idea of them being protective over their brother (even if he is older). I see this more as a hanamaru version of the characters rather than the katsugeki one.”

thoughts about it:

at first, i really had no idea to work it up cuz as you can see, the kunihiros didn’t hardly get that much moments and there are no hearty mentions or interactions of the yamas and kane-san, is there?

because of that, the seemed-to-be older kunihiro brothers were slightly uh.. ooc if they are going to test kane-san, just to ask him perhaps?

or it’s “yama bros talking to kane-san about horikawa” cuz it might be the only topic that they could talk about, right?

‎but! i love the kunihiro bros and i wanted to see more moments of them and i wanted to see them with izuminokamiii (♥ω♥ ) ~♪

‎it’s the ep 2 that gave me an idea for Yamabushi hehe

‎it’s a good thing that it’s in hanamaru vibe, cuz if it was katsugeki..err.. that sounds really really serious

Yamabushi Kunihiro

let’s start with Kashuu hiding from Nikkari, cuz god, he knows where they are going again but he needs to take care of a pretty newly arrived Juzumaru

‎he really hate that training, cuz you kno at his last training, he felt like his beautiful face was fully messed up, even his nails!

but aruji would not love him if he refused, damn yasusada, comeback!

maybe he would just ask some help on the training cuz Nikkari would pull out his beloved gold ball again- from the other shinsengumi swords? well, Nagasone was busy with his brothers and Horikawa would prefer Izuminokami over him for sure

wait, Izuminokami?

‎well, the day was good for Kiyomitsu cuz Horikawa’s out for a sortie, leaving Izuminokami behind

“Kashuu-san, please look after Kane-san for me.”

‎"Jeez. Kunihiro, it’s not like I can’t take care of myself. I’m a cool-“

”-sure Horikawa! I’ll take good care of him.“ while smiling sheepishly, pulling a confused Kane-san away to hide themselves at their room

“Eh? Is there something wrong?” Izuminokami asked, arms crossed

“Nothing, nothing, since I’ll be in charge of you..”

“What?! You don’t have to, I can manage myself-”

Izuminokami was given his pack of things and later found himself trailing along with Yamabushi, Juzumaru, Nikkari, Doudanuki and Kashuu

‎their unit is complete for an expedition btw

“Kiyomitsu, just what is the meaning of this?” Kane-san was somehow peeved by what they’re doing right now

“KA KA KA KA! It’s great to have you, Izuminokami Kanesada, in this training of mine!”

Kiyomitsu seemed could swear he sounded like a master in a game’s boss level to be cringing

‎“That’s great. So, what happens here?”

‎then Yamabushi and Juzumaru took turns talking about everything about what looked like to be about Buddhism and strength, teachings and strengths lol the abouts

at first, he finds it exhausting until he didn’t realize he was climbing that boulder to make everyone see how cool he was excitedly that he almost left Kiyomitsu

cue Izuminokami learning why Kashuu wanted him to come, seeing him down after the event at the waterfall

‎Izuminokami loved it the most when he was praised by Yamabushi by succeeding his out of the world training i could imagine a very pompous Kane-san

a very depressed Kashuu

and a Nikkari that smiles all the time just as he always do, cudding his golden ball around

‎later, Izuminokami joined Yamabushi and Juzumaru in gathering ingredients, until he was left with Yamabushi for a while

‎it never happened before, all Kane-san was thinking that he is with a sword forged by the same blacksmith as Horikawa

they had mutual thoughts and Yamabushi was thinking that he is with a sword that Horikawa had been together with almost all of the days in his life

‎they need to talk in that small amount of time while Juzumaru was helping Nikkari with the meal

‎“Come to think of it, Izuminokami. We never had sit like this before, did we?”

Izuminokami huffed in agreement, holding the basket of greens they just gathered

‎"Horikawa was very close to you, no?“ Yamabushi cheerfully started

‎"He always talks about you. About how much he admires his Kane-san. Well, I wouldn’t disagree with that, now that I’ve seen you enjoy this ascetic action with this humble servant of Buddha! KA KA KA KA!”

Izuminokami couldn’t find his words to say something else than a arrogantly hinted humble “Thank you, Yamabushi”

‎seconds of silence before Yamabushi asked Izuminokami a question

‎"So, what do you think of my brother Horikawa? I was not that close to him as you, you know.“

‎"Kunihiro…?”

‎Izumino stared up, noticed the moon, glanced at the stars. he stood up, confusing Yamabushi in the process where he poured all the contents of his basket to Yamabushi’s that the veggies almost fell off

‎“I-Izuminokami? What are you doing?”

Kane-san placed the empty one back to where he last sat

“It’s heavy, right?”

“Y-Yeah.”

Izuminokami took the basket from Yamabushi while saying,

“Kunihiro just proclaimed himself as my partner and assistant, because of the fact that Hijikata-san always carried us together. He takes all of my heavy tasks and feelings for him to carry it.”

“And he will always be smiling.”

‎Izuminokami smiled at him

“I see.”

Izuminokami looked up at the sky again, “It may not look like it, but I really love him by my side.”

‎"KA KA KA KA! Well then, Izuminokami, take care of my brother alright?“

Kane-san nodded, "Ah, understood, humble servant of Buddha.”

‎“KA KA KA KA!”

Kashuu must prepare for Horikawa at their return

“Ehh?! You let my Kane-san join my brother’s training??”

sorry Horikawa, Kashuu won’t steal your Kane-san, he has his own Yasusada

Yamanbagiri Kunihiro

as we all know, Manba has a difficulty in starting a conversation, i can’t imagine him asking Kane-san about Horikawa i’m srry

he prefer just sitting there at the corner, drinking tea or wine at some time, angsting over his copied self

but today was different cuz he feels really down was it always? aww

at the arrival of a tenka goken, Juzumaru, where everyone was amazed by his original beauty

the ashikaga’s treasured swords just came back from a sortie today and Hasebe was praising them when he walked by i know he’s from ashikaga too, isn’t he?

the great spears of Japan surrounded by those cute tantous were in his view

he stood up from his place to where he could stay away from seeing something that hurts him maybe?

‎Yamanbagiri walked by the sparring area where he heard Horikawa praising his Kane-san

“Kane-san! You’re so cool!”

‎"Of course, I’m a cool, strong and famous sword!“okay let’s stop this

‎"So, can I get this cool sword some quenchers?”

“Sure!”

Horikawa passed by him with a quick smile

Yamanbagiri just blinked and sat by the porch where the could see Izuminokami wipe his sweat

‎Izuminokami noticed him and waved from afar

Yamanbagiri flinched and covered his face with the hood of his dirty mantle

Izuminokami tilted his head in confusion, later sitting beside the shrinking man

Kane-san cleared his throat

‎Manba was just as silent as he could be

‎ahem

‎ignored

another ahem

sigh

‎Izumino looked at the latter and asked if he was okay

“…”

‎"Ah, I’m okay.“

minutes passed, Kane-san was just sitting beside Yamanbagiri, tapping his fingers on the wooden boards

‎"You don’t seem okay.”

‎“Just stop worrying about me.”

Izuminokami let out a long sigh, “Yamanbagiri, Hijikata-san requested to make me similar to his wakizashi.”

Yamanbagiri have heard that before, but not from him, maybe from Horikawa at the first time, he looked at Izuminokami almost like a peek, his hood still covered his face

‎“Yes, I’ve heard of that.”

“Yeah, and that wakizashi is Horikawa, isn’t that cool?”

silence wrapped the training area again

“You might be a duplicate, but you’re Kunihiro’s masterpiece. You’re beautiful.”

“Don’t call me..beautiful.”

yes, he’s blushing.

“Kane-san! Kyodai! I brought refreshments!” Horikawa came with a small tray

the three of them sat by the veranda of the training room, Yamanbagiri watched the swords of Hijikata talk to each other, also noticed how close they are and how they look similarly alike

“You look..good together.” said Yamanbagiri, blushing again

“Ehh??” they reacted in chorus

Yamanbagiri scoffed with a small smile

“I’m just kidding.”

they all laughed together and sat together till their tea and sweets ran out

VA Unit Earphones Member Marika Kohno to Make Solo Singer Debut in February 2021

    Nippon Columbia announced on December 7 that Marika Kohno, a member of the three-member voice actress unit Earphones, will release her solo debut single "Yume mitai, demo Yume jyanai" (Looks like a dream, but it's not a dream) on February 24, 2021. A one-chorus version music video for the song is now streamed on her newly-launched official YouTube channel.

  After graduated from Yoyogi Animation Academy's Omiya school, she made her professional voice actress debut in 2014. The first breakthrough in her career was Rin Kohana in the 2015 TV anime Seiyu's Life!, which was her first main role. At the same time, she formed the voice actress unit Earphones along with two other cast members of the anime, Rie Takahashi and Yuki Nagaku. Even after the TV anime ended, they have still kept their activities on their own and have gained great popularity among Japanese anime fans.

  Kohno's well-known anime characters also include Hanabi Tenka in Scorching Ping Pong Girls (2016), Yumina Urnea Belfast in In Another World With My Smartphone (2017), Silence Suzuka in Uma Musume Pretty Derby (2018), and Scarlett Gosling in No Guns Life (2019). She is currently playing Miya in By the Grace of the Gods, Nene in Mewkle Dreamy, and Mimi Tachikawa in Digimon Adventure:.

I thought to write that he’s Nobubu’s son, but meh, if this were an actual profile it’s not necessary. I instead just gave him the Oda quince mon instead of the other clan’s one, just to make sure you don’t get confused. 

Someday I should make a proper one for ani-ue, not that lazy one I did for the tutorial LMAO

It’s not as nice as the Masayuki one, sorry Anon. But I’m just rushing because with Masayuki I sorta manually remake a bunch of the parts with vector. There’s not much to it. You sorta just... have to look up Vectoring tutorial for Photoshop yourself because it’s something entirely separate.

It’s been a while since I draw the spawns from “SLBP Chorus” AU.

AU as in “what if the lords are age-appropriate and we play with their sons instead, yey”

Kankurou Nobutada, Nobubu’s oldest son. 

This happy boyo is the complete opposite of his moody dad LOL

I don’t have a sprite for this boy because I’m lazy, but this is Nobu’s third son Sanshichi (Nobutaka) for my age-upped/lord’s sons Tenka/SLBP AU. 

It seems to be a thing that whatever Nobu’s sons do, it ends up attributed to Nobu in older movies/manga/anime/drama. Maybe because they think “who cares about sons”? 

In the Hanzo no Mon manga there was a scene where an assassin identifies Nobu because “Nobunaga wears a rosary”. I go look it up, finds that it was false, and left it. Only recently do I find that it’s actually Nobutaka who wears the rosary. Only sometimes, but he does have one.

Not only did he refuse to allow surrender from Oyamada, he hunted down Shingen’s son and grandkids and killed most of them. Oh, and burning temples. Because... burning temples. That’s what the men of Oda clan like to do, right? (no, not really)

He should’ve been in armour, but I haven’t finished drawing armour for my lordlings huhuhuhu

Taking a break from inking SO MANY LINES and doodling the last batch of lordlings 

Hideyori is spoiled rotten by Hide, so he can be a little snobby. Just a little. Not as yasashii as Hide because of Uncle Inu and Uncle Kiyomasa’s bad influence. Still nice, but a bit more aggressive. 

Hidetada has a lot of issues. He probably gets terrorized by Yasu a lot because Yasu’s nasty habits die hard. Loves his family but isn’t all that close to his dad because of the aforementioned terrorizing. 

In this crack universe they;re the same age-ish. I just accidentally drew Hideyori wrong (sorry man, my hand’s default mode is drawing oyaji). 

Ufufufu, this crack universe’s version of  the Final Siege of Osaka is gonna be fun~ The sons of all 3 Saneiketsu meet and bicker~

Part of the LOL Tenka/SLBP “AU sequel” thing I like to draw, featuring the lords’ sons. Them poor spawns need more love

Katsuyori is Shingen’s son, Kagetora is Kenshin’s adopted son.

Kagetora is originally a Hojo, so I made him look like Hojo Ujiyasu. I have a sneaking suspicion Ujiyasu IS actually the Tenka version of Kagetora, but whatever. He can be grown-up Ujiyasu too.

It’s gonna be interesting designing Hidetada and Hideyori, derp

I looked through your Tenka Chorus tag and honestly I'm a little in love? Would you mind elaborating on it a bit--perhaps the premise and stuff? I love your drawings!

Yay! I’m happy you love my little lordlings. 

Originally I’m just drawing Nobuspawns because I love them LOLOLOL. Then I thought it would be fun to make a pretend-sequel and made other lordlings. 

I wanted it to be “encore” because Love BALLAD, you know, but with Nobuspawns and Katsuyori (probably Kagetora too) their story overlaps their fathers’, so “chorus”. LOLOLOL. 

The last pair that I haven’t drawn, Hidetada and Hideyori, are pretty out there, because generation gap with the other lordlings, but eh... Tenka/SLBP made Yukkin and Masa work, so I can always age-up them.

Mm, I wanted the “theme” to be arts (like poetry or dance or tea ceremony) instead of food, so the MC is a travelling artist/performer. And the “cooking contest” will be instead a “workshop” haha, producing items like fans or tea bowls or Noh masks (not sure if I want to include swords hehehe)

The MC is in the capital, then she heard assassins plotting to kill the lordlings (or their father). Like, the MC hears the assassins going, “So, remember, our target is...” Then that’s where the route split as she goes to find the lords to inform them of the plot. Something like that, maybe?

I guess she then comes with them because she needs a more steady job or something, haha.

At least... a “set” as in “a set of rival pairs”. I’m still missing Spawn Number Three to make it TRULY complete. 

Hahaha, in this pretend/fantasy/fanmade “sequel” (sort of) the rival pairs are Nobu’s two spawns, Shingen’s son VS Kenshin’s adopted son, and Hide’s son VS Yasu’s son. This “sequel” is WTF and won’t work TBH, but I JUST WANT TO HAVE MY FANTASY
