Exploring Temporary Van Insurance for Moving and Relocation ?
Exploring Temporary Van Insurance for Moving and Relocation: Flexibility on the Road
Moving house or relocating your business requires meticulous planning and careful execution. Securing reliable transportation for your belongings is a crucial aspect of the process. While many opt for hiring professional movers, others prefer the flexibility and control of a self-move. If you’re considering driving a van for your move in the United Kingdom, temporary van insurance can be a valuable option. Let’s explore the benefits of temporary van insurance and navigate the different types available to ensure a smooth and secure relocation.
Why Temporary Van Insurance?
Traditional annual van insurance policies aren’t always ideal for short-term needs. Temporary van insurance offers a flexible and cost-effective solution for those who only require van cover for a specific period, such as moving day or a business delivery. Here are some key advantages:
Cost Savings: You only pay for the cover you need. If you only need the van for a day or a few days, temporary insurance is significantly cheaper than a full-year policy.
Flexibility: Choose the exact duration of your cover, from a single day to a few weeks, depending on your moving or relocation needs.
Convenience: Temporary van insurance can be obtained quickly and easily, often online or through phone applications.
Peace of Mind: Drive with confidence knowing you’re covered in case of an accident or unforeseen event.
Types of Temporary Van Insurance:
Tempcovernow offers a variety of temporary van insurance options to suit your specific requirements in the United Kingdom:
Short Term Van Insurance: This is the most common type of temporary van insurance, providing cover for a specific period, typically ranging from a single day to a 28 days.
Single Day Van Insurance: Perfect for short-term needs like collecting a rental van or completing a one-day move.
Temporary Business Van Insurance: Ideal for businesses that need temporary van cover for occasional deliveries or special projects.
Temporary Courier Van Insurance: Offers cover for couriers and delivery drivers who require short-term van insurance.
Choosing the Right Cover:
When selecting temporary van insurance for your move in the United Kingdom, consider the following factors:
Duration of Cover: Determine the exact time frame you need the van for and choose the corresponding coverage period.
Van Type: Specify the type of van you’ll be driving, whether it’s a small panel van, a large Luton van, or a pick-up truck.
Driver Experience: Some temporary insurance providers may have restrictions on driver age or experience.
Level of Cover: Decide between comprehensive cover for maximum protection or third-party only (TPO) for a more basic level of cover.
Additional Considerations:
Breakdown Cover: Consider adding temporary breakdown cover to your temporary van insurance for added protection in case of a vehicle breakdown on the road.
Driver Restrictions: Be sure to check if there are any age or license restrictions for temporary van insurance policies.
Excess Fees: Temporary van insurance typically comes with an excess fee, which is the amount you’ll be responsible for paying in the event of a claim.
Benefits Beyond Moving:
Temporary van insurance isn’t just for relocation purposes. It can be a valuable tool in various situations, such as:
Borrowing a friend’s van for a weekend project.
Test driving a van before purchasing one.
Transporting a large item you’ve purchased.
Delivering furniture for a friend or family member.
Conclusion:
Temporary van insurance offers a convenient and affordable way to secure the necessary cover for your short-term van needs, particularly during a move or relocation in the United Kingdom. By choosing the right type of cover and considering all the factors involved, you can ensure a smooth and stress-free journey to your new destination. Start exploring temporary van insurance options today and embark on your next move with confidence!

Blah Blog
Had to be one. Just a list of typical days, with side notes on extra events/
Life here really is a routine, with little variation. All systems at Casa dan work, or are fixed promptly, so there,s no need to rearrange life to fix whatever is broken next as at home.
Awake at 6:30(full light), roll out ,hot water on, brush up,make coffee, gulp hot and get out for a walk before the heat.Usually it,s beach walk with a return along Calle Morro, the front street. Wave watch, pick beach trash plastic, and home up a side alley and steep stairs to the lookout benches. Not much of a view since the acacia tree has grown up in the center of the viewscape. Amusingly the same young squirrel is always eating the acacia seeds, hanging up side down to avoid the falling crumbs .It,s hot by 9 am, especially as i do climb the stairs/road non stop for a bit of cardio.
Breakfast, grapefruit, granola, yogurt, and fruit juice, same every day. Listen to BBCnews, read the mail, and choose a book. The extensive library has lots of new books but i often see some interesting title, only to discover that I read it last year. Hammocks make good reading spots , allowing impromptue naps.
At least once a week it,s shopping, either super Che department store or my favorito tienda, best quality, best prices. Access by a bus up Oaxaca Avenue, of walk up through the main market. 30 pounds of fruit! Tangerines, bananas, watermelon, papaya, vegies like potatoes(crispy, water filled, tasteless), onions ,peppers, tomatoes(uniform size/shape/lack of flavour),grapefruit, and odd bits like grapes(Chile), lichee, and whatever looks good. With Christmas coming and the ensuing run on cash machines I,m stocking up on Pesos for Januarys rent and running expense. There,s a cash machine(Santander bank) which dispenses 11000 pesos at a wack, but all machines give an exchange rate at least 5% below published rates, raking in a tidy profit. Credit cards cost 5% to use and still give the low rate, so it pays to pull out cash. The books were looking good until the travel insurance company finally posted their bill and the annual credit card fee came due. Walking down to the combi stop I saw a hole in the wall (lit) stand run by an ancient campesino and his ever eating wife. Crumbling camper for storage, from whence he produced a lump of Copal, fresh off the tree, and some local very dark honey. Once I ask in Spanish I get a detailed answer half of which is incomprehensible slang and accent. Some thing about organic watermelon..But my bags were already overloaded. Home by combi, an increasing number of which are city vans going to uphill neighbourhoods, much more comfortable and safely driven. There,s always the last shlep down the backstreet to Casa dan, and a grateful sigh upon dropping the overloaded bags. Fridge is full, freezer overflowing, who knew I ate so much?!
Lately lunch is an overflowing plate of salad, typically chopped romaine lettuce, skinned diced tomatoes, red pepper chopped fine, sprouts, avocado and a slobber of mayonaise. Filling, non fattening, healthy in as much as all this inorganic produce can be.
Work over it,s time for a swim in the ever cooling pool. Temp drops 1 degree a week. Down to 25, which feels cold enough for a rash guard shirt and some pretty fast laps. Hot shower, laundry, back to the hammock, book and siesta. Neighbours drop by with news(gossip) and books. Hot tip this week was that the Split Coconut bar (50 happy gringo drinkers all glad handing old pals.) had Ned Flanders live. Solo guitar, think Jimmy buffet doing covers with enthusiasm. I went down and into the pallet fenced area open to the beach with lots of shade. Here were Jimmy and Tracy , my buddys from the Yurimar dump hotel. They are moving next month to a much nicer and quieter place. Tracy is as bubbly as ever,(fueled by booze) and Jimmy is still slaying the fish, having just returned from a morning where they caught 2 sailfish, a big marlin, some dorado and a bunch of barellitos. They released the game fish. Rumours have Russian trawlers netting all the tuna and delivering to a factory freezer ship. We exchanged brief summarys of the past 8 months and agreed to go fishing next Friday. It,s my $100 Christmas gift to myself, with a chance of a load of fresh fish to eat.
Sunset up on the terraza with the local inmates, more gossip, news, and usually a spectacular sunset, Green flash or salmon bright ripples across the high clouds. The growing moon is a sliver in the west, flanked by Venus. and only the evening mosquitoe rise drives us down stairs to screened safety. There is dengue in Puerto, with some locals getting it twice. My bed net, bug zapper, and repellant spray are essential. I never want dengue again!
So that,s the intown stuff. I,ve been to Playa manzanillo weekly for snorkeling in warm water, and twice to Agua blanca way outof town for the authentic empty beach walk/palalpa shade /beach food experience. It,s a half hour on the bus and another half hour walk in. The tidal dipping pool has filled with sand during the last hurricane so I did swim on the west beach before the surf came up. Bit of body surfing, mostly just wave thrashing in the foam., I forgot my super water bottle first trip out but the ever helpful Casa dan receptionist tried the phone number and had the same lack of success I,d had(wasting my carefully rehearsed Spanish speech) but got them on facebook and they had the bottle. Back out , retrieved bottle and had a bonus beach day. Only odd note was I ordered Hueuvos rancheros (scrambled eggs with onions tomatoes and garlic) and got a slop of beans, and 3 deep fried eggs swimming in grease. Urp! It,s a hotter walk back out to the highway in the afternoon, but there is some tree shade and the sea breeze for cooling pauses. Always enjoyable to ride the clanking, rattling old busses, picking up and dropping off shoppers, school kids and old country women. True the driver does try to achieve escape velocity and somewhere finds a few extra top gears, but don't look ahead.
Only other note is that I,m sending pictures of local flowers to 4 women back home to cheer them up as winter descends Even I,m impressed with how many varied types and colours there are. A month of daily pics and still more to see. So that,s the report and I hope to have some more exciting news or at least some events to note. Surf competition was a bust with 6 meter waves one day and 1 meter the next, hardly fair. Next week is body boards and the stands are being built down at the beach crest, Will they have another big music blowout? Ranchero? Yippee!!

Best Moving Services in Tempe
Arizona residents need to make the right selection when it comes to finding affordable movers that meet their budgets, without compromising quality or affordability. By carefully considering all costs involved with moving and understanding how these costs impact each factor, informed decisions that align with both budget and timeline can help to ensure a seamless move experience.
Finding quality moving services in Tempe can be challenging, but don’t do it alone. With professional movers by your side, you can avoid common errors that waste both your time and money when making the move. From house moving in Mitchell Park West neighborhood or office relocation services in Tempe to packing services that handle every stage from loading, transport, unloading and even storage solutions they are ready to assist with any aspect of moving needs in Arizona.
Hauling companies in Tempe can be found through an online search or directly contacting an agency. Many are based in Phoenix and can be found all around town; others even operate out of multiple locations throughout Arizona. They are all regulated by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Department of Weights and Measures to ensure safe operations as well as compliance with ethical practices, plus carry liability insurance policies as required by state regulation.
Cost of moving depends on several factors, including its size and composition; vehicle choice will also have an effect. If planning a DIY move, downsizing and decluttering before hand could help lower moving expenses; otherwise professional full-service movers might be your most cost-effective option; take note of any HOA or community rules which might impact it as well.
Tempe’s local movers offer much more than residential hauling; they can assist with office relocations and storage needs as well as transport equipment and furniture for commercial moves. Their service can also be utilized by construction sites when they relocate equipment and furniture onsite for use at construction sites or for expanding operations. Furthermore, Tempe movers provide storage options which can temporarily house items before being put into their new locations.
Before hiring a moving company in Tempe, be sure to conduct due diligence on their reputation and customer satisfaction record. A reliable and reputable moving service should offer transparent pricing, flexible service options, background-checked movers and easy online account management; plus they should provide you with a detailed estimate for your move and will keep you updated as to its progress at all times.
Tempe movers should provide reliable and cost-effective moving services while being licensed, insured, bonded, registered with Arizona Department of Public Safety and Department of Transportation and affiliated with a van line network that offers access to shared resources and training programs.

Before the Fall - CH3 - Epilogue
The next month was a whirlwind of social obligations and paperwork. Luckily for Liz and Louis, her late husband had always insisted on a life insurance policy for everyone in the family, including himself. Several times a week, Liz would find a casserole dish on her doorstep along with a cliché spouting card from a kind neighbor. John volunteered to mow the yard, and even at her teary request, rip out every single stinking geranium bush. People would visit without the expectations of a formal visit, meaning Liz easily get away with her comfortable clothes, a cup of coffee and barely any makeup. She made sure to keep up appearances for the appropriate amount of time, dropping it slowly before she started to wear out the good intentions of her neighbors. Liz soaked it all in, knowing it wouldn’t last for long.
Louis, meanwhile, was slowly coming to terms with the massive change in his life. While Liz helped him as he struggled with his grief, part of him seemed lighter. He had stopped acting as if he was walking on eggshells all the time. He seemed freer. Liz knew it was hard on him, but she was glad to see her little boy slowly returning to himself. She was a bit disappointed when he had taken such joy picking out an old tie to remember his father when Liz was purging Blake’s closet, but she understood. Soon there would be very little around to remember him by. It was ‘too painful’, the convenient excuse she used whenever some well-meaning friend would inquire.
Liz traded Blake’s massive truck for something older but more sensible for the two of them. She dreamed of getting something fun someday, but put it off.
Asking around the neighborhood, she coaxed a few of the working ladies to get her a temp job in their office’s typing pool. It was mindless busy work, but with a few choice words and a favor or two, Liz was well on her way to the top of the pecking order, getting the premium jobs. Over the years living under her ex-husband’s thumb, she had learned to live make every dollar count. She made sure Louis wouldn’t miss out on anything if she could help it. They soon fell into a cozy routine, freeing themselves of the shadow of the monster who had lived in their home. A nest egg grew slowly but steadily and soon a rusty red convertible with a jittery engine appeared in the driveway.
One early morning after getting Louis on the school bus, Liz chatted with Agnes over the fence. Her warm cup of coffee in her hands keeping the slight chill of the early morning from her fingers.
“I can’t believe my eyes! Your roses have rebounded so well, dear!” Agnes nodded towards the back yard. “They were looking quite rough for a while.”
Liz nodded. Her beloved roses had rebounded beautifully after being crushed and subsequently ‘watered’ by a heavy corpse. “Maybe I will get some nice red ones to go with them, add some color to the yard.”
“Oh, that would be lovely! But really, Liz, you must tell me your gardening secrets!”
Liz grinned. “A master gardener can’t give all her secrets away!”
Something across the street caught Agnes’ attention. She craned her neck to get a better look. Curious, Liz turned to see Mrs. Callahan, the local realtor, pulling up in her Corvega Blitz with a green Chryslus close behind.
Liz took a steaming sip. “Isn’t that the fourth showing this week?” The realtor stepped onto the sidewalk and waited for a smartly dressed couple to join her. “I wonder when they will finally close a sale on that house. It seems a shame for such a nice place to sit vacant for so long.” The couple disappeared into the house after making a circuit around the house, as the realtor held the door. Liz noticed they had not stopped holding hands the whole time.
“It would be nice to have another family around.” Agnes mused wistfully.
“You just want more little kids to swoon over your whoopee pies at the block party!”
The friends continued to chat over the fence. Liz was wondering if the long showing was a good sign for Mrs. Callahan’s business ledger. Eventually, the realtor lead the smiling couple out to the porch. Heads nodded. Now everyone was smiling and shaking hands.
“Nice,” Liz smiled. “That looks promising.”
They walked to their respective vehicles. Liz noticed a small placard on the couple’s Chryslus.
“You see that, Agnes?” Liz nodded across the street. “Looks like John will have another drinking buddy down at the VA hall.”
She squinted. “Oh, that is a veteran plate, isn’t it?!”
The next day, the ‘for sale’ sign was removed and a few weeks later a moving van pulled up towing a green Chryslus. Liz made sure she was the first in the neighborhood to shake the couple’s hands.
“Welcome to the neighborhood!” she beamed, casserole dish in hand. “My name is Liz Rosa. Me and my boy, Louis, live right across the street. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of each other.”
“Hi! Thank you.” the wife took the warm dish out of Liz’s hands. “I’m Nora Smith. That handsome man there holding the box is my husband, Nate.”
Nate craned his neck to see around the large cardboard box in his arms. “Nice to meet you!” he called before ducking into the house.
“Is there anything I can help with?” Liz asked. “I’m a lot tougher than I look, ya know.”

Spending Christmas Alone
It’s been over a year since I posted my cry for help in 2018, and I still remember it and the overwhelming response to it. The money I’ve received helped me and my family a lot to starve off eviction. Good news it that due to some foresight I took when I was at the Prince Georges County Social Services Office I was able to get Social Security Disability Insurance around March 2019. I had to use over half of the backpay to support my parents who still could not get a job no matter how hard they tried. I was also burnt out from emotionally, physically, and financially care-giving and I’ve been running on zero for years, despite the fact that I’ve gotten SSDI and this source of the burn out is from my parents. Ending my own life was not option and abandoning my parents isn’t an option because everyone in my family will call me a pile of shit instead of stepping up in my absence. I was simply forced to endure it because no one else wants to help.
I was simply forced to endure until I could not deal with it anymore. And that point came when my autistic brother had a seizure while on the his laptop and my mother was upset and screaming fearing that my brother is going to die. I could not control her emotions no matter what I done in the past, it was all bioscripted. After the incident, and the day where I visited the hospital and told my mom politely that I can’t support the family anymore and I did all I could as my brother needs round the clock care.
It took me 10 days from that to starting packing and starting to find a place to live, and for me for a person who knows no one that can help and public housing and section 8 is non existent anywhere, it was pure luck that I found a room in a house for 650 dollars and near a bus line to a metrorail station. I had to pay it out of my own pocket and from the student loan refund because social services explicitly told me that unless you have children or pregnant, regardless of disability, they will not help you with moving or rental assistance.
At one point, and I was serious, I planned to just put all of my stuff into storage, everything and just traveled across the country, because is relatively cheaper to live as a homeless person on SSDI and food stamps than to pay any money for a roof over your head.
My brother is at a group home, my mom and dad are making sure he’s doing ok and good. I’ve signed up for a part time care-giving service so I can be paid when I have to visit my parents to watch my brother. Unfortunately I have to wait for my pay to come because my first check I was supposed to received in direct deposit was sent by check instead and they it was lost in the mail. So I have to wait until next week Friday to receive it.
My mom finally has a job, paying 15 dollars a hour for the next six months with a possibility for being hired permanently. She’s also trying to get a small business running to make money on transporting elderly people to and from places using a used van. As for the house, it’s already three months behind, and I’ve told my parents to sell the house or rent it out if we can’t catch up with the mortgage. I’ve done all I could, and I’ve done enough. I come back to check on them on a periodic basis to make sure that the house is OK and make sure the trash and recycling is taken out. She’s also filed for bankruptcy, which means all of her debts are clean off.
As for me, I might has my independence back, but I’m paying for it for the rest of my life. Credit cards deb thave since been defaulted which I have to pay of for the rest of my life, same thing with student loans. This is because I’m unemployable due to a number of reasons that normal people can’t and don’t want to understand. Too many employers, even temp agencies don’t want a gap, and despite having relevant skills, too many employers don’t take resume reading seriously.
And NO, employers don’t accept caregiving as volunteer experience. Caregiving is not something you volunteer as you get nothing from it when you’re done caregiving or can’t do it anymore other than “just go to social services”.
And you will not believe the unsociltzed advice and advice dumps I get when I tell people online about my ordeal: Go watch a movie, travel, go date. Do I look I have money for all of this? And go date? Dating has changed, everyone uses phone apps to date. Worse, after age 30 you’re not supposed supposed to approach people anymore. Society has changed, and most people are stuck in the Pre-Great Recession era when it comes to getting social relations advice and job advice.
And too many employers for good paying jobs want a credit check and many will not hire anyone with a bad credit rating for any reason. This includes federal jobs, because there’s simply too many people who are in a better life position than I do. So I’m basically unemployed for life.
Oh why not the gig economy? I don’t have a car for most of them.
As for my relatives that refused to help or didn’t want to help, I can tell you straight up, that none of them offered me or my parents any help since I moved away. None of them. More proof that caregivers are just disposable and just told to shove themselves back into the job market. It worth nothing that none of them called me to say Merry Christmas, not even my friends or people I know who I contact on a regular basis. I basically don’t exist.
And this is one part of many of my life is destroyed by caregiving. I’m expected to rebuild my life with the scraps of what’s left of society that has radically changed in the past 5 years. It’s very difficult to reenter society as a ex-caregiver because there’s no resources online, and resources available are those assuming you have a large inhertance given to you. I have no motivation to live, no desires, and the interests I used to have are just chores. Chores to make sure that people who knew I was struggling for years, see that I’m still alive and I have not ended it my life. Aniem conventions, tv shows, anime, films, games, they’re all chores that I do so I won’t have to think about ending my life because my future no longer exist.
The only reason I’m not dead is because my parents would be upset, the people who know me but don’t contact me on facebook or whatever will be upset.
Even people I know, suddenly turn into social landmines because of something I did that I was out of my control, and already one of my convention exhibiters became a social landmine immediately. I didn’t knew she was going to turn into a landmine because all the years I’ve could have developed social skills was diverted to being a unpaid therapist to my long-unemployed mom. It’s simply not fair that I have to pay for this for the rest of my life for things too many people proudly take for granted.
I have too many things I wanted to do: It’s not a bucket list but a Dead List: Things I have to do before election day 2020, everything that I wanted to do before my life was stolen when I was forced to caregive for five years. After Election Day 2020, I’m done. I don’t belong in a society that has become unsympathic to caregivers or those pushed out of the lifescript or it has become polarized politically polarized. And I don’t see a future for American society other than a dystopic hellworld that I’m not equipped for and there is no future for me other than existing day to day just experiencing a dystopian hellworld that I have no interest seeing because I already know how 2020 will end and no one will believe me. If I was not forced to caregiver, I would not be worried about this, I would be more than prepared, but for me I have no interest experiencing a dystopia so that others won’t be upset.
I wanted to post this on tumblr so bad, but I had no energy to write or type this out or to post because the motivation is simply gone. While I’m back in school, all I’m doing is building more debt.
As for this Christmas? I spent it alone, I’ve only called my parents to say merry Christmas and see how they were all doing including my autistic brother. And the only thing I ate is a large baked chicken I’ve bought two weeks ago that I didn’t had the motivation to eat until today. And someone had to audacity on Reddit to insist I have a merry Christmas, even though I expressed misery.
I even didn’t had the energy to promote my gofundme because I simply don’t have a celebrity that can help me. Because in this day and age, unless you know someone that can help or have gobbs of money there is no way out of poverty.
So yeah a person with autism who has his life destroyed by caregiving, and no relative or friend or loved one to spend time with on Christmas. More proof that ex-caregivers are worthless to society despite how “noble” and “admirable” they are. But not noble enough for society to help them when they’re done caregiving and when isolated and alienated.

Back to the Van
Thx to the kindness of a stranger, we were able to stay in a motel for a few days. Unfortunately, our time is up. We are hurting financially. What little I get is paying for the car insurance and for 2 massive storage units which are where all our things are. After I pay those bills, there is just nothing left.
The water pump on the van is going. We were able to get a few things of antifreeze to put in the van. The temps here have been going below 30 at night. We have to baby the van until we can get it fixed.
We need help. We're still waiting for a waiting list to open. It's a horrible waiting game. Meanwhile, we have to live in the van. My disability makes it difficult. The cold temps have messed up my asthma and my physical limitations have made staying in the van very painful.
What hurts the most is that our 15 yr old daughter spent Thanksgiving somewhere else. I hate having my family split up. I hate not having a stable roof over all our heads. I hate not having a home. I can live without a turkey, but living without my daughter hurts.
Please help and please share.

They have been very skilled, efficient, courteous and of course on time. The males were cautious in my clients’ home, professional, polite and prepared to go above and past at every flip. Comparing Quotes: A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting the Best Business Vehicle Insurance Rates ?
In the dynamic world of business, having the right insurance for your vehicles is crucial. Business vehicle insurance not only protects your assets but also ensures that your operations run smoothly without unexpected financial hiccups. In the United Kingdom, navigating through the various options for business vehicle insurance can be daunting. This guide aims to simplify the process, helping you compare quotes effectively to secure the best rates for your needs.
Understanding Business Vehicle Insurance
Business Vehicle Insurance is designed to cover vehicles used for business purposes. This includes cars, vans, and trucks that are integral to your operations, whether for transporting goods, meeting clients, or providing services. The coverage typically includes liability, collision, comprehensive, and sometimes additional options like theft and fire damage.
Why Compare Quotes?
Comparing quotes from different insurers is essential for several reasons:
Cost Efficiency: It helps you find the most cost-effective option that meets your coverage needs.
Coverage Options: Different insurers offer various coverage packages and limits.
Customer Service: Comparing can give you insights into the quality of service provided by different insurers.
Discounts and Benefits: Some insurers offer discounts for bundling policies or for having a good driving record.
Step-by-Step Guide to Comparing Business Vehicle Insurance Quotes
Step 1: Assess Your Needs
Before you start comparing quotes, it’s essential to understand your specific needs. Consider the following:
Type of Vehicles: Are you insuring cars, vans, or trucks?
Usage: How often and for what purposes are the vehicles used?
Drivers: Who will be driving the vehicles? Do they have good driving records?
Coverage Required: What level of coverage do you need? Basic liability or comprehensive?
Step 2: Gather Information
To get accurate quotes, you will need to provide detailed information about your vehicles and drivers. This includes:
Vehicle make, model, and year
Vehicle identification number (VIN)
Driver’s license information
Annual mileage
Purpose of use
Step 3: Research Insurers
Look for reputable insurers that specialise in Business Vehicle Insurance. Some insurers may offer better rates for specific types of vehicles or businesses. Consider both large, well-known companies and smaller, specialised insurers.
Step 4: Get Multiple Quotes
Using online comparison tools can be an effective way to gather multiple quotes quickly. Ensure you are getting quotes for the same level of coverage to make an accurate comparison. For example, if you need 1 day business car insurance or temporary van insurance for business use, make sure these specifics are included in your request.
Step 5: Compare Coverage
Don’t just look at the price. Compare what each policy covers. Important factors to consider include:
Liability Limits: Make sure the limits meet your needs.
Comprehensive and Collision Coverage: Check the deductibles and what is covered.
Additional Coverages: Some policies might include extras like roadside assistance or rental car coverage.
Exclusions: Be aware of what is not covered by the policy.
Step 6: Check for Discounts
Many insurers offer discounts that can lower your premium. Ask about:
Multi-Vehicle Discounts: If you are insuring multiple vehicles.
Safe Driver Discounts: For drivers with clean records.
Bundling Discounts: If you bundle your vehicle insurance with other business policies.
Usage-Based Discounts: If your vehicles have low annual mileage.
Step 7: Review the Insurer’s Reputation
Customer reviews and ratings can provide valuable insights into an insurer’s reliability and customer service quality. Look for reviews specifically related to claims processing, as this is where service quality truly matters.
Step 8: Make an Informed Decision
After gathering all the information, compare the quotes side by side. Consider the overall value offered by each policy, not just the price. Choose the policy that provides the best combination of coverage, service, and cost.

Many factors will influence the cost of your insurance premiums. The more risks you pose the greater the rate he is going to pay. In many states, car insurance is set by law. Ok so i’m moving while unemployed and my best reference faces investigations for alleged russian collusion as employment prospects dim, and here’s some new trouble I’m in:
I had to spend 630 for meds on top of the premium a couple weeks ago, this is from the 450 transaction, the 180 is on a receipt in a box somewhere:
my temp gig with the marathon isn’t paying until at least two weeks from now, all while trying to move with this much in the hole:
i’m away from my husband in another country, and they’ve gotten me over the hurdle of renting a van for the move and fronting rent since unemployment insurance won’t be deposited until a few days after the first, but we’re strained what with me being unemployed and trying to find work and them as a part time worker/full time student.
I hate asking but the content’s pretty good, so if you can help a struggling queer brown rètard regain some balance, Paypal is here and this is the other one the cash me.
thanks y’all!

Don’t fight the universe
The dolomite hiking in 2018 had left a strong impression. It was one of those journeys that spoke to my soul in a way that words cannot describe. I thought about that trip all the time. Saw more YouTube videos of the area. Read blogs. Read Amelia Edwards and about her journey through the dolomites and its nearby towns. I was crazy about it.
It was now Autumn of 2019 and I was ready for another trip. I was going to spend a week in Corvara and do all of those things as last time. I had also planned to visit Stefan in Leipzig and we were going to also travel someplace together. It was going to be perfect. It had to be. I had planned it that way.
And it was. But not really how it was supposed to be.
The last year in Pinnakl had been rougher than anything can be, something I felt at the time, and I was going to be proved wrong, and by a lot. But that story is for another time. I had not been well with sinuses, lingering sore throats and just overall not feeling healthy. I did everything to get better, took an antibiotic course, ate turmeric – lots of it, took vitamin supplements – lots of them, drank ginger tea – lots of it too, but did not see much of a change. Not too sick to cancel the trip but not healthy enough to look forward to the dolomites. I also did last minute workouts of 10 rounds of my 5 floors of stares, to build cardiovascular endurance. I felt dizzy in the end.
The day came. I pushed myself and flew to Berlin where Stefan picked me up in his van, that had been modified to perfection to accommodate Stefan and Franzi’s needs of long distance travels all the way from North East Germany to South of France with proper sleeping setup for them and for Holly altogether. That night Franzi had made Roulade, something she only does for Christmas, the meat was from the special butcher across the town that Stefan had biked to. It was the most set up a dinner table can be. A great evening amongst friends was had.
The next day we hung out in Leipzig town and did nothing of note. The following morning, I woke up with a fever of 105. Stefan was surprised that I had brought my thermometer! He figured I was not well before the trip. Maybe he did not like it but I was too sick to care for all that.
I had never had that high of fever. Ever. We canceled our trip to the woods in State of Saxony. It was the weekend so there was no access to the doctor, nor I had any health insurance to feel comfortable to access one. Next couple days I would load up on the maximum dosage of paracetamol and my temp would come back down to a comfortable 102! I had found a flight back to Chicago middle of next week. Stefan and Franzi felt that giving this relaxation to my body brought up what had been breeding underneath. And I needed to continue to my vacation otherwise I would not get better. It made no sense. One is not supposed to continue a vacation when they had been sick for months and now find comfort in 102 temperature.
Coming Monday, Stefan finagled his way through the German beurocracy and got me an appointment (he lied that the appointment was for him and then negotiated when we reached there). Doctor was wonderful. Figured it was some virus and by now I was getting better already. Stefan also negotiated a week of sick leave for himself.
In a few days, but days that seemed like an eternity, I got better. I would join Stefan is daily chores like taking Holly for a walk. In the next few days we checked out Leipzig, its atelier district, the old town, the schnitzel guy in the forest that I was told I had to try, the antique restoration shop with a 600 euros chair, the bakery across the street with croissants for breakfast. Stefan was a tourist in his own town. It was a new experience for everyone. One day we even made a trip to the town of Dresden. It’s historic center was incredible and the town squares were huge and almost panoramic. In the evenings I would spend time with Franzi in the kitchen. Some nights Robert would stop by. We would all chat in English. Drink. Some would smoke. Talk philosophy. With Holly walking in and out of the rooms.
New relationships were formed. Deeper than they were supposed to be. I did not plan this. I did know what to do this. I saw Stefan and Franzi doing better together and I hoped they would be back to their best.
By now I had cancelled my dolomites trip. I was better but not to a point of hiking mountains! Manfred never responded to my email requesting cancelation. He is clearly upset with me.
I figured the rest of the trip needs to be at some place warm. After looking at hundreds of destinations from Berlin, I figured Spain is the place to be at that time of the year.
I spent a few days in Valencia followed by a few days in Barcelona in Casa Gracia. It was a hostel stay in a multi bed dorm room after years! I had met Carla, Nicki and Amit in free city walk tour, organized by the hostel each day. That night I went on a date with Mary Hollander from Holland! My crew wanted me to join them for dinner but understood that I had different plans. Mary and I went to eat at a nice restaurant a few minutes away from the hostel. The food and the wine were delicious and we then bar hopped to two bars! She was enchanting, a great conversationalist whose company I was enjoying, and all in all, a great time night was had.
I have lately felt that things happen if they are meant to. If the universe has a different plan for me, then I need to stop fighting. I had wished hiking dolomites again for a year but the universe had a different plan for me. I should have listened. But If I had, I would have never gotten to know Stefan this well and it seems like a friendship that should last a few years.

Complaining
complaining complaining
I’m just...bothered.... I mean, twice now, I’ve left a job that, hey, I wasn’t fired, and it paid, even if I was treated like shit, and wasn’t respected in the least and didn’t get paid what I felt would’ve been a fair wage for feeling like I was always cleaning up someone else’s mess..... And obviously, I could really use the money, but like, at the same time, it’s not like my dad is hounding me to get a job, making me feel worthless and useless. I just really need the money--with no money at all, I can’t go see my brother graduate his program, and I already had to miss my sister finish her program. With no money at all, I can’t get my license, and I sure as hell am not finishing my van. I should’ve just stayed with the second job, even if I did get turned down for full employment. It just sucked so hard that I would’ve been well past my contract and the temp agency still would’ve kept taking that money....y’know, money I could’ve used..... I’m going on three weeks, and I’m not really panicking so much for myself, as for like, I feel like I owe my brother this shot of support and obviously my loans get me into a panic all the time and I’m not going anywhere with nothing in my pocket. I mean, my van doesn’t run on air. I’ll let you know when I figure out how to run it on solar. And worst of all, another summer is going to pass me by when I should be starting my product line and I’ll be stuck struggling to find gainful employment.
My schmuck ass was supposed to call the one place back right away, and didn’t, and I was supposed to call the other place at three and yesterday I meant to and I just...wanted to enjoy my van.... I’m stabbing myself in the back...
I have no options because I have no license; but with no job, I will have no license. And yeah, sure, maybe instead of trying to beat winter and renovate my van, I should’ve shelled out some cash toward driving school. When am I going to learn to stop trying to be optimistic and just be.....I dunno, what would that even be? Taking care of the highest priorities...? I just...stupidly thought my dad would be able to help me get more driving practice, but I wonder if the reason he never taught his children to drive was because he just isn’t a very good teacher. He’s too preoccupied with trying to show off how good he is and how easy it is, instead of trying to empathize. At least if I’d faced reality and looked into professional driving lessons, I definitely would have gone that route, and I definitely would more likely than not have my license right now.... Instead of being jobless.
Then after getting said license, maybe brakes and insurance would have been higher on my priorities list....and I wouldn’t be stuck in this situation, straining my brain to figure out what jobs are available around me..... How do I always do this, I choose a series of tasks that is completely out of order, and then I find myself stuck in a corner. I quit WalMart without a backup, because my ex needed a job and I figured we could find something together. Didn’t focus on getting my license as I should have then. Left myself in a situation where saving money wasn’t feasible. Got stuck back at my parents’. Got a solid work situation, wanted to focus on the van till I burned out, avoided trying to learn about professional driving instruction, and it didn’t even occur to me to install solar in my van before I was done fixing it up.
So now I’m stuck in this toxic environment with this godawful person who is certifiable and I have no job and I’m kind of making myself sick sleeping too much. But I’m only sleeping so much because I haven’t slept well since late summer, and I’m sleeping largely on the cement floor.
I literally don’t know what to do. All that’s really left to do is make those calls that I’ve been avoiding out of not wanting to be pestersome. I mean, I’m really just stabbing myself in the foot with that wanting to be polite bullshit. I want a fucking job. I’m even going so far as to strain my brain to figure out what I can do for cash in the meantime.
This time around, unfortunately too little too late, I know what I need to do.
I just kind of wish my dad would give up on this assignment. He’s pretty miserable, and at least if we go back to the agency, maybe we can both find something. I really, really don’t know what to do if every last place I applied to turns me down....

Latest story from https://movietvtechgeeks.com/donald-trump-ready-different-america/
Is Donald Trump ready for a very different America?
President-elect Donald Trump has a penchant for the 1980’s, but as his inauguration looms closer, it’s very noticeable that America is very different than it was back in the days of Reaganomics.
The week after Donald Trump was elected president, Dr. Mai-Phuong Nguyen and two dozen other Vietnamese-Americans active in liberal causes gathered in a circle of folding chairs, consoling one another about an America almost beyond comprehension.
Now, days before Trump takes the oath of office, Nguyen sits in a restaurant booth in Orange County’s neon-lit Little Saigon and studies perhaps the most confounding face of the divide exposed by the election – her father’s.
“All I know is, if a man makes $100 million he is really something,” Son Van Nguyen, 76, says of Trump.
Here in a county transformed by waves of newcomers, the elder Nguyen – a government translator airlifted from South Vietnam with his family in 1975 as Communist forces pressed in on the capital – built a new life as a record-setting life insurance salesman, watching people strive and struggle.
“And I know a lot of people out there sit there and wait for welfare,” he says, explaining his hopes that Trump will rein in such spending and create jobs.
“But he is trying to prevent other people from coming in and enjoying some of the same things you came here for, Dad,” says his daughter, a 47-year-old physician who pushed for health care reform and fears Trump will take away the medical coverage it extended to millions of Americans. “If he does wrong, are you going to support him?”
Their disagreement is a reminder that for Orange County, just as for the rest of the country, there has never been a moment quite like this one.
When Hillary Clinton won this county of 3.2 million in November, it marked the first time the OC had backed a Democrat for president since Franklin Roosevelt. Best known for Disneyland, and long a hothouse of conservatism in a blue state, it was the largest county in the country to flip.
The shift was expected eventually. Orange County’s citrus groves turned to tract housing decades back to welcome a mostly white influx from Los Angeles and Midwestern states. Today, though, Santa Ana’s quinceanera shops reflect a county that is a third Latino. One in five Orange Countians is Asian.
The hopes and anxieties stirred by Trump’s inauguration spotlight even more complicated tensions.
Most Vietnamese traditionally voted for Republicans, viewed as opponents of communism. But many of their adult children, also refugees, see Trump as rejecting American ideals and people like them.
Local Republicans, who once embraced the John Birch Society and recently erected a statue of Ronald Reagan in the park where he launched two White House bids, long espoused a muscular conservatism. Most voted for Trump, but not without soul-searching.
At Jimmy Camp’s house, a “No Trump” sign made by Camp’s son still hangs in the window. Heading out to feed his family’s a goat and potbellied pig, Camp recalls his start in Republican politics three decades ago – knocking on doors for candidates to earn cash.
Camp played guitar in a rock band then and embraced platforms calling for government to stay out of people’s lives. He’d always loved the outdoors in a county that stretches from the ocean to the Santa Ana Mountains. After meeting county native Richard Nixon, he read up on the disgraced president’s often forgotten chartering of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Camp became one of the state’s busiest Republican political consultants. Then, last summer he emailed fellow Republicans, renouncing his party membership because of his disgust with Trump.
“If you go through and look at everything Jesus said in the Bible, this guy is opposite of it,” says Camp, 52, a pastor’s son.
Camp, who has friends from Iran and Egypt, cringes at a president who would castigate Muslims as supposedly tied to terrorists, though he doubts Trump will fulfill his most extreme rhetoric.
“I hope he doesn’t drive us off a cliff,” Camp says. “I hope that we survive the next four years. I think we will.”
Others voice confidence in Trump.
Gloria Pruyne says her family had reservations about Trump’s morality early on. But the conservative activist ended up knocking on more than 500 doors to get out the vote. Now Pruyne, 78, says she wants Trump to install a conservative Supreme Court justice, revoke an Affordable Care Act she blames for a $500 increase in her family’s monthly insurance bill, and back Israel.
“We’re looking forward to a radical change with this president,” she says.
With the inauguration approaching, Ron Brindle has no plans to remove the 5-foot-square portrait of Trump from his oil well fronting a main road in Huntington Beach. Brindle bought this land for his tree nursery business more than 40 years ago. Today, it is surrounded by tract homes, many owned by Asian families.
“Now I don’t have anything against any of them, but what happened to the country?” Brindle says.
The first thing Trump should do, he says, is close the border so Americans no longer have to foot the bill to care for foreigners. But Brindle also hopes that Trump will reach out to skeptics.
Steven Mai is ready to listen. Mai, a 42-year-old registered Republican, rejected Trump for criticizing the Muslim parents of a slain American soldier.
But Trump will be his president, Mai says.
Still, if Trump really wants to lead, he should come to places like Orange County, says Mai’s wife, Tammy Tran. He could work in a sandwich shop for a few hours or see what it’s like to care for an elderly person. Maybe then, the couple say, Trump will understand his responsibility to the many Americas.
“I just hope he’s going to be the president that my parents were thinking,” Mai says. “If he can be a good president, then we all benefit.”
The Big American Party Switch
Towns along the Susquehanna River are filled with people whose grandparents worked in coal mines, garment factories and small manufacturing companies. But those jobs are long gone in Luzerne County, and Wilkes-Barre, the county seat, has seen its population drop by more than half. Dozens of public officials have fallen to scandal.
All of which helps explain how Ed Harry – who, at 70, has spent most of his working life as a union president and a Democratic party activist, running phone banks for candidates and even serving as a delegate for Bill Clinton in 1992 – became an unlikely apostle for Donald Trump.
When the billionaire businessman and reality TV star entered the presidential race, “I laughed, like everyone else,” Harry says. Then he took note of Trump’s opposition. “The Rs said they hated him, the Ds wanted no part of him, the lobbyists didn’t like him. China came out against him, India came out against him, Mexico came out against him.
“And I said, ‘I think I might have a candidate.'”
Harry, who had grown disillusioned with what he saw as Washington’s broken and corrupt politics, switched parties, publicly endorsed Trump and resigned his labor post. He expects the new president to renegotiate trade deals and reduce corporate taxes, which he believes will help lure back manufacturing jobs. And he is not alone.
In Luzerne County, Trump crushed Hillary Clinton by 20 points – in no small part because lifelong Democrats like Harry believed she was the candidate of Wall Street, ignoring the working class while taking its vote for granted. As Trump enters office, these largely older, white, blue-collar voters want him to keep his promise on manufacturing jobs, rebuild deteriorating roads and bridges, crack down on illegal immigration and “drain the swamp.”
“There’s no hope the way things were,” Harry explains. “It had to be something different.”
And listen to Tom Pikas, who is also counting on Trump to bring change. The 61-year-old Wilkes-Barre native remembers a time when you could easily get a decent-paying job right out of high school. He worked in a shoe factory, then for an electrical contractor, and downtown Wilkes-Barre pulsed with life. “This used to be a nice town,” Pikas says.
More recently, Pikas has toiled in a series of temp jobs, the last one paying $8 an hour. Now looking for work, he found himself at the unemployment office this month, enrolling in a jobs program for seniors. The waiting area was packed.
He has faith that Trump will find a way to turn things around but also counsels patience. “Some people expect he’s gonna do miracles the first month,” Pikas says. “No. No. You gotta at least give the guy a year.”
At a bar up the street, William Chase, 55, a construction foreman recovering from surgeries to his back and both knees, says most of the people in his circle are as hopeful about the future as he is.
“I want to be proud of my area again,” he says.
But just 90 minutes or so down the road, one hears a very different set of voices.
In the wealthy Philadelphia suburbs, where million-dollar homes are advertised for sale and luxury cars fill the parking lot of an organic grocery, the pocketbook issues raised in Luzerne County take a back seat for many.
As Inauguration Day draws near, many people in Chester County – Pennsylvania’s richest, where Clinton won by roughly 9 points despite a Republican majority – remain unsettled by Trump’s volatility, demeanor and offensive comments about women, immigrants and others.
“He kind of frightens me,” says business owner Keely Comstock Shaw, 34, who voted a straight Republican ticket, except for the top office.
“I see him as really breaking all the rules, throwing them all aside, and that’s what is scary to me,” adds Kate Young, a 43-year-old Democrat and stay-at-home mom who lives in West Chester, a bustling college town.
The 2016 election compelled Young to become politically active for the first time. Upset that her candidate won the popular vote but lost the Electoral College vote, she joined an organization that’s fighting to end gerrymandered legislative districts.
Young predicts Trump will ignore global warming, roll back environmental protections and create a hostile environment for women and minorities. She also doubts he will be able to produce the manufacturing jobs that voters in places like Luzerne County say they want, citing the rise of automation.
“If that’s what people were hoping to get,” she says, “I just think the world economy is moving in a different direction.”
