Hányokbl a szerbektől, antiszemita bunkók!
A legvéresebb események színhelye a Temerin melletti Csúrog (Curug), Zsablya (Zabalj) és Mozsor (Mosorin) volt, ahol szinte a teljes magyar lakosságot kiirtották. Csúrogon 1944 októberében a partizánosztagok házról-házra járva szedték össze az embereket, akiket megkínoztak, majd nyilvánosan kivégeztek. A katolikus templomot ledöntötték, a katolikus temetőt feldúlták, az áldozatok tetemét sintérgödörbe dobálták vagy a szeméttelepen szórták szét. Ugyanez történt a magyar lakossággal a közeli Zsablyán és Mozsoron, a megtorlás áldozatainak holttestét itt is tömegsírokba temették. A három település lakóit 1945 elején háborús bűnösöknek nyilvánították, vagyonukat elkobozták, hozzátartozóikat megbélyegezték. A vérengzés túlélőit gyalogmenetben a tiszaistvánfalvai (Backi Jarak) gyűjtőtáborba vitték, ahol hat-nyolc hónapot kellett eltölteniük. A nélkülözésekbe több mint hatezren belehaltak, köztük több száz gyerek volt, a túlélők nem térhettek vissza otthonaikba.

Festercult - The Brimstone Eloquence
Death Metal from Temerin, Serbia
Stylistically, they are certainly rooted in death metal and mainly draw on classic old-school traditions, but they have chosen to go their own way rather than follow in the footsteps of others. Sometimes you can clearly hear their influences, but at the same time they always try to give each song their own touch and explore new soundscapes without settling on a particular sound. They have always admired bands that take a rather unconventional or avant-garde approach to music, and this is probably also reflected in their own creativity.

another random bit from the first chapter of princess rising
DAEMIAN
Standing silently hidden in the shadow of the back alleys of Temerin, Daemian fidgeted impatiently. Kiria was supposed to have been there an hour ago. She had sent out a letter two days ago. After not seeing each other for 7 years, he was a bit surprised. She had told him everything that had happened since she was recruited to the Order of the Red and that she wanted out, had a plan to make it and wanted him to leave with her. . Kiria was his baby sister, and he'd feel responsible if she got hurt trying to get away on her own, so he made the arrangements she’d asked, secured her horse and had Steele waiting for them to get there. But Kiria was late. He’d been here 2 hours and if they didn’t get out in the next hour, they might not get out unseen. The Ravens security counsel would be checking exits and locking down the city for the night soon and when that happened, there would be little chance of not being seen in this city, not that it’d even slow them that much; he and Kiria could just kill anyone who tried to bother them. The problem was avoiding the others that would be sent after them when they were discovered to be missing. That would be tricky part. The first few teams likely wouldn’t be too much of a problem and if it was just him alone running, they would likely leave it at that, but it wasn’t just him. Kiria was a mid level assassin within the Order of the Red. A highly trained, exceptional, heavily invested, all-female order within the assassin group Ravens of Temerin. There were only a handful of women in the order and the few who tried to escape was tracked down and dragged back and tortured until they broke. No mid-level member had ever even tried to escape, at least none that Daemian had heard about and while he wasn’t sure who they’d send, it wouldn’t be rookies. They would be well trained and outnumber them, not the best odds.
Daemian sighed and shook the dust from his mind. 7 years is a long time to not see or hear from someone and he honestly wasn’t all that sure why he was bothering to help. Probably because of the childhood memories, yeah, deep buried weakness and memories. Oh well, it wasn’t like he was getting any good jobs here anyways, merchants and low rank nobles. If he went solo, he could probably get a Lord or even one of the kings. Killing was all he was good at anyways, and wasn’t the worst as far as jobs went. Between the drops of rain, he heard the soft patter of feet moving with a silence that took years to perfect and more to detect. He glanced up just in time to see a flash of red, before a dark figure leapt from the roof and slip through the shadows to him. “sorry I’m late, night training went long.”
Daemian rolled his eyes. “whatever, lets get out of here before we get caught. This way” There was of course, no real reason Kiria had asked for his help, she was more than capable on her own. There were demons on the road though and between them and assassins and potential bounty hunters, two had a far better chance at surviving than one, and he was her brother after all, they’d had a few good years back when they were tiny.
Daemian adjusted his pack and stepped into the shadows. He’d been careful to pay off a guard and Kiria had dosed the Order with a sleeping potion she had procured. All they had to do was avoid patrols and they'd have a shot. They moved side by side through the dark alleys of Temerin, ducking into doorways and gaps between buildings when passing patrols by the ravens or Lord Serle’s guards, putting all of their training to use in one swift effort to get out. They finally made it out the gate and into the nearby trees where they paused for breath. Kiria recovered first, letting out a low whistle. A soft nicker, followed by a rustling of branches reached their ears as Steele stepped carefully through the trees with Myrage following close behind. The two entered into the tucked away little space where Kiria and Daemon were hiding. They both mounted swiftly and headed deeper into the woods. Daemon leaned forward and patted Steele’s neck. “thanks for waiting, my friend” Steele let out a sarcastic snort and dropped his shoulder. Daemian jolted forward and snapped the reins. “There will be none of that” Steele was a sarcastic ass at times, but he was Daemian’s familiar and best friend and they had an understanding that went beyond normal understanding, familiars were reflections of the same soul.
Daemian and Kiria continued through the deep shade of the forest, using their training to try and blend into the background. They continued through the darkness for hours as the sky lightened and the first morning birds began their songs. As the world awoke, they got a bit more wary. They could be seen easier in the day and soon their escape would be noticed. It was taking all of Daemians skill to completely erase their trail. He’d never been taught to use his magic, the only thing he’d been able to learn on his own was how to disappear and that was just training. Even if he was better at it then anyone else in the Ravens. He had kept his magic secret and now was wishing he’d learned a spell or two as he realized that even though they could go for a few days, eventually they would have to stop and rest and when they did, the ravens or demons would catch them. He and Steele could out run the ravens, but Myrage was just a regular horse, an incredibly well-conditioned horse, but a normal one all the same. They might be able to catch up. He didn’t think even Steele could outpace a band of attacking demons though. At that moment there was a strong jolt as Steele hit a trip wire and tripped, jumping to keep his balance, spooking Myrage into backing into a tree that stabbed a branch deep in her back leg. Daemian slowly dragged himself up with a grimace. He had hit his head when he fell and everything was blurry. He could make out Kiria, trying to get Myrage to calm down enough for her to dismount and steele had dropped down in a nearby patch of grass.
He grimaced as he shifted up and dropped his head between his knees ‘till the fast spinning slowed to a dull throbbing. He pulled himself to his feet and looked around again. Kiria had dismounted and was looking at the branch in Myrage’s leg. Daemian called over “hey, you alright?”
“ I’m fine, Myrage is hurt” Kiria replied, sounding worried.
Daemian nodded, “Do what you can, I’ll be over soon as I see to Steele.” He moved over to his familiar and placed his hand on Steele’s check. “ Where are you hurt, old friend.” Steele let out a low whine and Daemian moved slowly to look at the injured leg. That was the connection between mage and familiar, not so much speech as a mind to mind connection, instantaneous and as easy to understand and natural as one’s own thoughts. As Daemian felt the joint, he sighed in relief, just a sprain. A splint and they could keep moving. It was nothing too serious, but it would be slow moving, there was no way he could ride or steele could go faster than a slow walk ‘til it was healed. He brushed the blood from his eyes and went to examine Steele’s other leg only to find his big head in the way. The two stared at each other for a long moment. Daemian groaned, throwing his head back in the most dramatic manner he could manage. “Fine, you stubborn windbag” Steele may be be a sarcastic ass, but he was usually smart, except for now apparently. They needed to get moving and here steele was refusing to let daemon splint his leg until he bandaged the cut on his own head. Daemian pulled a small knife off his belt and trimmed several pieces from his inner cloak. One he bundled up and pressed to the cut, using another to tie it in place. As steele nodded and laid his stubborn ass head back on the ground , Daemian removed the inner cloak and cut it into strips, using some to bind Steele’s leg and attach the splint and tucking the rest into a saddlebag. They would need to pick up proper bandages in the next town. He moved to Steele’s other side and helped the horse back to his feet, leading him in a slow circle to check how the splint was holding up. Steele limped back to the patch of grass and started grazing while Daemian stepped away to help with Myrage.
Kiria has carefully pulled out the branch and slivers and was trying to bandage it, but the bandage and Myrage did not want to stay in place. Daemian took the reins and Kiria with both hands now free, wrapped Myrage’s leg quickly and with a whistle they were off. Daemian and Steele pushing ahead and Kiria leading the injured Myrage. Two lame horses and one injured assassin. They sure were a pathetic little band.
