Why did you make your blog: Kyra (ludicrousmages) was super deep in the tumblr askblog community back in 2011, and encouraged me to make a personal so I could hang out with her and her friends. So I did. And then I never left. What do you post: Reblogs of fanart, my opinions and recommendations of obscure games, my art, text posts about my adventures in game development, and short story snippets about my OCs. Also, a lot of these tag things! Last thing you googled: “get out of jail free binding of isaac” AO3: You can pry that info from my cold, dead hands. (Or you can ask privately.) Do you ever get asks: Yeah, but they're usually from H, Madison or Brad! How did you get the idea for your url: I had a passionate hatred for my high school literature teacher, and it never really went away. Favorite food: Hot chips! Last book you read: The Dungeon Master's Handbook for D&D (5e) Top 3 fictional universes: All right, just going off the top of my head...

Zork: I grew up with Grand Inquisitor, and used to think it had some of the most beautiful environments I'd ever seen as a game. CGI has moved on since then, but it remains one of my favorite universes if only because of the sheer level of nonsense it operates on. Time travel, spells that turn purple things invisible, an afterlife shuttle courtesy phone...

Kingdom of Loathing/West of Loathing: Once again, fuelled by nonsense and obscure pop culture references. Loathing can also have some remarkably interesting lore when the developers feel like getting serious, and any character who isn't just a one-off enemy is usually pretty interesting.

Gravity Falls: Weird, wonderful, terrifying, full of mystery and yet strangely comforting.

Team Fortress 2: Okay, I know I'm adding in a fourth here, but holy shit I just remembered Soldier is a defense attorney and his roommate is a wizard who periodically gets in trouble with the mafia and has to get everyone to fistfight each other so he can pay off his debt with blood. That is a sentence.

Normally this is the point where I'd tag people, but a) I'm notoriously bad at doing that and b) Pseu kinda tagged a good chunk of my mutuals. So uuuuhhhhhh... hey @sirmat​ and @argentumsun​  - you dig these things, right

“Ugh...”  Lyra groans, setting down the box to take a breather for a second.  “Why is this so heavy...”

There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of money at Cataclysm, so instead a barter system seems to have been set up; it usually means manual labor from the individuals hanging around in return for items, like fabric.  Such as the fabric for a few pieces of lolita fashion, which happens to “cost” transporting about thirty boxes worth of items, according to some demon or another.  She forgot its name at the tenth box and hopes she won’t have to ask again later.

She can’t exactly fault any of the demons for any of this, and the trade-off is quite fair in her opinion.  But her arms ache and it’s tiring, so she complains internally anyways.

“Oops!”  The small box on top of the large one slides off and plops into the snow.  It sounds as if only cloth or something similar is in it, so she isn’t worried.  Except bending down with a large box occupying both arms is kind of difficult.  If only she could grab the box without putting the big one aside again...

10. Shoulder

She tripped on her own feet. Her own god damn feet. The best bounty hunter, known for her strength and grace just tripped on her feet. To make it worse she just kissed this poor girl shoulders in the process then fell down more trying to pull back.

Samus just decided sitting there was for the best because if anyone caught wind that she tripped on her own feet like that when she’s know for doing somersaults mid-air and various acrobats. Embarrassing.
