Bring back “filler” episodes of tv shows, i’m BEGGING YOU.

I miss extensive, grand world building.

I miss getting to really, truly get to know characters and their canon qualities.

I miss seeing fantastic character development unfold in REAL TIME with each passing episode!

Okay, with the new teaser that just dropped a lot of people are freaking out about Vi being an enforcer now and like- can you all just- wait until the show comes out?

All of these bad faith takes are already so tiring like holy shit. Hold your judgments for a couple months and wait to see what they do, instead of automatically deeming the show ruined over what I see as a very interesting turn of events.

Have just an ounce of faith that the same writers, animators, and actors that produced the first season actually do know what they are doing, and will find a way to address the most likely intentional conflict this creates with Vi's character.

haters of modern opera productions are so fucking funny. “these new directors are stupid and crazy and their productions are incomprehensible and deranged” THEN DONT WATCH THEM???? stop acting like EVERY SINGLE MODERN PRODUCTION is like that. there’s a FUCKTON of authentic productions without “crazy symbolism” etc that were made in 21st century.

ofc there are more non-traditional opera productions than there were 100 years ago, but man. isn’t it obvious that TIMES ARE CHANGING and people nowadays are more familiar with cinema and all that stuff than they were before. so of course directors are trying to attract folks with some interesting new production ideas. that’s not because this generation is doomed and stupid. that’s because people are changing and their interests are changing too and NOBODY forbids you to listen to REAL SINGERS on your old ass gramophone or whatever you’re into

Pixar Animation Studios Developing "Dream Productions" Short Series For Disney+

According to Bloomberg, Pixar is developing an spin-off series of shorts based on Inside Out called Dream Productions slated for a 2025 on Disney+.

The name comes from the ‘studio’ that creates Riley’s dreams, but it’s unclear if the series will continue to follow Riley or if it’ll include other characters. Reports indicate that this new project from Pixar reflects the animation studio’s renewed emphasis on creating content primarily for theatrical release.

This strategic shift comes after a period of roughly four years where Pixar’s output was impacted, likely referring to the challenges faced by the entertainment industry during the COVID-19 pandemic when many films went directly to streaming services. By pursuing a theatrical-focused approach with projects like the “Dream Productions” series set in the Inside Out universe, Pixar appears to be signaling its belief in the continued importance and viability of the traditional movie theater experience for animated films.

“I hope that we will not release another feature film on Disney+,” Pixar president Jim Morris said.
