For almost ten years now, I've been into text-based role-playing games. But there is one problem – I have played only with Russian-speaking roleplayers, as I myself, being a Russian-speaking Ukrainian, sat only on the Russian-speaking Internet. My path started in Amino, continued in Telegram, stalled on Discord. And today I decided – I want to join Tumblr with a giant English-speaking community!

The first thing I'll do is describe myself as a roleplayer so you understand who you're writing to:

I have a bit of a problem with the English language. But I look at the opportunity to role-playing with someone as an opportunity to practice my English, which I will be able to raise thanks to you!

My characters are freaks. Back in the Russian-speaking role-playing community, I was disliked for my characters, who often differ in some personal peculiarities: albinism, vitiligo, limited abilities (blindness, deafness, inability to walk), unusual ethnicity (I'm into ethnography. By the way, visit my ethnography blog), subculturalism, and many other things. I have a variety of characters, each with their own peculiarities and oddities beyond «normal».

I write large posts in third person literary style. It's very difficult to take the first person.

I don't role dominant characters. A dominant role in a romantic relationship is completely uncomfortable and unpleasant for me. Even if I play Kevin, the pumped-up American football player, it's not a dominant character in a relationship.

I roleplay in the genres of het, femslash, non-binary and would also love to try poly.

Now for the role-play partner I'm expecting:

I don't role-play with male. I've never been interested in playing with them.

Don't ignore! I despise people who are incapable of writing «I'm sorry, but I don't think we're right for each other» and instead start ignoring. Thousands of years of evolution have created a wonderful invention – writing!

I only role-play with an adult.

Speaking of the plot I'm hatching. I'm not looking for anything heavy and grand yet in the beginning of my English-language RPG journey. So I want a simple, light and ordinary theme – teen romance! I'm fascinated by teenage romance and stories about it, so I'd be gigantically happy to breed this theme. It really appeals to me: just a nice warm romantic relationship between two teenagers. Maybe I'm trying to cover some complexes with this one, huh?

Hi all! I’m on the hunt for some new partners (not replacing anyone of course) that are interested in angsty, romantic and, of course, dramatic plots. Aside from that though, I am 26 which means all of my partners need to be 18+. Also, another lil request if possible: I just moved to the PST and would love some partners over here or who are at least awake during these hours, not a requirement tho!

Right now I’m specifically on the hunt for four fandoms/pairings: Criminal Minds, Stranger Things, MCU & Teen Wolf.

In Criminal Minds I’d be looking for someone to play Spencer Reid opposite of my character, Olivia Chandler. Olivia is a Gale Weathers type if you know Scream at all, but FAR less of a bitch. I think there’s a lot of longevity for this pair as Olivia is afraid of commitment whereas I see Spencer just hesitant when it comes to romance at all, especially if we set this after Maeve. There’s a lot to her backstory that I think could make for an interesting twist a little further along, but we could do different cases and such and it would be fun!

While I haven’t watched S4 of Stranger Things yet (atp I’m just waiting for S5 to rewatch all of it lol), I know most of what happens, but this plot would take place more of s2-s3 and maybe in an AU space s4. I’d be playing an original character, Nancy and Mike’s troubled cousin from New York, and would want to pair her alongside Billy Hargrove. I think they’re ‘fuck this small town’ attitudes would work well along with other things.

In the MCU I’m looking for you to play as Loki. Don’t fret if you’re not completely caught up on the more recent marvel projects, as the plot(s) I’m looking for would take place preferably pre-Thor. Pre-thor would be lighthearted until we potentially see Loki discover his true heritage and what that means. What does it mean to him? What does it mean to a girl he’s grown up with (my character)? What does it mean to those around him? Themes like that! I’m totally open to other ideas as well and will definitely send you info on my oc when we connect, but this is the basic plot I have in my head rn!

As for Teen Wolf, I’d love for someone to play Derek Hale against my canon-divergent version of Paige Krasikeva. For those who don’t remember, Paige was teenage Derek’s girlfriend who was scratched by an alpha and Derek had to kill himself. In my version, Derek thinks he killed her but Peter brought her back to life and sent her off with her parents who moved. Now she’s back in season 3A as an adult music teacher at the high school with no memories of Derek or werewolves.

i have multiple different WIPs, but my main posts will be about 'game of survival' or 'the raven'. I also collab with a few authors occasionally, including Alexander Stecyk (my boyfriend of three years), Faeluna E. I primarily write about toxic friendship as that's something I'm familiar with due to extremely toxic ex-friends, but not all my books have that. I hope to maybe see some growth here & to make new friends, mwah.

Adrift in Currents Clean and Clear by Seanan McGuire is the newest Wayward Children book! This one takes place in a Drowned World, with giant turtles.

I Am Made of Death by Kelly Andrews is a horror romance starring the signing interpreter of a selective mute who is also an heiress! I loved Andrews' last book, which hd lush folk horror vibes, and this one has a gorgeous cover and involves curses and a spiritual exorcism, so I'm IN.

Love Points to You by Alice Lin is about someone making a dating sim! And the MC being hired as character designer. This is an Asian-led sapphic romance, and as a dating sim fan, I'm super pumped.

They Bloom at Night by Trang Thanh Tran is a horror novel full of mutated monsters, and a cult-ish submerged town where the MC and her mother are stuck, where the people believe their dead family have reincarnated as sea monsters. The summary also heavily implies the MC has monstrous qualities.

What Wakes the Bells by Elle Tesch involves malevolent souls trapped in bells and fighting gargoyles! This sounds like an exciting fantasy world with a really fun adventure.

I Am the Swarm by Hayley Chewins is a trauma-centric horror with a magical bloodline and the power/curse of summoning insects. This one really leans into female rage, and I'm really interested in the magic.

Holy Terrors by Margaret Owen is the third (and I think final!) book in the Little Thieves series! Fairytale-retelling fantasy with a snarky, morally gray, damaged MC (whom I love)

Roll for Love by M.K. England is one of my favorite kinds of books coming out lately- a D&D based romance! This one involves a new campaign & roleplaying group after a big move, and a no-dating rule giving some tension.

The Summer I Ate the Rich by Maika Moulite & Maritza Moulite is Haitian-American Hannibal story! It's also a zombie story.

The Floating World by Axie Oh was pitched as an amnesiac sword-for-hire teaming up with a theatre troupe performer with mysterious powers, and I don't need to know any more than that!

Don't Let Me Go by Kevin Christopher Snipes is Snipes' second book- and I was absolutely gut punched by the queer tenderness and mental revelations of his first book. This one will also break me, as it's about two boys trapped in a reincarnation cycle.

And They Were Roommates by Page Powars should need no further explanation than the title!! But in case it's not- this is an MLM story of a stealth trans boy coming to a new school, where- unbeknownst to the roommate- he's roomed with his former, pre-transition fling.

Nobody in Particular by Sophie Gonzales is a royalty romance at a boarding school, and it's sapphic! This has a disgraced princess falling for the new girl pianist 😍 As a big believer in Gonzales, I am lined up.

The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater is not my normal kind of read! This is historical fiction, taking place at a hotel/spa in the 1940s- but Stiefvater wrote one of my favorite series, The Rave Boys (and The Dreamer Trilogy!), and she'd super excited about it, so I'm just looking forward to seeing her spectacular writing coming at a new angle.

Love Misha by Jam Aden has been on my list for a LONG TIME. Why? Because it's promoted as A Goofy Movie meets Spirited Away with a nonbinary main character. SAY NO MORE.

If We Survive This by Racquel Marie is a apoclaypse survival horror. Lesbian zombie stories are surprisingly not that hard t find right now, but I'm definitely interested in seeing more of them!

Predatory Natures by Amy Goldsmith has one of my favorite things- TRAIN SETTINGS. The MC is working on a luxury train during her gap year, but the trip is derailed by the arrival of a mysterious greenhouse and a pair of odd, enigmatic siblings. This is fantasy horror.

Evil-ish by Kennedy Tarrell is about disillusioned teen trying to become a supervillain. I love supervillain fiction, and this one sounds really fun and with surprising characters!

Villain by Natalie Zina Walschots is the very longwaited (for me, at least) sequel to the wonderful villain-led, radicalization story Hench. I'm so looking forward to seeing Anna as a full supervillain!

Mistress of Bones by Maria Z. Medina stars a necromancer trying to resurrect her sister, and getting caught in a game of cat and mouse with the Emissary of Death. This one sounds really magical.

Hollow by Taylor Grothe is YA horror with an autistic (and trying to deny her diagnosis) teen in Upstate New York. I, personally, seeing book in Upstate NY and love autism rep, and this is queer!

The Cuffing Game by Lyla Lee has one of my favorite fluffy queer romanc writers tacking reality show romance by the way of Pride & Prejudice! There's also (no surprise) going to be K-drama vibes.

For No Mortal Man by Keshe Chow stars a girl who can resurrect herself, traveling the Underworld to find her grandmother, and being haunted by a former betrayer.

We Were Never Here by Sophie Hannan is a heist story! This is about ghost hunters being blackmailed to do a heist, stealing a haunted painting. I love weird heists, I really do.

You Weren't Meant to Be Human by Andrew Joseph White is probably my most anticipated release of 2025! I love AJW's autistic, trans horror, and this one has aliens and pregnancy horror. I see no way this won't be weird as hell, and therefore no way this isn't gonna be amazing.

What is the main lesson of your story? Why did you choose it?

Tricky to explain. Theres no ‘lesson’ I guess, so much as...know you can never truly go back. Time marches on and you gotta keep moving. You cant undo what youve done, no matter how much you ruminate or try to recapture that spark. You can only grow around it. Yeah. Thats what im going with LOL. Im sure readers have already taken their own lesson or message from it anyway, or will when this thing wraps up, and I think thats cool in its own right. I don’t wanna tell people what they should be taking away from this - I want them to figure that out through the lens with which they view the world.

What did you use as inspiration for your worldbuilding?

Its our world, but adjacent. Dead meat takes place in a North America where the us kind of only exists in name only. I have a Vision for the world in which this all takes place, but it doesn’t immediately impact the events of dead meat to where ive sat down and figured it all out.

What is your MC trying to achieve, and what are you, the writer, trying to achieve with them? Do you want to inspire others, teach forgiveness, or help the reader grow as a person?

First half Betsy was just trying to get home. Then she finds out home isn’t exactly safe either. I don’t wanna spoil it for those who arent caught up, though. Dead meat started as like a monster romance story and evolved into this whole other thing entirely (for the better). Mostly im telling a story I think is kinda cool.

How many chapters is your story going to have?

At the time im answering this, dead meat currently has 5 ‘parts’ out, and part 6 is on the verge of release – I don’t write in a chapter format necessarily, because I hate having my thoughts interrupted. Id rather keep a series of congruous events going Together. Anyway its going to have 7 parts, with a bonus 8th part acting as a ‘field guide’ for a species thats prominent in the story.

Is it fanfiction or original content? Where do you plan to post it?

I exclusively write original work at this time – fanfic isn’t of much interest to me unless im really taken with explorations of a particular media, or if im invested in the person writing it, ie, youre a friend of mine and I wanna support your work. I have no intents of formally publishing my work because I resent the idea of an editor or publisher telling me what I can and cant do with my shit, so you can find dead meat on my website.

When did you start writing?

Ive been writing off and on since I was a kid, really. I read and roleplayed a lot in my teens and early twenties and that built up the foundation...i had a really long lull and thought my writing days were even over like right around summer of 2023. I was wrong. Obviously.

Do you have any words of encouragement for fellow writers of writeblr? What other writers do you follow?

Just write it, and write what you want. Your audience will find you, especially if youre loud and obnoxious about your work. Also I follow far too many writers to begin to list them all here (and I don’t want this random ass post appearing in their notifs en masse), but I appreciate them all.
