- before chikatilo and souda really got a chance to know each other, chikatilo never thought of him as someone he would end up staying friends with. sure, souda seemed like a nice guy and all, but he just didnt seem to particularly stand out to chikatilo, other than his clothes. still, he definitively didnt hate him, and he was still nice to souda when he saw him

- once chikatilo and souda actually started talking and getting to know each other, though, chikatilo couldnt help but notice just how much fun souda was to be around! it was always a pleasure to spend time with souda, whether it was by actually helping him out with anything as a mechanic, or just by having a conversation while they walked together

- working on projects with souda was something that chikatilo always enjoyed, even though souda didnt always enjoy having chikatilo work with him. it wasnt anything bad, but he just always wanted to find some way to put fireworks in soudas projects. in the end, though, things would usually work out. except for that one time with the car and flamethrowers

- the day that souda and chikatilo nearly burnt down school property, they ended up getting in lots of trouble. after all, there was no good reason for any of them to be burning down school property, and it was something that they honestly shouldnt have been doing. despite that fact, though, both of them found that they ended up having a lot of fun

- when chikatilo first started telling souda about his life in spain, it was only an occasional thing that was brought up while the two were working on projects together. over a bit of time, though, chikatilo felt more comfortable asking about his home in spain, since souda always seemed really interested whenever it was brought up. it made him happy

- not only did chikatilo fell souda about his home in spain, but he would also tell souda that he would be more than happy to teach him how to speak spanish if he really wanted to learn. souda was honored by the gesture, and he made sure to let chikatilo know that if he actually took the time out of his schedule to teach souda, he would have to make it up for him

- considering how often the two of them talked about silly things, it was pretty obvious that chikatilo and souda didnt really enjoy coming to each other whenever they had problems. the times that they did decide to talk to each other, though, it was a bit of a relief to know that there was someone they could talk to when things were starting to get serious

- there was one time where chikatilo asked souda if he would make something with a sort of firework motif, since the two of them were friends and chikatilo would really enjoy it. they both thought it would turn out well, but the poor thing ended up getting lost within a few hours. still, both of them remember that specific project very fondly

- since he had already told souda a great deal about his life in spain, chikatilo promised souda that one day he would actually take him to his home so that he could see what spain was like firsthand. souda was really excited about this, and he couldnt help but want chikatilo to visit spain as soon as possible so that he could tag along and see it for himself

- although the two of them definitely got each other into a fair amount of trouble, at the end of the day chikatilo was glad that he could consider souda his best friend. no matter what the two of them would go on to do in their futures, chikatilo wanted to believe that the two of them would continue to be as close as possible and that they would stay friends
