I’m willing to bet cold hard cash money that the type of compliments Tech would give Phee and some of the things we would say to her would give some Jane Austen love interests a run for their money. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Let’s be realistic. If Tech and Phee got married, it would not be a white wedding.
It would be a Pirates of the Caribbean style, mid-crisis affair with explosions and officiated by an extremely dramatic pirate captain. Someone may even have a sword.

"Can You Feel The Love Tonight"
but it's TechPhee and it's Crosshair and Wrecker sneaking around and watching them, being pouty about their brother being "stolen" from them.

this art with Tech and Phee has been lying around for quite a long time and I'm too tired to think what to do with the background, so I'm posting it as it is
(and some stuff from twitter)

First time seeing Phee topless, Tech was confused and said "your breasts are so soft, they could be used as antistress toys".

In my mind Tech is alive and well, living his happily ever after with Phee.
on this topic... Phee had a lucky in love bachelorette weekend and Tech had a denim and diamonds bachelor weekend.
their wedding was actually something more casual, something like a picnic micro-wedding inviting just their families and a couple of friends.
also Crosshair was the best man, Lyanna was the MOH and Omega was a bridesmaid at the wedding, and of course all of them gave speeches.... but Crosshairs was to everyones (exept for Tech, Hunter, Wrecker, Omega and Phees) surprise the most emotional one.
i really suck at explaining, but i hope y'all get my point.
they are my roman empire

I'm here for your Tech headcannons 🙏👁👁
(And your PheeTech headcannons....)
Oops, this got long!
Tech definitely doesn't like spicy food. The sensations are just way too much for him.
Tech doesn't really like drinking that much because why would he put something like alcohol in his body when it can dull his thinking and senses?
Tech has always been bad at trying new foods, but despite Wrecker messing around with him he actually helps him with it, and says it's okay when he doesn't like something, or really doesn't want to try something.
Tech would probably rather be fixing anything he could get his hands on than go to a party (if he was ever invited to one).
Tech has scars we can't see from the Clone Wars. He's been in combat so many times there' s no way he doesn't have scars under his clothes. He's not self conscious about them because he understands how they work and why they're there.
His favorite color is blue! But a darker blue than what Hunter likes. he doesn't see the merit in Hunter's favorite blue.
He used to have glasses, but they kept flying off his face during training, so he switched to goggles.
Tech is okay with having poor eyesight, especially since that can be helped. He might even like how he looks in his goggles despite also favoring the practicality of the design.
Tech has allergies, but they're not bad enough to get shots for.
He considered getting a tattoo so he could feel like he fit in more, but he just didn't see the point in it, and also couldn't land on a design he wanted.
If Tech absolutely had to flirt with someone I feel like he'd fall back on talking about physics.
He prefers to look at people's eyebrows rather than their nose (out of the two options) because eyebrows are closer to the eyes, so he'd appear more "normal" that way. He actually does like how eyebrows look on people, and has a few favorites for who has the best eyebrows.
Out of curiosity he has tried Crosshair's sniper rifle a couple of times, but he knows that Crosshair's the expert, so he'd never try to do this on an actual mission.
He once tried infodumping about the way some type of creature mates, and everyone shut him down.
He finds exercise and physical exertion interesting because he thinks about what parts of his body are doing which and how that works.
He's never read a fiction book. Ever.
His favorite types of physics are thermodynamics, and electromagnetics.
Tech once tried explaining those topics to Phee, and she listened, but had no idea what he was talking about. She just liked the energy he had while speaking, and the slight smile on his face.
Guess this is now naturally becoming the Tech x Phee part of the post, so here goes nothing!
Phee had to explain foreplay to Tech, but he finds the whole idea extremely interesting. And he didn't really have any qualms about trying it out.
Phee and Tech go on adventures together.
Phee loves joking around with Tech to get him riled up, but if he genuinely doesn't understand a joke she'll explain it to him.
Phee does get Tech to try a bit of alcohol, and he likes the more expensive kinds because he has good taste.
Literally, those two would try out multiple kinks just because Tech's never done any of that before, and Phee is adventurous. Of course she'd want to find out what he likes!
Phee has to remind Tech during sex that, no, this is not fighting, he is using his body for something different. He's just not used to it at first. So, he'd get a bit rough and hands on. But they figure out they kinda like that anyway sometimes.
Sorry this is all about sex now, wtf.
Phee loves seeing Tech smile, and she tries to get him to smile all the time.
Neither of them can cook very well.
Phee has taught Tech some sword-fighting techniques. He finds the weapon interesting and wants to know more about it. Though he's not sure he favors the saber design.
Tech has showed Phee a bit about using his pistols.
Phee jokes around about how twirly he gets while in combat.
Phee does open up to him about her past, and is honest about it. Most of the time. She doesn't really feel the need to lie. She just finds it amusing half the time. But with being close to him she definitely would lie a lot less. In fact, she likes when he's in on her lies she's telling to other people. He doesn't say anything, but he'll let her story unfold. The first few times he did interject a ton, and he can't understand what's fun about it, but he thinks about how she doesn't interrupt him when he's infodumping, and figures it might be a similar kind of fun.
This one's canon, but Phee obviously understands that Tech can't make eye contact all the time, and she's more than fine with that, even though she does like to look at his eyes when he's not paying attention.
They once wrecked a hotel just by trying to stay a night and enemies from their adventure found them. No, they didn't pay for any of the damages.
I could probably keep going, and want to think of more cute ones, but this is what I have for now! Thanks for the ask! This was so fun. I love Tech. I love the type of person he gets to be around Phee. I think Phee is kind and silly, and genuinely cares about Tech.

Tech:Life is too short to not live it to the fullest and I want to do that with you.
Phee too stun to speak
Tech walk right up to her.

Hi!
Characters ask game, #1 for Tech and #12 for Phee
Have a beautiful day! 💕
Thank you! 💛
1. Why do you like or dislike this character? (Tech)
I like him. At first, I didn’t like him any more than any of the other Batchers, and I thought he was just The Smart OneTM, but as the series progressed and his character came out more and more, I took a real shine to him.
If I had to boil down why, specifically, I like him, it has to be because he’s marked by kindness and bravery—traits not always exemplified by the “brainy” characters. And he processes moments and emotions differently, he knows and explains that he does, but he’s not portrayed as weird or insensitive for that, and he makes it a point that he’s not some kind of robot because of that—he does feel and he does care.
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character? (Phee)
I’m probably not the first to come up with it and I’m definitely not the only one who has this headcanon, but I love the idea that Phee herself grew up as a refugee on Pabu and that’s why it holds such a special place in her heart and why she doesn’t share it with just anyone.
Also, she lost some precious family heirloom (or had it stolen from her) in the move and that feeds into why she wants to find artefacts for others.

I feel like if Phee was pregnant, she and Tech would act like how my parents acted during each of my mom’s pregnancies.
Phee would just be chilling, doing her own thing and going on as usual pretty much up until it’s time to have the baby (and gets annoyed if she’s told to slow down or take a break), and basically making the whole thing look effortless. Then you have Tech freaking out any time he has to go somewhere for longer than an average workday, constantly asking if she’s comfortable, nearly having a heart attack when he sees her doing things around the house, and tripping over himself to get whatever food she might be craving.

TBB s/o Headcanon:
Why do I feel like once the members of the Bad Batch get significant others, Crosshair is always in the background of their dates in Sniper mode like ready to pull the trigger if anything goes wrong?
I can see him definitely tailing his brothers and spying on their dates through his scope because he's protective like that.
He probably also takes Omega with him and they'll spy on their brothers to see what's going on.
Especially with TechPhee, Crosshair is always looking out for his twin and he and Wrecker are always in the background of all of Tech and Phee's dates.
I think he also keeps a close eye on Echo as well, even if he knows Echo can handle himself. However, it's probably only because he holds Echo is such high regards as an older brother that he feels the need to spy on him.
Then with Hunter and Wrecker he's just watching to see if they make fools of themselves (and they usually do) when they're out on dates with their partners.
THEN!!
When Crosshair ends up with a significant other his siblings are protective as HELL over him.
Yeah it's karma for all the times he was spying on them and would scare dates off, but it's also because he's the baby brother so they're all going to look out for him (even if he can handle his own).
So they're constantly tailing him on dates, threatening and intimidating his dates, and so on.
He pretends to hate it, of course, but it's not all that bad.
Catch him being like, "You want to cheat on me?? Well, these are my siblings. Good luck."

Since there are a lot of things that Tech does and says that remind me of my grandfather, and I often will take things my grandfather does or some of his quirks and give them to Tech in my writings or headcanons, I must propose this:
Tech, although yes he does snark and sass and complain about things, is really rather calm and mild-mannered, but all of that chill goes out the window the SECOND someone disrespects or is rude to his wife Phee.

I've been picturing him without his goggles too, but what if he has new ones and his siblings are all "you don't need these with cybernetic eyes" and Tech's avoiding eye contact like "I do, in fact, need them."
Silly mental image, but: Tech makes his way back from wherever he is a few months after Tantiss. He lost both eyes in the fall, and he’s had both replaced by cybernetics. And, being Tech, he likes to pop them out and tinker with them from time to time (one at a time, of course). And in the course of his tinkering
he adds
a recording function
with a red indicator light.
So Hunter or whoever will just be minding their own business and will walk up to Tech and ask him for something, and then Tech will be like
Tumblr media
“Yes? What is it?”
It takes some getting used to and Tech doesn’t see the problem (Tech does, in fact, see the problem, he just finds the problem hilarious).

What I Think Each Member of the Bad Batch’s Favorite Taylor Swift Album(s) Would Be (Plus Bonus Phee and Bonus Fives)
Hunter- Taylor Swift
Wrecker- Tie between 1989 and Fearless
Tech- Red for “All Too Well” alone (he’s very into lyrics and their meanings; also enjoys Folklore and Evermore)
Crosshair- Reputation (he’s also a really big fan of Red and Lover, but Reputation has a special place in his heart; he’s a huge Swiftie though so he likes all of them)
Omega- Speak Now (Reputation is a very close second because Crosshair likes it so much)
Echo- Folklore (followed very closely by Midnights and TTPD)
Phee- Tie between Red and Evermore
Fives- Midnights
