the hound's chest feels tight, adrenaline still filling every crevice of his body - filling his skull and spilling forth crimson that fills tetcho's mouth and stains his lips. he did it. he protected them all - he kept the danger out. the handle of the kitchen knife burns his palm but tetcho can't bring himself to let go of it, white-knuckled fist trembling as the state of the corridor before him begins to sink in despite jono's attempts to bring the hound's attention back to the present.

he didn't want to be this person. he didn't want to be a blade anymore. tetcho didn't want to keep hurting people anymore. he didn't want to pick up this damned knife again and channel his curse of an ability through it-- but he did. he did and tetcho can't help the way the blood burns his skin, the way the blade feels like it belongs more in his hand than any piece of gauze or band aid he's touched since jono allowed him to stay more and more often.

but... he had to do it, right? if he hadn't picked up the knife then jono's staff - jono's family - would've been hurt. rather than tetcho's own blood staining the walls and floor beneath where he stands, it would be the innocent people jono's helped and created a haven for. if he hadn't done it then... then tetcho wouldn't be able to live with himself.

still, his head spins - his skull feels fit to split in two as the hound sways on his feet, unable to drag amber gaze from the bloodied walls ahead of him. tetcho's vision darkens at the edges, his hands feeling numb as his knees begin to buckle beneath him. "jono--jono-san... i am... i am sorry--i did not--"

the mafia's hound doesn't manage to finish his sentence before he hits the ground, vision cutting out completely as his frame goes still - blood pooling around him.

As much as his words around others make it seem like Jono would rather be as far away from Tetcho as the Earth would allow, in reality there is nowhere else he would rather be. Tetcho makes him feel safe in ways that no one else can even come close to. For years now, he has been a constant. He has been there. When Jono’s world went dark with the loss of his sight, Tetcho was there. He had held Jono that night, surrounded him with the familiar scent and sound of him, and it was the first time in yeas that Jono had ever felt safe.

I've gotten an interesting idea: au where the spy-fiasco never happend and Bee and Wasp joinined elite guard in one team. That got sended to help in laboratory invaded by organic bee-like species. And during the fight Bee got himslef close to dying, needing help. But Wasp wimped out and run away, leaving Bee for death. Bee managed to fight for long enough to be caught up in malfunctioning machine with one of the bee's, turning him techono-organic. Who's focused on finding Wasp and making him pay

Violence’s Language

I just caught up on Quackity’s stream and....well, it looks like c!Techoblade’s right: violence is a universal language.

c!Wilbur brought L’Manberg and himself to an end violently: through the TNT explosion and having c!Phil kill him.

c!Dream, c!Phil and c!Techono brought L’Manberg to its final death through violence. It’s never been rebuilt since because everyone learned it was pointless.

The butcher army tried to bring C!Techono to justice through force and failed.

c!Dream tried to bring the server back to the way it was before through manipulation and ultimately trying to kill c!Tubbo and lock away c!Tommy. He also snapped and proved his point violently that the revival book is real by beating c!Tommy to death. Now everyone understands it’s real.

c!Tommy thinks that the only way for things to go back to normal is to kill c!Dream and intends to act on it.

And now c!Quackity is choosing to torture c!Dream for the information on how the revival book works. And depending on how long c!Dream can hold on, he’ll learn through violence how c!Quackity feels and c!Quackity may eventually get what he wants in the end if/when c!Dream cracks.

It’s a pretty horrible language in the end, however, since there’s very little in the way of actual discussion. Violence is universal - but truly doesn’t give any answers.

Moments like this, when the quiet blanket of evening falls over them and he can ignore everyone else for the two of them, are his favourite.

His skin is sensitive, raised like all his senses apart from his sight from years of surgeries and tests. If anyone else tried this, soft fingers tracing gentle shapes onto his bare skin, he’d flinch away. Shout, be aggressive, let them know never to invade his personal space. No one ever tries. No one ever dares. No one ever gets close enough, Jono always masterfully avoiding as much physical contact as he is able to, never wanting to admit that he is so sensitive that if someone doesn’t know that it just hurts.

But Suehiro know. Suehiro knows everything about him. All the eccentricities, exactly how much is too much, the way Jono relaxes against him completely when he gets it right. There is nothing Suehiro doesn’t know about him, and yet somehow he has never left.

No one else ever gets to see him like this, soft and relaxed against Suehiro’s chest. No one else ever will. They suspect, he knows. Most of them probably no. They know better than to mention it, better than to say anything or ask any questions. As much as Jono complains, they know the truth. They know that his heart is Suehiro’s, and it has been ever since the first night he climbed into his bed after losing his sight, truly scared for the first time in his life, and Suehiro just held him close and gave him the safety that he so dearly craved.
