LET ME SHOW YOU MY FIRST INFOGRAPHIC !
Hi guys! It is really nice to see you again on my blog. Today we have a little bit different topic to talk about. Our discussion topic is infographic and its benefit for education. As you know, this blog was created by me for the sake of course assignment. This week we were given a new assignment. Creating an information infographic about ethical and legal issues in educational technology. I used Canva to originate my design. It was very excited to create this type of informative design because it was my first time. I am new here- I mean on social media :) - so it was too hard to handle it for me. But it was fun. Besides from being fun, I think it is also very educational. While teaching process continue students can take benefits from this kind of design. Because of the visual feast it is also unforgettable. This can be useful for students. Also, because this design is far different from the regular course book, it could be a motivation for the students.
Before display my infographic, I want to share my infographic topic. It is netiquette. Have you ever heard this word? For the one who has never heard before , It is combination of two words. Internet and etiquette. Today, nearly everybody uses social media, mail, or anything related to technology. Just as we have some kind of etiquettes on real life to make the world better place to live in, the internet also needs etiquettes ,which is called " netiquette" , to safe and peaceful interaction with people. Is this information make you feel curios? Come on, have a look at my infographic and get information :))

In my latest video I got to visit Microsoft’s Quantum Lab where they are developing an entirely new form of quantum computer. This was really fun for me because, not only was I pretty much the first person from outside Microsoft who has got to see this, it is also weirdly similar to the research I was doing in my PhD on superconducting nanowires as the core of Microsoft’s quantum computers are superconducting nanowires that have amazing topological properties which I explain in the video. I hope you enjoy it!

THE USE OF INFOGRAPHIC IN CLASSROOM
Hey guys,
I hope you are all well. Today, I will talk to you about the preparation process of my infographic on plagiarism that I prepared for my instructional technologies course. The subject of my infographic is four ways we need to know to get rid of plagiarism. When I thought about making the infographic, it seemed quite easy to me, but the production process was not like that at all.
The part that I had the most difficulty with was finding a scheme suitable for the subject of my infographic. I could not create a theme according to the information I wanted to add, and most of the applications I wanted to use were available for a certain amount of money. I used the "Canva" website to create the final version of my infographic. Actually, I tried to do it through different applications, but after finishing the infographic, I realized that they were paid. Therefore, my previous work was deleted. When I tried to do it in the Canva website, I could only use a limited number of features, but since it was my first try, I would like to think that such difficulties are normal for beginners.
When it comes to the advantages of using infographics in the classroom environment, I believe that they definitely create more permanent information for students than simple plain text. It can be used as eye-catching lesson material that is both entertaining and educational, especially for young learners. It also provides benefits such as simplifying complex course content, providing information that can be kept in long-term memory, and attracting students’ attention.
For these reasons, I will definitely use infographics in my own classes but I don't plan to do them myself 😅. Maybe ready-made infographic can be useful for me in terms of saving time.
Thank you for your time. Have a nice day ✨

When I worked at Gogo, we had an engineer who wanted some charts and graphs to explain the concept of electromagnetic signal latency, and why it affects you more in an airplane than in your house or in a car.
Rather than just tell viewers what latency means, my fantastic copywriter Rasheed Brown and I decided to demonstrate it with a loooooooong-scrolling infographic.

Famous phones from movies – a few fun facts
1. The first video phone was used in the movie Metropolis in 1927. The large, wall-mounted device had several dials that could control call location frequency and video quality.
2. In 2001: A Space Odyssey, a video telecommunications device was used in industrialized areas of Earth and on Space Station V.
3. In Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), James Bond was equipped with an Ericsson JB988, featuring touch pad remote control for his BMW, 20,000 volt taser, and a fingerprint scanner.
4. The phone used in The Matrix movie, released in 1999, was Nokia 8110. This particular model was selected because it was one of few well-known cell phone models at the time – and the film was intended to resemble an alternate 1999.
