Know what? Fuck it, I'm posting this here.
So as I mentioned before I found a couple of old Bionicle Fanfics on my computer, they're from the old BZPower forum, which died twice, so there's a good chance my copies are the only ones left in existence, and because I really like this one I'm posting it here.
I don't know what's the etiquette for posting fics no longer online, so if people considers it inappropriate please let me know and I'll delete it; also if you know the author let me know so I can contact them. Anyway here it is:
I'm Still Here by Raia Svit-kona
http://www.bzpower.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=292937 (original link, now dead)
I am a question to the world, Not an answer to be heard. All a moment that's held in your arms. And what do you think you'd ever say? I won't listen anyway… You don't know me, And I'll never be what you want me to be.
Takanuva paused and took a deep breath. He immediately regretted it, as the swamp air was damp and heavy and left the musty scent of mud in his olfactory sensors.
Yuck, he grumbled to himself.
The last few days had been a complete blur. Never before had life been so eager to pass in front of his eyes. It seemed that only yesterday he had transformed from a mere Matoran to the sole Toa of Light. Then, in the blink of an eye, he went from being the seventh Toa to the only guardian of Metru Nui, and then he was sent to bring this vital message to the Toa Nuva in Karda Nui. It was mind-boggling.
And what do you think you'd understand? I'm a boy, no, I'm a man. You can take me and throw me away. And how can you learn what's never shown? Yeah, you stand here on your own. They don't know me 'cause I'm not here.
He looked down at his armor, once red and blue, then white and gold, and now a deep, thundercloud gray instead of gold. So many faces, so many identities, so many masks to bear, Kanohi or otherwise.
On the outside, he was Takanuva, mighty Toa of Light, traveler of dimensions.
But deep down…he was afraid. He was inexperienced.
Tahu and the others were never Matoran, he thought. They've never done anything besides fighting for us. For Mata Nui. Would they ever feel like this? As if they've given up everything they ever were, ever could have been? What about Takua? Is he still in there?
Nothing felt real anymore. It was if some other, heroic, strong being had taken over his body. Every action felt almost fake, as if he was just a puppet on a stage, and if the strings were cut, he would flop to the ground, useless and weak.
One mistake. That's all it would take to doom Mata Nui forever, he knew.
And I want a moment to be real, Wanna touch things I don't feel, Wanna hold on and feel I belong. And how can the world want me to change, They're the ones that stay the same. They don't know me, 'Cause I'm not here.
The old Takua, alive in the recesses of his heart, wouldn't have let anything bother him for long. Takanuva pushed his despairing thoughts away. He had a job to do, after all.
The thick vegetation, looping and twisting between the thick pillar-like trees, reminded him of Le-Wahi, and the time Jaller had 'bear-fought' an ash bear, narrowly escaping the encounter only after Toa Lewa had arrived. It seemed so long ago…
And you see the things they never see All you wanted, I could be Now you know me, and I'm not afraid And I wanna tell you who I am Can you help me be a man? They can't break me As long as I know who I am
If only he had the courageous, loyal Toa of Fire by his side. They could have worked well together. I wonder what he's doing now, he thought. Then he realized that his mind was drifting again, like a boat left untied, and he shook his head.
Ahead, the swamp, or bog, or whatever you chose to call the smelly, mucky pit, dropped down sharply. The gnarled roots of the trees erupted from the squishy earth, bare and dry like rahi bones. Without pausing to think, Takanuva leaped down amongst the tangle and used the roots like a bridge to the next dry spot.
Technically, he could fly, but he hadn't been in the mood for it. Flying made him think of the birds yammering above his head, too far up to see, and birds made him think of Gukko, and of home.
Maybe I should fly up there and see if I can spot the Toa, he decided. Holding out his new power lance for balance, Takanuva braced himself. Remember when you used to do stuff like this for fun?
And I want a moment to be real, Wanna touch things I don't feel, Wanna hold on and feel I belong. And how can the world want me to change, They're the ones that stay the same. They can't see me, But I'm still here.
The next thing he knew, he was swooping through the sky. The dank mud and moss sped along underneath him in streaks. Adrenaline flooded his limbs. In a fit of spirits, Takanuva dived, hurtling through the gaps in the drooping vines. A second away from impact he swooped upward and hovered in place.
Cheered, he took a good look around. Mist hugged the trees here, but in the distance, Takanuva could just make out the blurred shapes of two grappling figures; one blue, and one ghostly white. Unless he was sorely mistaken, the blue figure looked distinctly like a Toa of Water. The other unknown was wiry, with luminous red eyes and rows of spines erupting from its armor.
They can't tell me who to be, 'Cause I'm not what they see. And the world is still sleepin', While I keep on dreamin' for me. And their words are just whispers And lies that I'll never believe.
Without hesitation, Takanuva summoned a bright flare. The creature whirled, eyes narrowed. It made no sound, only giving the Toa of Twilight a penetrating glance before sinking into the quagmire.
And I want a moment to be real, Wanna touch things I don't feel, Wanna hold on and feel I belong. And how can they say I never change They're the ones that stay the same. I'm the one now, 'Cause I'm still here.
He didn't have much thought to spare for the strange, spindly being. The Toa of Water, recovered, had stepped through the curtain of mist. Altered and silver-armored, her mask adorned with two wing-like projections, she was Gali Nuva, and one of the Toa he sought.
"Takanuva? Is that really you?" Her voice was shadowed by the countless questions she wanted to ask. Her bright yellow eyes, as open and easy to read as he had always remembered them, showed her shock.
"Yes. Are you okay?" "Of course. But…what happened to you?"
Takanuva sighed. "It's a tale worthy of the Wall of History, but there's no time for that now."
"You've changed," Gali murmured. "So have you," he replied. But under all this armor, I'm still here.
I'm the one, 'Cause I'm still here. I'm still here. I'm still here. I'm still here.

Okay, this is a long one! please stick with me;-; I've been bringing a lot of time-travel, dimension-travel, transmigration, and reincarnation shit for around 3 or 4 years now, and I just wanna ask;
What's going to happen when the Teyvat timeline reaches the future timeline? Ajax isn't born until the future timeline, so what happens when they reach the point where Ajax is born? I'm not sure and I'm lazy to re-read, but if Ajax doesn't have a constellation yet, then would he gain his constellation when his "other self" is born? Would it be the same one? If he does have one, will his younger counterpart share the same constellation? Can two separate beings exist under one constellation? also, if we are going with the, "the universe split the moment time was rewinded and therefore are no longer the same universe" idea, what happens to the future Ajax?
The Ajax that we know had to get snapped multiple times in his life just so he could glow like a fucking light stick. What would the consequences be if Ajax no longer grows up to be that person? Would our Ajax be joining the unknown God in the afterlife? Or perhaps, would this new Ajax be a reincarnation? I have so SO MANY MORE QUESTIONSIOHDIJFD ples answer-⊂(・﹏・⊂)
i have to admit that i am not entirely sure where your line of questioning comes from;;
for one, i'm going to assume you've caught up with the fic as of chapter 58. ajax had no constellation prior to godhood because his world was outside of the world tree's purview. he obtained the one he has bc of connecting with irminsul via godly ascencion.
i hope this isn't coming off as mean, i know this is a jumbled premise and, since it's a fic primarily about ajax being op, most of the timeline technicallities are very hand-wavey. so like- they're not the focus of the story, whether they abide by conventional theories on how timeline splitting would actually work.
i'm putting the rest under the cut to spare everyone's dash but tl;dr:
Tumblr media
the fic is operating under two timelines since the very beginning. the first is the og teyvat, where rex lapis and shogun are, and where skirk comes from. ajax' world is technically from there, even if set on a different... well, world. and the second is our current teyvat, pre-archon war, where skirochka and morax and guizhong are from. current teyvat and og teyvat were originally one and the same, but with ajax' arrival and subsequent fuckery with the events that would've played out had he just sat still and done nothing, he created a different branch of the timeline, and the one he's currently in. so when he travels to his world, he's actually traveling to the future of the original timeline.
so since timelines cannot converge, the teyvat ajax is on at the moment will never 'reach' the original one. the original one still happened, he didn't exactly 'change history' as basileios said, not in the conventional way. he did change what celestia had predicted 'history' would be – he changed the future. he didn't change the past, he just made a new timeline where things wouldn't be fucked. technically this would mean there's a different timeline where ajax doesn't manage to reform celestia and things sitll go to hell? but since that's so much of a headache and genshin has plenty of time-defying things, i'm just working with the generous assumption that abyssal-tainted ajax doesn't abide by the exact same time laws as everyone else. so like- the original timeline was never touched. ajax split the timeline literally on arrival, since it was never supposed to happen, because otherwise there would've been a closed loop of ajax having existed in the past that his world fled from? and thus wouldn't have needed to flee bc ajax would've already fixed everything? or, worse, ajax would've been doomed to fail from the start?
time jumping is far too complicated for my brain, so you can see why i'm using the abyss to get around it.
so, with the future changed, nothing is going to play out exactly the same it did in the original timeline. they're never going to 'catch up' to it, because they're not going there. since ajax' birth was so far down the line, we can assume that an ajax from the new timeline will simply never be born bc of the butterfly effect of things not playing out exactly the same in morepesok. nothing will happen to our ajax, either, since his story is already set in the original timeline, which isn't being touched here.
this probably makes no sense if you know a lot about how time would work in a multiple-timeline scenario, but, again, since that was never the point of the fic, i'm just using the abyss as the unknown variable that it is to basically use it as an excuse for why things may not add up.
and in the impossible scenario where an ajax would be born in the new timeline, his constellation wouldn't be the same, because they, again, wouldn't be the same person. the only beings that currently share a constellation are skirk and skirochka, but they're a giant exception. moreover, they don't even, strictly speaking, share papaver dei. around chapters 26 to 29 basileios mentions that the stars are shifting because someone is changing history. technically, while the names remain the same for simplicity's sake, none of the characters of the current timeline have the same constellations as their counterparts in the original one anymore. like- morax' lapis dei isn't the same lapis dei of rex lapis, because rex lapis' included the archon war, while morax' no longer does. guizhong's in the original timeline literally included her death, which isn't there anymore. so papaver dei is 'complete' for skirk, but is now different for skirochka as she is still young and things didn't play out as they did for the other one. moreover, skirk hasn't connected to irminsul after getting to the current timeline, so as far as the tree cares, skirk doesn't really 'have' a constellation. she's probably going to anchor to the abyss, anyway. they don't even share a constellation under irminsul's eyes, so.
anyway, uh... i'm looking at what other questions you made,,,
a reincarnation would require ajax to die? so like. no. you could say taht, once ajax eventually does die, that at some point in the much later future, there is a reincarnation? but going by your question, no, that wouldn't be the 'same' ajax that was supposed to be born had he not changed history. you have to think of the current teyvat as a mostly blank slate. some things will still happen, but most will not. and the ones that will happen, will only do so because they're immediate and thus not nearly as fucked over by the butterfly effect.
most of your other questions are under the assumption that current teyvat will somehow catch up with or affect the original at all, so- i'm afraid those would all be no,,,
time was never rewinded. ajax was plucked off his world and thrown to the past, where he immediately created a split by virtue of existing. so like-
refer to the diagram i put before the cut;;;;;;;
i hope that makes sense?? again, sorry if it came across as mean, that wasn't the intention hahah:;;

For ask game : 💫💖💞🎀💌  i hope this isnt too much <3 take your time!
Ask game here.
Oh, anon, I love your choice in emojis for this ask. One question, did you scroll everything in my blog for this reblogged post or saw this in your dashboard? This is the most recent ask game with emoji I reblogged so far before the other ask game.
answers under the cut^^/
💫 what is your favorite kind of comment/feedback
— Unhinged simping comments. Periodt.
No seriously. It gave me a good laugh that I can make simping comments that are so unhinged with them— may it be a meme, a gif, or sane feral comments, you name it. I often do that at tags lol.
💝 what is a fic that got a different response than you were expecting
💖 (omg where is this kira kira heart? I havent seen it in this post... if you picked this heart (💝), then I'll answer it for you.
— Hm... I checked my works and what would I expect from the reblogs and comments that got drowned in the sea of likes. I guess it's at my old akuneko fics back in 2022.
💞 what's the most important part of the story for you? the plot, the characters, the worldbuilding, the technical stuff (grammar etc.), the figurative language
— Oh, here's my answer. All of the above.
It's always the plot, the characters, the technicall stuff, and the figurative language when it's a oneshot or a drabble fic. But the worldbuilding is included when it's a whole series or closely to a book. Been there, through that, done that.
🎀 give yourself a compliment about your own writing
— Here's a compliment to myself about my own writing.
"Oh, god. You're so dumb that you made such bad works. You did well and you're hot for writing the same thing almost 10 times in one week to one month. You have limited vocabulary and you did well in writing such beautiful yet annoying works, sweetie."
💌 share something with us about an up-and-coming work (WIP) that has you excited.
— Oh I am making my Izumi and Leo speaking in fluent Italian headcanon canon in my mind. I can see Leo being a dumbass in doing Italian hand gestures while talking like the dumbass he is (affectionate)
— Reader running away from Wataru because of PTSD and war flashbacks. Hokke and Tomo rating a 10000000/10 for you calling Wataru the most iconic nickname given from the duo and formed a Wataru Hate Club with you in my current fic series.
— Self-indulgent LeoHerri fic that both of us are inspired and in our own world, having our alone time while doing something we are passionate of in the same room. *dreamy sigh*
— Knights being kidnappers but in phantom thieves version. I want them to rot. (affectionate)
— A world where Lilia and reader sing a lullaby for baby Silver. *cries*

for prompts/thoughts: im always a fan of fahc gav flirting to get his way with things. sometimes this just means flirting with strangers at a bar to get free drinks, sometimes it means doing it at negotiations to throw the dealer off. just using a smooth voice as he works his master manipulations. but his favorite is flirting with his boys to get them wrapped around his fingers
Lol, yes.
I also really love the idea of FAHC Gavin being this complete human disaster most of the time, but when he bothers to put any effort into it he’s this irresistable force?
His boys know he’s this horrible little troll, but then he’ll give them this look, this smile, and they know better because his ego’s big enough as it is when it comes to this kind of thing, but they can’t not do whatever he wants.
Whether it’s getting him a drink even though his damn legs aren’t broken or some little trinket – shiny, expensive as hell and absolutely not what they’re robbing this place for, come the fuck on, Gavin. (Something a little more risque, which, who are they turn him down? It would be rude of them.)
Gavin making a comment about Jeremy and Michael’s biceps, and they’re so lovely but really, which has the better set? (And so there is arm wrestling and Gavin >:DDDDD)
Mentions something about Ryan’s whole knife-throwing thing, and then he’s getting a private lesson that may or may not deviate from the subject at hand at some point, which just means he’ll need more of them later on. (>:DDDDDDDD)
A few words here and Geoff’s honor is at stake, just you wait and see Gavin. (>:DDDDDDDDDDD)
Jack is just...look. Jack is wise to Gavin and his little ploys more so than the others – they all know exactly what he’s doing – and just waits with this little smirk to him, raised eyebrows and makes Gavin work for it before he plays along. (Worth it, though. So very worth it.)
And the negotiations, okay.
Gavin all dressed up in his Golden Boy persona, this edge of dangerous to him – he does so like toying with his gold knives, and that gun of his – and all the more tempting for it. (Untouchable, the Vagabond and Mogar at his back, among others, and smug about it.)
All these sweet promises he gives them, if only they agree to the Fake AH Crew’s terms, doesn’t it sound like a wonderful deal, love?
Gavin leaning on the bar, top two buttons of his shirt undone, gold-framed sunglasses pushed into his hair and this little grin to him. That laugh and a cheeky little wink that has the bartender rolling their eyes as some poor soul buys him a free drink.
Idiots never learn, and the ones who have a hard time accepting Gavin’s ‘no’ later on meet with a bad end, which hey, totally deserved and not at all their business. Besides, it just makes things safer for their other customers. Win-win all around.

“I hate this.” She moaned, eyes scrunched shut as tears left them. Her chest heaving and knees aching from the sudden collision with the bathroom tile. He grimaces, rubbing her back for another moment before offering her a hand up. “I know, baby.” He finally responds as she takes a swig of mouthwash.
Leaning against the doorframe he watches her through the mirror, waiting for her to be done.
“This is the third time.” “I know, and I’ve got an appointment in two days. Probably some bug that I picked up.” She waves off his concern. She had one that was slightly similar to this a year or two ago. It had taken her a week to recover and a bag of fluids but she had been alright. “You’re late. You should’ve gotten your period two weeks ago. I think you’re pregnant.” Hesitation laces every word, but he can’t help the excitement he feels at the idea of her being pregnant. Of him being a dad, of them being parents. He knew it was soon, they had barely been doing whatever this was for three months. But he liked Y/N, could see them being great parents together.
He doesn’t expect the way the words make her freeze before suddenly she’s pushing past him.
He calls her name, following after her as she walks through the house. When she doesn’t say anything, he calls it again, and this time he gets a response as she picks up her car keys. “I need to go.” Is all she says, before leaving out the front door. It leaves him frozen. Staring after her. And by the time he can move again, her car is long gone and he can see her phone and bag still resting on the kitchen counter.
She doesn’t really know where she’s going until she gets there. Until she’s parked in a familiar driveway and knocking on a familiar door. When the door opens she rushes into familiar arms and breaks in them.
The arms hold her tight, taking her weight as if she’s nothing. Hold not loosening even as the door is shut and they move to the living room where she’s placed on the couch before being joined and held again.
It’s quiet with only the sound of a clock ticking and her sobs. She doesn’t know how long she sits there, a hand rubbing soothing circles up and down her back before she finally speaks.
“I might be pregnant.” Her voice cracks after the first word and the grip on her tightens and even though she’s far too big and old for it, she’s pulled into her father’s lap. “What happened, sweetheart?” “I’ve been throwing up the past few days and I missed my period.” She presses her face deeper into his shoulder, taking a breath before continuing. “I didn’t even notice.” “Have you taken a test?” She shakes her head, “I just came here.” He nods, pressing a kiss to her head. “There’s still one in the bathroom.”
As she leaves to go to the bathroom, Ice can’t help but think about the first time he had learned his daughter, his only child, was pregnant.
Answering the phone, he can’t even be bothered to take his eyes off the paperwork in front of him. “Is this Tom Kazansky?” A hesitant female voice asks, catching his attention. “This is he.” “I’m calling about your daughter, Y/N, Mr. Kazansky. She was admitted a few hours ago here at Paradise Valley Hospital.” “What happened?” He demands, standing up, already halfway through the door. “I can’t tell you over the phone but once you arrive at the hospital, we can discuss what happened.” “I’ll be there shortly.” And without saying anything further he hangs up on the nurse.
Arriving at the hospital, he already knows that he’s going to get mailed a ticket for running a red, maybe two, but his anxiety is at an all-time high. This wasn’t the hospital closest to the base that was technically a navy hospital where he could easily throw around his weight. This was a pure civilian hospital. His status as an admiral wouldn’t get him anywhere unless some former military was on the staff.
It takes far too much time for the receptionist to tell him what floor his daughter is on and when he gets to that floor and asks the nurse at the desk where his daughter is and what happened, the sad smile makes his stomach clench.
“Let’s go somewhere more private, Mr. Kazansky.” She says, rounding the desk to start ushering him to a small private waiting room that’s empty. “I’m the nurse assigned to your daughter, I can tell you what happened, or we can wait for the doctor to tell you.” He shakes his head at the offer. He didn’t want to hear the news from a doctor. Not when he had a nurse that was more than competent in front of him. “What happened to my daughter?” His voice is rough and there’s tears threatening to fall from his eyes. “Your daughter arrived here over an hour ago. She fainted while at a store and was transported here by an ambulance. When we ran tests we found out that she was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy and the doctor on call, Dr. Wilson rushed her to surgery and she came out of surgery just a few minutes ago and is recovering. He nods, but his mind is stuck on the words ectopic pregnancy, he had heard of it before, but what exactly was it? Voicing the question, he’s thankful when the nurse doesn’t blink at him not knowing. “An ectopic pregnancy is when the egg doesn’t plant itself in the uterus but outside. When someone experiences an ectopic pregnancy, sadly the fetus is unable to survive. Surgery isn’t always needed, but in the case of your daughter it was. But the surgery went perfectly and she should wake up soon. I can take you to her if you’d like?” “Please.” He whispers.
Entering his daughter’s room, he rushes to her side. Sitting on the edge of the chair and taking her hand in his. Tears start falling as he looks at his little girl in a hospital bed. She had never had a surgery in her life until this, and it killed him that he wasn’t there before she went in. Hadn’t been there to hold her hand, kiss her forehead, and tell her everything would be okay.
He’s broken out of the painful memory of his daughter coming back into the room and sitting next to him. “It’s positive.” She whispers, and his eyes close at the words. He wants to curse, but he doesn’t. Instead just holding out his arm for her to lean into him. “Are you going to be okay?” “I don’t know. I don’t know if I can do this again for the third time, dad. I don’t think I can handle it.” Tom doesn’t mention that it could be okay, not after the last time.
Her first time she had been somewhat fortunate enough to know that she wasn’t pregnant. It had hurt her when she woke up from surgery and found out what happened, but the second time. He felt like she just got back on her feet from what happened. Had just gotten back to somewhat normal.
“What do you want to do?” He asks. He was willing to ignore it for a while if she wanted or he’d drive her straight to the base and demanded that the doctor give her an ultrasound if she wanted to find out now. “There’s a women's clinic by the base that I’ve passed a few times. I think I should go there and get checked out. I can’t put it off.” “Okay.” His voice is soft. “Will you come with me? I don’t want to go by myself.” “Of course.”
As they leave the house, he texts his secretary telling her that he might be unavailable for the next week and if that happens to pull any favors needed. She sends a single okay and he knows that she’ll somehow manage to get him over a week off with no favors being pulled if it came down to it.
Alex had been the best hire the Navy had ever made as far as he was concerned. And he knew that for the rest of the day he wouldn’t receive a single text or call regarding anything, excluding Maverick. If somehow Maverick managed to get into trouble today, he’d be pulling the man away and making him stay grounded for the rest of the month. Maverick had gone too long without taking any of his vacation days and he was due for more than a few Kazansky dinners.
When they get to the clinic, he ignores the looks from other patients in the waiting room, who are looking at his daughter clinging to his arm as they walk to the front desk.
“How can I help you?” “I, I need an ultrasound. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive.” She leans down a little not wanting the whole room to hear her next words. "I’ve been pregnant two times before and they were both ectopic.” She nods, clicking away at the computer. “Alright. I’ve got a few forms you’ll need to fill out, but no one is waiting for an ultrasound right now, so as soon as you're done filling them out, you’ll be called back.” “Thank you.” “Of course.” She smiles, handing over the mentioned forms.
Sitting down in the uncomfortable chairs, Tom hands her a pen as she begins to fill out the forms. Only taking them from her when it gets to billing and she starts to reach for her purse but doesn’t find it. He quickly fills in his details for payment after checking the no insurance box. He had more than enough money to pay for an ultrasound and anything else that would be needed.
“You didn’t need to do that.” She says when he returns the forms. “You don’t need to worry about it sweetheart.”
As they’re called back to the ultrasound room, his arm is grabbed before he can begin to sit back down and he wordlessly goes with his daughter.
Sitting beside her, he keeps his eyes on the ceiling as Y/N quickly explains when her last period was and her previous history as she pulls her shirt up and pants down.
“Sorry dad.” She mumbles, laying back down on the bed, paper crinkling. He keeps his eyes up, but reaches for her hand, holding it. “It’s alright, sweetheart.”
The room is quiet other than the sounds of the ultrasound machine and soft words from the technician. A few minutes pass before the wand is being placed back in its holder. “I’m going to go show the doctor the images and she’ll tell you what she found.” “Okay.” She nods, cleaning up her stomach before sitting up straight, letting her shirt fall to cover her stomach as the technician leaves.
When the doctor comes in twenty minutes later, Tom doesn’t say anything when the grip on his hand tightens painfully before she falls into him and cries. He only nods at what the doctor says, confirming that he understands.
He doesn’t say anything the whole way home, not even when they get back to his house and he makes her lie down on the couch, covering her with a throw. Just pressing a kiss to her forehead, before heading to the kitchen.
He leans against the counter, face tilted down as his own tears start to fall. He wants to curse and scream at the world, because what kind of fucked up shit was this? How was this far in any way shape or form?
Pulling out his phone he sends a text to his secretary, just a basic I need a week. She sends a single okay back before another quickly follows. Telling him that an admiral is sending Maverick to a new program that hasn’t been fully approved and doesn’t need a pilot that’s worth as much as he is. He doesn’t hesitate to send a text back saying to pull him. Knowing that Alex will know that he means he wants Mav back in fightertown with him, grounded for a month. The next text is just the word understood and he tucks his phone back away, taking in a shaky breath.
He had a daughter that needed his full support and a pilot that was going to try and fit him on being grounded. He could only hope that Mav would just have to look at him to not fight him on his decision. He didn’t know if he had the strength to say out loud what happened today.
He didn’t know if he’d ever have the strength.

Okay. I am officially done with pairing weeks and other challenges for a good while with SladeRobin week over. Now is NaNoWriMo, and rather than taking the traditional approach of writing a single novel, I’m dedicating this month to only writing new chapters/instalments of my older unfinished stories, which will hopefully end in a 50k+ wordcount in total or at least close to it, since I’m off to Budapest for a few days near the end of this month.
I’m not sure if that means I’ll end up writing a bunch of chapters for one story or single chapters for different stories, we’ll see how it goes. But definitely that’s my goal for November *nods*

I am loving the selfish serie❤️💕
Mc is just😘
Great work my friend, and maybe add a bit off mc spilling blood.
Aslo to be technicall, couldn't mc get the past timeliness obey me character to come. Because they technically swap timelines to escape death.
Awwh tysm! I’m glad you like it!
Also, about that past timeline thing, I think Barbatos brought them here from their timeline so unless Mc forces him to do it, or they discover a spell to help them transport to their timeline, or the other timeline brothers and datables come, I don’t think Mc technically can access it? I’ll try to include that in my fic tho
Tysm and I’m glad you liked it!!!

Yo I been thinking abt that one fic idea
Tw for suicide I guess
Where Izuku tries to kill himself after being told he can't be a hero by All Might and gets a quirk that way
The quirk allows him to make a shadow body similar to his own, HOWEVER
It just makes his normal body fall into a coma
So afterwards hes just this shadowy version of himself having absolutely no idea how to go back to his original body as its taken away and put in a hospital
And his new "shadow" body he can technicalally change however he wants, could even add wings if he wanted to
So hes stuck between wanting to start a new life and wanting to go back to his mom
Oh and also through the entire story he has no idea how to even go back at that point so its also a problem
,,,,I kinda wanna write it not gonna lie
But I have so many other unfinished wips :(

Fic: Hardy’s perspective, set immediately after this fic (x), between S2 and S3. 1215 words.
He was recovering from the slight sting he felt on his left cheek when he heard her shout.
"Two years!" He walked over and shut the blinds as he noticed many pairs of eyes staring at them. "What are you doing here?" She asked, eyes boring into his skull as if she could drill a hole in it.
"New case, we should get going." He moved to grab his coat and headed toward the door.
"If you think I'm just going to go with you..." He raised his eyebrows at her as she was shaking her head. "Ugh, you're such a fucking wanker." She grumbled under her breath as she went through the door.
They got out to the car park outside the station and she was walking to go to her car before he stopped her.
"No, it's alright. I can drive." She turned around, stared for a brief moment, and began walking back toward his car. He felt like she was giving him the silent treatment now which, to be fair, he probably deserved, but it wasn’t how he expected the day to go. She got into the car, grumbling things under her breath that he couldn't distinguish, and he followed right after.
The silence was almost damning as the ride went on, forcing him to be with his own thoughts and making him think up different kinds of explanations he could give her that would cause the least amount of damage. He eventually settled on a tried and true method of breaking the silence between them.
"You alright?"
He kept his eyes focused on the road ahead, but he could see her in his peripheral vision, seething. She violently turned her head away to look out the window, her entire body now closed off to any type of communication from him. This gesture worried him, but he decided to keep talking despite it.
"How are the kids?"
"No, you do NOT get to ask me that." She said, incredulously. Several minutes went by as he accepted the fact that it was just going to be a long, silent car ride, before he heard her speak up again. "Where are we going?" He turned to look at her for a split second, but her body was still turned away from him.
"Robbery. About 18 miles inland. SOCO are already there trying to get fingerprints.”
“Oh, so they know you're here too, do they? I'm just the last one to know. Got it.” There was a beat of silence before she continued. “Why do you even need me for this? Seems like a one-person job.”
He tried to formulate a sentence in his mind of exactly why he did need her, but he couldn't come up with anything. After about 30 seconds with his mouth open, getting ready to speak, he finally let some words out, with a sigh.
“I feel...bad.”
“What?” She turned toward him for a fleeting moment, the annoyance of him seeping through her pores that he didn’t even have to look at her to see it.
“I know it must be hard to-” She cut him off.
“No, you know what? We’re not doing this, just... stop talking.” She turned back around to the window and he let out a considerable sigh.
They finally arrived at their destination after what seemed like hours of deafening silence, and he had never been happier to inhale a breath of fresh air as he was when he stepped out of the car.
“Right, have you found anything yet?” He directed to the group of officers congregated around the storefront. They started listing off the information for him, but he was only half-listening when he saw Brian go up to Ellie and start a conversation out of earshot, both catching glances of him, making it obvious who they were talking about. He was pulled out of his thoughts when one of the officers offered to show him around the crime scene, and he followed them into the building.
It took a few hours to gather all the information, and at the end of it, he felt his stomach rumble. Nothing a tea couldn’t fix.
“I’m hungry.” He heard her say as she joined him at the car.
“Did you not bring a lunch today?”
“We’re about a half hour away from the station, not including traffic, and I’m not waiting until then. Give me the keys, I’m driving.” He handed her the keys and chuckled a bit at the banter, before going over to the passenger side.
“Your legs are too long.” She stated as she moved the seat forward and adjusted the mirrors before taking off. He smiled for a second, and then started changing the channels on the radio before he remembered the last time he did that with her in the car, and just settled on the last one he landed on. The music annoyed him, so he decided to look at her for a moment so he could have something else to focus on.
“Stop looking at me.” She barked, and he was taken aback for a second.
“I’m not.” He turned to face straight ahead but something caught his eye. “Did you style your hair differently today?” He noticed her hands gripping the steering wheel.
“It has been two years.” She said in an unpleasantly calm voice.
“Well, technicall-”
“Shut up.” She moved her hand into a gesture miming a closed mouth directed toward him. “Until we get there.” Her hands went back to the steering wheel and he turned to look straight ahead, listening to the awful music playing in the background.
Toward the end of their meal, well, her meal, and his tea, she let off a sigh, priming herself to speak for the first time since she ordered the food.
“So where are you living now?” She asked, taking a sip of her water.
He sighed. “Near the beach. With Daisy, she’s living with me now.”
“Really?” He nodded, avoiding eye contact and allowing a prolonged silence afterwards because he knew she would want an explanation. He took a deep breath in.
“What about you? How’s...everything?” Immediately after he said it, he felt so awkward and out of place; he didn’t do this sort of thing.
She stared at him for a bit before replying. “Good. Both boys are so much older now, it feels like I can’t keep up sometimes. Beth’s baby, too, she’s so big now, and she-”
He let her continue to talk as he sipped on his tea while he got the opportunity to relish in the feeling of relief. Relief that he finally escaped the war zone that Tess had created, relief that Ellie didn’t hate him after all, and relief that Daisy would be able to get her fresh start here, just like he had. It was comparable to the feeling of coming home after a long day’s work, and he slowly closed his eyes and exhaled.
“Are you even listening to me?” He opened his eyes and sat straight up.
“Yes, the Latimers, Broadchurch. Continue.” He waved his hand for her to resume as he finished his tea. She narrowed her eyes at him before picking up where she left off, and he smiled into his mug.
