The Sprint model of the G8X has just begun receiving its Android 10 update. The regular G8X was updated to Android 10 back in December, but it's somehow taken another six months for Sprint to push it through. Multiple XDA forum users are reporting that they've received the OTA on their Sprint G8X phones, and LG has published the Android 10 source code for the Sprint model on its code repository. If you own a Sprint-model G8X (LM-G850UM9), be sure to manually check for an update if you haven't already been prompted. . . . . #techies_page_lg #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #lg #lgg8x #sprint #usa #android10 #update #softwareupdate #ota #g8x #overtheair https://www.instagram.com/p/CARhZNggulg/?igshid=1naf0l9dj3vco

Many months later, Motorola is finally announcing the update to Android 10 for the foldable Razr today. The new software will obviously bring all of the goodies that Google packed into Android 10 when it got released last September, but there's more from Motorola itself. With this update, the external display, which the company calls Quick View, is receiving some expanded functionality. You can now call people without opening your phone, just swiping left on the Quick View display to access your favorite contacts. With Smart Reply and the all-new Quick View keyboard, you can even read and respond to messages from the most popular apps on the outer screen. The camera features have grown to allow capturing selfies in even more ways than before when the device is closed. You now get more camera modes like group selfie, portrait mode, spot color, and others. You access the camera on the Quick View screen by swiping right - or with a twist of the wrist. Additionally, the Quick View display can now show you turn-by-turn navigation from Google Maps, as well as music players from Spotify, YouTube Music, and Pandora. It's even customizable with themes. . . . . #techies_page_motorola #techies_page_update #techies_page_android10 #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #motorolarazr #motorazr #razr #razr2019 #android10 #update #softwareupdate #usa #uk #india #china #iceland #australia #austria #hungary #spain #italy #france #brasil #russia #vietnam #romania #rome https://www.instagram.com/p/CAFZWqtACm2/?igshid=1ko6080j8atmd

Samsung rolled out the Android 10 update with One UI 2.0 for the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A20e last month, and now it's the Galaxy A20s that's receiving the latest version of Android with One UI 2.0. The new build requires a download of around 1.3GB and comes with the usual set of Android 10 and One UI 2.0 goodies along with the March 2020 Android security patch. The Android 10 update is rolling out over the air for units with model code SM-A207F and SM-A207M. If you own a Galaxy A20s with either of these model numbers, you'll receive the update in a few days. You can also head over to the Settings > Software update menu on your device to check for the update manually. . . . . #techies_page_samsung #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxy #samsunggalaxya20s #galaxya20s #samsunggalaxya20 #galaxya20 #samsunggalaxya20e #galaxya20e #india #indonesia #bali #australia #austria #usa #uk #canada #iceland #maldives #denmark #switzerland #china #sweden #rome https://www.instagram.com/p/B_97HCjgDnR/?igshid=95defcrojush

According to users on Russian forum 4PDA, Sony is pushing the stable Android 10 update to Xperia 10 and 10 Plus users. The software version is 53.1.A.2.2 (bumped from 53.0.A.14.47) with the March 2020 Android Security Patch Level and is available for both the single SIM (10: I3113 / 10 Plus: I3213) and dual SIM (10: I4113 / 10 Plus: I4213) models in Russia and other European countries. Sony hasn’t published a proper changelog for this update as of yet, but the new build should introduce all the new features to the Xperia 10 series that Google rolled out with Android 10, including a system-wide dark mode, gesture navigation, smart replies, and more. The update is being rolled out in a staggered fashion in order to ensure a smooth rollout, but the full firmware package can also downloaded using the XperiFirm tool by XDA Senior Member IgorEisberg. Power users can then opt for either Flashtool (GUI) or Newflasher (CUI) to perform a manual flashing, though we would still advise caution. Both Xperia 10 devices feature 64GB of internal storage, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, headphone jack, SD card slot, USB-C, and NFC. The primary difference between the two is in terms of processing power. While the Xperia 10 Plus is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 platform, the other one is powered by a slightly less-powerful Snapdragon 630 SoC. The regular model also features a depth sensor, which is substituted by an 8MP telephoto shooter on the Plus variant. . . . . #techies_page_sony #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #sony #sonyxperia #sonyxperia10 #sonyxperia10plus #xperia10 #xperia10plus #android10 #update #softwareupdate #russia #russian #usa #uk #iceland #canada #brasil #italy #spain #bali #indonesia #india #china #japan https://www.instagram.com/p/B_73tnrg6wJ/?igshid=1f2xvb7q1ymrv

It looks like this time around, the software is stable enough and hasn't been pulled again, and as such, the Xiaomi Mi A3's Android 10 rollout has finally reached Europe. A tipster, some Redditors, and Caschys Blog report receiving the latest build, version 11.0.1.0.QFQEUXM weighing ~1.33GB to be specific. If you don't have it yet, try checking your system settings to see if you're eligible already. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_mi #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #xiaomi #mi #xiaomimia3 #mia3 #android10 #update #softwareupdate #usa #uk #canada #ghana #westafrica #southafrica #iceland #sweden #switzerland #brasil #france #germany #europe #italy #spain #rome #romania #russia #denmark https://www.instagram.com/p/B_71jNVgM_t/?igshid=b7r00pt8zmyi

Xiaomi's Mi Note 10 launched last November sporting the world's first 108 MP camera on a smartphone, as well as one of the most flexible setups at the time, with two telephoto shooters alongside it and an ultrawide and a macro cam. The phone has been doing quite well, sales-wise, and even got a lesser sibling recently in the form of the Mi Note 10 Lite. One thing that it hasn't so far received is an update to Android 10, which is weird because a lot of other (even older) Xiaomi devices have. Well, the wait is finally almost over for the Mi Note 10, as today the Chinese company has started rolling out an update to MIUI 11 based on Android 10. Note, however, that it's a "Global Stable Beta", which is Xiaomi parlance for something akin to a "release candidate". It's not the final version, but should be close to that. If some nasty bugs are found, then the rollout could be halted and a new build would emerge later on. Also note another caveat, which is that currently this is only going out to "global" units, and that, in Xiaomi terms, means those that weren't meant for China, Russia, India, or the European Economic Area (EEA). The update is MIUI 11.1.1.0.QFDMIXM, and installing it requires a 2.6GB download. Aside from bringing the Android 10 goodness to the table, it also packs the April 2020 security patch level, as well as the usual assortment of bug fixes and optimizations. According to reports from users, the camera, fingerprint unlock experience, and overall system speed have been enhanced. There's also a new live AOD feature. However, built-in call recording seems to have vanished in this build. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_mi #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #mi #xiaomimi #minote10 #minote10lite #minote10pro #xiaomimi10 #xiaomimi10lite #xiaomimi10pro #android10 #update #miui #miui11 #australia #austria #iceland #usa #uk #russia #india #china #europe https://www.instagram.com/p/B_6styPgduZ/?igshid=1qplujq8j5fkj

Xiaomi is seeding the JoyUI 11 update based on Android 10 to the Black Shark 2 gaming phone. Only select phones will be included in what the company calls first wave, with broader rollout scheduled for May 6. That is, of course, unless any major issues are found in the ongoing soak test. If you are among those that get to participate you have to prepare for a download of about 1.9GB. It's well worth it though - you get a revamped UI with new Black Shark themes. The changelog highlights also include new file manager and navigation gestures as well plenty of tweaks for the gaming center. The company compiled the neat infographic below to tell you about the highlights of the new firmware. In the official tweet, the company also promised that Black Shark 2 Pro owners will be getting the much-awaited upgrade starting April 30. It will be a similarly staged rollout with broader availability again starting on May 6. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_blackshark #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #xiaomiblackshark2 #blackshark #blackshark2 #xiaomiblackshark2pro #blackshark2pro #update #softwareupdate #android10 #joyui #joyui11 #changelog #gamingphone #gaming #issues #india #usa #uk #unitedstates #unitedkingdom #australia #canada https://www.instagram.com/p/B_jRqE5AjNx/?igshid=c0x35sy3lo10

HMD Global is rolling out the stable version of the Nokia 6.2 Android 10 update. The update is arriving over the air, but not everyone will receive it today due to the staged rollout. The Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 were scheduled to receive the update to Android 10 in Q1 2020. However, things took a twist when coronavirus struck, paralyzing operations of not just HMD Global, but also many other companies based in and outside China. The Finnish company then came out with a revised roadmap that placed the availability of the new OS for the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 anywhere between the end of Q1 and the beginning of Q2 2020. Unfortunately for 6.2 owners, the stable Android 10 update was only released for the Nokia 7.2. Of course, Nokia 6.2 owners weren’t so happy with this move, which was swiftly followed by a Pie-based April patch. The wait has come to an end, though. Taking to Twitter, the usual suspect, Juho Sarvikas, has revealed that Nokia 6.2 owners can finally install the latest Android OS on their handsets. The airborne update is arriving as version V2.290 and weighs in at 1.54GB, tagging along the usual Android 10-related features alongside the latest April 2020 security patch. HMD says the update will only be available to 10% of Nokia 6.2 units sold in approved markets as of today. By May 1, the distribution of the update will have hit 50% and on May 3, all devices should have received the OS. . . . . #techies_page_nokia #techies_page_update #techies_page_android10 #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #hmdglobal #hmd #nokia #rollingout #rollout #nokia6point2 #android10 #china #firmware #update #softwareupdate #usa #uk #unitedstates #unitedkingdom #nokia7point2 #roadmap #androidpie #os #android #australia #india #canada https://www.instagram.com/p/B_hy1I9ge-E/?igshid=e36k3s48woz5

Xiaomi’s rollout of Android 10 to its Android One-wielding Mi A3 has been one of the most chaotic roll-outs we have seen in a while. The update kept rolling out and getting canceled and rolled back several times. We have the coverage on the same here. The company is once again, rolling out Android 10 to the Xiaomi Mi A3, only this time, they have chosen to test the waters before jumping head first. Well look at that! Xiaomi has finally learned a lesson! With this roll-out, Xiaomi plans to roll out this update in phases and is urging users to be patient as the update will be available for their devices shortly. Further, the company plans to take a very small bite with this rollout, only pushing it out to 1% of Mi A3 users. At least this way, Xiaomi can better handle the damage control that might ensure, should this update prove as problematic as its previous 4 releases. It is not immediately clear why Xiaomi is excluding the Indian market in this roll out. However, should the update go well, we’re sure Xiaomi will roll out this update to more regions. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #xiaomimi #xiaomimia3 #mi #mia3 #redmi #android #android10 #update #softwareupdate #usa #uk #australia #india #canada #russia #china #androidone #rollout #rollingout #phases #unitedkingdom #unitedstates https://www.instagram.com/p/B_eSJSCgaSb/?igshid=18j32mw116gpm

As per various roadmaps that have surfaced the internet about Android 10 updates for Samsung phones, most of the devices are expected to pick up the firmware update, somewhere in Q2 of 2020. While others wait, Samsung Galaxy A20 is now grabbing the Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update in multiple regions. The device was launched back in March 2019, and it came with Android 9 Pie (One UI) out of the box. But now, as per reports, the Galaxy A20 (model number SM-A205F, SM-A205FN, SM-A205G, SM-A205GN, SM-A205YN) is picking up its second major OS update, in the form of One UI 2.0 (Android 10). The update carries firmware version BTD3/BTD2 and is live for the users in Vietnam, Russia, Chile, Philippines, and Australia, while other regions are expected to join soon. The security patch level of this new update is April 2020. . . . . #techies_page_samsung #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxy #samsunggalaxya20 #galaxya20 #android #android10 #update #softwareupdate #oneui2point0 #oneui #vietnam #chile #philippines #russia #australia #usa #uk #unitedkingdom #unitedstates #canada #securitypatch #india #china https://www.instagram.com/p/B_eRDb_AzTI/?igshid=e35flts6kdmy

Over on the official OnePlus forums, Manu J., Global Product Operations Manager at OnePlus, announced that the company is ready to roll out the first beta OxygenOS 10 build based on Android 10 for the OnePlus 5 and 5T. OnePlus wants interested users to test this release before the company rolls out the update to the wider public. Because this is a test build, it won’t be available via an OTA update. However, unlike other Open Beta builds, you will receive OTA updates for future OxygenOS stable builds as well as Open Beta builds. That means you won’t have to wipe the data on your device to migrate from the Android 10 beta release to the stable release, but do keep in mind that if you’re still on the final Android 9 Pie-based OxygenOS Open Beta, you’ll have to perform a data wipe to upgrade to this new Android 10 beta release in the first place. Here is the stated changelog for the Android 10 Open Beta 1 update: Changelog System Brand new UI design brings light and fluid experience Updated to Android 10 Full Screen Gesture (OP5T Only) Newly added Hidden Bar to allow left-right switches of recent apps In addition to the changes listed here, there are also other features introduced in Android 10 and OxygenOS 10. . . . . #techies_page_oneplus #techies_page_update #techies_page_android10 #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #oneplus #oneplus5 #oneplus5t #android #android10 #update #softwareupdate #beta #ui #oxygenos #oxygenos10 #ota #openbeta #usa #unitedstates #uk #unitedkingdom #australia #indian #russia #canada #southkorea #china https://www.instagram.com/p/B_eAOWUgY3_/?igshid=13w9en5hqebhn

When we talk about software updates for smartphones, the Finnish manufacturer, Nokia is one of the fastest in the industry. Back in August 2019, Nokia already released its roadmap for Android 10. However, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the company had to revise the roadmap back in March. In the original schedule, Nokia 5.1 Plus was to get this update in Q1 2020. However, in the revised version, it was shifted to Q2 2020. We are just at the beginning of Q2 2020 and there is already a plethora of speculations regarding the Android 10 update for this smartphone. A few days ago, the Android 10 internal beta update leaks for Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco became available. Subsequently, a video that gave the first look at the Android 10 UI on Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco appeared online. A couple of days it came to light that the Nokia 5.1 Plus Android 10 update is almost here. Now, an alleged statement from Nokia support claims that the Nokia 5.1 Plus update could arrive anytime from now but most likely in early May.  . . . #techies_page_nokia #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #nokia #hmd #hmdglobal #nokia5point1plus #android10 #update #softwareupdate #nokia8sirocco #roadmap #q2 #q1 #softwareupdates #usa #uk #unitedstates #unitedkingdom #australia #canada #coronavirus #pandemic #europe #germany #spain https://www.instagram.com/p/B_K4C8JAcdx/?igshid=1kwev10kurg4g

Oppo is pretty good at revealing the timeline and meeting the same in case of releasing the updates. They managed to push the stable version of Android 10-based ColorOS 7 to Reno, Reno Ace, Reno Ace Gundam Edition and Reno 10x Zoom, followed by Find X Lamborghini Edition, Find X Super Flash Edition & Find X and Reno 2 recently. The OEM also promised the arrival of Android 10 on the Oppo F11 lineup and Oppo A9 on April 18, i.e. today, and living up to their words, the stable push has now been officially confirmed. The trial version has ended, and the stable build comes as vC.20. FYI while the earlier announcement also confirmed Android 10 for Oppo F11 Marvel’s Avengers Limited edition along with F11/11 Pro and A9, there’s no mention of it in the stable release post. The trial update for all the devices kick-started back in February. As a sidenote, Oppo F11 pro was also to get VoWiFi (aka WiFi calling) support along with the ColorOS 7 update. But it remains to be seen whether the feature has been enabled with the update or not. We’ll be looking for more information on this and will share it  . . . . #techies_page_oppo #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #oppof11 #oppof11pro #oppo #oppoa9 #android10 #coloros7 #coloros #usa #unitedstates #unitedkingdom #uk #russia #china #germany #canada #australia #voiceoverwifi #vowifi #update #rollingout #softwareupdate #oppofindx #opporenoace https://www.instagram.com/p/B_K0mz2goDt/?igshid=1frb0x8gzxkpt

Although the Redmi Note 7 has been receiving other updates like the addition of VoWiFi (WiFi calling) which came with the February security patch, users still want to know when to expect the Android 10 update for Redmi Note 7. Now, there is a glimpse of hope as a community moderator gave a hint as to when we should expect Android 10 on the Redmi Note 7. In the Q&A section of the Mi community forum, a user asked about it and here’s what they got to hear from a moderator: “…there is no official announcement about releasing time of Android 10 for RN7. It is expected in April last or May first half” Considering that we are already mid-way through April, this means that the update will arrive in about one month’s time. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #xiaomiredminote7 #xiaomiredminote7pro #redminote7 #redminote7pro #android10 #mi #redmi #vowifi #wificalling #voiceoverwifi #usa #uk #russia #australia #unitedkingdom #unitedstates #germany #india #china #update #androidupdate #softwareupdate https://www.instagram.com/p/B_KpMlQAo4K/?igshid=1lf9ikk0mybjn
