If Solar Flare and Jack were both in peak condition, both 100% focused, and both were in Bodyguard Mode, and they met up to do some friendly sparring or something. Who would win?

They were both initially made for the sole purpose of protecting someone, they both have features built into them that relate to that, and they're both capable of inflicting major damage

Idk how exactly Solar Flare fights, but I'd assume at least part of his thing is his hands. Since he's got some very scary sharp looking fingers going on. Meanwhile, Jack has dagger hands, enhanced speed, a tazer (I think), invisibility, and lasers. As well as some other stuff that I forget, which I'm pretty sure Solar removed

Solar Flare, that we know of, has only been in one fight (I think), as himself, while not being controlled by anyone else. Jack,, I think he tried to fight Dazzle's old body, and he assaulted numerous people before that, but also. He's the embodiment of ADHD, so I genuinely have no idea. He might have slightly more fighting experience than Solar Flare, but his attention span is much shorter than Solar Flare's, BUT whatever Solar Flare does, Jack could probably dodge or deflect somehow

Okay idea from the most recent ask. How would each member of the mirror sea family react to solar getting hurt so badly he nearly dies, especially added with solars already volatile state with the botched body transfer or whatever it's called I forgot. And maybe if you're comfortable could you do a little drabble? If not I'm okay with short descriptions and reactions. <3

It's almost in slow motion as it happens, and Killcode is too slow to stop it.

Like always

The sudden windstorm took them all by surprise, and he does have to wonder whether it was natural or something anomalious that caused it, but the end results are the same. It picks up their newly acquired scythe and speeds it towards none other than his most fragile child.

He catches Moon's optics, just before it hits, seeing the reflection of his own fear on his brother's face for the first time since they imprisonment. Then he has first class seat as it hits, impaling Solar through the chest.

His youngest looks down at it almost surprised, before his optics flash with errors and he collapses, burying the blasted tool into him more.

He's already too late when he gets there, but he gathers his child up, as well as his eldest brother, rushing back towards the house, ignoring everyone else.

Solar needs him more right now.

Moon curses as he rushes around the room, connecting his precious nephew to different machines he built to try and make repairs and maintanance easier, incredibly grateful for once for his... less than desirable tendencies.

They might just save Solar right now

To be honest if there weren't any issues, there would be no problems with this. They could just make a new body, and transfer Solar there. Sure, it'd suck, but he'd be fine and wouldn't be in pain afterwards.

But with a damaged chip, Moon's not sure Solar could handle the transfer. He's not sure his code wouldn't corrupt until he dies.

He grabs his toolbox, almost tripping with how fast he turns, but there's really no time right now. He needs to stabilise him right now

Seeing his youngest, softest nephew so still, injured from something else, is wrong. It's utterly wrong. Solar should only be injured by him, because he'd at least put him back together. He knows when that precipice is, and when to stop exactly. He wouldn't have caused this.

But there's no use wondering now. He needs to make sure his nephew is fine

Bloodmoon's only not frozen because they needed to drag their younger siblings back in. They couldn't leave them outside to get injured as well. Uncle Moon will be preoccupied by Solar right now.

Solar Flare is unresponsive. It's staring ahead of itself, hand still reaching out, as if to try and grab their brother. A twinge of sympathy fills them, because they too wish they could have stopped this. Or at the very least, to have taken the brunt of it.

They would have been fine if they were hit.

"Lunar, grab a blanket. We'll get them to the couch. Uncle" Uncle Sunny is clearly shaken, having witnessed the event from the terrace door. But they need him right now, because Father and Moon are busy with Solar "Could you make some tea please? Solar might also appreciate it when he wakes up"

That breaks Sun out of his stuppor

"Yes, yes, of course!"

They feel bad essentially lying, but they need their family to not stop now. They need them to keep going, and to not fall into shock right now, because that won't help their dying brother. It might just make things worse if he manages to pull through, and sees they have all gotten sick, or injured or something because they haven't been taking care of themselves.

Their youngest brother wouldn't want that. He's sweet like that

They try to ignore the voice in their head that's correcting it to was

It was so close. It was right there

And it couldn't help

That moment is replaying in his mind, over and over again, until it's all they can think about. Until it's all there is.

They keep seeing his shocked expression as it collides, keep seeing the slow blink of confusion, then the sudden spasm that made everything worse as errors began flashing in his optics.

There were no screams

All their limited knowledge on animatronics keeps flashing in their mind, almost as if mocking it. Almost like they want to highlight just how many important things are in there.

When they're forced to the couch they finally snap out of it enough to register Bloodmoon hovering before them. Their big brothers look too serious.

It grabs onto their arms, locking them in until they look into its eyes

'Is Solar going to die?'

They pull away with a choked whimper, curling into themselves as they begin to shake, sobbing loudly.

Their own optics say it all

'He probably will'

They barely feel their arms curl around him

Sun feels... lost. Useless

It's not the first time

He's not smart like Moony is. He's not unshakable like KC is. He's not strong like them. He's just... Sun.

He can't help Solar, his admitedly most fragile nephew, because no matter how hard he tries he just doesn't get mechanics. Even with the massage, he doesn't exactly know what he's doing, no matter how hard his baby brother is trying to teach him.

He just doesn't get it

Usually, that's not a problem. But it's always the situations he can't help in that are the worst.

But the nephews need him strong, so he forces himself to move forward, scooping Lunar from the floor where he just stopped, drawing the rest into a hug when he reaches the couch.

They need him to try and provide comfort, so despite feeling hollow inside, he'll do his best. Because he doesn't want to fail another nephew.

When the horrid image keeps flashing before his eyes he ignores it. He focuses instead on Solar Flare, who can't stop crying, on Lunar, who has just started shaking, and on Bloodmoon, who like usual, tries bottling it up for their siblings.

He draws them into a hug, reassuring himself that at least they are fine. Because if they weren't...

He doesn't want to find out what would happen if they weren't

Lunar knows he's no help. He knows he's not smart, knows if he tried to help his little brother, he'd only make it worse.

He really thought he'd never have to deal with something like this. He really, really thought, despite his sickness, that Solar would be fine, because he's so strong even with his body rebelling against him that surely nothing can harm him, right?

But here they are. His little brother is seriously injured, and he's here on the couch, shaking in Sunny's hold instead of trying to be helpful. Even if he doesn't know if he could help Moon right now, he could maybe finally clean out his room, pick up the games he promised Solar not to leave out, go back outside and grab anything else that wasn't taken by the wind, try and make some snacks for his brother when he wakes up even if it's only a fruitbowl and maybe get a change of clothing, because he's sure oily clothes are disgusting to wear.

There're so many things he could be doing, things that he really should do more, but instead he just continues sitting.

What if Solar dies? He didn't get to play It Takes Two with him yet! He didn't take Solar out to that cool creek he found the other day like he promised! He didn't sneak him any snacks like he usually does! He didn't get to go on a silly adventure with him yet!

There are so many things he still wants to do with him!

What if someone else also gets injured, and Lunar hasn't done any of the things he said he'd do for them? What if they all just die and he'll be left alone, with all these broken promises?

He begins worrying at his tail, unable to do anything else. Despite the looming fear of his family's mortality, he just continues doing nothing.

He doesn't want them to die

Solar can admit waking up is pretty bad, especially when his last memory is of a stupid scythe flying towards him. Why they bought it is a mystery to him, until he remembers they have a farm now, and they have to take care of that.

Oh, he's also in immesurable pain too! Probably because there's something on him.

When he opens his optics, he's shocked to find Killcode of all people resting his giant head on him. And are those tear tracks?!

His dad looks utterly exhausted, so terribly sad, and he's clutching at Solar like he might turn to ash if he lets go. He looks like he collapsed from exhaustion.

He startles at a sudden noise to his side, finding an equally haggard looking Moon leaning heavily against a shelf he knocked something off of, looking at him with big, wide red eyes.

Solar never felt so happy to see his uncle before

The lunar SCP rushes towards him, sliding the last couple feet until he can reach him with strangely gentle hands, and an even stranger soft expression. When he finds nothing wrong, he leans down until they can rest their foreheads together.

He reaches shaky hands up until he can wrap them around Moon's neck and shoulders, pulling him more against himself in pure relief. The SCP easily accomodates him, sliding his own arms underneath him uncharacteristically carefully.

That was awful. It's probably going to be something that stars in his nightmares for the rest of his life. It'll haunt him while he exists.

But he can admit it's nice to know just how much his family has his back. How far they'll go for him.

But that doesn't matter now. What matters is hugging his uncle, and trying and failing not to cry

Ruin’s such a good uncle. I love how much he’s grown and how he’s now able to be honest with not only others but with himself. The old Ruin would never willingly share his past without covering things up or openly admit wanting to lay down his life for anyone.

He says he’s only helping Eclipse because of Jake and Andy, only to follow it up with “I’m proud of you.”

I’m really glad Flare’s finally getting a second chance, can’t wait for him to meet the kids. Big brother Flare is becoming canon!

I got an idea about an AU where Solar Flare gets revived and joins the Eaps's Dimension.

I got the idea while making this post, So anyway here we go!!

Solar Flare is trying to figure out what to do with his life now he has free will, and he finds out that he's great with kids and starts hanging out with Charlie and Andrew more than Eclipse does, and maybe even the others start to like Solar Flare more than Eclipse.

And what if Eclipse doesn't mind at first but starts to get REALLY JEALOUS!! even if he doesn't realize it.

Like what if Eclipse loved It at first being able to do his work without being constantly interrupted, but after a while he starts to realize how quiet it is in his lab and starts to feel really alone, It may even start to terrify him.

So he goes to the others only to find out that they like Solar Flare so much, like to the point that maybe even they call Solar Flare the "Better Eclipse" which might send him into a rage or panic attack, because of what happened with the Mimic.

And poor Solar Flare who didn't even realize what was happening tries to help Eclipse only to be pushed away, after Eclipses meltdown Flare starts to think he's ruining Eclipses only chance to be better by taking his only friends away from him and making him feel inferior.

So Solar Flare tries everything he can to help Eclipse even if Eclipse hates him.

That's all I've got so far and I already love it. So much angst and fluff potential.

I love to make this into a full story and I'll be happy to see any new ideas, so please message me if you have any. 😊

Somehow both lunar and solarflare designs gave me problems, for different reasons. Lunar myth as well have somthing from every forme he's taken, while solarflare's ray spike things are easy to draw ugly. Anyway I wanted to show the siblings being close, so we have eclipse carrying a sleeping lunar back to the nest, probable because lunar though that eclipse needed cudling while he worked. And solarflare holding a pissy eclipse, there's to many reasons I could see it happening. From the hide&get chased game the family plays, to eclipse geting forced in to a break or simply eclipse being his grumpy self. Who knows?

If this ever happened, it'd need to be its own fic, so this isn't even soft canon like all the other drabbles xd

So uhh, this is probably not going to be all the characters meeting all the characters, for that I'd need to write an actual oneshot and not just these drabble thingies I post here

Solar winces as his legs twitch and pain flares up. He grabs at the right one, the one that's currently worse, in the hopes if he gives it a squeeze it will hurt just a little less.

Today, so far, has not been his day

The couch dips as his dad sits down next to him, taking his offending limbs in hand. He's a lot better at massaging them than Solar is.

"Perhaps you should have worn the long legged pants I told you to during sleep"

"Oh fuck off"

Killcode tuts reproachfully, but he doesn't stop the blessed massage so it's all fine.

"Where's everyone?"

"Cleaning the house, gardening or hunting. Much needs to be done when one lives in the fore-"

A scream cuts through everything that's... terrifyingly familiar, and then the air above the couch breaks open and a familiar blur of colours fall through, slamming into the couch next to him. He can feel his father freeze, and he freezes too but for different reasons because that's-

The figure groans, rubbing at his head as he untangles himself. He turns groggily back towards the portal, but it's already closing behind itself

"Oh for the love of god!"

Ah yes, that's his voice alright. Back when he still had some will to live in himself

Finally, familiar white-gold optics turn towards them, and the familiar stranger freezes too.

"Ugh..."

...

"Is your name Eclipse by chance?"

Clearly the stranger recognises his voice too, because he makes a somewhat aborted gesture between themselves. Solar nods.

"Huh. Cool. Also yeah, sup I'm Eclipse"

"I go by Solar now"

He can feel his dad look between them, but right now he ignores it, because this is incredibly fascinating and one doesn't often get to talk to their past sel-

"You have SCPs too"

Or maybe not past

"Oh yeah, then I don't need to introduce my dad"

"Nah, I have my own. Though by this point he'd have probably snatched me away from the rando that landed on our couch"

"Can't exactly do that. One of my chips is damaged and I have integration issues"

"Ah, that sounds like it sucks. My condolences"

Before Solar could reply, the air frizzles again, breaking open once more

"Oh for fuck's-"

Now Killcode grabs him, wrenching them away from the couch as even more figures fall out of the sky, landing on the poor sod. All of them are familiar.

"KC your leg is in my face!"

That's Moon

"I can't exactly move when half of you are on me"

Yepp, familiar nightmarish voice

"Will you two shut up and start moving?! We are crushing Eclipse!"

Huh, he's never heard Sun so angry before.

The pile of SCPs begins untangling itself, but it's a clearly slow process. So Solar looks at Killcode pleadingly, who just sighs. He does obligingly walk over to start helping people up

Outcomes, as expected, a Bloodmoon, a rather stoic Solar Flare who's eyeing the now torn up couch blankly, a Lunar, then it's the other Killcode's turn who drags his own brothers up. The tension in the room skyrockets as the two giant SCPs look at one another, but the stranger backs down thankfully. Probably mostly out of manners.

"Oh dear lord, fresh air! Thank you strange Killcode, thank you!"

Eclipse pulls himself up rather dramatically, and Solar has to surpress a twinge of jealousy at how easily, how painlessly he moves. Why can't he have that?

"You also have everyone out, so I don't think there needs to be any introductions."

"No, I'm fine. The biggest difference is me I think"

And clearly the personalities too, because this Killcode looks everyone over, picking them up and giving them a nuzzle, this Moon is more busy also looking everyone over and this Solar Flare seems to have troubles emoting. Or at least he thinks it does, because it's just been staring at the couch, but he swears it looks guilty.

"Yeah, nice body by the way. I can only imagine how nice and mushy it must have been to switch into it. A real ten out of ten experience, would repeat daily"

Solar can't help it, he snorts. Okay, this bastard is somewhat amusing, he will give him that.

"Yeah, I would have liked to stay in my second body too"

"SCPs?"

He nods and the other nods back. He probably also had similar experiences

"I almost had to change frames once too, because I was maimed pretty badly. Luckily the frame could be fixed up, and none of my more important components suffered damage"

Lucky him. Solar would give anything to live without pain. Or well, he would give many things.

But never his family

"Should I be happy your Bloodmoon isn't here? Are they also the maim first ask questions later types of people?"

Solar snorts again. That is somewhat of an understatement

"They can control themselves. If I told them not to attack you, you would have been fine"

He recognises that glint in those optics. That need to know more. He once looked like that too, curious about everything that surrounded him. He wanted to know things.

He limps back to the couch, grateful when his dad assists him to hop back down. He can already tell this is going to be a rather long day.

But perhaps not a horrible one

okay everyone saying that eclipse is going to adopt solar flare as his fifth child and they're going to have a similar dynamic as the rest of his children-hear me out hEAR ME OUT-

Solar Flare knew Eclipse from Eclipse's second iteration. That was nearly two years ago. They were forced headmates for months. Solar Flare is probably on of the few people (second or arguably more than Lunar as well as Ruin) who actually understands the way Eclipse thinks.

Remember those interactions they had in that laboratory on the sun? Remember that last moment they shared before being blown apart in that alternate dimension? There's no way either of them forgot that. For Flare, that's probably one of the freshest memories he has of Eclipse. Being there and providing the comfort he could and assuring Eclipse that he understood his intentions and that he really could have been a better person if he'd wanted to be.

It's been two years. It's not the same Eclipse. That Eclipse had a star and a superiority complex and an inability to find a new purpose. This Eclipse has four children and a pet dog and a platonic co-parent friend and is quietly grieving over so many events that happened so quickly. And Solar Flare is such a stark reminder of the past for him. Someone who would have encouraged him to be better, someone who saw past the visions of grandiosity and found the person who just wanted to prove himself to be as capable as who he used to be. And he isn't that person anymore. It's been two years and two more iterations of himself and he is so tired of being what he used to be.

So I don't think he and Solar Flare would be a father-son dynamic. I think they're just two people on two opposite ends of time who crossed paths once and nodded in solemn understanding the second time. And this time, Eclipse is crossing paths, and Flare is walking with him.
