Okay, alright

Let's start

1) Tolkien Legendarium (since February 2024)

I'm a linguistics, most likely philology nerd and this man created TONS OF LANGUAGES just for he got bored and wrote an creation myth to his OC's

I love the whole Arda in general, it doesn't matter which time the story takes place or where it takes place

However my favourite time period of all is between Y.T 1495 and F.A 590

I even made a whole presentation about The High Kings of Ñoldor in literature class and I got an 100 🙂

2) DC Comics (since 2022(partially 2015-2016))

DC is a total mess.

Completely, it is a mess when you're both trying to watch something or read something

No order, no logical explanations, everything is in chaos

God, I love it

Especially Batfam

This city and family is full of angst and tragedy

They're full of traumas, yet family chaos, psychological issues and tons of responsibilities which shouldn't be on their shoulders

I adore them

Jason and Tim are my babies and that's all thanks for listening to me

3) Marvel Cinematic Universe (Infinity Saga+some of phase 4 series) (since 2021(partially 2015-2016))

First of all I'm a #teamstark

And this was the top of my teenager obsessions at one time

MCU has an order, everything is planned and on a plane

If you're interested in this you easily may connect so many dots and understand a whole

I loved MCU for its domestic and friendly vibes

4) Shakespeare Tragedies (since April 2023)

I'm a theater kid, really

I'm in the theatre club of my school and I've been in 5 or 6 plays since 2023 and by the next week, I'll be performing a play in Arabic which is my 3rd language.

I love reading theatre texts and especially Shakespeare, for his chaos and tragedies.

Hamlet, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, Othello, Macbeth, Julius Caesar and many other

I really love tragedies

5) Jujutsu Kaisen (since July 2024)

This is totally because of my bff who was currently obsessed with it at that time.

God, I love tragedies and domestic stuff at the same time, I know BUT WHAT GEGE DID WAS UNFAIR

I'm kinda traumatised by the end of it

6) Harry Potter (since May 2019)

I don't even follow or do stuff about this but this was the first fandom which I got in contact with real people instead of myself again.

7) Gravity Falls

It is a classic at this point. Same things with 6

8) Heathers the Musical (since June 2023)

I LOVE musicals. Me myself is kinda musical and this was the very first musical I've ever watched and also it was the first video which I didn't watch with Turkish subtitles

Full of chaos, teenage bullshit, musical numbers and also CHAOS

~Football~ (since June 2024(partially 2015-2018, 2020-2022))

I'm a Beşiktaş supporter

I've always known something about football but I was younger than and when I was preparing for big exams in my life, I put aside football.

This year I turned back with EURO2024 and I really was thinking of stopping it there but because of boredom and some gossiping issues I started to consume things with football once again in July and I'm sure it was a fault by these two months that we have passed

Beşiktaş may be getting too tiring, you know?

And being obsessed with football is not so easy especially if the management of your favorite team is in terrible chaos

It is also tiring if your national team is in kind of a chaos too

I like how literally no one from his own family is on his side for this, everyone is like "no that's our shitty jorah who flushed the reputation of the house down the drain for his shitty impulsive marriage, at least he left the family sword behind anyway #TeamStark!"

That's the really sad thing about Jorah wanting to "go home". Even if someone did pardon him, no one on Bear Isle would accept him back. Sure he could nominally be head of the house again but would he be? Would anyone see him as a leader? He's even still married but can't have kids and continue the line, because Lynesse left him!

He's a man who can never go home because his home is gone. His family are strangers who despise him. He has this in common with Dany, but also in common with Robert.

Marvel: In Iron Man Tony gets kidnapped, captured and tortured. He thinks he's going to die and finds himself needing an arc reactor to survive. He gets betrayed by his father figure who wants to kill him and almost dies sacrificing himself.

Us: Tony deserves to be happy, I hope he will be soon?

Marvel: In Iron Man 2 Tony is dying because of his arc reactor and nobody sees that he is in trouble. And he gets attacked by Vanko.

Us: Ok but can Tony be happy with Pepper now?

Marvel: no, in Avengers, Tony loses Coulson, fights aliens, realizes the danger coming, is traumatized, and he sacrifices himself and almost dies again.

Us: Okay can you leave Tony alone and let him be happy now?

Marvel: Now in Iron Man 3, Tony has ptsd, nightmares, insomnia and anxiety attacks. The fear that the aliens will come back is constantly torturing him, he's afraid that he can't protect his loved ones. He almost loses Pepper but everything is fine and he removes his arc reactor.

Us: This is a good end. Can he live a peaceful life now?

Marvel: No, in Avengers 2 he has a vision of his biggesr fear, and sees all his friends die. He tries to protect everyone but no one listens to him, they criticize him, and blame him. And he thinks he will die again in Sokovia.

Us: But Tony doesn't deserve all this suffering! Can you let him build his farm for him and Pepper and live happily as he always wanted?

Marvel: no no. In Civil War for him it's pain pain and more pain. He is not with Pepper anymore. A mother comes to tell him that he is responsible for her son's death. He is betrayed and abandoned by everyone. He learns that his parents were killed and sees them die, he learns that his friend knew and lied to him. He is attacked, seriously injured and left alone in Siberia.

Us: Oh my god but why is he always the one who suffers the most?? he doesn't deserve this at all!!

Marvel: In Homecoming he helps Peter, he still has anxiety attacks and worries about him but everything ends well. He's back with Pepper and they're getting married.

Us: Oh... finally!

Marvel: Just kidding, in Infinity War he has to go into space and risk his life even though all he wants is kids and a quiet life with Pep. He has to face his biggest fear that has terrified him for 11 years, ane which finally becomes reality. And he loses Peter in his arms.

Us: We beg you, please, let him live with his family and be happy forever, after all he's been through..

Marvel: So, in Endgame first he'll spend weeks in space with no water, no food and no oxygen just waiting to die. Then he'll get a taste of what happiness is, he'll be married and have a child. But all this to die 5 years after, and losing everything. And that at the very moment when he bring Peter back and could finally be happy.

Marvel: Yeah, this ending is perfect. 5 years is enough, Tony's life is finished.
