I think this is my final word on RWBY before the Volume 6 review goes up.

Maybe I’ll say something else down the line, but I think this about sums it up as well as anything else will.

wasn’t that one of the team FRBT guys? at any rate, yeah, i agree with that criticism. doesn’t make sense for a lot of things to be the same as they are in our world if one risk of widespread negativity was extinction.

which... should also really impact how mass movements and such are viewed? it should have a really big effect on the world. it should effect how information in general is exchanged, social norms, all that stuff. like for example, one of the reasons Volume 3′s finale felt off to me was like... it was already established that like there was a lot of upheaval around the White Fang and the Faunus (so much of vol 2 focused on this)... but what really set the people of Vale off was a death at a sporting event and cinder’s dumb speech??

penny’s death caused more negativity than racial tension... which, I mean,  mean it makes sense that Vale would give more a shit about a robot girl than about the faunus is more proof of how racist they are... but i still don’t like it.

Endings are hard, but I feel that it’s finally time to put Youtube on the back burner for the time being and really focus on my writing.

Disclaimer: while there was a lot of fun that happened, I also went into the reasons why I left FRBT and walked away from Youtube for a good while, and that gets a little more depressing. A lot of the stuff I never made public before now. It was nice of the chat to allow me to vent that for a bit.
