Also, previously-unmentioned headcanon, but I think Archie could get along with Cyrus (tho Cyrus finds his scheme illogical), in the sense that Cyrus clearly needs help/therapy/some kinda positive influence, and Archie's got that big bro instinct.

Thanks to KuroBlitz96, we have the bios for Lysandre and the Flare scientists (at least some info anyway for the latter!), finally! (and still no concept art/model sheets 😵‍💫)

It's machine-translated so some parts don't make the most sense, but he was conceptualized to be in his 30s (personally, I always assumed 38-42) and had a Mega Charizard.

Honestly, given how much they utilize Charizard in promoting the new mechanics or how many heroic characters have Charizard as an ace, I couldn't see them giving it to a major villain like him anymore, at least one that's a threat to the entire world.

(They also point out how fashionable he is and that he wouldn't look out of place next to Sycamore.)

Also, ain't no way any of the lady Flare scientists ended up being in their mid30s by the final product. (I always headcanonned Celosia as the oldest tho, but Aliana seemed to be young-20s.)
