Hi Slug! If possible could you please translate the new updated timeline from the second guidebook? Thank you so much 🙏

I typically don't want to translate any sort of paid content, but I'll make an exception just this once so we can publicly shame Hypmic for its ludicrous timeline have this as a resource.

The guidebook's timeline is split into two halves corresponding to Chuuouku and the six Divisions featured in the storyline. For ease of reading, I've combined them into one and placed them in order (as much as possible).

The translation is as direct as possible. I do not translate word by word by the dictionary when there are more straightforward or natural-sounding equivalents available, and I do not incorporate features of the source grammar and punctuation that are nonsensical in English. Apart from that, this is super cut-and-dry. It's a timeline lol.

Finally, a note about the "H Age" (H歴) year system: While treated as its own calendar system similar to BCE and CE (or BC/AD), the H Age notation is otherwise similar to Japanese "eras." In real life, a new era corresponds to a new emperor taking the throne, so Otome's rise to power and the subsequent beginning of the H Age marks a paradigm shift. Eras can start in the middle of a calendar year, so Year 1 of the H Age isn't necessarily from January to December (in so much as Hypmic has months anyway). Let's arbitrarily say it started in June 2024. (Did it? No idea. I made this up for argument's sake.) That means Year 1 is June - December of 2024 while "one year prior" is January - May also of 2024. Therefore, "two years prior" is January - December of 2023. And so on and so forth.

Ramuda clones use the True Hypnosis Mic to brainwash Sasara and Kuukou. Kuukou tells Ichirou their friendship is over and leaves for Nagoya. Sasara does the same and returns to Osaka.

Ichirou, Samatoki, Ramuda, and Jakurai form The Dirty Dawg.

The Dirty Dawg gains supremacy over every Division in Japan. A Ramuda clone puts Yotsutsuji in a brainwashing-induced coma.

A Ramuda clone brainwashes Nemu. She goes on to join the Party of Words.

Ichirou and Samatoki battle one another in accordance with a Chuuouku plot. At the same time, Jakurai and Ramuda fight over the Yotsutsuji situation. This leads to The Dirty Dawg disbanding.

The Party of Words disables all preexisting Hypnosis Mics distributed [through their program in Year 1] and recalls the mics.

The Party of Words creates the Division Rap Battle program.

Year 3 of the H Age

Ichirou, Samatoki, Ramuda, and Jakurai receive mics from Chuuouku.

The Division Rap Battle program begins.

Ichirou forms the Buster Bros with Jirou and Saburou.

Samatoki forms Mad Trigger Crew with Juuto and Riou.

Jakurai forms Matenrou with Hifumi and Doppo.

Ramuda forms Fling Posse with Gentarou and Dice.

Preliminary matches begin within each Division. The Buster Bros, Mad Trigger Crew, Fling Posse, and Matenrou win their respective preliminaries, thus advancing to the finals.

Ichijiku uses a Hypnosis Canceler for the first time.

In the first DRB tournament, Mad Trigger Crew wins round 1 against the Buster Bros.

In the first DRB tournament, Matenrou wins round 2 against Fling Posse.

In the first DRB tournament, Matenrou wins the final match against Mad Trigger Crew and takes the championship.

Hitaki Tsumabira, Vice Director General of the Criminal Bureau, and the Tobari brothers attempt to lay a trap for the Buster Bros, Mad Trigger Crew, Fling Posse, and Matenrou. Their plot fails.

Ichijiku has Tsumabira purged from the Party of Words for using the Tobari brothers to traffic the Grasshopper drug.

The Party of Words announces the second DRB.

Kuukou and Sasara receive mics from Chuuouku.

Rei meets Sasara and Roshou. The three go on to form Dotsuitare Hompo.

Hitoya introduces Juushi to Kuukou, who takes Juushi under his wing as an apprentice. The three go on to form Bad Ass Temple.

Ichirou notices Nemu's name on a list of missing persons and meets up with Sasara and Roshou to find out more. Rei meets with Jirou and Saburou. He reveals that he is their father and that Ichirou has been lying to them.

Nemu becomes the Vice Director General of the Administrative Inspection Bureau.

Nemu, still brainwashed, shows up in front of Samatoki with other Chuuouku members. Ramuda confesses to Samatoki that he brainwashed her.

Gentarou and Dice learn that Ramuda is a clone.

Chuuouku approaches Jakurai for his crucial assistance in improving the True Hypnosis Mic in order to bring Yotsutsuji out of his coma. Jakurai and Hitoya reunite. Meanwhile, Hifumi and Doppo meet Kuukou and Juushi.

Chuuouku decides to have Ramuda killed. Honobono enlists the Word Wreckers to join her in hunting him down. Gentarou and Dice come to his rescue and spirit him away to safety, but now all three are wanted as outlaws.

Dice performs a trade with Otome, giving her the Chuuouku expose left behind by Gentarou's older brother. Ramuda is allowed to go free, and Fling Posse is granted permission to participate in the second DRB.

Jakurai agrees to cooperate with Chuuouku under certain conditions. Honobono pays a visit to Hifumi's club.

Juuto arrests Sekirei Hanmyou, the man responsible for the drug that led to Juuto's friend and parents' deaths.

Nemu arrests Tsumabira, now escaped from prison, and her coconspirator in crime Misago Haebaru. Honobono rises to position of Vice Director General of the Criminal Bureau in Tsumabira's place.

Ichirou battles Jirou while Saburou battles Rei. The brothers make up afterward.

After receiving advice from Rei, Sasara and Roshou battle one another and come clean about their feelings. With that bad blood washed away, the team comes together stronger than ever.

Juushi comes face to face with the boy who bullied him and took his grandmother's life. Through his own fortitude, Juushi prevails through the mental distress. After talking with Kuukou, Hitoya lets go of the past in seeking revenge for the death of his brother. The team comes together stronger than ever.

The second DRB preliminaries come to an end. The Buster Bros, Mad Trigger Crew, Fling Posse, Matenrou, Dotsuitare Hompo, and Bad Ass Temple advance to the finals.

In the second DRB tournament, the Buster Bros win round 1 against Dotsuitare Hompo.

In the second DRB tournament, Matenrou wins round 2 against Bad Ass Temple.

In the second DRB tournament, Fling Posse wins round 3 against Mad Trigger Crew.

In the second DRB tournament, Fling Posse wins the final match against the Buster Bros and Matenrou, thus claiming the championship.

Sasara and Kuukou learn that they were brainwashed. Ramuda opens up to Jakurai and tells him the truth. Ichirou and Samatoki learn the truth as well, thereby resolving the feuds between the team leaders.

The Party of Words announces the third DRB.

The Party of Words locates and seizes control of Rei's laboratory. In an exchange of hostages, the Party gains control of the True Hypnosis Mic and Ramuda clones.

Otome announces plans for world domination before Rei attempts a coup d'tat. All Hypnosis Mics are disabled, and Otome and Ichijiku are sent to maximum security prison by the very Ramuda clones Rei created.

Public order breaks down following the disabling of the mics.

Ichirou discovers Rei's connection to the Hypnosis Mics due to Gentarou's brother's expose. The main cast, led by Jirou and Saburou, hold a music festival to bring courage to everyone struggling with the political turmoil.

Honobono frees the inmates of Chuuouku's maximum security prison. After staging an attack on the music festival, she disappears from the eye of Chuuouku.

Rei and Ichirou have a fistfight over their respective moral positions. Rei acknowledges his defeat, reconsiders his moral stance, and reactivates all Hypnosis Mics.

Armed with a working mic once more, Nemu takes command and restores order within Chuuouku. Otome decides to step down from her position in government.

It is because False gets overlooked even in a False centric poll. This is a pattern. Also sorry for using your ask as a vent post lol.

I love Skizz and his energy, I think he's awesome with people, he is certainly good at the whole "duo thing" buuuut this is not a Skizz duo poll. Or even a Hermitcraft duo poll. It is a False duo poll. I think people voted for Skizz because of Skizz, not False, or even Skizz-False. Like yeah it was funny when Skizz held False hostage in the charity event. But are people voting for moments like that or do they just like Skizz in general?

This was also what I was trying to see with the False MCC poll— 17 is of course iconic as a whole, and especially for Grian, and I would definitely rank it very high in a Hermit MCC poll (possibly right behind Blue9, sorry Orange10). But False had better performances in 29 and 10, and 9 had better chemistry than 17 because she didn't really get spoken over in 9. Or 10 and 29. (Whereas in 17 it was a Thing enough for Pete to mention it afterwards apparently.) 17 has cool False moments of course— SG the one I remember the most— but people don't really bring that up. So did people vote for 17 in a False centric poll because they liked False's performance in 17 and overall team chemistry (things related to and influenced by False) or because they like 17 in general?

It is not that deep but also seeing False's diminishing relevance in the mainstream HC fandom over the years is kinda... disappointing. Someone who's never watched a hermit on MCCReddit will mention False Supremacy. HBomb's chat loves False. Like I don't even know what happened?? False has been posting regularly, always have, she does her builds and collabs and pranks and infrastructure, she won the first event of the season, outsiders love her, and...? Like don't we love our slay cool #girlboss queen of hearts? Or does she need a different fanon archetype now? The mischievous prankster? The silly wet cat? The healer type who loves animals and gives them stupid names? The competitive warrior? Would you still love me when I'm no longer the designated girlboss of the group or whatever

Like ok yeah this is me being bitchy and a gatekeeper and False isn't even the most underrated hermit and she gets her share of love in fanart and stuff but yeah I've noticed the decline. You've got Redditors mentioning Empires people in the crossover in response to someone asking about Empires but not mentioning one hermit who was actually also in Empires. You've got people talking about "Hermitgals" but they replace False and Stress with Lizzie. You've got the fallout of Demise 2. You've got Redditors talking about Rendoc in relation to Ren like his only relevance is being Doc's friend/collab buddy when False exists and she's his favourite hermit. And you've got the False duo poll. Won't even go into the view counts/ sub counts because that's depressing for what feels like at least a third of the hermits (Cubfan you deserve way more). Doesn't feel good.

Back in 2020/21 she got shat on and her achievements ignored by some DSMP fans and now the same thing is happening but it's worse because it's from some HC fans. The call is coming from inside the house. And once again False isn't even the most overlooked hermit. For example Iskall STILL gets horrific hate comments about how he doesn't "deserve" to be a hermit because he plays VH more.

Hermitcraft is popular. I wish the other third of it is more popular.

What got you into Quidditch initially? I don't remember which position you were applying for during the trials since I had to re-establish my Seeker supremacy. But the way you kept catching that Quaffle today? The force with which it was being thrown through the loops would've probably taken me through together with the ball!

Without Sebastian and Imelda, it would most likely take us much more time to get this far. But from what I've seen, you have some natural talent for catching a Golden Snitch. So, maybe it would be less difficult for you.

Actually, my parents are friends with a person who used to play Quidditch in school. During their years of studying, of course. When they told me stories about the games and showed me pictures, I got really into the idea of it. That's why the moment I was able to, I took part in the trials. I also think that you can see how my strength is helpful in those situations.

But I'm certain that with you on the pitch we will win, regardless of anything else.

Civil war has broken out within the MAGA Republicans. 

On the one side are the traditional MAGAs, who tend to be white, anti-immigrant, and less educated than the rest of the U.S. They believe that the modern government’s protection of equal rights for women and minorities has ruined America, and they tend to want to isolate the U.S. from the rest of the world. They make up Trump’s voting base.

On the other side are the new MAGAs who appear to have taken control of the incoming Trump administration. Led by Elon Musk, who bankrolled Trump’s campaign, the new MAGA wing is made up of billionaires, especially tech entrepreneurs, many of whom are themselves immigrants.

During the campaign, these two wings made common cause because they both want to destroy the current U.S. government, especially as President Joe Biden had been using it to strengthen American democracy.

Traditional MAGA wants to get rid of the government that protects equality and replace it with one that enforces white male supremacy and Christianity. New MAGA—which some have started to call DOGE, after the Department of Government Efficiency run by Musk and pharmaceutical entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy—wants to get rid of the government that regulates business, especially technology, and protects American interests against competition from countries like China.

Their shared commitment to the destruction of the current government is about the only overlap between these two factions.

With the campaign over, traditional MAGA and DOGE are ripping apart. Trump sparked the fight when he announced on Sunday, December 22, that he would appoint Musk associate Sriram Krishnan, who was born in India, as a senior policy advisor on artificial intelligence.

On Monday, MAGA activist Laura Loomer criticized Trump’s choice of Krishnan. Loomer was in Trump’s inner circle until three months ago, when her anti-immigrant tirades made Trump campaign staff worry she would cost Trump votes and forced her out of his public schedule. Loomer noted that Krishnan wants to remove the cap on green cards for workers from certain countries.

Krishnan has also called for making it easier for skilled foreign workers to come to the U.S. on H-1B temporary visas. These programs are important to the technology sector, but critics say they enable companies to hire foreign workers at lower pay than U.S. workers, that H-1B workers are trapped in their jobs, and that wage theft is rampant in the H-1B program.

Loomer said those jobs “should be given to American STEM students.” Then she got to the heart of the matter, complaining that MAGA is getting left out of the new administration. She noted that “none of the tech executives who are meeting with Trump and getting appointed in his cabinet supported him in 2020 or during the 2024 primary.” She continued: “I feel like many of them are trying to get into Trump’s admin[istration] to enrich themselves and get contracts at [the] D[epartment] O[f] D[efense]. This is not America First Policy.”

When another tech entrepreneur and Trump appointee David Sacks defended Krishnan, Loomer made a series of racist posts, claiming among other things that: "Our country was built by white Europeans, actually. Not third-world invaders from India." She said, "It's not racist against Indians to want the original MAGA policies I voted for. I voted for a reduction in H-1B visas. Not an extension."

On Wednesday, December 25—Christmas, a major holiday for MAGA supporters—Musk took a stand against Loomer and the MAGAs. He posted on X that the U.S. needs twice the number of engineers it has, and welcomed foreign engineers. “The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low,” he tweeted. “Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.”

Loomer responded: “Is DOGE real? Or is it a vanity project?” Others complained about the “Tech Bros” “hubris [and] arrogance with their flippant, condescending, and elitist responses to legitimate criticisms of the H1B1 program.” Still others pointed out that there were big layoffs in tech this year and asked why they weren’t getting rehired if there was such a desperate need for workers.

Musk posted: “Investing in Americans is actually hard. Really hard. It costs money and time and effort to make a person productive. It’s a short term net loss. It’s much easier to bring in skilled workers who might not do quite a good a job [sic], but will work for a fraction of the cost and be happy just to be here.”   

Loomer responded: “The elephant in the room is that [Musk], who is not MAGA and never has been, is a total f*cking drag on the Trump transition. He’s a stage 5 clinger who over stayed his welcome at Mar a Lago in an effort to become Trump’s side piece and be the point man for all of his accomplices in big Tech to slither in to Mar a Lago.” [sic]

Musk called Loomer a troll, and she responded that “Telling the truth isn’t trolling… You bought your way into MAGA 5 minutes ago…. We all know you only donated your money so you could influence immigration policy and protect your buddy Xi JinPing.”

Thursday everything broke open. Ramaswamy, who was born in Ohio to parents who immigrated to America from India, posted on X an indictment of American culture that seemed a direct assault on MAGA Republicans, who have been vocal about their disdain for education.

Ramaswamy posted that tech companies hire foreign-born and first-generation engineers rather than native-born Americans because “American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long…. A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers.” He called for “[m]ore math tutoring, fewer sleepovers. More weekend science competitions, fewer Saturday morning cartoons. More books, less TV. More creating, less ‘chillin.’ More extracurriculars, less ‘hanging out at the mall.’”

“If you grow up aspiring to normalcy, normalcy is what you will achieve,” he warned. “‘Normalcy’ doesn’t cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent. And if we pretend like it does, we’ll have our a**es handed to us by China.” He called for America to embrace “a new golden era,” but warned it was possible “only if our culture fully wakes up. A culture that once again prioritizes achievement over normalcy; excellence over mediocrity; nerdiness over conformity; hard work over laziness. That’s the work we have cut out for us, rather than wallowing in victimhood & just wishing (or legislating) alternative hiring practices into existence.”

With that, the fat was in the fire. 

MAGA dragged Ramaswamy, with even former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley retorting: “There is nothing wrong with American workers or American culture. All you have to do is look at the border and see how many want what we have. We should be investing and prioritizing in Americans, not foreign workers.” Haley ran for president against Trump but ultimately endorsed him. She is herself the child of Indian immigrants.

Loomer also hit back against Musk, posting: “Is DOGE a way to ‘cut spending’ or REDIRECT the spending toward the pet projects of tech bro billionaires? It’s looking like the latter, T[o] B[e] H[onest].” She continued: “‘Hey, let’s convince the peasants that we are saving them money as we enrich ourselves!’” Another right-wing poster wondered: “How did DOGE go from ‘let’s cut wasteful government spending’ to ‘here’s why we need to import more immigrants’ almost overnight?”

When Musk appeared to limit Loomer’s ability to use X, she posted: “I have always been America First and a die hard supporter of President Trump and I believe that promises made should be promises kept. Donald Trump promised to remove the H1B visa program and I support his policy. Now, as one of Trump’s biggest supporters, I’m having my free speech silenced by a tech billionaire for simply questioning the tech oligarchy.” Other right-wing accounts accused Musk of censoring them, too, and racist anti-immigrant sentiments flowed freely.

On Friday, when cartoonist and right-wing commenter Scott Adams posted that MAGA was “taking a page from Democrats on how to lose elections while feeling good about themselves,” Musk agreed and added: “And those contemptible fools must be removed from the Republican Party, root and stem.”

Loomer commented that Musk “is now referring to MAGA as ‘contemptible fools.’... The Trump base is being replaced by Big Tech executives. So sad to see this.” She tagged Trump and added “I feel so sad for MAGA.” Meanwhile, other MAGA supporters on X piled on Musk, complaining that he had not paid them, as promised, for their participation in his “free speech” petition during the campaign.

By today, key Trump ally Steve Bannon, a central figure in MAGA, had taken to another right-wing social media platform to warn his supporters that Musk is showing his “true colors” and to demand that the H-1B visa program be “zeroed-out.” Another right-wing influencer, Jack Posobiec, tweeted: “Today was the day we found out who is getting rich by screwing over the American worker.”

Trump did not weigh in on the fight but, in what appeared to be intended to be a private communication to Musk, wrote on his social media site: “Where are you? When are you coming to the ‘Center of the Universe,’ Mar-a-Lago. Bill Gates asked to come, tonight. We miss you and x! New Year’s Eve is going to be AMAZING!!! DJT.” (According to Aaron Pellish and Alayna Treene of CNN, “x” here likely refers to Musk’s son X Æ A-Xii.)

Why does this all matter? Because while Trump’s people keep insisting he won in a landslide and has a mandate that he will put in place on day one, his fragile coalition is splintering even before he takes office.

Trump won less than 50% of the vote. Despite their slim victory, the Republican Party was already in a civil war between MAGA and establishment Republicans who are fed up with the MAGAs who threaten to burn down the government and almost a century of international diplomacy: just a week ago, Senate Republicans were publicly complaining about the dysfunctional “sh*t show” and “fiasco” in the House.

Now, with Trump not even in office yet, the two factions of Trump’s MAGA base—which, indeed, have opposing interests—are at war.

Chapter 25: Talking About What Happened

Varax lands the shuttle outside Theed, laying back on the pilot’s seat as he sighs with relief. “Goddamnit Varax, you just had to be a hero” he says to himself, wincing in pain due to his scarred back and shoulders. He gets up and grabs Rey, who’s awake but almost lifeless. Almost as if her spirit has left her body, leaving only a husk of her old self “C’mon Rey, let's get out of here and head back to HQ. Hopefully 2V can patch us up” he says as he walks out of the control room. Rey doesn’t even respond, she just gets up and walks out, not even saying a word. 

Aliana sees Ren’s dropship, almost reaching her arm out to crush the bastard's shuttle before seeing Rey and Varax walk out of it. “Rey! Varax! What happened?! Are you hurt?! I’ll get 2V and the medical squa-” she says before Rey hugs her, burying her face into the Sith’s shoulder as she cries softly. Varax limps over, a look of pity and sadness on his face “We got captured by Ren and his Knights, they…” he says before stopping himself, almost getting sick at the thought of what happened to Rey aboard Snoke’s warship “They tortured us, Rey got the worst of it” he says, still wincing in pain from his burns as 2V and a medical team come to walk Varax to the medical tent.

Aliana walks Rey over to the Fury, her girlfriend was pale, almost as if she was  a ghost, which scared Aliana more than anything. The two sat down as Aliana clears her throat “Hun, I don’t know what went on when I was gone, but I’ll tell you this: Did Kylo hurt you, even in the slightest?” she asks as she puts her hands on Rey’s shoulder. Rey still is shaking from the experience “H-he entered my mind, he… tried to find Luke” she says, almost in a whisper. Aliana was shocked, she knew Luke was powerful, but she didn’t see him as a threat to anyone, even the First Order.

Aliana hugs Rey gently, “It’s okay love, as long as I’m here, nothing bad will happen to you, I swear on my life” she says as she kisses her forehead. Rey wipes away her tears “Thanks hun, Is it alright if I stay here for a while? I just wanna sleep, hopefully I can forget that whole fucking ordeal…” Rey says.

Aliana kisses Rey’s forehead “Sure thing, I’ll be in the living room if you need anything, if not 2V should be close by” she says as she gets up, Porg-Racing jumping onto the bed next to Rey, nuzzling her thigh. 

Rey smiles at the creature as she drifts into slumber. Hoping to never see Kylo Ren again…

Chapter 26: A Jedi’s Crusade

Varax leaves the medical tent, still sore from his injuries aboard the Supremacy. “Thanks guys! I’ll see if I can pay you all back someday!” he says as he waves farewell to the medics inside. He walks around the new compound, which Ackbar Named Leia’s Rest, after the fallen founder of the Resistance. 

Poe and Finn meet up with him, walking alongside the fallen Jedi. “So what's the plan? Do we bomb the bastards? assassinate Snoke and the Knights? Give us something man!!!” Poe exclaims as he and Finn follow Varax to his new personal shuttle The Obsidian Blade, Varax stops as he opens the shuttle. “I need to gather an army, one that can compete with the First Order, but I may not come back…” he says as he enters the ship. 

Poe and Finn look at each other as Finn stops him “We’ll go with” he says as Varax brushes his arm. “No, this is my task, not yours… besides, we need all the troops we can get, I’ll be fine” he says as he gets into The Obsidian Blade and takes off.

“Alright Snoke, you and your Dark Jedi wanna war, I’ll give you a damn war” he says to himself as he jumps the ship to hyperspeed to the homeworld of the most savage beasts in the galaxy… the Yusong Vong.

Varax lands the ship outside the massive walled village of the creatures as the guards block the gate “HALT, STATE YOUR BUSINESS OR DIE JEDI SCUM!!!” the soldier barks as Varax looks up. “I seek a quarry with your Chief, the galaxy needs an army” Varax says as he reveals his blade to the guard, who stares for a moment before the gate opens.

Varax was impressed by the Yuson Vong’s recovery after their fight with the Old Republic, Varax eventually reached the palace, home to the Chief of The Yusong Vong. “Oh mighty chieftain, I seek your aid in the fight against a new empire, one that threatens all alien and human life in the galaxy” he says, respectfully bowing before the warrior chief in honor.

The Chief laughs as Varax bows “You come to our home, demand our aid, and expect us to follow you? Who do you think you are?” he says 

Varax smiles as he ignites his lightsaber and unveils his hood, “I’m a peacekeeper your highness” he says with an smirk.

Chapter 27: The Warrior Tribe Of Exegol

“You are a Jedi? I thought your kind we’re extinct” the Chieftain says as he stands up from his throne. Varax gives the warrior a chuckle “The feeling’s mutual friend” he says, still holding the blade as the chief steps closer. “What are you called, Jedi?” he asks as Varax straightens his poster “Varax Koslov. Jedi Master and bounty hunter” he says, outstretching his hand for a handshake, which insights a laugh from the shake “You’re a funny little man, but we do things differently here on Exegol…” the Chief says as he signals his guards to stand down.

“My name is Lord Ku’n, I am the leader of these people, and we choose our allies not by their words…” he says as a red serpent coils around his leg and into his hand, transforming into a staff as he slams it to the ground, “But by their strength, fight me in mortal combat. If you win, you’ll have our allegiance, if you lose… you’ll become a slave” he says with a deep and menacing laugh.

Varax gives the warrior a look before chuckling to himself, “Deal” he says as the two warriors exit the throne room and prepare for a fight.

Varax wasn’t against the Yusong Vong, he understood their culture to a sense, a race of aliens who believed machines were the enemy of life and should be destroyed. And although they were essentially savage barbarians, Varax was low on both time and options. He grabbed a large broadsword with a serrated blade as he entered the coliseum. It wasn’t as big as the one at Cato Neimoidia, but for a desert world it was impressive.

Varax saw his opponent, sure he was big, but Varax was stronger.

A horn suddenly blew off as the Chief charged Varax, unleashing a flurry of attacks as Varax tried to block the blows. He countered the blows fairly well, staggering the Ku’n once or twice before pulling a fast one and disarming the warrior of his axe and tripping him, the warrior’s body echoing the arena as Varax held the blade to his throat. “Your choice K’un, surrender or die, I’m good either way” he says as the warrior gives him a snarl.

K’un looks at the Jedi, “As much as I’d like to die honorably…” he says as he gets up “I’d rather die fighting a common enemy than an ally” he adds, outstretching his hand. Varax laughs “Welcome to the Resistance Lord K’un, I’ll contact my allies and get some ships here as soon as possible” he says as he tosses the blade, K’un laughing as the two leave the arena.

Chapter 28: The Birth Of The New Eternal Alliance

Rey gets up and stretches, exiting her and Aliana’s room as she sees her girlfriend reading an old holodoc on the couch with a plate of sandwiches next to her. “Whatcha reading Alie?” she asks as Aliana looks over her shoulder and smiles. “Just some old history, the Eternal Alliance to be specific” she says as she moves over to let Rey sit, “Eternal Alliance?” she asks as she sits down “Never heard of it”. Aliana laughs a little, “Most haven’t, it was formed over a millenia ago by my ancestors to fight against Emperor Arcann and Empress Vaylin” she explains, showing Rey the insignia of the old order.

“That looks like a mix between the Imperial mark and the mark of the Jedi order” Rey says as she points to the symbol. Aliana sighs “Yeah, before Sidious and his Empire that insignia was a mark for the original Sith Empire which was formed thousands of years ago” Aliana explains. Rey smiles as she pecks her girlfriends cheek “Well if you wanna stay in here, I’m gonna walk around Leia’s Rest and see how everyone’s holding up” she says as she gets up to leave. “Okay love, if you see anything weird-” she says before Rey cuts her off “I won’t leave the compound I promise” she says with a gentle smile.

Aliana gives her a look of concern before brushing it off, “Just be careful, I don’t want you getting hurt is all” she says as she gets up “And besides, Talon said her and CD-9 were gonna swing by with the Ryloth Pirate Order, figured we should stick around to say hi and all” she says as she kisses Rey’s cheek. “Actually.. I should get out of here too, I need to keep up my ‘Sithly glow’ after all” she says with a smirk as Rey blushes up “OH MY GOD I TOLD YOU THAT IN CONFIDENCE!!!” she said as her face turned bright red. Aliana laughs a little “Besides, it’ll be like a date, kind of” she says with a smile.

“Well I guess I can’t say no now can I” Rey says flirtingly with a smirk as the two walk out and see several cruisers missing. “That’s odd, where are the Mon Cala cruisers?” she asks. Aliana gives her a shrug as they walk to the control room, General Ackbar and Rose both talking to Varax over a holographic transmission. “ How can we trust these ‘Yusong Von’ Master Varax, last time they got involved in galactic affairs-” he says before Varax cuts him off. “General Ackbar, we need allies who are willing to fight the First Order, Lord K’un and his people are willing to set aside past differences and help us” Varax explains, a large alien warrior walking next to him.

“And besides, we need all the help we can get” he says as he ends the transmission.
