Yoga is a practice for all. This is proven every day by yoga professionals serving students of varied backgrounds, lifestyles, and lived experiences around the globe. Teaching for Equity is specifically designed to support teachers sharing yoga with those encountering barriers or exclusions to the practice. Has Yoga week comes to an end today as 26th June 2022 has been one the day to remember in my life. It was of the previledge to be one of the teachers alongside @alimugisha8 and @mukisajacksonscott to teach yoga to over 600 people as the chief guest was Indian High Commission and I need to appreciate my fellow yoga teachers who trusted us to go to Jinja as share with these lovely people. What made my day is that after the session people came to me even the children to appreciate the practice and more them asking where can they keep practicing from while they are in Jinja. Live in the moment. One of the key to happiness is to live your life in the moment. You have no control over your pasts and you can’t predict what the future holds. During my class with the students of St Janan Luwum Bombo campus branch and I told them that they have to live in the moment so that they can be able to move forward with the world. So now am still calling for all lovely people around the world to come out and support me through reaching out to more communities now if we don't join hands together and support each other then I won't be able to reach out to more communities in Uganda 🇺🇬. Yoga is growing and more importantly that schools are picking up interest slowly and that makes me so happy.
