its amazing what treating children like the small people they are can do for a kid. kids want attention, they can get it either negatively or positively. negative attention, if it is all they get, creates someone who does not know what to do in face of positive attention, nor how to gain it. so they do things to get attention, but negative attention(ie, getting yelled at, punished physically, etc)

but they aren't well rounded when they grow up. did you know babies die when not held? when not loved? we are social creatures, we desire attachment, connection, positive thoughts and emotions. but we are shaped by those around us. listening to children, our future, is so important. they want love, sometimes as simple as lighthearted astonishment, a nice smile, an attentive listener. someone who takes them seriously. they have big emotions, for they are so young, they may be feeling them for the first time, or do not understand their actions. but you can teach them, they'll understand.

why does the rule of not senselessly hurting people make sense? it is cruel, it hurts people. do they deserve to be hurt? why? they are only human, what gives one the right to decide who deserves to be hurt or not? we've gotten this far by helping each other.

children ask why why why because they do not know, they want want want because they do not understand sharing. but they can. we can tell them, explain in ways they understand. violence teaches fear, it does not teach respect. respect is garnered through deeds that others claim fair, reasonable. or hard ones, that they could not bear. you teach a child the feeling of pain when they cry, they will not cry. you teach a child the feeling of fear when they speak their truth, they will not speak. you punish a child for wanting to learn, they will not want to learn. children can understand cause and affect, they really do. they can empathize with unfairness, they can accept reasoning for actions taken or not. the reasons can just either be "crying and screaming makes me hurt," or "crying and screaming is unproductive, it does not get what i want, but there are other ways, like waiting."

"why? its yummy" "the sugar can be bad for your teeth, so if you want candy you need to brush your teeth really well, and eat some vegetables, to balance it all out." "yes" "mmm two candies for two actions" "alright, deal." this teaches a child how to be healthy, what is and isnt good for your body, and gives an understandable explanation of why not.

everything we know we've been taught. we know what anger is because we have felt it and had the feeling identified by another, or have been shown anger and connected the dots. we know what water is, because someone or something explained what liquid is. we know how to empathize, because we were taught how our actions affect others, and how this affects us. not everything we've been taught is necessarily by words, but by actions, connections of two different things, understanding of situations.

Time was up, and his Senior died.

His Senior gave up everything to create and protect a life, so he thought that this was a very fitting flower to commemorate her with.

But he still didn’t understand love. What he did gradually come to understand however, was the Aesthetics of this Civilization.

He played the role of Caretaker with a sort of “Problem-solving” mindset, but that gradually gained him the girl’s trust.

He accompanied her as she walked out of the pain that came from losing her mother. Once, she saw his paintings that had been put up for Exhibition. She really liked them, so she started learning how to paint.

He was a little surprised, but he didn’t say anything, only sending her to Ateliers to learn. Letting the normal Teachers of this world teach her.

Sometimes, he’d stand behind her and watch her draw.

She wasn’t a fast learner by any means, her skills were still unpolished. But in his eyes...her paintings were already far better than his own.

Because...there were real emotions behind her works. She incorporates her own emotions, her happiness, anger, sorrow and joy along with her own perception of the world into her paintings.

The emotions were rich and overwhelming, striking resonance with the hearts of people.

Thus, the “Omnipotent” Silver Knight became the Savior in the eyes of the people.

He carefully worked out his plan. Despite meeting a few obstacles along the way, in his opinion, he’ll definitely complete all his Tasks in Yemsaiel one day.

One day, he saw something shocking while deducing things in Yemsaiel.

He saw her in one of the “Possible Futures”.

He saw her arrive at “St. Shelter Academy”.

The shimmering light of the Magic Circle leading her into another world. 

And during her journey in another world, she experienced conflict, separation and faced many choices.

Most of the choices she made were ones that directly opposed his own.

Reaching this point of deduction, he rested his forehead against the palm of his hand, quietly closing his eyes.

He had kept telling himself that she was just his Senior’s daughter, and that he didn’t plan on getting to close with her despite how he was caring for her.

But now, he had seen her in his deductions and found out that she had a part to play in his Mission as well… This shocked him, for he loved to be in-charge and in control of situations.

So, he quietly returned to her home.

He looked through all her manuscripts and comics. He had lost all smile on his face when he returned to the Living Room.

He opened a secret compartment in the cabinet, taking out a Lapis Lazuli necklace.

Emerald: It’s exactly the same. There’s no way she could have seen this necklace, but yet, this is the same accessory she drew for the Silver Knight in her comics.

It was at this moment that he knew; she had Special Abilities. She could see information pertaining to Yemsaiel within her dreams, thus, drawing them out into her own comics.

She could even pry into some important details with her Abilities. For example, this Lapis Lazuli necklace of her mother’s; one of the strongest Magical Artifacts her mother had owned.

Lapis Lazuli can store unlimited energy within itself, as well as strong emotions and powerful obsessions. In accordance with the deal they had struck, this Artifact was now his.

She was very talented. She might really hinder his Mission in the future if her Abilities are allowed to mature.

He did waver, at a certain point. 

When he found out that her aspiration was to enter St. Shelter's upon going to her school.

He tried to make her give up, he even recommended other Universities to her. But, all his efforts were met with strong opposition.

From that point on, he had a feeling—— That Fate was like a torrent; one that would eventually push them both to a destined pass.

His heart had wavered a little upon coming to this realization.

From a rational and logical point of view, he understood. According to her destined development as fate decreed, she'd eventually grow into a strong enemy; one that'll hinder his Mission.

In one of his more secret moments, he had even wanted to isolate her from the outside world… To disregard the promise, he had made to her mother, and keep her by his side, forever. She'd become his follower, someone who only cared for him and his existence alone.

That idea seemed absolutely feasible. His Senior had already died and the girl trusted him… There was no one to stop him. Moreover, this girl was a talented one. Properly cultivated, he might be able to use her… and she'll become his strongest support. 

But he quickly killed that selfish thought of his.

He has always been a trustworthy person. Hence, he will abide to his agreement with his Senior.

The God Who Chooses

So it’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, and that’s okay.

I had a wonderful conversation with Jesse tonight.  I just need to stop and say how absolutely profound it is to me that we’re still friends, in many ways closer than ever.  Our whole friend group has remained in constant contact.  This community of people, though spread across the country, has been an incredible blessing to me over the past 12 years.  We’ve been through some really difficult times, but then we’ve also had moments like this conversation.  Great segue, right?

I had asked him to chat because I was asked to come onto a podcast and discuss the problem of evil with another friend of mine.  Such a vast theological conundrum deserves practice.  So Jesse and I chatted about it, discussing our understanding of the difference between evil and wickedness, the character of God, and examples in Jesus, Job, and God’s dealings with humans in the Old Testament.  We discussed what we knew from Scripture, and we kept coming back to the fact that when it comes down that question -- “How could an all-powerful, all-loving God allow such evil and wickedness in the world?” -- the earnest pursuit of an answer was nearly pointless.  

What was important, however, was the character of God. When we ask that question, we are doing two things: judging God by our standards and assuming we know him well enough to do so.  The only real biblical discussion of this is the story of Job.  

First of all, there’s this back story where God and Satan make a bet on Job’s faithfulness.  Then, when one terrible thing after another happens to Job (all of this attributed to Satan, of course -- allowed by God), he cries out to the Lord, touting his own faithfulness to God and asking why this all happened.  Job’s “friends” speculate, eventually urging him to curse God, and yet Job still defends God so that he would continue to be blameless before him.  Then God actually shows up.  

At this point in the story, God does two things: 1) He praises Job for choosing to be faithful and 2) He asks Job who he is in the face of His own power.  Job then basically says, “You’re right, I’m sorry.”  

While the ending to the story speaks truth that is important for us to remember when it comes to judging God by own standards, what really stops me is the fact that God actually decided to show up and answer him in person.  When God is displaying his power before Job, listing all of the things he’s done and who he is, the point of all of that is that his presence is vast and infinite.  He’s not just making himself known by speaking words; he’s making himself known by being there at all.  God heard him, and he came.  And so the answer to Job’s “Why did this happen?” wasn’t “Because this,” it was God’s presence itself.  And in the presence of God, with all of who He is on display, Job falls down and relents.

Pondering this story made me think of CS Lewis’ Till We Have Faces.  Orual, considered ugly by the world, is given an opportunity to air her grievances against the gods.  I’ll let Lewis’ writing speak for itself:

“The complaint was the answer. To have heard myself making it was to be answered. Lightly men talk of saying what they mean. Often when he was teaching me to write in Greek the Fox would say, 'Child, to say the very thing you really mean, the whole of it, nothing more or less or other than what you really mean; that's the whole art and joy of words.' A glib saying. When the time comes to you at which you will be forced at last to utter the speech which has lain at the center of your soul for years which you have, all that time, idiot-like, been saying over and over, you'll not talk about the joy of words. I saw well why the gods do not speak to us openly, nor let us answer. Till that word can be dug out of us, why should they hear the babble that we think we mean? How can they meet us face to face till we have faces?”...

...“I ended my first book with the words 'no answer.' I know now, Lord, why you utter no answer. You are yourself the answer. Before your face questions die away. What other answer would suffice? Only words, words; to be led out to battle against other words.”

Now, as beautiful a thought as this is, it might make no difference to someone who can’t accept the logical conclusions.  Faith is not an easy thing.  But it’s okay.  It’s up to each of us to choose.  It’s our own story to tell.  The fact is that God will be a part of every human’s story, whether they walk away from Him or not, because he has not forgotten or abandoned us.

That’s a very long answer to this question, but it’s the answer at the heart of my own story.  It was God’s presence in my hour of anger and sorrow that opened my eyes to who He is, and in so doing, I saw myself as He saw me.  I saw his relentlessness in his love for me, his desire to have deep communion with me, to be one with me.  It was enough.  My questions faded away into wonder at the mystery and vastness of who He is.  

Back to the conversation with Jesse.  At this point we went into speculation about God’s character.  After considering the creation narrative and the temptation of Jesus, Jesse asked as a hypothetical, “What if God was actually capable of wickedness?”

It’s a long honored orthodox tradition to say that God is unchangeable, eternally loving, and eternally good.  It’s his state of being.  We were raised to believe that he was incapable of anything but this.  So Jesse’s hypothetical could cause some to fear the answer.  Thankfully, neither of us were afraid to entertain it.  

If God were capable of wickedness -- meaning he had the capacity to choose to do wicked things -- it would mean that for eternity, according to Scripture, he has chosen the good every single time.  It would also certainly mean that he could, at any moment, choose to use his power for wickedness.  He has certainly used it for evil, which in this case means chaos and destruction.  After all, much to the chagrin of many a conservative theologian, death has always been part of creation, even before the fall.  

Adam and Eve were given the fruit of the tree of life to keep them alive; this means that death would have been on the table for them.  The natural cycle, as evidence not only on Earth itself, but in the whole universe, is birth, life, death, and rebirth.  The only thing the Fall did was 1) prove that Adam and Eve, like God, could make a choice, and chose the wrong, making them smaller and weaker than God, and 2) cursed the earth so that it would be less fruitful.  

But the comforting thing here is that Jesus himself, the perfect image of God, was tempted, and chose the good every single time.  And God has promised that He would always make the same choices.  He has proved himself to be trustworthy.

Scripture says that God is love.  Love is not a state of being.  It is an action.  It requires choice.  To say that God is incapable of wickedness actually takes away from who He is.  He has always chosen the good, the path of love.  Why?  When you factor in the doctrine of the Trinity -- that God is three Persons in eternal communion -- and the arc of the Scriptural meta-narrative -- that over the course of human history, God has steadily moved closer and closer to human beings, being before us as our King, to being with us as our brother, to being in us as the Spirit -- I would speculate that his motivations are pretty clear.  He did it all for the sake of the community.  Any act of wickedness would destroy it.  But He would do anything to keep communion, both within the Trinity and with us.

Jesse brought up the moments in the Old Testament where God changes his mind, or where he had the potential to commit an act of wickedness.  He brought up the story in Exodus when God was going to kill Moses because he didn’t circumcise his sons.  Zipporah, his wife, quickly does the deed and throws the foreskins at his feet.  Only then does God relent.  

I had to ask myself, why was this ritual so important?  The symbolism?  Surely not.  No symbolic act in and of itself would be the cause of such anger.  But then why?  What does the act mean?  The rite of circumcision, as would be detailed later in the law, was God’s way of setting his people apart from other nations.  He was already building his community, and he would do anything, even killing Moses, his chosen mouthpiece to Pharaoh, to mark his people as his own.  It was never about just Moses’ disobedience.  It was about what he was ultimately fighting for: to bring us to himself.

In my mind, whether or not this idea that God is capable of wickedness is actually true, albeit completely unorthodox, it makes the story of God’s work in the universe palpably personal, revealing not only just how relentless God is to bring us into communion with Him, but also just how much like Him we actually are.  If Jesus, who has been called the Second Adam, was the “image of the invisible God,” then all of him, both his spirit and his flesh, represented him.  That includes his ability to choose.  The fact that even in the Garden, when he was terribly afraid and begged God to not let him die such a horrible death or experience the weight and pain of the world’s sin, he still chose to do it, speaks to his immense capacity and resolve.  Love and fellowship matter most to God.  If He is capable of wickedness, and yet has consistently proven that He will choose the path of love every single time, then I trust that He will continue to be who He is in the future, keeping his promises.  If this is true, then He is unchanging, but because of his actions, not because of his being.  

This paints such a powerful picture to me.  What if He has accumulated all that He is from continually choosing Love?  What if, with every decision we make that is righteous and true and good, we gain a little more wisdom and insight into ourselves, the nature of creation, and even into God himself?  It gives me the hope and desire that when people look at me, they might see a bit of Him: relentless in choosing love, no matter the cost.  

As Lewis wrote in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, 

“Aslan is a lion- the Lion, the great Lion." "Ooh" said Susan. "I'd thought he was a man. Is he-quite safe? I shall feel rather nervous about meeting a lion"... "Safe?" said Mr Beaver ..."Who said anything about safe? 'Course he isn't safe. But he's good. He's the King, I tell you.”

He says, “I AM WHO I AM.”  And he is.  And that’s enough.

That’s how I see it,..  What more can you do?  What more can I do?  All life is full of illusion,...  and imagination is full of illusion,...  And so you must learn to manage the imagination, the senses, the impressions, visions, energy,...  It’s a part of learning to have these things, and accept them as part of your life,...  A part of it, not the whole life, not the same as physical, grounded real material life,...  And not necessarily signifying anything real in real life either,...  But it might,... no guarantee of that,...  So you have to let go, and if others have to learn this on their own, then, well,...  that’s their lesson to learn...  Because if I don’t make any promises all along, and make that clear, then it’s really them, who makes the promises, works themselves up, gets themselves attached, feels dropped and shattered, wants to cling, assume or control me,...  And then,...  all there is that is left for me to do is think, I am glad it did not happen in real life, if that is how they would have acted,...  But, nothing is happening clearly, and I can only think spirit is teaching me,...  

I feel pain and sorrow for peoples’ vulnerabilities and their inabilities to absorb and cooperate with clear direct expressions of others’ realities,...  This seems common among those who are soulmates and such, that they will not let go,...  But all I can say is that it’s providing me with a light, playful, casual, calm, detached method of learning about these things,...  How could I ever know well enough that I could trust and rely on a person and a relationship in real life with them, over the long term, that it’d be good enough for me?  Because if something isn’t what I really want and need deeply compatible over time, then I am better off without it unless I’m just so very needy and that is the only way I can have my needs met and the other person is also peaceful with that arrangement,...  As can be the case when raising kids, and illnesses that need someone to care for you, for two examples,...  When the pros outweigh the cons maybe, in a less than wonderful, less than deeply purposeful, meaningful relationship,...  

But how can I know this would be likely and most likely, with someone,...  No guarantees, and we can drift apart, break apart, however and whenever needed, but how can I even get to that point of feeling that I know well enough, what would it take, and what would show me this?  And as far fetched as these relationships in spirit, in the astral, as distant and on the clouds, they may sound,...  But they do let me practice and explore these things,...  

Because the messages, the personality traits, the values, the behaviors, of the ones who are in the astral, that teaches me what I need, or don’t need, like or don’t like, can take or can’t tolerate or don’t want to tolerate, and it’s not worth it, regardless of whether I might could settle for it,...  And what is enough to redeem even less than satisfying otherwise relationships,...  That might appear disappointing, but if I have these things, then it might just bring it all at the level of joy, depth, rewarding and fulfilling, all I want from a relationship...

And then the real people and their behaviors, of the hinted people,...  these teach me too,...  And even if they are very contrasting and not at all the same as the spirit loves,...  Then what of it, I ask...  what difference does it really make, then,...  ?  How can you cling to such things? 

 They are learning tools, obviously not clearly anything, and I just have to know it as does anyone who dabbles in such things, and just as long as promises aren’t made, no heavy intrusive insinuations or mind reading games, then whatever else happens just happens,... 

 And whatever happens there stays there, right?  Or at least, 

...  then it’s ok to express yourself, bottled up feelings and experiences need an outlet, to feel real, not lose your mind in the intensity it can have,...  Right?  That makes sense to me,...  At least in private blogs,...  Especially there, right?  It’s not like your intruding on anyone really there,...  Just an outlet,...  

... So, then I think that you can speak of it but not in an accusatory tone, not directly naming names, etc,...  That is how I approach it all,...  

As far as I know, it’s good enough, as long as it doesn’t obviously seem to implicate anyone,...  

Then suggestive imagery, energy, ideas, whatever,...  It’s just in my head, my energy, ...  No one else can blame me for what is in my head, my energy, that I never said was anyone else, even if it is hinted to be them,...  I didn’t say it was them, didn’t assume,... Is this good enough?  Is that safe enough to do?  What do you think?  Is there an unspoken rule?  But then again, in psychic matters people seem to create their own rules then pretend they are the known unspoken rules,...  

There are no real rules but if there were I would know,...  Because it’s just a no man’s land when it comes to this psychic astral stuff...  In the absence of rules people make up their own,...  then try to impose them on others...  Uncertainty can be too much for many people to deal with,...  Moral uncertainty and all kinds of uncertainty...  But I’m comfortable with uncertainty and won’t be led to compromise the beautiful uncertainty of it all,...  While respecting the impact of implications, dreams, insinuations, psychic tendrils that connect people, yes\

... I know,...  and,... So,

It matters,... all of that,...  and I do acknowledge that but till I see clearly there is cause for concern, I just respect the vague ideas of possibilities of those things,...  No firm rules,...  It depends on the situation, the person, as to where to draw the line,

...  Just, ...  as long as one uses common sense,... I have plenty of logic, intuition, compassionate empathy and common sense to guide me...  Many seem to lack empathy and logic in these matters, but is it not the same in life?  You can’t be someone else’s brain and take responsibility for their irrational obsessive behaviors,...

The Love and Fairness of God, Part 7 of 7 - In all His Dealings with Mankind

No Tears in Heaven:

There will be no tears in Heaven. Isaiah 25:6-8; Revelation 7:13-17; 21:1-6. How can there be no tears in Heaven if loved ones of the saved are eternally burning? No, God will wipe away every tear, and take away the sadness from the hearts of His beloved saints, and there will never arise any more incidents of sin, pain, suffering, death, or even of the tempter Satan! All sin and evil will be destroyed in the lake of fire as John the Revelator reveals. Revelation 21:8; 20:14-15; 20:10. Heaven would not be ‘heaven’ to the saved, if their lost loved ones were eternally burning! If this were the case, sin could rise a second time, because someone would question why God wasn’t being merciful with their lost loved ones and was endlessly punishing them with fire. But it is clear from the Bible that sin will not rise a second time. It is also clear that sinners won’t be burning once God has wiped every tear from every eye! That should be self-evident. Sin and sinners will be no more. And the saved will be healed from all their hurt, and from the loss of their loved ones and friends who didn’t make it to Heaven and were not saved. “The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, and refined, aged wine. And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples, even the veil which is stretched over all nations. He will swallow up death for all time, and the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; for the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 25:6-8 NASB. Now hear this prophecy about Jesus and the future: “Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And He will delight in the fear of the LORD, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a decision by what His ears hear; But with righteousness He will judge the poor, And decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth; And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked. Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins, And faithfulness the belt about His waist. And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little boy will lead them. Also the cow and the bear will graze, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den. They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 11:1-9 NASB. “And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” Revelation 7:13-17 KJV. “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” Revelation 21:1-6 KJV. Do these promises of the future need any comment? God will swallow up death for all time. He will wipe away every tear, there will be no more suffering or death. Sinners will be no more, destroyed forever; beyond all sinning, pain and suffering. It is not possible that sinners can be endlessly punished, because the revelation given to John here is that there will be no more pain, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor death when the first heaven and the first earth pass away! This message that the wicked will not be endlessly punished for their sins is a revelation given to John by Jesus Christ, which came from the Father. We say this because the book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, given to Him by the Father, as it states in Revelation 1:1. While John didn’t write this revelation directly in this passage, it is an inference and the only logical conclusion to the truth that he stated, that God will wipe away every tear FROM EVERY EYE, and there will be no more pain, suffering or death. His descriptions of these things being no more and passed away are all inclusive. There is no possibility that the revelation from God here declaring that there will be no more tears, pain, suffering or death, because the former things are passed away, not applying to the lost sinners who were thrown into the Lake of fire. If you still have any doubts, read Revelation 20:13-15, where God reveals that death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire, which is the second death, and all people whose names were not written in the book of life, meaning that they also died the second death too. And there will be nothing any more to cause any hurt on God’s holy mountain. There will be no more tears, sorrow or sadness, or pain, for lost sinners will be gone and at peace, free from their slavery to sin, no more suffering! And there will be no tempter left to tempt or annoy people into sin to destroy themselves or others. There will be nothing but peace, wonderful peace, joy, love, faith, hope, and happiness for all eternity for the saved! These words are faithful and true, because they were declared by Jesus, the Word of God, which were revealed to Him by the Father. Amen! Revelation 3:14; 1:1.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, let us end with promises of God’s love for us, and banish all thoughts of fear for what is coming next, and focus on how much He loves us! “The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying, ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.’” Jeremiah 31:3 NASB. ‘But I have trusted in Thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation.’ Psalm 13:5 KJV. “Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.” Psalms 25:8-10 KJV. “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because His mercy endureth for ever.” Psalms 118:1 KJV. ‘Praise the LORD, for his mercy endureth forever.’ 2 Chronicles 20:21 KJV. “Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption. And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.” Psalms 130:7-8 KJV. “Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7 KJV. To close, let us read ‘the Shepherd’s Psalm’:

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” Psalm 23:1-6 KJV.

Amen. Did you know that Psalms 23 contains a promise that God’s mercy will follow all of those who want it all the days of their life, and that they will dwell with Him in His house forever in Heaven? Amen! You don’t have to be afraid of God any more, nor for your future, if you will just give your heart to Him all the way, because Heaven is within your reach. The texts and reasoning we have presented here should be enough to cast doubt on this whole unfair charge against God, that He only loves people who love Him and repent, and if they don’t He will punish them forever. So you are now free to worship your God whom you love, and rejoice in His goodness and mercy! For His love and mercy endures forever! Praise His wonderful name!  After you fall in love with God, you will probably want to do your best to help your loved ones and friends make the right choice, so that they can live forever in Heaven with you, and not miss out on all the peace, love, joy and happiness that you will have there too. But you will know longer just be going to Heaven because you are afraid of being lost, but because you love Jesus and His Father and want to be there in Heaven with them! You don’t have to worry about friends or loved ones anymore, who are not walking with God being treated unfairly after their death, because now you should know how merciful, loving, kind and perfectly fair God is in His treatment of all mankind. If someone you know or love doesn’t make the right choice and is lost, you can rest assured that God will treat them fairly, and they will not be punished any more than they deserve. Amen! May God’s everlasting mercy shine upon you and give you peace! We would like to write more articles on the love and fairness of God for all mankind.
