Analysing The whole relationship of Courtney Duncan and Gwen through one intro of World Tour

did he really care about any of them?

we will make reference only to the intros . They pretty much cover the big picture of the situation.

The 3 seasons intros follow a logic timeline about courtney and her feelings for duncan and his response for her feelings.

In season 1 ‘s intro he is happy that dj gets hurt . But she is completely unimpressed by that. she is like no way !!! he is a bad boy he is BAD and hurting people is wrong In season 2 ‘s intro when he is hurting harold in that case , he tries to hide what he has done for a second because he knows he might get in trouble with courtney. HE EXPECTS THAT cuz in season 1 ‘s intro she was completely opposed to that. While in season 1 she wasn’t impressed by her bad boy attitude at all in the intro , this time Courtney still knows something is wrong yet she kisses him cuz she wants him back and she accepts his bad side . After he understood that she accepted that he is hurting people he smiles back cuz she fell for his bad boy tricks. In season 3 ‘s intro he doesn’t hide his true bad self from her anymore and he easily shows her how he hurts Harold while she supports that.

She is completely in De Nile . Literally .

Duncan ‘s intentions and the whole love triangle are all clear from the start. He is a narcissist playboy and he never cared about Gwen or Courtney more than his bad boy stuff. Or like Owen said and Duncan actually bragged in front of Alejandro” a total drama babe olympics winner. “He played both of them. He is hurting both of them cuz he can and he wants. It’s quite clear from the intro what’s all about. He is still with Courtney , happy, and doesn’t mind being with her as crazy as she is in spite of people thinking he wants to break up with her for that reason. He actually enjoys her company cuz they are both crazy. The only difference is duncan likes when he hurts people but courtney just likes watching him doing that . she is “blinded by love “. in season 1 and 2 intros follows a gradual change of her feelings for him. First she opposed it , then she somehow opposed him hurting people but this time she accepts it. While he directly hurts Harold she doesn’t do that but just supports him . she doesn’t want to hurt people but just wants to be with him .She is completely blinded by the truth that he is a bad person thinking that at least he would treat her right.

one minute ago he enjoys harold getting hurt then one minute later he saw gwen’s boat crushed but still enjoys that while gwen is clearly upset and hurt and courtney is upset of his flirting . He enjoys hurting people around him.

Gwen’s boat gets crushed snd she is surrounded by crocodiles. The first thing he does after seeing her boat crushed is not assure her safety at least as a friend but FLIRT with her right in front of his girlfriend with no regard to any of them how they both feel. If he really was scared of Courtney he wouldn’t flirt with Gwen in front of her with such ease . Gwen is visibly in so much pain after the boat crush . He hurts her and she hopelessly looks at him confused by all that flirting he is doing in front of his girlfriend and how can he do that when her boat crushed and if his feelings for her are actually true or not. She is waiting for him to clarify the situation and how he really feels about her.Waiting and waiting she just drowns cuz he never told her the truth.

The same goes for Courtney when she keeps her hands crossed to her chest. She is waiting for him to clarify the situation just like Gwen was waiting too. The only difference is she didn’t drown and he can not run from that situation so he has to confront her.

And it was not the only time he hurt gwen in world tour. The list goes on and on.

Then he comes back to Courtney as if nothing happened EXPECTING HER TO FORGIVE HIM as he is trying to make excuses . He smiles awkwardly letting her know he was just playing. Duncan knows what he is doing.

Duncan is NOT afraid of Courtney ‘s craziness .That’s why he flirts with Gwen so easily in front of her because he knows she loves him and forgive any bad thing he’s doing. Cuz being bad ‘is cool”.

Courtney too knows what he is doing and she gets fed up with his bad boy attitude the moment she saw he is actually including cheating in his list . He flirts with both of them cuz he can and he wants and she is not impressed by that .The guy’s like nah it’s nothing , can’t help it ,trying to make excuses and that’s what makes me cool. Her reaction is not hit him or go crazy but look at him displeased. Duncan knows how she feels about him and she would take him back anyway cuz he actually saw how she easily accepts hurting Harold now. He doesn’t clarify the situation to her or Gwen and just keeps playing with them both switching back and forth between them.

In the end it looks like she got fed up with his bad boy stuff and would never forgive him again.
