Okay, but like, what is with The Sun God's interest in Alberu? I suppose I can understand why the other God's have their eyes on Cale, and I'm in no way looking down on Alberu (he ìs my favorite character). But why is the Sun God too into him? I didn't mean in a romantic way. Like, she was the one who cursed the Dark elves, and the Crossman family (lol, which reminds me of the cursed blood title Cale has in the recent chapters, and I was like, doesn't that fit Alberu too? The product/union of two cursed bloods?) And then she removed the curse on the dark elves (I think it happened?), helped Alberu go see Cale and gave him a grade 1 moster form, gave Alberu Taerang (the most powerful weapon), said (on that stone under the Crossman library) that Alberu would be the sun, gave the weapon a new feature in which he can make a mini sun (filled with harmless divine power), gave him the title The Sun God's beloved in the game, gave him a heroes quest, wants to make him a hero, asks her corporation (i forgot what it's name is) to treat Alberu with respect....what's with her? Even Alberu is getting suspicious, and he made Cale their leader as to keep a bit distance(?). Lol, I'm intrigued. I read somewhere that the Sun God is neutral leaning. So what is your plan, mam? Who exactly are you?

One of my favourite brain rotting tcf ideas is Cale having some tremor disorder. Basically, he has hands that randomly tremble without any reason.
It may be genetic to him, or he developed it as Cale because of not eating his meals properly and inevitably developing some vitamin deficiency.
Now comes the best part.
Imagine Cale, perhaps in some really gruesome battle, with blood of enemies and allies mixed around him. Imagine his family seeing Cale's stoic face, wondering how a person so young can be so brave, and then they see his hands shaking under his raven coat, even as they're curled tightly into a fist.
Imagine Cale looking at Jour's portrait, admiring her beauty and her alike face with his own. But then his family sees him, his gaze fixated on his mother's image and his hands trembling slightly.
Imagine him, standing at the forefront of some battle with his shields raised, with his hands trembling uncontrollably, even though he is not straining himself. The people protected under him can only tear up at his selflessness.
Imagine Cale after attacking the enemies with a wave of firebolts, but his hands again started shaking badly, even if he has them covered under his sleeves. His family misunderstands that as Cale hiding his pain.
Imagine Cale, resting on a couch after some battle, and when Raon, On and Hong excitedly climb upon his lap, he only smiles slightly and pats them with his trembling hands. The kids then worriedly inform Ron of this and Cale recieves sweet lemon tea for a whole week.
Imagine Cale talking about territory matters with Alberu, and Alberu is once again amazed by his dongsaeng's witty and almost experienced approaches to problems like war. But then he sees Cale's hands shaking while holding the tea cup, and he realises how absolutely not normal it is to not be nervous in such a situation. (Alberu later pledges to himself to give Cale the slacker life he always wished for.)
Just imagine Cale in any situation with trembling hands and it literally creates the most hilarious misunderstandings with some really wonderful angst.

This part in 32 chp always felt kind of odd to me and this is the reason why:
The coward wolf boy, Lock. Until Choi Han found him, Lock had been hiding as the chief had told him. The Lock at that point is very much a coward, a weakling, and kind of slow. In simple terms, Lock easily took the position of the character that readers found to be extremely frustrating.
This has bothered me since I first read the novel, and to this day, even after several rereads, it still haunts me.
Cale simply isn't the type of a person to actually call a kid, no matter how they behave, to be "frustrating".
(When the text said "readers" it's damn well obvious of Cale being the one to think so.)
Pondering for some time I can roughly guess why the wording was so unexpected for his character.
At the time of the assassination/kindaping in the village, Lock was only thirteen years old. He also hasn't had his first berserk transformation yet. Therefore it is not surprising that Lock's uncle hid him and told not to go out, saying that everything was fine and he should continue to hide.
Now let's look at the situation realistically.
Lock (in tcf) jumps out of his hiding to protect his younger siblings. The adrenaline and inner Blue Wolf Tribe's instincts to protect turned on his berserk transportation one year beforehand, however if not Rosalyn and Choi Han, who came earlier than in the actual novel, i don't think it would help much.
Lock would possibly be able to kill a few people or at least seriously injure them, but CMON. They killed an ENTIRE village full of berserk Blue Wolf's and with almost-Wolf King (Lock's uncle). Do you really believe that a thirteen years old boy jumping into his first berserk transformation would be able to fight properly against strong organization that had holy water or some sort of holy artefact on their hands?
Again, if not for Choi Han's and Rosalyn's arrival... it would have definitely ended pretty bad.
In TBOAH Lock for some reason didn't jump out. Different circumstances, wrong wroted part in the novel, idk, but the fact is stated: Lock stayed hidden. He also most likely survived only because of Choi Han's help. Just with much worse scenario where he was left alone from the whole village.
And it wasn't Lock's fault yet again. He was a child. No matter if a Beastman one or not, the boy was just an innocent, naive and weak child.
So why would Cale, Kim Rok Soo at the time, find him frustrating? Extremely so even!
The answer is much easier if you think about it.
Because it wasn't Kim Rok Soo blaming a kid for being weak and cowardly in a fearful situation, it was a man who saw his own past that he hated so much.
A coward, a weakling and kind of slow.
For Rok Soo, who blamed himself for half of his life for the deaths of team one members, Lock was like a salt for still open, but ignored wounds.
KRS greatly disliked and maybe even envied Lock for a bit. The boy got a new family, he got friends and some sort of guidance from them even after facing so much despair.
While he was all alone, trying to understand what to do on his own.
It sure is irritating for Rok Soo.
Yet Team Leader Kim Rok Soo was probably unable to fully hate Lock for his weakness, because while the latter was still a kid, the same forgiveness can't be used on him. At least in his own head.
So with conflicting feelings Cale settled on "Extremely frustrating" description.

Coming on to the app just to remind people that one time when Cale ordered Choi Han to take off his clothes while Choi Han was stunned into silence.
“Choi Han.” “Yes sir. I will escort you if you plan on go-.” “Take it off.” Silence filled the room. Cale looked toward Choi Han, who was standing there with a blank expression, and started to frown. “What are you doing?” “Excuse me?” “Let’s change clothes.” “Ah.” Cale took off his robe and took off his formal jacket underneath as Choi Han let out that stupid sound.

ok so. "choi" is choi han's surname, yes? when we learn about his family, they are the choi family, yes?
but the boah universe works on firstname lastname rules, not lastname firstname. i presume. (is it lastname firstname in korean...?)
but all the characters refer to choi han as choi han in full always.
Do they assume his first name is Choi and his last name is Han because of reversed naming order?
Do they think "Choi Han" is just One Name because none of them speak korean? Do they believe he just doesn't have a surname at all?
I mean option 2 seems pretty likely when you consider his backstory of "villagers found him living like an animal in the forest" like you wouldn't necessarily assume a guy like that has a surname when the villagers had to get him citizenship papers
but then again. hm.

Am I terrible for having this outrageous image of Cale as Rapunzel and Choi Han as Maximus? Because you can't convince me Cale didn't soften Choi Han the way Rapunzel did😭😭

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the Cat Tribe and the Fog Cat Tribe? I can't find anywhere if there is any difference and I'm sure the novel never makes it clear.

Question to TCF novel readers
So I'm reading the Webtoon and I've noticed they call Cale "Lord Cale" rather then Cale-nim, is this something that changes later on? (I'm on Chpt 58) or is this just a novel thing?
If so, what honorifics do the others use for Cale? I wanna write fics but I also wanna use the honorifics the characters use :)
Thank you in advance <3 <3

I'm holding off on reading Aipotu arc until it's fully translated so I don't know but, does Sheritt know that they're going to that world to find clues on her missing best friend who just so happens to be Choi Han and Jung Soo's ancestor?
Do the ancient powers know? Do God of Protection and Fire of Purification know? Do they keep in touch with him?

Alberu to Raon, On and Hong: Well kids, there are two types of lovers in this world. When you reveal the darkest and most vulnerable secret that makes you feel like all your life's effort was worth nothing, some holds you close to comfort and reassure you while- (stares at Cale) some calls your ancestor a criminal.
Raon, On and Hong: .....
Cale: It was just one freaking time!

mc living in a different world they read, thriving amidst all the danger and chaos because there was something they could cherish here. And despite how selfish it sounds, they didn't want to return to their own world.
Because they were dying very slowly over there.
And they feel alive here.

(Spoiler warning for anyone who hasn't finished reading lcf part 1)
Just another random thought (yes, it's me and my stupid theories again), but do y'all think the Thames household could have fled to a different dimension/world? Is that why fake hilsman had to meet Cale who became a famous hero disguised as fake hilsman to tell him that hunters reappeared??
The reason the household was said to have perished is unknown, but I really can't get rid off the feeling they are actually still alive but hiding their existence for some reason, even if it was just a small number of them. I mean, fake hilsman was alive. There could be more of them alive!! :/
Did the ws being reborn as a Thames have something to do with that? I mean, it was mentioned that ws and sg were just being used by the hunters. And it was also mentioned that different hunter households weren't on good ties. Could they have tried to use the ws (krs’ very original body) to cause problems to them?
Another thing is that, do you think ws was supposed to be the head of the Thames household or something? I mean, that way he could mess with them more, and remember that time when Jour regained the other half of her power, she suddenly asked Cale if he wanted to become the head of their fam. Was it just because Cale now had her complete AP?
The way people always thought kimcale's demeanor was like a lord always had me thinking about this. I'm probably just overthinking but the thought is too exciting to ignore sjdkdhskls
And assuming that my hypothesis is right, do you think Cale would get to meet ws' parents? Would they look like krs’s parents? Are they even alive? How many years ago was the ws born anyways....
If the earth 1 timeline is the same as lcf and krs' 36 years equaled the ws' last body's age, then there is a possibility that they could be alive, albeit really small since it was said that the thames household is no more, and since the ws' curse might've already killed them.
Henitoksu did say that 2 years of lcf= 2 weeks on earth1, but that's after the regression happened. The flow of time in lcf might have changed for the last 2 years, since they're after ogcale regressed.
I want to believe that they (ws' parents), it they knew that their son's nody was being posessed by the ws, at least knew that roksu was living a good childhood with caring parents. He had happy memories with caring parents, lonely souls who found solace in each other.
