Got no replies to my question and couldn’t find ‘em so whatever if I double post :p

anywho meet the current link from tangled chains! They’re all based on the Zelda games I’ve actually played so that’s why some are “missing”, in order;

Having had my teeth in it for a bit I feel comfortable saying that Wilds is the biggest weapon shakeup in monhun since gen ultimate

Yes, yes it was. But the thing that was new about it was the movement tech and speed from wire bugs and palamutes. Apart from a few stand outs (hunting horn in particular) a lot of the new moves on weapons were actually refined versions of the Hunting Arts from gen ultimate

Whereas in Wilds so far, a bunch of the weapons feel like new beasts all together, with much more adaptability deeper combo options. I’m really excited to see how this generation of hunting evolves

I made a star wars OC. Her name is currently Silvio Rea, but she goes by Silvie (not sure about spelling yet, not even sure about the name, I've changed it three times already, star wars names are hard😅😅). During the era in which the bad batch series takes place, she is a junkyard worker in Ord Mantell. As a side business to pay her massive debt to Cid, she acquires, restores and renovates ship parts and sells it for bargain prices under the table...guess who her number one customer is? 🤓

He's here and we still see each other on a regular basis, but I miss him. I've become colder towards him for the benefit of everyone involved. We don't text anymore, and our conversations in person are so shallow, it's like we just met. I feel like I've lost a friend. There's been so many things I want to talk about him with lately, but can't.

TC Zeldas pt 1

(Just some little nicknames and notes for the Zeldas I have so far, including their relationships with their respective Links)

A Link to the Past Zelda

Legend's Zelda is nicknamed Myth. As I mentioned in Legend's profile, Myth is his older half-sister by 4 years making her 26 years old. She's a perfectionist, a bit uptight, and often unsure of herself but also a kind, responsible, and just ruler. Myth ascended the throne around 21 years old and became queen, marrying Cedi of Gamelon and having a daughter nicknamed Luna. Princess Luna would be about 3 years old in the present (making Legend an uncle!!). Myth is fiercely protective of her family and can be quite distrusting of others beyond her kingdom.

Myth and Legend have a weird relationship. Legend grew up outside the castle raised by his uncle while Myth was raised in the palace with the expectation of taking the throne so they already come from different backgrounds yet similar pressures on their shoulders. When they discovered their familial relation, they were surprised and delighted to get to know one another better. It took a little getting used to with the shared telepathic visions but they became decent friends. But they grew apart as Myth became queen and a mother while Legend was returning from Koholint. Or perhaps the estranged siblings never grew close as they thought in the first place and it simply became more evident as time went on. They care about each other, sure, and they wish they were closer but they don’t know how to be closer after all this time.

Myth envisioned this grand idea of how siblings should be including how they should know each other better and spend more time together. And she wants that with Legend but doesn’t know how to initiate that again after years of radio silence between the two siblings. She doesn’t even know if he wants that too or if they prefer their strained relationship as it is. Her and Cedi been sending Legend invitations to palace celebrations and events to start off small but he hasn’t accepted any of them. So for now, she just waits and he’ll make the first move when he’s ready/if he even wants to.

As for Legend, they haven’t told her (or anyone) about what went down in Koholint. He hasn’t even talked to her in-person for non-work related purposes since she got married and he left for Oracle of Seasons. They would often reach out to each other telepathically sometimes during his adventures overseas even though they were both busy with their duties. But once Myth had a daughter to raise on top of everything, their telepathic conversations became less frequent until they stopped completely. Then when Legend came back, he fell into a depression and avoided her, feeling like he couldn’t face yet another person he failed to save (even if things turned out alright in the end for Myth, it still weighs on his conscious). He is a bit disheartened they’ve drifted apart as siblings and tries to rationalize it by assuming Myth is just busy as a queen and a mother now and it’s better if he doesn’t distract her. But really, he just can’t look Myth in the eye without seeing another person he failed, especially since her and Marin look a lot alike too.

Open communication has never been their strong suit. So they both settle for being stilted siblings at best and the queen and her hero at worst. It’s like they would die for each other but couldn’t tell you the other’s favorite color.

BOTW/TOTK Zelda

Ok so I'm actually swapping TOTK Link and Zelda, so Tears will actually be Zelda's nickname from now on because Zelda is filling in for Link (unbeknownst to the rest of the Young Chain). As for Link, I might just call him Wild since that's the commonly accepted fan name for him and Champion is already reserved for the Age of Calamity Link. Might change it later though...

For now, Wild is still the self-sacrificing, bigender (he/she), amnesiac survivalist I envisioned him to be. She’s adjusted better to living a nice life in Hateno but doesn’t hesitate to explore or return to the forests when his heart aches for the call of the wilderness. Wild got some of his memories back and gets one every once in a long while but has since moved on to form new ones. As a side effect, she can still be forgetful at times and relies on the Sheikah Slate to record notes and photos. It even acts as a virtual diary.

But after she completed the dragon tear memories and discovered Dragon Zelda, he was torn with grief and reverence before obsessing over turning Tears into a hylian again. He scoured through old books, Zonai ruins, and even the fallen memories for any way to bring the her princess back. Finally, he stumbled on a forbidden dark ritual that allowed Wild to switch places with Tears. She couldn’t reverse draconification but they could swap their souls and it’d be close enough for Wild. He believes wholeheartedly that Tears deserves to live her life and can do a better job protecting and reconstructing the kingdom than Wild ever could. Her only regret is that she couldn’t propose to Tears like he was planning to, donning the cold silver ring on a chain around his neck instead.

Before TOTK, Wild and Tears were in love and living a domestic life together in Hateno Village. Tears would teach at the local school and work in the old Hateno research lab since Purah moved to what is now Lookout Landing. Wild would slay monsters, do some odd jobs for anyone, and cook delicious meals. Together, they would coordinate reconstruction efforts and aid in the development of New Castletown. And together they would laugh, dance, and hold one another in the night when the nightmares and memories get too much to bear alone. Things were peaceful, Wild was even planning on proposing until the regional phenomena began and malicious forces began stirring in Hyrule Castle.

Tears would wake up in the great sky islands, dazed and confused in the same garb as Wild wore when he performed the ritual. Of course, she didn’t come back quite the same. She retained some dragon-like features that she carefully tries to hide, and she is missing an arm! Later, Tears would discover what her knight had done, what Wild sacrificed for her yet again. She would mourn, not just her lost love, but also this constant cycle of self-sacrifice they find each other in. She would curse Hylia, the goddesses, and whoever she could think of for this cruel twist of fate she can never seem to escape from. But what else can they both do in the face of unsurmountable destiny? Tears wants Wild back but knows that re-performing the ritual would be futile. Instead, she has to finish Wild’s quest and afterward chooses to dedicate herself to her research and science to find a way to bring Wild back permanently without putting herself or her kingdom in jeopardy.

They’re like two star-crossed lovers with bleeding hearts, far too self-sacrificial for their own good. But they’d still do it over and over for the sake of protecting the peace of their kingdom.

Anyway, Tears' redesign is on the way and here's a dragon-y sneak peak:

Titan's Cats AU

(yeah this is very likely gonna rotisserie chicken-rotate in my head only)

So the titan's councilors are cats. They meet a group called the Coven Cats (Heads) sometimes. Many of them get into shenanigans.

That's it. That's the AU.

-Loopy does the most zoomies of the TC

-Sonore and Ripley like to go out of the house....and often wind up missing (but they do come back later in the day, or the next day)

-Berylis loves playing with the other TCs, she's more hyper outside and loves snow

-Ilya loafs a lot (and drags himself on the ground when being taken for a walk)

-Darian steals in and outside of the house; he has stolen items from the "Coven Cats," especially from TC!Darius, Mason, and Vitimir (sometimes TC!Adrian, but he and Darian tend to get into an epic chase when the latter is caught). Also Darian acts like a beaver: he keeps making strange structures around the house.

-Yurei is more active at night but in the day, it often looks out the window (even if it's just the mailman doing their usual work). It is the most submissive of the TCs

-Jasmine tries to stay away from disturbances, and she likes to go out in the rain. She also likes baths, just like Sonore

-Cherry tends to start fights, especially against TC!Terra and Adrian out in the streets (so you might hear an aggressive meowing match from afar)

it’s officially winter in goryeo and the country is covered with inches of snow. despite the freezing temperatures, the country is blessed to survive the freezing temperatures thanks to your generous donation of firewood. you made sure the families and people of goryeo received as many necessities to survive the harsh winter because once upon a time, you were those one of those people who wondered if they would make it through the coldest season.

“achoo! m-mommy” whines ji-eun.

unfortunately, your family and staff have all been getting sick lately. first it was areum, then jaehan and now it’s ji-eun who is coming down with a fever and a bad case of the sniffles as you like to call it. thankfully, you have medicines to help with your children’s condition but you aren’t a fan of watching your children suffer from fevers and colds.

“here, baby. you have to take the medicine”

“but i don’t l-like it”

she’s so stubborn. a trait inherited from both her father and you but you’d rather blame him because you want to. but you’re sure if it were her father trying to spoon feed her the medicine, she’d take it no questions asked because again, she’s just like him. looks just like him too.

and as soon as you speak of the man, in comes jungkook to take a peek at his sick daughter and a stressed you who is struggling to give the 5 year old the nasty, strong medicine.

“jungkook, thank goodness” you say with relief and proceed to shove the spoon and bottle of medicine in his hands.

“here, give ji-eun her medicine. i’m too pregnant for this”

baby number eight? unfortunately, yes and you have jungkook to thank for that. that hazel eyes comment really got to you and let’s just say, you. him. his office. everyday.

“d-daddy” ji-eun coughs and makes grabby hands for her father to pick her up. (see? she’s SPOILED and it’s all jungkook’s fault) and as you predicted, she takes the medicine when her father asks her to yet gives you all the trouble.

“MAMA! PAPA!!” yells ayra who rushes in ji-eun’s room “LOOK!! LOOK!!! can i keep it? please? pretty please?”

“AH!! jeon ayra put that snake down now!!” you panic and practically jump into jungkook’s arms when she shoves it in your face with that adorable smile of hers.

“but mama” pouts ayra “i want it. please? can i please keep it? pretty pleaseeeee”

He loves his family so much, and as he had promised you- it keeps on growing. And he’s the happiest man he has been for the last five months. Ever since he told him that you were pregnant…. He’s radiant.

He’s so glad that he made you jealous that night.. because ever since then his life has been a dream come true. As jungkook hands jieun her medicine, like the good girl, she is as she eagerly gulps down the nasty medicine as her father puts the spoon in her mouth

But then your scream takes him by surprise because ayra is screaming on top of her lungs, and then you suddenly only start screaming, “woah yn be careful you’re gonna fall.” Jungkook scolds you, but he manages to catch you before you could slip.

And then he sees the snake in his daughter’s hand, that’s what was freaking you out? A mere snake? Jungkook rolls his eyes. “Ayra baby you scared mommy.”

Jungkook laughs as he takes the snake from ayra’s hand and you immediately pull away from him, all jumpy with the colour gone from your face. “Oh ayra look at your mommy- no we can’t have this here.” Jungkook looks at the snake.

“snakes are poisonous honey… doesn’t your teacher teach you anything? They are never loyal.” Jungkook scoffs as he takes the snake away.

“your mama is right.” it is so amazing that his children are exactly like him. he remembers having a fascination with wild animals when he was a child, his mother would scold him all the time just like you, scold your kids.

Jungkook gives the snake away to his servant to throw it out, nothing that scares you will stay in this palace. “Oh yn aww come back here.” Jungkook comes back and he’s back to caress your swollen stomach.

His love for you triples whenever you get pregnant because you are 10x times more beautiful. He hopes that you both have twins once more, this time two boys.

So you will have nine children maybe you won’t have the 10th after all.

But it is very cold, so he is a little concerned for your health because you have to deal with seven kids even though the oldest two don’t trouble you as much as the younger ones.

“Don’t trouble your mother. Come yn, you should come with me- I should give you a massage you’ll feel amazing!”
