KENMA KOZUME

you can’t tell me that kozume doesn’t daily grind? he probably would spend all day just catching fishes and foils around his island

he wouldn’t pay too much attention decorating his island though, he will just put everything in one place so he can see that it’s there ??

he usually completes his task but tend to get bored so he’s just free styling whenever he’s playing

actually likes tom nook, even though he’s almost broke from paying his debts

his island can look neat at some point because you would encourage him to put a little bit more design to it.

doesn’t care about the design of his villager’s house but he’ll still talk to them because it’s part of the game after all.

his character always goes for a comfortable look, like sweaters and sweats ‘cause he thinks it’s nice to have a miniature character of him.

you once gave him a custom design sweater and trust me, he never took it off <3

has a little corner of his island to drop off bells for you to receive whenever you drop by his island.

one time he dropped 20k bells and you cried for hours

eventually, kuroo would try to steal the bells and kenma threatened him that he’ll block the shit out of him ( and he did lmao )

he absolutely LOVES it when you update him about the new tiny details you placed on your island, he thinks it adorable <3

because kozume usually likes to play animal crossing at night, both of you would stay up late to do such things

this always leads to midnight walks across either your town or his, nonetheless he finds it pretty relaxing when you play with him while he tries to keep up to your enthusiasm over the game

ATSUMU MIYA

this mf is annoying as hell, he prolly doesn’t know how the game works

spends all his bells to the able sisters to get new fancy clothing and he tried making a design for himself but it didn’t turned out as great :/

so focused at talking to his villagers, it’s like how he’s talking to real life people ??

he’ll show off any kind of rare and expensive stuff that he got and maybe even shove his switch to your face

his island would look kinda messy at first but it gets better once you actually explore more, that’s because he likes to kinda surprise you and see your reaction at first 🙄

he always prepares a red carpet for you to walk on whenever you visit to feel how special you are even in games, however he removes it INSTANTLY if osamu and suna comes to tease him about it.

i can see his island theme having the color palette of yellow, beige and white, maybe a tad bit of maroon as well.

LOOOVES hyping you up !! when he sees you wearing a new hat, clothing or having new decors around your island, he’ll always have the best reactions to appreciate your work !

picnic dates are a thing with him !! he picked a nice spot to place the picnic decors to watch the sunset, it even has trees and flowers surrounding it for you to enjoy. ( i’m sobbing )

exchanging gifts and letters were always a thing ever since atsumu learned how to write postcards. it also happens once a week so prepare yourself for some fun stuff <3

he’ll sometimes write sweet messages but often it’s just bad jokes that still makes you laugh at some point.

AKAASHI KEIJI

let’s hear it from the best animal crossing player of all time !!!

plays animal crossing like a pro, and can manage to pay his debt while designing his island better than you ( JUST SAYING 😳 )

he likes taking his time while playing it, he doesn’t usually use time travel unless he really needs to.

his favorite part about playing it is how the music changes as the time passes, it really relaxes him after a day of work + bonus relaxing points if he plays with you !

his island’s color palette would include different shades of brown, beige, white, gray and maybe a bit of baby blue

his island looks so neat and organize! he’ll definitely have those nicely designed coffee shop with a library next to it ( it makes you want to quit tbh )

lowkey excited whenever he sees a balloon with a present floating in air or whenever he sees a bottle w/ a letter on the beach

he literally just appreciates every single thing and detail in the game

MUSEUM. DATES. ARE. HIS. THING !!!

he often lets you visit his museum to look how far he’s gone by collection his fishes, butterflies and fossils.

and he’s highkey proud of it

always takes couple pictures near the aquarium and the !!! butterfly house !!! while doing cute poses and he’ll eventually make it his lock screen ( it’s too cute for him )

he would make a waterfall area that’s actually nicely built and he also placed it with his pastel colored flowers.

he also prepared a diner set that’s close to the waterfall so it would look so ethereal at night because of how romantic and peaceful it looks :(

he gives so much effort when designing areas and making clothes for you in particular.

and he would always invite you whenever he’ll have meteor showers because it’s a moment where you both wish on shooting stars with the most heavenly scenery <//3

hq boys and their part time jobs.

yet another unseries headcanon post made by yours truly! unlike my last one which you can find here, i won’t be involving every single major hq character so that’s just a heads up!! i can’t always envision stuff fully with every single person...

kageyama tobio: this boy thought that applying to work part-time at a sports shop would be fitting ‘cause of his love for volleyball, completely unaware that this would involve way too much social interaction and tolerance???? like he thought he’d just have to look like someone who does sports and occasionally restock yoga mats but these loud ass kids are coming up to him asking for this that and the other for sports he’s never heard of. suddenly he regrets the entire thing. plus, he has no idea how to use the cash register and it’s his worse nightmare to ring up items without wanting to stomp a hole into it to get the customer’s change.

hinata shoyo: shoyo went straight for the pet shelter because he’s in love with playing with the little puppies. this boy will full on roll around with them, stuff them under his shirt so their heads poke out and just.. intergrate and become one of them... the doggies love him so much n always clamber to sit on his lap because hinata treats them with so much love and kindness!! customers looking for pets often joke about taking him home bc he’s just as excitable and friendly as the actual dogs. he’s also really good at convincing people on the fence to get a pet and explaining their individual personalities because he knows them so well :(

nishinoya yuu: he said: supermarket assistant so he could ride around on the carts, intimidates literally every customer with his ungodly enthusiasm but is determined to help EVERYONE, he’ll run around the store taking people where they need to go but only if he actually remembers where they’re situated. otherwise this boy is like “yeah they’re just... that way.” and bolts in the other direction. gets along with all his colleagues and tells them all about his tournaments with karasuno. he’s not the star employee but it wouldn’t be the same w out him.. often asks the manager if he can taste test the market’s pastry section to which he is rejected every single time.

tanaka ryuu: he’s convinced working in his local gym was him in his element, he wears that tag thing like a badge of honour and just walks around showing people he works there instead of actually doing his job??? he’s also overly enthusiastic and will sometimes cheer on the people working out as if he’s some kind of zealous personal trainer and everybody is like “literally how old is this guy??” he’s surprisingly awesome at reception duty because he’s always chatting to regulars about how they’re doing... the practical side like schedules and paperwork he leaves for someone else, everyone just puts up with him bc he’s a mood setter.

sugawara koushi: don’t get me started on this boy as a teacher’s assistant, like he helps little kids out with their work, tidies up the class during their break times and reads them stories?? he’s THAT senior boy who’s the biggest sweetheart and seeing him handle kids so well is like ... does he want some of his own ?? i’d like to offer my expertise he’s always got a smile on his face, gets along with all the staff much older than him, he’s like this perfect boy they all dote on and he gets super flustered saying he just really likes helping out the children and making them smile. often brings them little snacks too and they all call him big brother BYE.

tsukkishima kei: he does some low-key shit that’s kinda wholesome like working with the eldery or tutoring kids but prefers for literally nobody to know about it because anything he does outside of school is his business. he does it because it’s good pay, there’s not much else to it. if anybody found out he’d be super irritated tbh it’s just an invasion of privacy to him but eventually wouldn’t care because every kid is getting part-time jobs these days.

oikawa tooru: bye he’s THAT guy who got his job at a retail store because he’s pretty. like he has no real interest in clothes or anything but he takes the job as a place to validate himself when girls come up to him purposefully to flirt. he’s winking and laughing with them and also NOT actually doing his job but he brings in customers so at least he’s somewhat useful. doesn’t know how to fold clothes or hang stuff on hangers properly for shit and everyone lowkey wants to kick his ass but he’s actually very friendly and outgoing even if he has no clue what he’s doing. keeps asking if bra sizes come in small, medium and large and everyone just tells him to shut up.

iwaizumi hajime: when picking a job he was like “well what am i good at?” and went from there. he ended up as the local pool’s weekend lifeguard because he had the qualifications and time. again, everyone his age just tries to hit on him and he’s annoyed because it distracts him from the actual purpose of his job. he takes it seriously and impresses his colleagues with his swimming talent and knowledge on first aid. iwaizumi lowkey scares the little kids and they’re kind of afraid to ask him for help so he’s been working on looking a little more friendly.

kuroo tetsurou: kuroo as a tennis instructor assistant or just something sporty other than volleyball because he’s a multi-talented king?? like he’s not a professional by any means but he helps out the youth club and gets along with kids a few years younger than him. fills in for refs at tournaments, makes sure equipment is safe to use and is SUPER good at cheering club goers up when they lose or fail or can’t seem to do it correctly. he often refers to his experiences as nekoma’s captain to relate to them and they really admire his resilience and ask him to tell them more stories!!

kenma kozume: had to be dragged out to do a part-time job. was absolutely against the thought of it until hinata mentioned a friend of his who’d moved to the prefecture near kenma got a job at this new game shop. he was like fine and applied. he just kinda sat and people asked him questions about the games but he refused to do any further socialisation or actual grunt work like shelving, he quit pretty soon after, he just wanted the money to buy a game he ended up purchasing on his way out lmaoo

bokuto koutarou: he was dead set on having a volleyball related job, fukurodani have a club for junior players from all over the city to come and practice together. he was like?!? “and nobody told me??” he’s perfect for it as the captain and ends up as a secondary coach. he shows off A LOT and like kuroo, encourages the kids when they’re down. except kuroo is a more sit down, hand on shoulder, casual talk kind of guy. bokuto gets ridiculously sentimental and tells them dramatically about his lowest memories as captain when fukurodani lost and the kids are genuinely as emotional because of he way he tells it??? idk but they love him and he’s a ball of passion that keeps them going.

akaashi keiji: we are talking pretty waiter at a local gormet restaurant that gets tipped SO MUCH for his true professionalism. knows how to handle every situation with ease and is super calm, doesn’t care at all if someone from his school is there. he’s really just chasing that bag and he’s doing it well. bokuto often picks him up after his shifts so they can do stuff together but akaashi requests it be something calming since he’s tired after work... bokuto is like,, “so no to rock-climbing? alright i’ll reschedule..” the other waiters lowkey HATE the fact he gets tipped so well and they try and figure out his secrets. he has none. he’s just good at his job. i could see kiyoko working a similar job or somewhere lowkey like a flourist or bakery. she’s equally as professional and admired.

ushijima wakatoshi: ANY JOB. give this man any job and he’ll be able to carry it out like he’s been doing it since he popped out the womb. often mistaken for a grown adult so he gets jobs pretty easily? very very professional and aims to do everything perfectly. i think he’d also prefer a vb related job just like bokuto but something that could really get him somewhere big, smth to do with olympics like a paid internship for them .. can you even intern for the olympics lmao?? maybe something for the japanese team. it’s a lot of work to balance school & intern life but he’s very comitted and knows it’ll benefit him in the future. (kageyama was fuming when he found out he could have done that instead of his current gig).

tendou satori: has a job he’s very under-qualified for but somehow pulls off. he’s chilling at the hospital or law firm three times a week after classes or somewhere ridiculous but he’s doing just fine!! doesn’t actually do professional work n helps with small things but it impresses the hell out of everybody he tells, has no interest in persuing those careers but it’s fun for him, he gets paid VERY well for a boy his age and his personality creates a nice, talkative atmosphere in these seemingly tense environments.

miya atsumu / osamu: they both work at a café for novelty because they’re these handsome, athletic twins and it’s a thing that brings people in. they do a lot of fan service stuff and osamu is EXCELLENT like he was made for this job but atsumu is awful at keeping his cool. osamu will be chatting up customers, trying to persuade them to order more and atsumu is having a heated tustle with the coffee machine that’s broken down for the third time that day and it really ruins the magic osamu is trying to create. atsumu has probably sworn loudly. has probably almost been fired. he’s bad at playing along and flirting because he literally just wants them to leave so he can sit down lmao. osamu uses the pastries in the café as inspiration for his own at-home baking fiascos because it’s a stress-reliving hobby.

terushima yuji: he’s that boy in shoe shops that tries to sell you sneakers and he knows literally everything about them even when you really didn’t ask... looking to hit on girls that come in because shoe knowledge is obviously very sexy! alternatively you might catch him in a tattoo shop or sumn real appearance based and he definitely remembers all the regulars and greets them like they’re close friends, we’re talking inside jokes. always seems to know what tattoo people are looking to get purely based on their appearance and initial impression...

the list of unemployed:

yachi: too scared to do ANY job that requires interaction, she’s plagued by it.

hoshiumi: fired for picking too many fights with customers.

kyotani: EVEN WORSE THAN HOSHIUMI though he was strangely very efficient at paperwork.

suna: quit on the first day because it wasn’t what he expected and he doesn’t care about money that much.

lev: his family are like.... rich?? n nobody really expected it but he’s like yeah i really do not need one of those lmao.

yamaguchi: broke things, spilt things, smashed things. he really was trying his best..

aone: intimidated customers too much so they let him go (he was just STANDING THERE.. he deserved better).

sakusa: local venues are filthy, ushijima got the internship spot, no other job interests him enough to persue.

he doesn’t come across as creepy like his dad, but rather tries to read the person he’s trying to scam

so sometimes he uses his cuteness to his advantage, sometimes his sexiness

he does his best to target bad people to scam rather than just anybody off the street

he still can’t help but feel somewhat guilty no matter what though

like his dad, he’s sarcastic and short-tempered

but jinho knows how to mask his anger pretty well

and then he’ll get his revenge later

he’s not really the greatest at making friends so he just kind of hangs out with hui and yuto

hongseok gives him the benefit of the doubt too

he really can be a good person but when your dad is hades,,,,,

despite how much alike they are, jinho and his dad don’t get along very well, so jinho often spends his time away from the underworld

you read that right kids, he’s the son of gaston and belle

not saying she had an affair but might be implying it

he’s basically got the bodystrength and cockiness of his dad, but the kindness and braincells of his mom

no one's slick as hongseok no one's quick as hongseok no one's neck's as incredibly thick as hongseok’s 

he’s basically gaston but he’s not an asshole and he drinks his respect women juice

he feels really bad for his dad so he still talks to him but he wants him to change his ways and actively tries to get him to do so

loves to play with the kids in town and will often buy them snacks and stuff from the stands

there’s a lot of debate in the kingdom as to whether he’s even a prince but he still has girls lining up to marry him lmao

but he’s actually a really sweet person, but nobody actually gets to know him except those curious enough to find out

but he does still pull really dumb pranks on literally anyone

he’ll even go for jinho if he’s around

he’s here for a good time not a long time ok

he’ll literally just turn into a toaster and pop some toast out of himself like he just does things that doesn’t make sense

despite having his freedom, the keeper of his lamp is hyunggu because his mom wanted to study it and shinwon was fine with it

he doesn’t technically have to live in his lamp anymore but he just prefers it

the only exception is yuto just because his dad is wary of him

he’s exactly like his mom personality-wise

super sweet, very outgoing, loves learning new things and making new friends

manages to see the good in everybody

one of the only people who are nice to the villains (other than hongseok) even though his mom is still lowkey kind of wary of them

but she still always says “their kids are not them, so we can’t assume”

honestly thinks his mom is the coolest person on the planet

super duper curious about everything

he’s a little tiny bit strange but nothing close to hyojong

always has very vivid dreams and tbh he can’t ever remember if they’re dreams or old memories

typically pretty quiet but sometimes he just,,,,,,,,gets very loud and strange

usually brought out when he’s with hyojong

sometimes he hangs out with hongseok just because belle used to babysit him and read him all kinds of stories

so wooseok is more friends with hongseok’s mom than hongseok lmao

he hasn’t really done anything bad but the town is still kinda wary about him

but they’re nice to his face they just talk about him behind his back

he’s usually too lost in his own little world to notice tho

I don't remember if this is from last nights episode or from the one on Paramount+ (so if this is spoilery I apologize) but I wish Aimee wasn't so into Jeremy. Like I get it and I've definitely been in that position and I feel so bad for her but its like GIRL is that really the kind of guy you want to be with? all you have is you , taking solace in the two things you know - artwork & video games . you imagine yourself as a gallant hero - like the one in the zelda games - riding alone but still kind & brave , and these drawings you make consist of both the characters from your comfort and yourself as such . you bury yourself in your nintendo ds , carrying it everywhere , and maybe one day you’ll be the link to a story where there’s a courageous hero needed and you can fill that slot . of course , your interests only contribute to the fact you’re seen as high school’s punching bag . you take it .

but things get different the one day you get pushed to the ground - because high school’s like that - and your beloved drawings get torn , your ds held from your grasp like a toy held from a jumping dog . and oli d’angelo , the ‘ angel boy ’ , with red lips & cherub cheeks & puppy eyes , decides he’s had enough and clocks his assailant back . principal’s office visit again , you’re suspended , but your darling mother ( she’s all you have ; your father strolled out the door before you could know him & the woman is a bit broken from hoping he could come back after all these years ) rubs your back , takes you out for ice cream , and tells you that you did the right thing .

graduation , art school , new horizons . oliver d’angelo meets trevor frost , and they instantly click , and with words exchanged across library tables and eventually kisses behind bookshelves , a budding romance is formed . he’s rich ; he even offers to pay for your tuition , but you fall in love with him because he looks at you like you are everything , but you don’t realize the wool pulled over your eyes - because you’re an angel who’s naive & innocent and he’s the monster that berates you & digs at you with even the most syrupy words , then lulls you into coming back . you spend your nights crying thinking you are to blame for things he’s done to you - finding he has more bedmates than just yourself , being accused of things that aren’t your fault or your doing . . . you are broken down , piece by piece , and once more . . . there’s a day where you can no longer take it .

screaming , hellfire , a broken angel finally breaks free of his chains and runs away , even though the monster tried to clip his wings . you pack up your things and leave , and you realize that your financial support is gone , but you need to get out . 

. . . this life , it’s tested your kindness & your patience - you’ve been tossed through the wringer endlessly , and as you leave his apartment , you make a resolution that you can no longer allow yourself to be hurt . you cannot be vulnerable .

you are now oli , and oli shows up to his high school reunion with a new air of confidence . obnoxious confidence , like a party boy - but he retains his charm , words of silver leaking from his lips and charisma among a crowd enough to bring in even those who treated him unkindly in the years prior . he becomes the LIFE OF THE PARTY , but he doesn’t actually want to be there . this new persona - this arrogance , this annoying voice , this being who participates in every vice possible . . . he is nothing like the sweet & gentle boy that lies underneath . but he’s a mask , a suit of armor that you carry - so you can numb yourself over the loneliness & hurt that’s plagued you over the years .

new horizons , take two . you complete a tattoo artist apprenticeship , get your license - ship yourself off to another chapter of your life that hopefully means things will change . you’re black clothes & sunglasses & tarot cards & tattoos , silver tongues and smiles that only signal mischief . long conversations and words flying a mile a minute because your mouth is your greatest weapon . the good thing is nobody here knows you . . . even though maybe , you’d want them to - but if you do , you run the risk of getting hurt again .

oliver gets hurt , but oli is a courageous hero ( maybe ) that can go up against anything needed . . . you can be oli for now , even though that hurts just as much .

SO OLI . . . god this is my son . this is my oc i’ve written forever and god do i love him . 

so !! he’s an artist , loves to draw , paint , etc , now employed as a tattoo artist ! and . . . he’s also . got a lot of bad habits since he’s got a party boy facade to keep up and tries to make himself into someone else since , who he actually is , he’s scared to be in fear of getting hurt again . 

on the inside , he’s sweet and gentle and introvereted - he doesn’t like big social gatherings and would much rather vibe on his own or with a few close friends ( if he had friends ) than anything else . but he’s afraid , again , of being himself or being vulnerable towards anyone else because he’s seen as an easy target , and his feelings are easy to manipulate . . . 

so on the outside , he’s much different . he’s fucking annoying , to start - he’s a talker , always has something to say , and he’s very good at keeping a conversation . he’s a charmer , and paired with his big brown eyes and his award winning smile he can talk a snake out of its basket . but he also , again , maybe says too much and doesn’t have any fear or realization of consequences , and indulges himself in things like alcohol , sleeping around , loud parties , etc . because that’s the persona that keeps him guarded . and he’s gotten used to it , but he doesn’t like that this is what he’s known for . he wants people to get to know him for him but . . . this is his only option , since if he lets people inside , he gets hurt . so he just has to deal . 

he’s that person that talks so much , you think he’s oversharing when in ACTUALITY he’s telling you nothing of importance . oli is fucking smart & intelligent and he knows how to read a room , how to pick his words - all survival techniques he’s learned from navigating the world around him . he’s . . . an expert at this social stuff , even tho tbh he much rather wouldn’t be .

he’s still nice !! he’s very nice - but maybe a bit more crass and unafraid to say shit that you wouldn’t expect anyone else to say .

but also also it’s like i said before - he is very into artwork and video games , the latter especially being his huge comfort . first is his passion , second is his comfort . oli loves games and he’s lowkey nerdy as hell , even though he’s trying to conceal some parts of himself THAT always bleeds through in some shape or form . 

he’s also extremely into witchcraft , and that’s a major part of his character as well . he likes hanging at the brewery because it’s easy to get people who want tarot readings from him , and he always keeps a sigil or a crystal or something on his person . always has a water bottle of witch tea , always enchants his clothes or items , cleans his workspace at the tat parlor he works at with moonwater - that stuff . he’s known as two things - the angel boy or the magic boy .

- this can either be the most fun relationship or the most comforting, laid back one ever!

- so it's not uncommon to try out new hobbies or experience new things together to make the most of this time you have

- there are a lot of firsts with him because of that

- he doesn't mind having fun out in public, like that's the point of going out to him, but he also agrees with not wanting to cause trouble, one) that shit's embarrassing 2) he knows it'll make you, himself, and others uncomfortable, so there's really no need to do something uncalled for

- however, despite all the fun of childhood, it's also good to have calm, quiet moments in certain relationships, such as this one

- he doesn't mind, and actually quite enjoys indoor dates, like studying together or watching your favorite movies/shows

Reasons why i stopped playing roblox even tho no one asked

•no robux and i didn't rlly have my own money for it until recently

•bloxburg was supposed to be only pay to play until it got out of alpha. Ppl said it would be free in 2019. Never happened??????? Then they kinda just said that it would never be free i think? Idk i understand it but if it was never gonna be free in the first place, it's a bit annoying to promise that itll be free eventually

•enchanted high 2. Was so hyped. It came out and it was pay to play until it got out of alpha or smthn. I understand that too, just wish they said it was not gonna be free up fromt because it was soooo dissapointing. Also as far as i know, its still pay to play.

•eventually the only game i played was royale high but then everything started costing too much and so the game was just endless grinding so its not fun anymore. I only play when a big update comes. Also if you criticise the game, fans of the game will literally harass people over it. I played since 2018 and it was so fun. You had to work to get items but you didnt have to work so hard that it wasnt fun anymore.

Also some of the fashion show themes are lowkey racist or just sus. Also ppl have been asking them to put in "Mx" for the pageant and im not saying its on purpose but with the amount of ppl asking and its still not rlly considered its just lowkey sus to me ngl.

•sakura high is so good but its rlly new so its kinda empty and the dev went on hiatus for health reasons. Isnt bad at all, like take your time, but i got bored of it tbh and all i rlly did was break into ppls apartments and talk on the tiny "social media" thing there.

•kingdom life is so nostalgic and i went on it and they updated it so it actually looks rlly good now. Problem is that you cant save your character so i have to recreate then every single time and its annoying

a character that i used to love/like, but now do not:I stopped reading to avoid that happening, but most of Seidou’s baseball team? YES EVEN MIYUKI. There was this trend at the beginning of Act II where everybody basically forgot everything Eijun did and managed to overcome (obviously to make the new first years shine in how they saw him as well as to stall him becoming the ace) and coming from Miyuki it just seemed horribly wrong (even w/o the shipping part). That tough love act is something I don’t like especially when it's coupled with writing tropes I heavily dislike (as Margaret Atwood said “Young writers often overcompensate by having their characters wear Air Jordans. If your novel can’t stand on its own without every character wearing the latest AJs, it probably isn’t very good” which was basically Furuya’s treatment at that point and basically the whole Seidou was “look at Furuya’s AJs it’s so much better than Sawamura’s shoes which are a bit patched up but still equally as well working”)

a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not:Almost happened with Miyusawa for the same reasons as above. I don’t think it would have truly happened even if I had kept going but I was pretty angry at Miyuki for a while and almost shipped Sawamura and Furuya because their rivalry was one of the only times Furuya got any characterization at all ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌ (again, it probably wouldn’t have happened but I was so annoyed and frustrated I left before I could see what happened).

I really don’t like any pairing about Miyuki and Sawamura with other people but I wouldn’t go as far as saying they’re NOTPs, I probably have one but unless someone brings it up I won’t remember. Maybe MochixMura but that’s because I care about it in too platonic a way to ever think of the possibility of it being romantic.

favorite episode:The Miyusawa confessions (so like one episode per match ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ✩‧₊˚ ) jk. It’s hard to chose tbh. I do like episodes that focus more on the characters than baseball (the beginning was fine -extremely good even if you think about the end of season 1- but the more we advance, the more baseball games feel like giant plot devices more than games that actually destroy your soul).

favorite season:Well I could only see season 1 so….Manga wise I like the way the first act is written better (tbf I skim read act II after chapter 40-50 -can’t remember where I had stopped- and I just started re-reading the manga so I’m waiting until I’ve re-read everything to talk about how Act II is written so when I compare to act II I generally mean up until these chapters).

I’ve heard lately he got character development and I am curious about that. It was especially bad because he had a lot of potential at the beginning so seeing him stay the same got annoying real fast. It’s not actually hatred but hatred is hard for me.

a good book and a cup of Darjeeling tea is like some kind of secret heaven for him. She only knows that last one ‘cause he fell asleep in his chair, sure, but she only teased him a little bit and promised not to tell. Then discreetly bought him Darjeeling for Christmas since he refuses to share his birthday. Sometimes she comes over with her own book and they read together on the couch. And if she dozes off and drools on his shoulder, well, he knows how to take pictures on his phone. 7/7

oh my god what is occurring to me as these headcanons progress is how fiercely protective jenny would be of ripper in this au, to an extent that i think she wasn’t in canon. see, giles in canon is significantly more guarded than he was in his twenties, and because of this, giles in canon isn’t as easily hurt as ripper has the potential to be. sure, ripper will pretend to brush things off, but he has a tendency to sulk and withdraw to hide the fact that he’s been genuinely hurt. if anything, when he’s hurt, he might actually isolate himself More.

so what i’m getting at is the fact that when anyone asks invasive questions, or when the council shows up & ripper spirals, jenny IMMEDIATELY picks up on this. and because ripper won’t let her close enough for her to comfort him, she settles for fighting off anything that even Looks at ripper in a way she doesn’t like, because how dare it??? run the risk of hurting him???? he may be an abrasive mess but he is HER abrasive mess, even if she doesn’t actually consciously admit it.

willow’s protective of ripper too, actually, though she isn’t exactly as aggressive about it as jenny can be (”no, i don’t know how your dad’s important papers caught on fire,” says jenny calmly, dropping a lighter very obviously into the trash can, “why on earth would you ask me?”). mostly she just makes him a cup of tea and keeps on asking if she can help until ripper gives in and lets her watch tv with him. the age difference is less significant here so it’s kinda like he’s got a bunch of little siblings, which is nice in a different way.

xander and ripper probably actually have an Incredibly different dynamic, now that i’m thinking about it? because ripper doesn’t hold xander in contempt in the same way that giles did. sure, he gets annoyed with xander sometimes, but xander’s just a stupid kid. he’s learning. they go on patrol together & xander thinks ripper’s really cool, which feeds ripper’s ego but he also kinda worries that xander’s going to become a Disaster Like Him. jenny has to talk ripper down a lot tbh.

buffy n ripper just. love each other. it’s one of those watcher-slayer things because in every au they have a really strong connection, even though in this au ripper isn’t technically as much of buffy’s watcher. they play video games together and buffy makes ripper lots of aggressively cheerful pop-music playlists that he listens to all the way through. ripper sometimes makes buffy cookies and then pretends jenny made them, which is very clearly a lie (ripper never lets jenny near the kitchen after she put laundry detergent in the dishwasher because “it’s all soap, isn’t it?”).
