daichi: makes the same breakfast every morning. eggs and toast and some sort of protein. probably drinks black coffee, adds a little cream and sugar if he’s feeling fancy. a ketchup user and abuser. “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” blah blah just say you’re capable of waking up early and go.

asahi: idk why i just see asahi as a big baby thags like incapable of doing anything for himself honestly like his mom probs still makes him breakfast either that or he has a bowl of cereal.

sugawara: pop tart man. also goes feral over toaster strudels. the way he frosts them is an exact science. coffee but it’s light roast. uses creamer, duh.

noya: really likes ego waffles. toasts like 2-3 and gets really fuckin impatient so he just eats them as the next ones are toasting. probably drinks a glass of milk after like a freak. he’s always running late in the morning but will turn into a fuckin grouch if he doesn’t eat. it’s placebo. he just thinks he’s in a bad mood.

tanaka: i see this man as a scrambled eggs type of guy. it’s simple. the only thing he knows how to cook, actually. that, and mac n cheese (same). drank orange juice w bfast all through highschool and had a coffee awakening in college. doesn’t eat if he’s running late.

ennoshita: doesn’t eat breakfast, usually just has a cup of coffee and will eat a little something a couple hours later. he’s just not hungry in the morning.

hinata: probs has a whole ass family breakfast every morning in highschool. mum cooked eggs, bacon, rice (enter traditional japanese breakfast because i’m uneducated). when he went to college he tried to keep up with making a big breakfast every morning, and succeeds for the most part. not big on coffee.

kageyama: cereal boy. goes for somewhat sugary cereals, also the type to have a granola bar or something otw to school/classes. on game days , he makes a big breakfast. also not big on coffee.

tsukishima: tbh i headcanon him eating oatmeal and i really wish he didn’t. like, strawberry oatmeal or the strawberry K cereal is really just his favorite. coffee expert, really picky about the grounds he uses and the way he makes it. takes pride in his morning coffee. he can go without eating but he truly cannot go without coffee.

yamaguchi: pretty baby probably just eats a bowl of cereal or something. he doesn’t think too much about it but also tends to not skip breakfast. sometimes tsukki will bring him a coffee , but he doesn’t make it on his own.

kuroo: foggy area here. usually skips breakfast, always makes the coffee right when he wakes up but sometimes forgets to make a mug or a coffee to take with him to classes. sometimes he just randomly wakes up at the crack of dawn and makes a huge ass breakfast. he’s not used to eating a big breakfast, so when he does, it tears his stomach up.

kenma: he was up playing games and snacking all night. he’s full from the cosmic brownies and monster energy drinks he had at 4am before he ultimately crashed. and if he does have breakfast, it’s probably some sugary ass cereal. get some proper sleep, freak.

lev: probs has like a typical russian breakfast honestly, he grew up w it and still makes it to this day. a typical bfast for him is fried eggs with kolbasa and dill on top. family recipe type kid. this is only when he can be fucked to make it, though.

oikawa: motherfucker makes smoothies for breakfast. not even the protein shake types, like the fruity ass spinach ass types of smoothies that probably have more sugar than anything else in them. he’s thinks he’s eating “clean.” also stops by a starbucks or soemthing every morning bc he likes the complicated ass coffees rather than just making his own.

iwaizumi: i see him actually like, enjoying making breakfast. his go-to is a quick breakfast burrito. on weekends, hes a whore for chicken and waffles. probably uses a lot of hot sauce. definitely drinks black coffee he has big dick energy

matsukawa: skips breakfast entirely. literally cannot be fucked. if he eats in the morning, he goes to mcdonalds. mans never fucked with coffee, either. i’m telling you guys, he’s got a big dick, but this is one sketchy mfer.

hanamaki: really likes bagels. everything bagels with a shit ton of cream cheese. coffee with a tiny bit of cream and sugar. he’s classy. he’s perfect. i adore him.

bokuto: his mom always told him that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and why would he doubt her ? he makes the birds eye egg thinf with the hole in the bread and then puts in the pan and cracks the egg in the whole. you guys know what i’m talking about. another ketchup user and abuser but i’m less mad bc, cmon, it’s bokuto!

akaashi: this mfer. THIS MFER. i adore him truly. wait for it... greek yogurt. he gets the tubs of greek yogurt, sometimes the honey flavored kind, and will cut up fruit and put granola on top, and has espresso. he’s just. so sexy honestly.

tendou: always making something weird to be fucking honest. liek the motherfucker never skips breakfast, but he’ll straight up eat left over takeout from the night before at like 7:30am. what’s wrong with him. tries homemade pancakes every once in a while and they aren’t even that bad, he just puts WAY too much syrup on top.

semi: will have one cup of black coffee and that’s literally it.

ushijima: has the same thing every single morning. he never switches up. protein shake (black coffee in the shake), one fried egg, two pieces of bacon. it’s the perfect combo why would he ever even need to change it?

goshiki: tbh this mfer is always in a rush in the mornings but u know what. two pieces of toast and grape or strawberry jam. he’s a lil jam on toast cutie tell me i’m wrong. i’d die for him.

osamu: if he doesn’t have time to cook, he won’t eat. he doesn’t see the point in eating pre packaged shit. he wants to really get in the kitchen and make something. poor baby just wakes up late sometimes.

6) how is your life different now from two years ago

hmm.... july 2018.... tbh not a whole lot has changed since, then, graduate school has a funny way of being all the same all the time. but i can think of a few... 

school/job-wise, i became a doctoral candidate in june 2018 which was just over 2 years ago and that was cool, and my research was finally published in december 2019 which kicked ass. actually the project that was published wasnt even finished until october 2018 so i guess that too. my mentor and i have developed a really great mentor/mentee relationship that i attribute a good amount of personal growth to, bc for like the first time in my life i have someone actively helping me quash a lot of self doubt.

personal life-wise, hmm... in october 2018 i had the plate in my knee removed bc it was severely impeding my recovery and making it hard to walk. i figured out how to sit down on the floor and get up from the floor and go up and down stairs one at a time with a railing, then without a railing, learned how to crouch about halfway to normal, built up my stamina to stay standing for about an hour with minimal discomfort whereas before i suffered if i stood for 10 minutes. the girl that almost killed me was finally arrested and convicted and put in jail which doesn’t fix or reverse anything but still felt like some kind of justice. 

and then personality wise i am just a little less afraid of getting things wrong. still terrified and still impacts my life, but i am able to give things a shot instead of dismissing them outright. led to me finding out i’m pretty good at some stuff i otherwise never would have tried. i’m also a little less afraid of asking for help or setting boundaries. therapy has that effect i guess. 

i’m also way more long-winded than before, i feel like, as presented here. oops. i also feel like i’m much more forgetful and scatterbrained than before. not sure if it’s from stress, or a natural progression of taking on more obligations and learning how to balance them, or a long term side effect of having who knows what pumped into me for a month straight three years ago. maybe all three?

15) what is your favorite memory

questions like this are hard bc i have a pretty bad memory and favorite memories only come to me when i encounter something that reminds me of it? it’s really hard to call upon specific memories. but i’ll at least try to think of a nice one from recent memory, i’m sure it’ll be far from my favorite but that’s okay. 

hmm... oh actually my most recent birthday (abt 2.5 weeks ago) was really really nice? nothing super special happened; i got up, i went to work, i went home and bought myself an ice cream cake and video called my family. but throughout the day i had more people wishing me happy birthday than i ever had in my life. i’m a fairly active member of the rq official discord and i had no fewer than 2 dozen people immediately send happy birthday messages if they caught the implication from someone else (maybe more, that server is huge and it’s hard to keep track). and i’m in another, smaller server (you may be familiar uwu) where i’ve pretty fairly recently gotten to know a new group of people that seemed to pretty quickly welcome me into their friend group and i got some really nice birthday sentiments there too. and then at work i didn’t even really tell anyone it was my birthday, but i’m friends with one of my lab mates on facebook and he must have had birthday notifications on because he came by and wished me a happy birthday

obvs the last few months have been really isolating for just about everyone, but tbh it’s been especially hard for me bc i don’t really have many friends to begin with and definitely like no friends in my home town so my minimal social contact of like just small talk at the store and only having real conversations with coworkers being taken away has had me fairly down? but apparently over the past few months i have slowly been submitting myself to the mortifying ordeal of being known, even just a little bit, and reaping the rewards of being loved in return, no matter how small, felt really nice and made it a really special day uwuwuwuwu

17) what ‘small things’ things terrify you

i know i have some intangible existential fears that would definitely seem trivial to some people but see above point about having a really hard time calling upon specific memories, and also i’m in a good mood so i’m not gonna try too hard. but off the top of my head two silly weird fears i have are 1) heights and 2) having people around me start singing. 

1) i know heights are a very common fear/phobia but you don’t understand. i’m talking “i will literally freeze in place if i try to step onto this 4-inch stepstool, like seriously my conscious mind will not be able to lift my second foot onto the step, like it’s bolted to the ground” PETRIFIED of heights. i cannot stand on anything my brain perceives as not-solid-ground. this means i’m actually okay in airplanes and things like the st louis arch. i actually love that shit, i’ll look down at the ground and enjoy the view all day. but the second i have a single doubt about my ability to stay upright, fuck the fight/flight/freeze response. we are on 24/7 freeze/freeze/freeze response LOCKDOWN.

2) i’m talking flash mobs, i’m talking karaoke night, i’m talking people singing happy birthday to me. the idea of it puts me in “find an escape” mode, and being in it gives me the worst second-hand embarrassment ever, even if it’s all in good fun and there’s no reason for anyone involved to be embarrassed. this extends even to movie musical numbers (i actually skipped the scene in the tavern in disney’s tangled bc it gave me weird anxiety) and shit like hearing someone i know from another medium begin to sing (this is why it took me so long to check out the mechs and also why i cannot listen to recordings of friends singing as much as it would mean a lot to them for me to do so). idk if there’s a name for this phenomenon or if i’m the only person on the planet with this weird almost-or-maybe-complete phobia.

💖 have you ever been in love? are you in love rn?

it’s definitely not enough to just say “it’s complicated,” is it? lol. for me to be “in love” means that it’s mutual, and while i loved someone deeply, it’s wasn’t mutual, so I don’t consider myself to have been “in love.” it was a deeply homoerotic friendship just shy of five years that ended in nothing but pain for everyone involved... that was over 2.5 years ago, and let’s just say it’s taken a lot of time and healing to find how I am able to love fully again. i’m not in love right now, but i do have a crush on someone and am very infatuated with her

💗 how do you show you care? what do people do that makes you feel loved?

I really try to learn how other people need to be loved and cared for bc I’ve made the mistake of trying to show I care and accidentally smothering the other person too many times. The most basic way I show I care is just through checking in on people, not even necessarily asking them how they are or if something is wrong, but just by telling them I’m thinking about them and sending good thoughts their way. Often people will open up to me then if something is wrong, or just to give a quick update on the good/bad in their life at the moment. The little things, quick check-ins, “thinking of you” messages, they make a world of difference. I feel most loved when I get to spend time with the people I care about; covid and distance have made that rather difficult, but talking semi-consistently is a good substitute for when we can’t actually be together. Something that I always forget until it happens is that I am usually the one taking care of everyone else, so when another person takes care of me, when they cook me dinner, when they bring me a treat because they were thinking of me, when they send me a song they think i’d like, etc, etc. all of that makes me feel more loved than i can even comprehend... oh and forehead kisses. severely underrated.

(answered in a previous ask but ty for asking here is my answer) my two favorites are definitely tiramisu and cheesecake, though i’ve never tried my hand at making either. if i have the option of getting tiramisu cheesecake then i’m basically in dessert heaven. my favorite to make is definitely cupcakes. when I was in 7th grade I made it my entire personality.. which was sort of yikes but also made me pretty good at it. (I did several class projects that year in the form of cupcakes tbh) anyway, it’s one of my favorite ways to treat people because they’re small and individual and getting one always makes people feel special. some of my favorites that i’ve made are cinnamon bun w/cream cheese icing and Thin Mint inspired w/ chocolate mint twist icing topped with an actual Thin Mint for my friend’s wedding rehearsal dinner

oh my god. okay. alright... she will probably read this soooooooo... here we go i guess?? idk how good i am at vagueing okay?? do i seem like the kind of person who is subtle?? ANYWAY... my current crush (and honestly first real crush in well over a year) is one of my mutuals and honestly?? i’m very infatuated with her. she kind of just radiates a sort of light, and it feels warm, like sunshine. i want to bask in it. she has this beautiful smile that gives me butterflies. and although it was only once, she’s quite literally the butch of my dreams. we’ve only talked a few times, and I don’t know her all that well, but I really want to know her. PINK!!! I spent way too much time hating pink, I am embracing it with my whole pussy now. (That sounded better in my head not gonna lie) I think I even prefer pink over red in a valentines aesthetic too... hmmm🤔 As someone who did semi-competitive dance for almost 14 years I just have to say that I have a lot of thoughts on both glitter and sequins, and tbh my side job has given me even more thoughts on glitter (i didn’t think it was possible...) I despise glitter but I also LOVE glitter... and sequins are just scratchy, so I’ll have to go with glitter on this one. VELVET. 100%. I don’t know if i’ve ever actually felt real silk, only satin. It might just be the adhd but i have always loved the texture of velvet, it’s soft and smooth and comforting and reminds me of when i was younger and i would play dress up with my grandma.

I love my hair. I love my natural, thick brown hair, and love that I can have the fun colors i’ve always wanted

I love my voice; even with a vocal cord dysfunction, it’s still brought a lot of comfort to others when they needed it most

I love the tiny “S” tattoo on my foot. It keeps me connected to some of my favorite people even when continents and oceans lie in the way

I love my femmeness. I felt so out of place as a lesbian for so long, I wasn’t butch, I wasn’t femme, I didn’t feel like anything. I had a “friend” ask me, “are you even really a lesbian?” Only when I allowed myself to exist without forcing myself into one category or another did I find home in being femme; i wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love my resilience. I am nothing if not resilient. (We’ll unpack that one later, okay?)

I love my eyes. I love that they were once brown and now are so inconsistent in color. I love that they allow me to see so much beauty and love in this world. I love that because of them I can read and read and read and then put off reading by watching new shows and then read some more.

I love my creative side... she’s been quite lost for some time, and i still struggle to find her on occasion, but when I do she appears in full color, on fire, lighting things up. I love the connections I have because I got to be creative with others from the age of 2... and I love the creativity I have inspired in others, even if I never get to witness it.

I love my choices. For such a long time I didn’t have the luxury of choosing things for myself. Two years ago, almost to the day, I made the first of many choices entirely for myself, and I had never felt so sure or so free. Even though my choices have left me with empty spaces in my constellation, empty chairs at my table, I wouldn’t change them. I love my choices, because in the end, my constellation is just part of a galaxy, my table is just one amongst many, and there will always be another star to light the sky, there will always be another person who needs a table at which to sit.

Awful things ive been told by X so i will never forget bc X sure did

-for my sister's birthday, x made some fries and cream sauce with mushroom (my favorite). I was hungry and everyone kept talking and talking so i snuck out to the kitchen and stole some fries with sauce to put in a sandwich. Turns out they forgot (like every adults) to go grocery shopping and basically i took too much sauce and there was no cream to make some more so i got screamed at bc i was fat and i ate too much and that i should lose all that weight bc otherwise i would get raped by all the boys in highschool with the huge ass i had :). Tbh i still to this day dont understand how did we run out of cream bc rn even tho idont have a car or a driving license i sure damn well go on shopping spree by walking. Unless it was on a sunday and they forgot. Anywaaay

-I actually thought that i was exaggerating that one time but she actually said it again (in front of my sister this time but she sure will never act like she was here) when i told her might not pass my 3rd year of mechanical engineering and that i will probably redo and she told me i better not bc she wants me to stop taking the subway as soon as possible and if i redo a year it will be one more year where ill need to take the subway and if i get raped in the subway it will be my own fault for failing a year and putting myself in danger for one unnecessary year.

-When i had a free semester (i failed my second year lets just say i was still pretty shaken by my dad's death) i wanted to take a job she didnt want me to but she wanted me to take care of the website of her shop. I said i didnt want to bc (she literally asked "would u like to do it???" So i said no) .. i didnt want to deal with her crusty ass annoying clients and running a fb page really isnt my thing so my older sister took care of it. However an order got lost bc it was made on a post in a fb group which deleted our post hence deleting the comments and the order with it. My sister didnt understand what waa going on and then tried to explain to mum and then my mum screamed at her that we basically were making fun of her and taking advantage of the fact she didnt know how to use technology (she is a fb addict she uses it more often in a week than i did for the past 7 years). Anyway my sister got mad cried in her car and while she wasnt here my mum screamed at me telling me everything was my fault bc i refuses to take care of her fb page and that my sister had better things in her life and at work than doing this and that one day something real bad was going to happen to my sister if she gets this upset one more time bc she is asthmatic (and get asthma crisis when she is upset) and that it would be my fault.

-also like a week after my dad died she made a personal mission to tell me daily that in the religious fb group she is someone told her that someone brutally/suddenly dying like my dad was a warning that happen when someone in the house doesnt pray (like me and my sister but somehow im the only one who got this kind of reminder).

-in the same time she like cornered me in the bathroom and she was really depresses after my dad died and i was too and she would end up crying on my shoulder telling me to get fit, study and pray (idk if that was supposed to be an encouragement but it sure was ill-timed 💀)

-when i was in middle school she was CONSTANTLY comparing me to 2 other girls bc they were thing and had good grades (not as good as mine but anyway) the thing that kills me is that both of these girls were bitchy (each in their own way) and she knew it first hand but still she would rather have a slim bitch (as a mean person) of daughter rather than a fat normal one.

-on top of that she would regularly hide the key of the kitchen so i would not eat between my meals which is not the bad thing in this point. She also would never allow me to wear knee-lenght dresses or short (i was allowed to shave anyway soo) for middle to high school all of this while bragging abt the miniskirt she used to wear when she was thirteen. When i talked abt it my sister she was like " but u know mum is not all that picky about clothes she would let u wear anything you want if u were not fat". Again thats not the worst thing yet. The worst thing is when YEARS later we talked abt how/in what way/when did each one of us put on weight and when it came to my turn she went like "no u u were not fat in school it all started when u entered uni" like what??? What????? U called me a cow when i was in middle school and when i hid to cry abt u ran after me and screamed "why are u crying? Just loose some weight!" hysterically and a of this but suddenly u turn around and act like u never thought i was fat????? I rarely got tagged in this kind of things before so I kind of excited to do this lol, I hope my followers can get to know me better after reading this since I don’t really interact with a lot of you guys, sorry~ but you’re welcome to talk to me anytime about anything ^^

Let’s start :)

FACTS: 1. I am female and I’m 24 years old (I was born on May 27th 1992), I know, not that young huh? lol.

2. When I was in middle school I was a huuuge fan of Liverpool (to the point of obsessed), I’ve never enjoyed football before but then I accidentally watched the champion league final on TV (it was in 2005) they went agains AC Milan and they won, and I kind of just fall in love with football with the team that day.

3. I’ve listened to kpop ever since I’m in middle school too, k-drama was really huge back then. I watched full house then I fell in love with rain/bi/jung jihoon (I was screaming like mad when BTS cover rainism) rain’s album ‘it’s raining’ was the first kpop album I’ve ever bought. 4.During high school I discovered the wonder of yaoi thanks to my friend, since then I’ve never been the same again, thank you my friends for tainting me lol. 5. I’ve been drawing since I was like in elementary school but for some reason stopped when I was in middle shcool (probably has something to do with my obsession over liverpool and kpop) but I started drawing again in high school after seeing most of my friend drew and I got motivated. 6. I immensely enjoyed playing Go back in high school but hasn’t played ever since bcs I don’t have people to play with me :( (I think at this point I’ve forgotten most of the rule). 7. I could say I speak 4 langauges (Indonesian, english, Japanese, and Korean) I’m not fluent but I’m good, if the words are not difficult I mostly could understand what people are saying in both Japanese and Korean. 8. On 2009 I caught a desease called nefrotik syndrome to the point I was comatose for two days and almost died, and when I woke up I basically forgot what happened in the past three to four months of my life, and until now I never got those memories back even after people retelling me the story. I enter university late because of a health problem I need to hold back a year because I have to fully recover first. 9. The desease kept coming back and in the span between 2009-2012 I was hospitalized for more than I could count (I stopped at 10), there were time I had to eat 30 pills a day :’‘‘( (stay healthy guys, don’t eat too much junk food, trust me, you never want to go through that, it sucks. you’d wish you were die instead) 10. I was born and raised here in Indonesia :D 11. Tennou basically means emperor in Japanese ( 天皇) I don’t know how, my friend just started calling me this since I’m kind of their leader lol, but you can call me Nou instead!

You know when you watch a movie and the protagonist wakes up at the hospital and she/he started screaming “where am i? what happened to me?” you’d think that was over reacting and cringey, I used to think that too, but after I’ve experienced it myself I know it’s a genuine reaction. I did that, I literally screamed once I woke up at ICU because I couldn’t remember anything. Dramatic. 5. Any pets or siblings? two sibling, a sister and a brother, both are older. cats, I have cats, there’s like 6 right now, I’m not counting some that just coming for food. 6. What is your favorite tongue twister? I’ve never really did it so I’m not really sure, it’s not a thing in my country I guess. 7. Do you have a preferred fragrance or perfume? (what is it?) just like Jungkook I prefered soap scent or just softener scent like downy, not really a fan of perfume tbh. 8. Can you rub your stomach in a circular motion with one hand while patting your head with the other and jump on one foot? I literally did it, I can YESS 9. Who or what do you confide in when things get rough? I usually don’t. I keep it to myself until I forget about it. 10. What is your favorite childhood TV show? Those sunday morning animes (Digimon, pokemon, hamtaro, cardcaptor sakura, saint seiya, ets), I also enjoyed teletubies, power rangers, ultraman, etc. 11.
