Making myself giggle as I imagine an AU where Crosshair goes with his family at the end of "Kamino Lost," and subsequently the events of "Spoils of War/Ruins of War" play out almost exactly as we see it go down, but with Crosshair there.

The levels of grumpy snark would be unprecedented.

He would spend most of the mission with Hunter and Wrecker because he'd have been assigned watch duty and therefore wouldn't get stuck in the cargo container.

Only difference in the story would be that they manage to get away with some of the treasure, because Crosshair definitely wants to one-up Wilco and they are NOT leaving Serreno emptyhanded. Also, Crosshair fumes for the next month over Tech breaking his leg and spends the rest of the season bringing it up, but they all know it's just because he's concerned.

(I almost always stick with canon compliance for my stories, but I might just need to branch out a little to AU and write this one down.)

also they adopt grogu because HE NEEDS A HOME AND HE'S CUTE AND SMOL and din has no self control when it comes to foundlings

Din: *Kicks the door open, looking panicked* Crosshair: What did you do?! Din: NOBODY DIED! Crosshair: WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT?!

Wrecker: What are you writing? Fennec: The government wants to know what kind of weapons we have in the house. I'm letting them know it's private information. Omega, looking over Fennec's shoulder: This just says 'fuck around and find out' in calligraphy.

Crosshair: So we can either do something dumb that could very well get me injured or we can listen to Mayday and not do the thing, Fennec: Well there’s a clear right answer here. Crosshair: *proceeds to throw five packs of mentos into a barrel full of diet coke*

Omega: If I run and leap at Mayday, they will most certainly catch me in their arms. Omega, running towards Mayday: Coming in! Mayday: No! I’m holding coffee! Mayday: *Drops coffee and catches Omega*

Fennec: Ah, ready for another fantastic day of being better than Crosshair.

Tech: I didn’t even realize how sarcastic I was being. It’s starting to become a problem, I think.

Wrecker: What are your adjectives? Mayday: …You mean my pronouns? Wrecker: No, I know what your pronouns are! What are your adjectives? Mayday: …I dunno. What are yours? Wrecker: Noisy and chaotic! Mayday: I’ve never had something go from making no sense to making complete sense so quickly.

He's got a cozy fire and a cuddly tooka. You can't see it, but he's also got an insulated flask of caf to help keep him comfy while he waits for Rex's team to come pick him up.

Behold a group photo that I finally finished after putting it off for so long. Still hands suck to draw, faces are a bit derpy but I am proud of it.

They did get a nice redesign which I think is nice. If you have any questions, comments, or would like to see more please let me know!

Maybe I’ll do there new armor and all of omegas outfits one day.
