George and you have been buzzing with excitement all week about the Taylor Swift concert. As you both get ready, George can’t help but tease you about your obsession with the singer. “I just hope you don’t faint when she comes on stage,” he jokes, adjusting his hair in the mirror.

You roll your eyes playfully, grinning back at him.

“You’re just jealous you’re not a Swiftie like me,” you retort, holding up a charm bracelet adorned with Taylor’s signature.

George chuckles and lifts his wrist, showing off a matching bracelet he secretly made for you both.

“Well, I’m committed now, aren’t I?” he says with a cheeky smile, and you can’t help but laugh at how adorable he is.

George helps you swap your top for one of theirs, and you do the same, both of you bursting into laughter as you don the fan’s shirt, emblazoned with Taylor’s lyrics.

“This is so epic!” she exclaims as she poses with both of you in your new matching shirts.

“Now this is a proper concert outfit!” George declares.

As you exit the venue, George looks at you, wearing the shirt.

“I’m so excited!” You smiled, turning around, looking up at his face. “Oh my gosh!!! We have to get matching outfits!!! What era should we go as? I mean probably lover, right?”

“Wait, what about Lady? Do you think Rachel and Josh will watch her? I mean, I want to take her, but I don’t want to leave her alone in a hotel for six hours.”

“I think they’ll be more than happy to watch her.”

The intro started and you started screaming and jumping as you waited for Taylor to come out. Tom held your hand and watched with love at how excited you were.

You scream sang the lyrics to the opening songs then screamed as she did her opening speech. She started playing Lover and you looked up at Tom, a smile on your face and love in your eyes. Same as him.

“Dance with me, love?” He asked, putting out his hand as Taylor started singing.

“I would love to,” you smiled, grabbing his hand and waltzing around to lover.

You danced around the box singing with Tom as Taylor sang.

“Ladies and gentleman will you please stand,” you sang, looking up at Tom. “With every guitar string scar on my hand I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover.”

She told me what happened and I just felt terrible. I told her that I went through the same thing and I played her this song. Ladies and gentlemen Y/N Y/L/N is in the house!”

The crowed started cheering as Taylor started playing the piano again.

“But if I’m all dressed up they might as well be looking at us. And if they call me a slut, you know it might be worth it for once. If I’m gonna be drunk, I might as well be drunk in love.

Grabbing my phone I do what literally everyone else does when they need to rant about their man. Put it in the group chat for the girls to back you up.

Backstage I stand with Trin who is currently warming up for her match tonight.

“We haven’t really spoke about it to be honest. I know I’m being over dramatic but he knew how excited I was for this concert.” I complain

A familiar scent fills my senses. A strong pair of arms wrap round my waist enclosing me in a tight embrace.

“There’s my girl, I’ve been looking everywhere for you.” He says.

“Well you’ve found me, now I gotta go get ready for my match.” I say u wrapping myself from Mattys grasp.

“I’ll see you out there Trin.” I announce before quickly leaving, leaving him confused.

“Boy, you done fucked up.” Trin

“What did I do wrong?” He says.

Shaking her head she replies “the fact that you don’t even know what you’ve done wrong makes this whole thing even worse.”

“Come on Trin, help me out.” He pleads

“The concert Matt, she was looking forward to you and her going and you’ve let her down. Do you know she wasn’t even going to go because of it? This is something she loves and wanted to experience it with you. You better get your shit together and sort it out before the gig.”

“Fuck!” He says letting out a huge sigh. He didn’t mean to hurt yn, he knew she was looking forward to the concert but didn’t think it would be a big deal if he wasn’t there.

“This whole swiftie thing has just got out of hand, but don’t worry Trin, I’ll fix it!”

Day of Era’s concert

Perfect you say to yourself.

You and the girls had decided to dress up as your favourite Era. You had gone with Lover era. Standing looking the mirror you had found the perfect dress, a pink off the shoulder tulle mini dress, it was the epitome of lover - and of course your outfit wouldn’t be complete without and arm full of friendship bracelets ready to swap with all the other attendees.

You had sent off a text to Trin and Beth to tell them you were ready to leave. A small knock at the bedroom door startles you slightly, knowing it would be Matty you tell him to come in. Turning around you are met with Matty dressed up with pink trousers - similar to the shade of your dress. A white Taylor swift T-shirt and and a few little friendship bracelets on his arm.

“We ready to go babe?” He asks

“I thought you weren’t coming?”

“I wasn’t, but I didn’t stop to think how much you wanted me to be there, and how much I wanted to be there with you. I want to have all these experiences with you and I can’t do that if I’m sitting at home.”

He walks closer to me and takes hold of my hands, looking into my eyes he continues.

“I love you so much yn, no swiftie beef is gonna stop me from making your dreams and wishes come true.”

He leans down and tenderly kisses my lips.

“I love you too Matty, you have no idea how much this all means to me.”

The truth is he did know how much it meant to yn. He could see it in her eyes and he made a silent promise to himself that he would never again be the reason her eyes were filled with sadness.

Hazbin/Helluva: Asking to go to the Eras tour/Barbie movie

Charlie & Vaggie have been waiting and waiting to see the Barbie movie since it was announced. Charlie has had your outfits planned months in advance and Vaggie helped decorate part of the hotel for the premiere night, turning the hotel into a Barbie dream house. It has been months and the three of you are still finding glitter on the main entrance carpet.

Alastor is absolutely against any music that does not involve jazz. He refuses to even play into the idea of going with you, which you expected. Though he does find it sickeningly nice of you ask, sweetheart.

Husk immediately tells you no, while looking up showing times for the Barbie movie. He buys the tickets after hearing enough of you talking and talking about it. He grumbled the whole way in, but you caught him laughing and invested in the movie, despite what he says.

Angel Dust bought the Eras tour tickets before you could even suggest going. He is so fucking hyped. He expects you to dress up in your favorite era and you better know all the goddamn words, bitch. He will cry if you make friendship bracelets with him and share them.

Sir Pentious is confused mainly. He's tried to go to Angel and have him explain this Taylor Swift and the Eras, but cannot seem to understand it all. He wanted to impress you with his knowledge after you asked him to go with you. It's cute, even if he isn't getting it.

Lucifer had fucking tickets before they were announced. He surprised you with them, a bright smirk on his face. He knew how much you wanted these and he is more than happy to do whatever he needs to do to ensure that you have a great time.

Vox wants so badly to be Reputation, but he is so 1989. He is all for this concert for the publicity and VIP treatment. Also, just to splurge some money on you. Okay, a lot of money. But, he puts his foot down at being forced to dress up as 1989 or Speak Now. He wants to be Reputation and just let him have it, damn it.

Velvette has been planning her fucking outfits since the tour was announced. She's not that into Taylor whatever, but she wasn't stupid and knew how much of an Internet sensation this was gonna be. She had to go, and if she was, might as well bring you along.

Adam laughs in your face. He can't believe that you would honestly fucking suggest going to see Taylor Swift with him. He makes fun of you for thinking that that was a smart move, but begrudgingly goes with you anyway. But, you fucking owe him, big time.

Lute would rather see Oppenheimer than Barbie. She tries everything to convince you to drop the Barbie movie from the Barbenheimer movie marathon you suggested, but no dice. Once you offered to see Oppenheimer more than once and a few other movies that she wanted to see, does Lute actually join you for the Barbie movie.

Blitzo is fucking pumped for this concert. Anything for an excuse for him to dress slutty and get drunk is fine with him. Besides, hearing drunk Blitzo try and sing long to the words, but get them all wrong is so funny and precious. He was not happy at how much you recorded it for blackmail, but also proud because same.

Moxxie & Millie were more than excited to go with you, planning your outfits all together so that none of you wore the same era. Although, you definitely couldn't dress up as Lover or Reputation because those were M&Ms and you couldn't pry it from their cold, dead hands.

Loona is not like other girls©, so she immediately scoffs when you genuinely suggest going to see the Barbie movie. She told you that she would never go in a million fucking years. However, after some persuasion on your end, Loona at least agreed to watch the first 30 minutes before she would walk out and find another movie.

Stolas is over the moon that you want to see Barbie with him. He's been hearing about it, but wasn't too interested in it all that much. Well, until you asked him to go with you. He immediately began to get his outfit together in the spirit of the Disco dance sequence of the movie. It was fucking amazing.

Ozzie & Fizzeroli were more excited than you for the concert. Ozzie had everything taken care of for both Fizz and you. Worried about what you're gonna wear? Don't worry, Ozzie's assistant has been gathering your outfits for weeks, with Ozzie s final approval before revealing it to you both. All you and Fizz had to worry about was having fun.

Verosika Mayday has been waiting for this movie for months. She denied it, but you noticed how she sent you all the Barbie memes and behind the scenes stuff. If you don't go all out and dress up, she doesn't know who you are and will sit on the other side of the theater.

Striker had no clue what the fuck you were babbling about. So, he looked into it, and was not fucking thrilled about it. But when he bought tickets to Taylor Swift, the grin on your face was well worth the 3+ hours of pure 'torture' he was going to endure.

✨The MHA Boys Go To The Eras Tour With You✨

Lol I just had to do this, please bear with me! I just watched The Eras Tour film and my MHA brain rot kicked in. Here's a few headcannons of how the MHA guys would react to being taken to the Eras Tour as your boyfriend. Spoilers: They're all weirdly into it. And some of them even plan out couples costumes! Gasp!

⚡️⚡️Denki Kamanari⚡️⚡️

Ok there is no doubt in my mind here - Denki is absolutely a Swiftie. He read all of the blog posts detailing hacks and tips to get tickets for the show, and he preregistered for a sale code the minute he was able to. He has half of Class 1A sign up for presale codes so that he can have the most amount of chances possible to enter for a spot at the show.

He's absolutely over the moon when he scores you both tickets to the upcoming concert. He asks you to help him make a Pinterest board so that you can come up with the perfect Eras outfits (he wants to do Lover). Guess what? You go as Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince. He's decked out in a glittering blazer with a bejewled plastic crown and he's thrilled. He picks out a matching flashy dress for you to wear, and keeps complimenting how absolutely gorgeous you look in it the whole night.

He's all about taking photos of your 'fits in front of the stadium and blushes every time he gets a compliment from a fellow swiftie. When Taylor takes the stage, he nearly faints. As she starts playing Lover he holds you close and tells you that he's so glad you both get to share the special night together.

Sero really doesn't get what all the hype about Taylor Swift is about, but of course he's willing to go to the concert with you. The man loves live shows - but you need to tell him to leave his vape pen behind for fear that you won't get let into the stadium if he's caught with it ("But babe, getting high at a concert is part of the experience!).

You get him a plain black t-shirt with a small snake icon on it. He doesn't get it, but he shrugs and promises to wear it. When you get to the stadium, he's really overwhelmed and intrigued by all of the glittery, feathery costumes. He spends a lot of time trying to figure out how his snake shirt fits into the mix since all he sees is hot pink and red regalia. He smiles and waves gamely at the other swiftie boyfriends in attendance and makes more than a few bro friends while in line for a beer.

When the show starts, he is immediately impressed by the production value of the whole thing. When Taylor steps out onto the stage in her glittering bodysuit, his jaw drops and he turns to you accusatorially "BABE! I never realized that she's hot!?" You both laugh as she sings her way through the Eras.

When Love Story comes on, he wraps his arms around you and says "I remember this one from when we were kids! Makes me think of you." He plants a kiss on your cheek and you grin.

Finally, the intro music for Reputation queues up and an animated snake curves it's way across the stage below you. Sero grabs your arm excitedly as he realizes the snake on his shirt matches the stage. When Taylor comes out and kills the choreography for "Are You Ready For It?" Sero turns to you with stars in his eyes and says "This is the coolest concert I've ever been to. Thank you so much for bringing me!" By the time Karma comes around, he is fully dancing in the aisles alongside the rest of the swifties, completely wrapped up in the moment as confetti rains down on the crowd. When you get home, he buys you matching Reputation era sweatshirts on Etsy to commemorate the night.

"Babe - maybe you can get one of those sparkly bodysuits like Taylor wore?"

"Sero - I have absolutely no place to wear something like that."

He starts an Eras Tour specific notebook and spends lunch breaks interviewing everyone at Lunch Rush about their favorite Taylor Swift songs and eras. He spends time online gathering data and drawing up little charts, guessing at what songs might make the set list. He's disappointed when he can't find any interviews online that feature her choosing the best Pro Hero, so he decides that her favorite is likely All Might (the only valid choice).

He listens to each album in full, starting with Debut and ending with Midnights. He's thorough, and learns the lyrics to the chart toppers off of each album. He's so excited to impress you with all of his Taylor Swift knowledge and fun facts at the show, that he forgets he needs to dress up for it. When you both arrive at the stadium, he whisks you off to one of the merch lines so that he can grab an official Eras Tour t-shirt. He needs to be appropriately dressed for this occasion in order to prove his dedication to you and, by extension, to Taylor. You tell him that it doesn't matter what he wears, you just want him to enjoy the show with you.

When the show starts, he is bouncing off the walls. From time to time, he'll bend down to whisper an obscure fact or data point about Taylor's meteoric rise to the top of the music charts. A few eras into the show, he stops sharing fun facts - that's how you know he's legitimately enjoying the show.

He tries his best to dance along, but even with the moves he's picked up from Mina he's a truly terrible dancer. He doesn't seem to care, though, as he throws back his head to belt out the bridge to "You Belong With Me" while shaking his hips. You smile at how much he's enjoying the concert - you haven't seen him let loose like this in a long time.

Finally, when the performance for Vigilante Shit starts to kickoff, you notice a deep blush settle across Izuku's cute freckled face. Without taking his eyes off the stage, he leans down to whisper in your ear: "I didn't realize that this song was so...sexy?" You crack up and he grins sheepishly, watching Taylor straddle a chair. He then boldly says: "Maybe you can do some of these moves when we get home?" Your loud cackle of a laugh is drowned out by thousands of swifties singing along around you. You tilt your head up to kiss your boyfriend hard on the lips. He threads his fingers into your hair and deepens the kiss.

You pull away, craning your neck to take in more of the killer choreography before turning back to face him. "I like concert Izuku. I'd like to see more of him." You say, and he blushes even more furiously.

Katsuki loves concerts. You know this because he's dragged you to countless shows across the past 6 months of dating. He loves all genres of music - pop, rock, sad boy emo, heavy metal. You name it - he's heard it. Even so, you're a little apprehensive to ask him to go to the Eras Tour with you. It just doesn't seem like his scene - glittery, screaming fans making heart eyes and painting "13s" on their hands just seems like something he would not enjoy.

"Hey dumbass! Why didn't you tell me you got Taylor Swift tickets!?" Katsuki angrily bursts into your dorm room one Friday night, looking pissed as usual.

"What? Who told you?" You look up from your laptop, surprised.

"Mina! She said you've had them for weeks! Why wouldn't you tell me?" He sounds more hurt than angry now.

"Kats...I didn't think you'd be interested to be honest!" You get up and cross the room, taking his face in one of your hands. "Do you want to go?"

"Not if I'm your second choice!" He's defensive, but his face has softened at the physical contact.

"Babe - you're always my first choice. I just didn't think you'd enjoy her music style and all of the girly vibes." You pull him into your room and shut the door to keep nosy dorm-mates at bay. You motion for him to sit down in your desk chair and you hop onto your bed.

"That's pretty sexist of you!" He has you there.

"Kats - do you want to go or not?"

It turns out Katsuki has been trying to get Eras Tour tickets for months but to no avail. He is dying to go to this show since it's being lauded as "the biggest stadium tour since The Beatles played Shea Stadium!" As a music lover, it would be a crime to miss such a spectacle.

A week leading up to the concert, you can tell he's getting pretty excited. He's made you read through the setlist with him at least twice. He's trying to guess what the surprise song might be - hoping you get to hear something exclusive so that he can brag about it online. You laugh at this - even with concerts he's so damn competitive.

You're most surprised when he shows up at your door one day with a big cardboard package from Etsy. "I got us some shirts for the concert." he says gruffly, pushing his way into your room. He pulls out two dark purple tees - one that says "Karma is My Boyfriend" and the other stating "I'm the Boyfriend" in bold font. He smiles sheepishly up at you, a rare moment of vulnerability as he waits for your approval. "Katsuki...these are so cute! Literally this is perfect." His mouth quirks up into a smile at the praise, he's clearly pleased with himself.

Before you know it, you're taking a couples pic in front of the stadium in your matching purple Karma shirts and jeans. You snap a few pictures and press your lips to the side of his jaw, leaving a ruby red lipstick stain. "Ugh - come on!" he groans, wiping the lipstick off his face with the back of his hand. He makes a show of being annoyed, but you know he secretly loves being doted on like this.

He goes crazy during the show - he's extra appreciative of the pyrotechnic display during Bad Blood. He gets especially quiet during the Folklore era, and you can see how much he loves watching the grace of the dancers as they swirl across the stage during The Last Great American Dynasty.

You notice that he loves watching you dance and belt out the lyrics to every. single. song. He has this adoring look on his face as he looks at you. You knew he loved going to concerts - but you quickly realize that he loves going to concerts to spend time with you.

At the end of the night, he pulls you into an Uber and plants a soft kiss on your mouth in an unexpected show of public affection (Katsuki is not huge on PDA, he prefers private moments of intimacy with you). "Thanks so much for bringing me, babe. I can't even describe how much I enjoyed that show. Did you see the flamethrowers during that one song!? Insane!" Katsuki has glitter in his hair, and a smile stuck on his face.

You spend the rest of the ride home recounting favorite moments from the show and grinning at each other.

as silly as you could think it was, you couldn’t hide your excitement at the idea of dressing up for a concert. you had dressed up for concerts before, but you had never worn costumes to any of them. for months, you and your boyfriend finnick had spent entire afternoons sewing and attaching fake gemstones to your outfits.

at first, you had suggested just wearing ‘22’ shirts and calling it a day, but he was very adamant about doing the most AND making it from scratch. there were many discussions about what you should wear. on one hand, finnick really wanted to go matching with you. the idea of going as a hamburger and fries, like taylor swift and katy perry in the ‘you need to calm down’ video, was brought up but quickly dismissed by you. “how am i going to enjoy myself at a concert wearing a big ass fries outfit,” you protested. “bold of you to think that you were going to be taylor,” he retorted.

the classic ‘miss americana & the heartbreak prince’ outfit was also on the table, but finnick was eager to make a more elaborate outfit, so that idea was discarded too. even though it wasn’t what you both wanted, you decided to wear non-matching outfits. he scrolled through pinterest with you for half an hour before you finally found one you kind of liked: a black top and skirt full of gemstones that simulated the ‘bejeweled’ music video outfit. your eye makeup would include little beads, and your platform boots too. it wasn’t what you would normally wear to a concert, but you didn’t dislike it.

then, there was your boyfriend finnick odair, with his tongue sticking out in concentration as he sewed the ringmaster outfit that taylor had worn on the red tour. he had the same expression when he made friendship bracelets. being impeccable with knots, your lover was very focused on making friendship bracelets. in the time it took you to make three, he managed to make ten. his bracelets were very well done, with quirky references and pretty color palettes, although they were a little bigger than normal because his reference was his own wrist.

you love concerts, but you had never been to a taylor swift one before. when finnick invited you, you were a little unsure about going. “i wouldn’t want to take the ticket from a real fan” was your excuse, given your vague knowledge of swiftie culture after years of dating the blond. the moment he told you paramore would be the openers, you tossed that compassion for other swifties out the window.

as you made your way to your seats, you felt a little uneasy, as if you didn’t quite fit in. the vibe was nice but different from what you were used to. it wasn’t until people started trading bracelets with you that you began to feel more comfortable. a beaming smile adorned finnick’s face at the sight of your arm full of traded bracelets.

as you eagerly awaited paramore’s performance, you could hear your boyfriend’s gasps and hums of approval at other swifties’ outfits. once or twice, he pointed at someone and said “next time, we should dress up like that.” whenever someone complimented your outfit, he couldn’t help but cheerfully announce that they were handmade. but in reality, finnick’s outfit was a total spotlight stealer, so much dedication had gone into it. the colorful jacket gleamed in the sunlight reflecting off the beads. he had brought a ringmaster cane too, but sadly it was confiscated by security. he apologized profusely and promised the people behind him that he would remove his hat before the concert started, even before they had a chance to complain.

by the time paramore was midway through their set, you had already sung your heart out. you had danced like no one was watching during ‘hard times’, screamed ‘misery business’, and jumped while singing ‘still into you’ to finnick. when taylor took the stage, you were still so hyped up that you danced and sang (the few songs you knew) along with everyone else. you didn’t miss the glimmer in finnick’s eye as you danced so freely during the reputation era, or the sheer brightness on his face for being at a concert of an artist he so dearly adores. that look made everything worth it, a warm sensation overpowered your chest and you remembered once again why your heart truly and hopelessly belonged to him.

Tonight was the night.

You and Michael had managed to get tickets for the Paris Eras Tour show, and there had been next to nothing you were more excited for. It had nearly topped Michael’s excitement over his own upcoming tour, and that was a feat to behold. However, you had no idea that there would be more surprises to come that night. As classic as it was, you both were going with the “Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince” costumes, feeling it was appropriate. You were both so happy with the way that the outfits had come out, and were nearly bouncing off the walls with excitement as you woke up that morning. 

Concerts were obviously a big part of your life, with your boyfriend being in a band and being on tour a lot. Even before meeting him you had always loved live music, and with everything being shut down for so long, you were excited to finally get back to it, especially in such a big way with seeing Taylor Swift. The pre-show anxiety was always really heavy but you were so ready this time that it outweighed it. You had spent weeks planning out how you were going to do every little thing, and unbeknownst to you, so had Michael, just in his own little ways. 

You had both followed all of the shows so far, seeing all of the surprise songs, groaning at losses of your favorites but cheering at some of the ones that had remained safe. The small amount of Reputation and Lover songs being played as surprise songs worried you a little bit that they wouldn’t be played at your show, but you knew that you’d love whatever you did get as your songs. Besides, you were seeing her in Paris, so you were insanely lucky to even get to go, and you couldn’t really complain. 

Waking up in the hotel room that morning, you’d normally want to spend some time curled up, cuddling with Michael, having those sweet, soft, early-morning moments, but not today. You wanted to be ready, as quickly as possible. You had lower bowl tickets, so you didn’t have to get in line or anything for your seats, because there was no pit at the shows, it was all seated, which took a lot of stress off of you. However, you still wanted to be ready as soon as you could because you wanted good photos before you looked like a wreck, a good spot in merch lines, and more. 

Michael was just as ready, he had actually been up before you, practically up before the sun was. He had big plans today, and didn’t want to risk you finding out anything about it, knowing that it would ruin his entire surprise. So, he pawned it off as just pure excitement for the show, knowing that you, also being insanely upbeat, would take it as a response easily. Which was exactly what he told you when you asked why he had been up for hours already, quietly slipping the small black box into his back pocket until he could move it to a safer spot without you seeing. 

Yes, he was planning to propose. He wanted to do it at just the right time, but he hadn’t figured out when yet. He knew that he was doing it at some point that night, hoping for a really fitting surprise song so that he could do it then, but if they didn’t get a fitting love song and instead got a sad song, he would do it during Bejeweled, most likely. He felt like the jewels fit the scenario of him giving you a ring, and he couldn’t keep the smile off of his face as he thought about. 

Somehow he was able to keep it a secret for almost a month now, not having told anyone, including his band. This was just a you thing, something very special to you and him, and he wanted to keep it that way as long as he possibly could. So, he tried his best to make sure that nothing slipped through the cracks, and he had succeeded so far. He knew this was going to be the best night of his life, because while he was very anxious about asking you to marry him, he knew deep down that you would say yes. 

The time between getting ready and leaving for the show passed so quickly, spending nearly the whole time laughing with each other, talking, doing makeup, and making sure that you ate beforehand. Concerts were very draining in energy, so you made sure you water, and all of your items in your clear bag, including bracelets that didn’t fit on your wrists, portable chargers, hair ties, and more random things you decided you might need. Being with Michael, who was fairly forgetful, you had become the master of “just in case”. You finally left, the excitement continuing to build and build as you got closer to the venue.

The show was going amazingly. You were nearly to the surprise song part, having a wonderful time. You’d traded armfuls of bracelets, knowing that they were possibly cutting into your circulation but just not caring. You were having way too much fun to spend time worrying about it, and you couldn’t even deal with the feeling of anticipation when you realized the last song before the surprise songs were starting. Michael was planning to pop the question during the second one, hoping for two love songs. The grin on his face nearly split wide open when he heard the opening notes of “Mine”, his hope flaring. 

The both of you spent the song wrapped up in each other, singing your hearts out, you were crying at some point, both from joy, love, and maybe a mixture of other things that you couldn’t decipher, but you still were having the time of your life. Your hand brushed against Michael’s back pocket, eyebrows furrowing in question as you wondered what he could have in there, considering that it was lumpy. But, as Taylor began speaking before introducing the next surprise song, you didn’t think about it any more. Michael didn’t think that the night could get more perfect or that his luck could’ve gotten any better when the first verse hit his ears. Clearly, the universe was on his side. 

“The moon was high, like your friends were the night that we first met…” 

You screamed in delight, holding onto Michael’s hand as you jumped around, dancing, singing, placing a kiss on his cheek, absolutely losing your mind but in a good way. You were so caught up in the moment that you didn’t notice Michael’s hand slipping from your grip, nor did you notice him crouching down, dropping to a knee. The people around you noticed first, shaking your shoulder and screaming, pointing at him. You turned to look, the tears flowing even harder as you realized what was happening. 

“I can’t give a speech here, but will you marry me?”

“Michael!” 

His face was so red under the lights, blush creeping down to his neck as he anxiously awaited your answer. You frantically nodded, just being able to get out a “Yes!” between the sobs. He slipped the ring onto your finger, standing up and kissing you. As you broke apart, you smiled, him wiping the tears off of your face, his smile getting even bigger as you spoke, looking at the ring. 

“Just so you know, I would’ve said yes to a paper ring.”

this is entirely self indulgent LMAO but here's how the characters would be @ the eras tour.

zen would love the concert. while he may not listen to all of her music, he very much enjoyed the entire set and especially loved how happy you were to be there. probably wouldn't join in on any of the chants or trade any bracelets, but instead looks at you with a smile every time you do. definitely takes a lot of pictures of you, and taylor, and then the both of you because your matching outfits are just the cutest. his favorite era would either be lover-- he can't help but look at you throughout the entirety of lover-- or 1989, because the visuals and the sound just completely enrapture him.

yoosung would just be happy to be there! knows her earlier stuff, but doesn't really know anything beyond 1989. goes feral over the fearless era, and screams almost as loud as you along to love story. if there's a proposal at your concert, you can bet he'd be crying while witnessing it-- and also a little jealous that he didn't think of the same idea. poor boy almost dies during vigilante shit-- his face is redder than a tomato and he chokes on his spit as he tries to look anywhere but the stage. you take many photos of this.

saeyoung is almost as excited as you are. he lives for anything that lets him dress up. he sat there making hundreds of friendship bracelets for you, spent hours shopping both online and in person for the perfect matching outfits, learned every chant and every song so he could fully enjoy the experience with you. and he did! however, any video anyone within five feet of him took would be unusable because he'd he screaming at the top of his lungs. holds you close during the lover and speak now era and definitely cries at one point during the show. fills up the entirety of his phone storage with only pictures and videos of you and him or just you.

jumin is. not having a good time. LMAO this man doesn't like huge crowds like that, and doesn't know most of the songs and craves the quiet comfort of his home. however, one look at you has him relaxing and a small, soft smile taking over his tense features. this was entirely for you, of course, and seeing you so happy and excited was enough to quiet any discomfort he might've felt. doesn't take any photos or videos, but he'll let you pull him down for selfies. the only video he has from that night is the one you sent to him of him kissing the crown of your head during lover.

jaehee is just excited to be there with you! she's a casual fan of taylor swift-- she doesn't really fangirl over anyone that's not zen-- so she probably won't know any of the chants, and definitely won't trade any bracelets, but she'll happily dress up with you. sings along under her breath to the songs that she knows, and just nods along to the ones that she doesn't. really likes the midnights era- and especially vigilante shit. blushes whenever you hold her hand or kiss her cheek or sing to her during the love songs. she takes one or two photos.

saeran absolutely refuses to go with you at first. attending a three and a half hour concert with thousands of people attending sounds like his own personal hell, but when you go to ask saeyoung to accompany you, saeran finally relents. "fine!" he'll grumble, "no need to ask my idiot brother. i'll go with you." you...hadn't suggested that to make him change his mind, but. a win is a win! he doesn't do any of the chants or any of the bracelets, and doesn't dress up. (or, at least, he doesn't wear anything he wouldn't usually wear, but. it's looks pretty reputation era, so you're happy.) despite his grumbling and his anxiety, saeran really did love seeing you so happy and carefree. is surprised by how much he enjoyed the reputation era, and ignores your smug look as he adds the songs to his playlist later on. refuses to take any pictures or videos, and will only be in a few for you.

Lover House & "Lost Album"

Did the Lover house hint to the lost album / Karma?

(i don't know if this has been talked about before)

When the Lover music video was released, Folklore & Evermore were not made yet (although who knows with taylor she could have had the idea already) and were made during the pandemic.

when taylor swift climbs the stairs to the Reputation attic, she passes through a closet / wardrobe of what looks to be un-worn yellow outfits.

To get to reputation she'd have to pass through karma

this room only lights up once she passes through it, and dims when she is not in it with different outfits? that have faded in color.

but the basket in the corner makes me think forward to the Karma music video, and Dorothy in the wizard of Oz with her basket. (basket to also keep all her easter eggs haha) While Taylor doesn't have a basket in the video of Karma on the YELLOW brick road, it is associated with Dorothy. Karma could be a fantastical world to Taylor that did / didn't really happen. If Karma is like the land of Oz, and Taylor plays by the books rather than the film, then: According to the Oz books, Oz it is a hidden fairyland cut off from the rest of the world by the Deadly Desert.

so translated, Karma is a hidden album cut off from the rest of the albums.... + there is a briefcase in this room like she had to pack up and leave this album / era.

In the Karma Music Video NEXT to the yellow brick road is what looks to be THE DEADLY DESERT. Anything living that touches it; turns to sand..." or disappears, like the "lost album/karma" And Taylor blows sand on to the 3 reapers.

i believe the 3 reapers represent the 3 characters, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow from Oz. But in reaper form they are death.

A character known as the Grim Reaper causes the victim's death by coming to collect that person's soul.

Death to her albums / collecting the souls of her albums / the souls of her...

MAYBE a reference to Harry Potter and creating the Deathly Hallows, or becoming the master of Death.

That requires 3 things created by death: the cloak, the resurrection stone and the wand.

Taylor said in Time Magazine she's collecting her stolen albums like Horcruxes and Infinity Stones.

I dont know, but Taylor may have all 3 things. She wears the cloak in The Bejeweled Music Video, She Has all the Gems on in Bejeweled (the resurection stone / infinty stones ) AND is the WAND her QUILL?

At her recent Miami concerts starting on NIGHT 2 she started playing Behind The Scenes footage never seen before from Karma, Bejeweled, I Can See You and Fortnight music videos. The first 3 being based around her recovering her stolen albums and Fortnight being the definition of 2 weeks. + In the song Fortnight she mentions "Til' nobody noticed my new aesthetic" her NEW aesthetic now, being she isn't using the TTPD photo grey-ish filter on her front cover photos on instagram? They are VERY colorful

(2 Albums, although could be Debut / Rep being the final to reclaim/ a debutation album drop, cause of them playing on night 1, pictures of taylor in her Taylor Swift (debut) era and baby Fearless era)

OR COULD reputation VAULT tracks be the link to the supposed karma / lost album. In her Time Magazine article she says the reputation vault tracks will be FIRE. The color of FIRE is Yellow/Orange.

They arrive at their seats in the stadium, closer to the stage than either sister could have ever dreamed of, after a quick food break after the opening acts. They weren’t floor seats, but they were guaranteed to have the best view of their favorite artist since the age of 14 – Taylor Swift. 

Thanks to Ethan giving Gen his Capital One card, and Tobias letting her spend hours in the queue while going over patient files. 

Both Genevieve and Natalie had gone all out for the concert. Dressing in outfits related to their favorite albums. Lover for Genevieve and Reputation for Natalie. One with a glitter heart around one eye and the other with a black glitter snake on her cheek. 

“I’m gonna cry. I can feel it.” Gen gives a weepy smile, watching the countdown clock on the stage tick away. 

“Honestly, me, too.” Natalie takes a sip of her water, holding back her own set of tears. 

“We’re at the fucking Era’s Tour. We’re about to see Taylor Freakin Swift in person! For the first time!” Genevieve turns to her sister, “I told mom we’d record Marjorie for her, and Bejeweled.” 

“Oh that’s right, that’s her new anthem.” Natalie laughs, then quickly sobers up. 

She’d been feeling nauseous all week, and at first she thought it was simply the anticipation of the show, her new leadership position at the salon. But now… 

“Are you okay?” Gen asks, concern on her face. “You’re drinking water and you never do that at something like this, and you’re weirdly emotional. Which is my thing.” 

“Yeah. Just been off all week.” 

Gen narrows her eyes, looking over her sister. “You’re pregnant.” 

“What?! Psh, no. No way.” 

“You are. Have you taken a test?” 

After a beat, Natalie sinks back in her chair, setting her water down on the ground. “No. I’m scared. Bryce and I got married a month ago.” 

“Why didn’t you say anything earlier!? We could have done it when we were getting ready?” 

“I don’t know. I just wanted to focus on the concert and not think about more impending responsibilities.” 

“Okay, that’s fair.” Gen smiles, resting a comforting hand on her sister’s arm. “How about on the way home, we stop and get a test and take it when we get back to your place? You’ll have an answer before bed and then you can talk to Bryce in the morning when I go home and he gets back from his shift.” 

“Yeah, okay. That’s a good idea.” Natalie lets out a sigh of relief, feeling a little more at ease. 

She kicks herself a little bit, for not talking to her sister about it earlier. Genevieve has always been her biggest support, since they met in their kindergarten class 25 years ago. Through every boyfriend they had, every obstacle and problem in their lives, college for Gen and cosmetology school for Natalie; they had been there for each other through it all. 

They may not be sisters by blood, but they were sisters in their hearts. 

“I’m gonna send Ethan a video of you crying as Taylor comes on stage.” Natalie snickers. 

“If you think my husband doesn’t already know that I’m about to cry for 3 and a half hours, you’d be wrong. He knows what he got himself into.” 

Suddenly, the lighting changes and the clock stops ticking. The opening notes ringing through the stadium, both women taking deep breaths and leaping from their seats. 

“Oh my god.” Gen grabs Natalie’s arm, holding it tightly as the tears begin to form.

“I’m gonna have no voice tomorrow.” 

It’s been a long time coming…

They stumbled into the Lahela apartment well past midnight, with tired feet, a bag full of concert merch and a smaller bag from the convenience store down the street. Both still on a high from the concert, and both eager to see if Natalie is pregnant. 

“You know, if that comes back positive, my niece or nephew’s first concert was Taylor Swift. As a fetus.” Gen laughs as she sits down on the couch, taking off her shoes. Her makeup is no doubt smudged from the ridiculous amount of crying she’d done, and the pink glitter heart on her face now looked more like a glitter circle. 

It was by far the best night of her life. 

Aside from her wedding, of course. 

Though, Gen was sure Ethan would understand if she placed tonight just slightly above their wedding. 

“You are ridiculous.” Natalie laughs from the kitchen, grabbing them two bottles of water from the fridge then taking the pregnancy test out of the plastic bag. “So, I’m just chugging this bottle and then peeing on this stick?” 

“Yes. That’s how it works.” 

“Don’t be sassy, Mrs Ramsey.” 

“It’s at the core of who I am, Mrs. Lahela.” 

Natalie blushes, and smiles, walking over to meet her sister on the couch. “That still sounds wild to me. Like, I’m a wife.” 

“Yeah, took me a bit, too.” 

They sit in silence for a moment, both knowing Natalie is delaying the inevitable. 

“Go.”

“Fine.” Natalie gets up, walking over the the en suite in her bedroom. There’s some rustling then her voice echoes from the other side of the closed door. “I think my anxiety just shot to the moon.”

“Yeah. It’s a lot.” Gen takes another sip from her water bottle, texting Ethan then looking through the hundreds of photos she took that night. She sends her husband a couple different ones, smiling when he responds with three hearts and an I miss you, my love. I’m glad you had a good time. 

“Okay,” Natalie comes out of the bedroom, pregnancy test in hand. She drops it on the coffee table and plops down on the couch beside her sister. “Gonna be the longest two minutes of my life.” 

“Yeah, when Ethan and I had that scare over the summer it was nerve racking.” 

“How did,” Natalie pauses, searching for the right words. “How did you guys handle that? The possibility of being pregnant before you had planned. Bryce and I wanted to wait a little longer, but…” 

Gen reaches for her sister's hand, squeezing it. “It was scary, especially because he was ready and I wasn’t. But we just had an honest conversation. I told him I was scared and he reminded me that no matter the outcome he supported my decision.”

“Would you have… you know?”

“No.” She shakes her head, a soft smile on her face. “If the test had come back positive instead of negative I would have kept it. Because at the end of the day, I want to have kids with him, and maybe that may not have been exactly when I wanted it but I knew that no matter what Ethan was by my side. We’re a team, like you and Bryce.” 

“That’s true.” 

“So, no matter what this test is about to say, I’m sure Bryce will be supportive.”

“He’s the best.” A dreamy look comes across Natalie’s face, the same look that she’s pointed out that Gen has had from time to time. 

The face of someone thinking of their love and knowing it’s the greatest thing in the world. 

The timer on Natalie’s phone goes off, and they both take a deep breath.

“Here we go.” Nat reaches for the test, and her eyes immediately become flooded with tears. “Oh my god,” her voice is no more than a whisper. Her hands shaking as she stares down at the piece of blue and white plastic.

“Let me see,” Gen takes the test from her sister’s hand, a soft giggle coming from her lips. “Sissy…” 

“I hope fetus Lahela liked the concert.” She jokes through happy tears before both scream in excitement. 

It was the beginning of a new era.

Hyde attending Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour? More likely than you'd think...

Like many others, I share the head-canon that Jackie would be a Swiftie. I can see Jackie getting ready to attend The Eras Tour with a Lover-themed outfit (because let's be honest, that would definitely be her favorite Taylor Swift album), 13 painted across her hand, and Taylor's signature Eras-coordinated nails.

In 2023, Jackie's and Hyde's kids would be grown adults at this point, and I'm sure at least one of them would also be a Swiftie. So obviously, her kid(s) would be attending the concert with her. And you know, so would Hyde...willingly, too.

Okay, hear me out. I'm not calling Hyde a Swiftie - he most definitely is not. None of Taylor Swift's multi-genred catalogue aligns with Hyde's personal taste in music. But after being with Jackie for so long, I think he would have softened his criticism on her taste in music. More than that, although he may not necessarily enjoy Taylor Swift's music or the way Jackie plays it on repeat ad nauseum in the weeks building up to their show, I do think that Hyde would respect Taylor Swift as a songwriter, musician, and businesswoman in the music industry.

So whereas back in the day he never would've attended an ABBA concert with Jackie, when she asks him if he will go the Taylor Swift show with him 40 years in the future, he says yes and is surprised that he doesn't hate the idea.

And at the concert, Hyde won't be able to help the knowing look he exchanges with Jackie during Cruel Summer as they both think back to that first summer they hooked-up. And if Mine* and Paper Rings end up being the surprise songs as their shows, Hyde won't be able to help the way those songs tug on his heart as he is reminded of his decades-long history with Jackie.

*Taylor has already played Mine as a surprise song with Would've Could've Should've in Nashville...however, she did mess up the lyrics in Mine, which means that it is still possible that Jackie and Hyde could hear Cruel Summer, Mine, and Paper Rings in my imagination (lol).

From The Wardrobe Of Taylor Swift: The Art Of Dressing To Communicate Meaning And Reflect Your Era

Taylor Swift kicked off The Eras Tour on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This all-stadium concert tour is predicted to be one of the most memorable events in history. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Swift was unable to tour for three of her latest studio albums: Lover (2019), Folklore (2020), and Evermore (2020). So, The Eras Tour is a celebration of all of her albums, including her latest release Midnights (2022). On Good Morning America, Swift described the headlining tour as "a journey through all of [her] musical eras." This statement promises an unforgettable performance and a diverse culmination of all her best hits (while still reminiscing the nostalgia of her early years).

Just a day before opening night, Taylor released exclusive rehearsal photos on her Instagram and Twitter stating she was "In her Eras era." Taylor Swift is known for the way she signifies each of her distinct, individual "eras." Swifties are familiar with this concept, including the hidden messages and infamous Easter Eggs that can be found in her public interactions, song lyrics, music videos, and countless other places. One specific method she uses as an indicator of her current era (and to hint towards new music and upcoming events) is her wardrobe choices. She always shifts her style to match the "era" she currently considers herself in. This can be seen throughout her career as she always dresses in clothing that reflects the content of her most recent album. 

At the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, upon receiving four awards for All Too Well: The Short Film, Taylor Swift announced the upcoming release of Midnights. She made this iconic speech while wearing what fans would soon consider the most "Bejeweled'' dress of all time (hinting at one of the top tracks on the album). Surrounding this announcement, she showed up to events in other captivating outfits that were reflective of her "Midnights Era," featuring deep blues, embroidered stars, and glistening gems.

This has led Swifities who are attending her concerts to plan outfits aligning with one of Taylor's eras. Either by recreating an outfit that Taylor herself wore during a certain era, or by designing one that is based on lyrics, or that simply radiates the signature aura of an album. Fans are choosing the era they think will allow them to express themselves the most through their outfit, or that contains their favorite songs, or that they feel the most connected to. From complementing an outfit with cowboy boots for a nostalgic tribute to Debut, or with a flannel to allude to the cottage-core essence of Evermore, the possible style combinations are endless. There is no doubt The Eras Tour will produce a fashion collection entirely its own, hence "The Eras era."

Contemplating the ways we can dress to reflect who or what we are feeling at that moment isn't limited to an outfit for Taylor’s concert. We can adopt her methodical outfit coordination in our everyday lives. While we might not have a ground-breaking, industry-shaping album to hint towards, we can still cultivate a wardrobe that communicates meaning and personality. Our outfit choices are probably the simplest way we can express ourselves, and this opportunity is often overlooked. 

Our style is often indicative of what is most important to us at the time. It's part of who we are, it can help us stand out and even improve our confidence level. The related idea of developing an aesthetic to fit your personality, reflect what you're feeling, or convey meaning is currently trending on social media. These aesthetics are also referred to as "eras." When asked, someone might say they are in their "gym era" if they are passionate about exercise and are dressing to reflect this commitment. Others might say they're in their "sad girl era" or "studious era." If you're unsure on what aesthetic fits you best, a great first step would be to identify some of your defining personality traits and interests, then choose clothing that you feel communicates them. Finding inspiration from others' style or by creating mood boards on Pinterest is another effective way to get started. There are countless "What Era Do You Belong In?" articles and Buzzfeed quizzes that can also help inspire you if you feel stuck. Keep in mind that this is a completely subjective creative process, so feel free to design an aesthetic of your own if you can't find one that resonates with you. Determining your era is a form of self-discovery that paves the way for a greater form of self-expression. 

Taylor Swift’s artistic genius is made clear by her lyrical poetics and talent to create music that consistently tops the charts. But this stylistic expression can be found in other areas of her life, and her eloquent wardrobe is just one. This practice of curating outfits that denote where we are in life–as well as who we are and what we stand for–is one of the many things we can learn from Taylor. Not to mention, making this effort to dress intentionally to communicate meaning and purpose is an art form in itself. It allows us to intertwine creativity with our everyday life and provides us with a way to fashionably express ourselves through our appearance.

As a result, an acoustic version of "You Belong with Me" replaced the surprise song for the Australia and New Zealand leg of the tour, and then was rotated with other songs as surprise songs during the European and Asian leg of the tour.

However, the 60s pop remix version of "You Belong with Me" was performed again during shows in London.

The stage for the Red tour is when Swift really started getting creative with her stage designs and therefore, add a more evolved look to her live shows. In fact, the shape of the Red Tour stage is very unique, it is in a U shape, with two pits, divided by a catwalk within the U stage -> I have never designed a stage so I have no idea what I’m talking about I’m sure but… if you look at the stage and then read the description of the design it looks like armor or a set of doors.

**** A capo is a device that instantly changes a guitar's key by clamping down all the strings in a particular fret simultaneously, in effect creating a new nut. While it's always a good idea to have a capo on hand, it's an even better idea to know how to transpose keys in your head.

She has incorporated all the imagery, themes, costumes, etc that combines the stories of our childhood, but its the story of her childhood and youth and her story as a young woman that is shamed and has her name ran through the mud because of the trees… hollyWOOD. She posted the picture with the stars over the palm trees on 2/24/2019. She has a duet with Post Malone who has a song called “Hollywood is bleeding” her 4th album is called “Red” red is the color of blood. “Blood is thick, but nothing like a pay roll”. When I first discovered that picture of the stars over Hollywood I was reminded of a band.. Frankie Goes to Hollywood who made gay rights and sexuality a theme of their music and performances. -> “The Power of Love”

But the difference between her using themes from other stories being incorporated to her art is that she’s not alone in WoodVale. The New Romantics are there. The New Romantics movement is not new, but it was one of those things society tried to fade out… but like why?
