my self indulgent list of ideas/dynamics/plots i want to explore - yj edition

pretty much exactly what the title says - these are mostly basic, half-formed ideas that have rapid cycled through my brain so if anything sounds interesting, come yell at me ty. nothing here is exclusive, meaning if, in the unlikely event that more than one person is interested in the same idea, i'm more than fine to explore it with multiple muns/muses because i believe each version will be unique in their own ways. the list below is also non-exclusive and i might add things to it over time, so just because it's not here doesn't mean i'm not interested!! also ocs/canons from other media are equally welcome, we will figure something out

the 2 month gap between s1 and s2 in the 96 timeline - exploring a little more how they went from doomcoming to lottie leading the wilderness cult; was there ever a conversation about it with anyone?

lottie and travis over the years - it seems like trav was the only one who semi-stayed in touch with lottie, at least enough to be able to call her when he was in crisis (note: i don't view their relationship as romantic but it is Very Important to lottie)

honestly like... anyone around wiskayok? could be a canon character, could be an oc, but i imagine she's almost like an urban legend around the town. other than misty, she's the only one who's stayed local (as far as we know) but on the surface she leads such a very normal, boring life. idk i just think locals would be so weird about her lmfao

anyone she met in rehab, anyone she met in her addict circles, people who were around natalie at her lowest - who try and tempt her back, who want to see her succeed, former sponsors, people she's sponsored, etc.

something with adult tai tbh? especially in a reality where akilah is not a survivor, i just think there would be something really fucking interesting to dig into there given what we've seen of akilah and tai's relationship

any of the other adult survivors too - the complexity of resentment that they made it back when Akilah didn't, while also wanting to ask them what happened to her baby sister. wanting to blame them but also seeing the horrors reflected in their eyes and knowing she could never fully judge them for anything they had to do to survive

i think the above would be especially funny/complex/tragic with misty, who probably has all of khalida's info when she kept tabs on everyone else too. misty being someone who knows what khalida will always want to know: what really happened to akilah. and misty knowing she'll never tell the truth but enjoying the power that simply having that knowledge gives her. is that fucked up? maybe, but is it anything more fucked up than what the show has already shown? not really

Joe and Taylor traveled a loooot in the US, they traveled to all their little tropical destinations, they traveled to France, they traveled to Panama, they traveled to Croatia, they traveled extensively around the UK like... yes with the tour Trav and Tay will travel a bit more but idk.

My point was more outside the US and the UK. Even from the UK is very easy and fast to visit other european countries, even by just using the train. We know Joe visited Spain and Milan for example on his own, but I was just thinking about apart from that seems like they didn't travel as much. But I didn't follow her plane over the years and it's not like they wouldn't be able to travel unnoticed so who knows. I was checking that detailed timeline about them on Tumblr and I noticed there's several times the trip wasn't caught or the plane wasn't mentioned but then they showed up somewhere else so who knows

idk I think they liked beach holidays more than culture type holidays because it’s difficult to do the latter privately. I think if they’d gone on Lover tour they would’ve done done some more shit but like idk he was working for most of Rep tour so he couldn’t really do that and she did travel to a lot of/most of the places he filmed when they were living together and shit.

December 2024 - Part 3

December 17 & 18 - Photos posted to IG from a surprise party that Travis arranged for Taylor to congratulate her on her ERA's tour. The party held on December 9th was Eras themed with guests dressing up including Brittany Mohomes (x) paying homage to the Fearless Era and Partick dressing in hat and tails mimicking Travis on his Eras tour stage debut. The Haim sisters, Ashley Avignon (x), Scott, Andrea & Austin Swift, Donna Kelce, Ross Travis, Aric Jones (x) and various Chiefs teammates including Creed Humphrey, Rashee Rice and partner Dacoda (x) were in attendance. Travis even changed into his Eras tour costume for the event and presented Taylor with the final 22 hat!

Ashley Avignon and Jo-Jo Edwards-Helaire (Clyde's wife) confirm the party was a surprise for Taylor from Travis.

Travis is asked how his team mates handled the news that he was dating Taylor...

"no nobody really gave me [a hard time] no, really nobody knew what was going on really all over the place, we kind of kept it between us as much as we could but once she came to a game obviously it was all popping from there"

"you want to keep things private but at the same time I'm not here to hide anything, that's my girl you know what I mean that's my lady, I'm proud of that so it's like I'm not sitting here trying to juggle 'how can I keep this under wraps'. You just don't want to let everybody into your personal life and be able to comment on it knowing that everything she does is getting a headline."

When asked about what has been crazy as a result of dating Taylor Travis replies

"it's been cool, it's a different demographic than the NFL really so it's been cool to dabble in that and see her following, it's been fun.

"The Chiefs fans have turned into a lot of her fans or her fans have turned into Chiefs fans so I've had fun with just about every aspect of it. It's just when you're at home you want privacy and you don't always get that"

On supporting each other and Taylor going on to the field at the Super Bowl:

"she's very self-aware she understands situations and that's why I really started to really fall for her was how genuine she is around friends & family, it can get crazy for somebody with that much attention and she just keeps it so chill and so cool and because you know everyone's watching what hey what move

"The first game she came to against the Bears I was like 'hey yeah so I could probably set you up with everything' and she just walked right through the front door. There's no going down talking to security making sure that she gets to her [box seat] she just wants to be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody. She got Buu points for that. She's in the madness, she wants to be a part of it, she wants to support me and do things like that. She really won me over with that one though."

How's it been going to the concerts?

"dude the concerts are electric yeah they're electric and she just switched it up, she just came out with the new album so she Incorporated that into the new show, she's having fun up there so it's like I can enjoy seeing her in her element killing it on stage and I love the show man she's got bangers."

"I really started listening to Taylor's music when she came out with 1989 like I knew who she was before that, we were the same age we so through high school I knew who Taylor was as she was getting her career started. 1989 was where it really started to go crazy so I'm going to say Blank Space because that was the first one great song so I'm put that one at number one. "Number two; Cruel Summer is one of the ones she opens with at her show and when she comes out and it's just Electric in the stadium and then she goes into an absolute banger like that, I was fired up when that happened the first show I was ever at" "What would be my third?
