I feel like in every fantasy novel/game/movie/anime etc. if the party stops at a tavern they should first have a great time. Cozy fantasy setting. Mead is flowing, the meat keeps coming. But... Someone just happens to know one of the party members and know they're a freak. But to the rest of the party they are just another member of the family. And then a fight ensues.

Like... If they don't "fuck some shit up" in the tavern, a little rowdy fight, more for shits and giggles and then they get kicked out... What's the point?

Just me? Ok.

This is just an excerpt from "fanfiction" written by GRRM himself for the Suvudu cage match back in 2010. But I guess we can take it as canon that Jaime actually happens to be relatively popular among the smallfolk.

And I can actually easily picture Jaime being much nicer than most lords and ladies to tavern wenches and potboys, even before he lost his hand.
