Welcome to my page, I hope you will feel at home here.
📷 Photo taken by myself on the 12th of December 2024
Well where do I start?
I guess I should start by saying I’m 45 years young, autistic, I love all cats and I’m asexual. My pronouns are she/her, I share a flat with my wonderful partner and our 4 beautiful cats. I love my partner very dearly, she is actually the complete opposite to myself when it comes to her sexuality, this can at times make things a little tricky, but somehow we always manage to muddle through and make things work.
Growing up I’ve always found myself more drawn to femininity, I could go as far as to consider myself as an asexual lesbian, however I don't really like to put myself in a box. I believe boxes are best suited for cats
Despite being in my 40s, I would consider myself young minded, intelligent, and a person who has a good heart. I hate to see others around me struggle. I’m a big believer in always trying to boost people up, rather than to try and drag them down. I’d consider myself an empath as I tend to feel other peoples pain, which I guess can make me a bit of an emotional person at times.
Being autistic I tend to speak my mind, this can be a good and bad thing, as sometimes it helps others to understand me, but other times it just makes situations more awkward.
For years I have heavily masked, because of this it made it very difficult for me to say no to things. It’s only in the last year or so that I’ve actually started to put my own feelings first. Even then I still struggle with this a lot as I tend to be a bit of a people pleaser. This is something I’m still working to improve.
I’ve always been known for having a great sense of humour, in fact for many years I used to use humour as a defence mechanism. I found it always helped hide just how anxious and shy I was. If people are laughing, they are not noticing just how awkward you are. It’s only in the last couple of months that I’ve managed to stop doing this as much. I’ve been slowly trying to lower my mask a little bit by bit each day. I now use comfort items when out and about as a way of feeling more at ease.
Since I was a teenager I always wanted to get into photography, but back then I struggled and lacked any kind of direction to ever get things done. It’s only just now in the last year that I’ve found myself lucky enough to be able to buy myself a professional camera.
I’ve recently found myself drawn to collecting Blythe dolls, in fact I just love everything to do with them. If I’m being completely honest they have become a little bit of an obsession of mine. I originally found myself collecting Sylvanian families, but I think the only reason I got so heavily into collecting them, was because at the time I was growing up I wasn’t ever allowed any of them. Now don’t get me wrong, I still love my Sylvanians, but Blythes are were my heart is at. In fact I’ve only just recently bought myself a new sewing machine. My plans are to start making outfits for all my dolls. I also plan to collect all the tools needed to get into doll customisation. It’s something I’m feeling quite passionate about. I feel after many many years I might actually have found something I’m really into.
Between Blythe dolls, Sylvanians and Me to You bears (Tatty Teddies) I’ve found myself taking them out wherever I go, in fact I won’t leave the house without at least one doll and some kind of plush toy. I find having these comfort items take away any feelings of anxiety I might have and also removes the need to make idle conversion with strangers. (of course I’ll still chat to people, but now I don’t feel the need to turn everything into a joke).
People often tell me I have a great sense of imagination; some have even said my imagination seems to go beyond the normal limits of thinking. As I tend to go into a rumble offering so much detail when explaining different scenarios or situations that could or might occur. I guess I just have an overactive mind and vivid imagination.
Other hobbies and interests that I’ve enjoyed over the years are singing / song writing, poetry, quote creation, mixed martial arts, gaming, anime, TV shows, movies, drawing / painting, cooking and maintaining a tidy home.
I love making new friends, though this is something I’ve often struggled with at times as people who have gotten to know the real me have often taking advantage of my good nature. I must say I do love a good hug, hugs to me are like a blanket for the soul.
If there is one thing I’ve learnt it’s never try to reason with an idiot, they will just drag you down to their level and always win. That's because they are never willing to admit when they might be wrong.
Things that I dislike are; drunken men, creepy clowns / carnivals, but most of all giant moths with their big red evil looking eyes, black leather jackets and Tommy guns, I just don’t like the way they seem to always want to flap their giant wings in your face. They are like the baddies of butterflies. I’m pretty sure if they could they would slowly try to take over the world. (Well okay, I might be slightly exaggerating, but you get the idea.) I guess what I’m trying to say is, I don’t really like things fluttering so close to my face, that and they kind of look creepy.
Over time I’ve realised that life is full of many epic moments, and that failure just happens to be one of them, when this happens it’s often known as an “epicfail” When such a moment occurs cake can often be offered as a gift, usually this is done by friends, it’s their way of showing that someone still cares, and this is known as “failcake”. Failcake comes in lots of different colours, shapes and sizes. I personally like cakes, so failure is not such a bad thing :)
And finally I’ll end things with a quote I made many many eons ago.
"True greatness is not something to be seen, it’s something to be felt" – NH

a funfair date
pairing: bf! yunho x gf! reader
genre: fluff, slice of life
summary: you’ve been wanting to go to the funfair to relive your childhood. now that you’re with yunho, you can make even better memories with him.
word count: 2.5k (2,515)
warnings: uhh reader is a bit (maybe a lot) shy, yunho leaves (only for a bit!) and she feels a little anxious, bf! yunho understands her needs better than her, uhh anything else and there’d be no point in reading?😭 OH pet names: baby (overused i’m sorry😓), my love, honey, my precious baby
author’s note: this was very self indulgent lol. my first ever fic 😱 i’ve had so many ideas but this is the first that i actually fully wrote cos i just wanna go to the funfair rn and would it be so bad to go with yunho :/. anyways, hope you love it and i would appreciate feedback 😋 ALSO ignore any grammatical errors lmao i went back and forth so much trying to make it all present tense but my brain hurt :/ leave me alone regarding that lol. enjoyyy!
“one sec, baby, i’ll be right back.”
your eyes widen as your boyfriend leaves your side. you turn to view his retreating figure, too embarrassed because of the people behind you in line to call out to him.
“y-yunho…?” you murmur, confused and a bit anxious as to why he suddenly left you alone.
“next!”
it was hook a duck, a game at funfairs you played often and loved as a child. you were so excited to be here with yunho, wanting to experience the loud lights in the dark hours of winter at 5pm. yet now it seemed like you were going to do the first activity by yourself. you’re given the rod and you aim for a duck to latch onto. as you’re about to hook one on, yunho’s voice hits your ears causing you to knock into the duck you were about to catch. before the stand owner could sense a failure, you quickly hook your duck, smiling to the owner for your prize but then glaring at yunho for his interruption and his prior exit. he’s oblivious to this though, eyeing the prizes as if he had a choice.
“so, what would you like?”
you turn your face to the multitude of plushies that came in all sizes, yet you knew for this game you could only have a small one.
“hmmm…”
“baby, they have the me to you tatty teddy bear! you love those.”
it was true, for some reason that bear was precious to you since you were young and as much as you wanted to refute yunho because of your slight annoyance with him, you couldn’t deny your love for that specific teddy.
“i’ll have that one, please.”
“here you go.”
“thank you!” you beam at the owner before turning around, walking towards the rides with your teddy in tow.
“where on earth did you go? you left me all alone,” you pout at yunho with furrowed brows.
“i went to get this.” only now do you realise he was hiding his hands away from your vision. he shows you the cotton candy he got and you make a face.
“yunho, you know i don’t like that.”
he pouts back at you, “oh, i know baby, that’s why i got you this.”
that’s when you see what he was hiding with his other hand: a blue and red slushie. your desperation to continue being annoyed with him wasn’t as big as your need to have something sweet on your tongue, so you take the large cup from him and relish in the taste. he grins at you, happy to see you satisfied.
“thank you, yunho.”
“no worries, baby. where to next?”
you look around at the rides, pretending to wonder about what to first ride on when you knew you already had made a plan before your trip. yunho knew this too but pretends to wonder with you.
“how about the…”
“the…”
you giggle as you look at him with hearts in your eyes, “the miami trip ride?”
“perfect, baby. lead the way.”
you wrap your arm around his and walk towards the ride, yunho putting his cotton candy stick in the bin on the way. as you approach the line, the usual nerves overtake you. you sip on some of your slushie hoping to keep calm but yunho can sense your nervousness.
“hey. baby.”
“yeah?”
“i’m excited,” he smiles at you so wide his glasses bunch up on his nose.
despite your nerves, yunho’s words help you voice your own excitement, “me too! i can’t wait.” you smile at him, grateful for his grounding presence.
finally, you’re allowed access to the seats of the ride. yunho knew you didn’t like sitting next to strangers so he sits next to you whilst you sit on the end. as soon as everyone is seated, the ride starts, slowly at first and then building momentum, going faster and faster which caused your stomach to have butterflies every time the ride came rushing down. it wasn’t too high but you could still get an overall view of the park, allowing your mind to capture the full picture of the aesthetic of the funfair. soon, the ride comes to an end and yunho helps you out. you pick up your slushie from where you had placed it on the ground and grab yunho’s hand to lead him to the next ride, adrenaline coursing through you.
luckily there was space for more people to join so you and yunho were admitted into the tagada ride without having to wait in line.
you sit in the middle where there was space and the ride begins. similar to the other ride, you were going at a soft pace until the conductor wanted to shake things up and started making it spin faster, making more bumps occur. a few times your legs lift into the air with your arms held onto the railing behind you. to stop you from momentarily levitating, yunho placed one of his long legs over your lap, securing you in place. you may not admit it but this is what you wanted the outcome of this ride to be: you held by him. you heart flutters but you try not to let your giddiness at his action show too much. he seemed content with keeping you safe and that was enough for the both of you. some other people did fall and you felt bad for finding it funny so you tried to hide your face behind yunho’s shoulder. eventually, the fun was over and you both headed to the next ride, not as disorientated as everyone else.
you once again had yunho’s hand in yours and was about to beeline to the next ride when he pulls you back. it was a bit comic, the way your leg stuck out only to fall back into his arms.
“how about we take a five minute break, yeah?” he speaks into your ear. it tickles but you couldn’t help the smirk that falls over your features.
you face him. “why? you getting scared?”
he chuckles at you. “no, baby, just thinking we don’t wanna waste all our energy now and be too tired to enjoy the rest of our time.”
he looks at you knowingly and you lower your gaze to the side. he was talking about you of course, since you tended to get overexcited when you were happy and that led to early burnout.
“okay, let’s find a bench to sit on.”
due to it being the middle of winter, the cold bit at exposed fingertips and noses with a dark azure blanket covering the park, which meant there weren’t as many people at the funfair than there would have been during the summer. you didn’t mind this at all, savouring the music from the rides travelling through the air.
“come here, baby.” yunho wraps one of his arms around you to pull you closer.
“yunho, i’m about to sit on your lap!”
“so? sit on it.”
“nooo! people will see us.”
“and? we’re just tryna keep warm.”
“i’m warm enough,” you huff at him.
“i want you to be warm more than enough.”
you look at yunho’s face and see the sincerity in it. the bright lights surrounding you two reflect from his glasses, looking like he was shooting stars from his eyes.
“being here with you is more than enough. i’m content. even tho the weather is freezing, i feel warm when i’m with you.”
because of the cold, because of your words, whichever it was, a light pink tint crept upon yunho’s face. you wanted to kiss him, just a peck, maybe even on the nose but your awareness of other people made you hold back. just as you were about to turn to get up, yunho’s face drops to yours and places a sweet kiss on your lips. he lingers but not for long, speaking just a breath away from you, “i love you.” it was your turn to blush.
before your shyness could overtake you, yunho gets up holding your hand and leads you to the next ride.
“wait, how did you know this was next?”
“mmm, just had an inkling.” he winks at you and you shake your head laughing.
it was time for one of your all time childhood favourites.
after waiting in line for less than five minutes, you and yunho sit in a cart and push the barrier over yourselves to make sure you were secure so that you wouldn’t fall out. when everyone was ready, the ride came to life, with its blinding lights and powerful music. you start moving forward, going up and down as if riding the waves of a smooth ocean. it starts to pick up pace and after a few minutes, your cart begins spinning, turning side to side. it felt like you were in a chaotic ballroom, where the moves were the same but harsher and with upbeat tunes. you fight to keep your eyes open, the intensity making you want to just snuggle against yunho. but you keep your hands on the handle and continue to enjoy the ride.
when it ends, you have to hold onto yunho for support, feeling a bit dizzy. he grasps your waist as he gets you both out of the ride and back on the ground.
“wow.”
“you okay, baby?”
“yeah, that was … a lot than i remember. but i’m okay! but… can we sit down… heh…?”
“of course we can, my love.” yunho smiles as he guides you to the bench you were sat on previously. he didn’t sit down with you, choosing to stand with his arms crossed, looking around as you gather your senses.
“hey, baby. how bout we go on the teacups?” he quirks an eyebrow.
“the teacups?” they aren’t a part of your plan, yet you don’t want to say no either. if you ride them for a bit, it would allow you more time to spend with yunho, and that was the whole point of today. “okay, help me up.”
he grabs both of your hands and then you make your way to the multicoloured teacups awaiting someone to sit in them.
it was getting late, meaning no children were scrambling to get on and you guessed maybe the remaining adults didn’t want to ride a stereotypical children’s ride, which was a bonus for you.
“go on, baby, go pick one.”
you didn’t think about it and just walked until you felt satisfied.
“i see, your favourite colour, honey.”
“oh. oh yeah.” maybe that’s why the green one felt right to you.
the teacups started moving and the whole ride was relatively slow, but that didn’t bother you as you felt calm. you and yunho spin your own teacup for a bit of fun but you mainly enjoyed each other’s presence, basking in the warm glow of the lights above.
it ends sooner than you expect. you drag your tired legs from the teacup and hold yunho’s hand as you both get off the ride. it was time for the next phase of your plan but it didn’t feel right to carry out yet. you didn’t know what to do in the meantime, eyes desperately flicking between the stands and rides that surrounded you.
yunho gasps, which scares you. “what?”
he points at a truck towards his left, a little closer to the end of the park. “churros.”
“oh,” you sigh in relief. “you want some?”
“do you?”
“hmm, yeah actually. let’s get some.” you smile up at him as you hold onto his arm, making your way there.
once you acquire the churros with the accompanying chocolate dip, you feel it’s the right moment.
“yunho, let’s have these whilst we ride the ferris wheel.”
he looks at you with a mixture of surprise and awe. “baby, that’s such a good idea. let’s go.”
finally, the last stop of the day. there were a few other couples getting on the ferris wheel as well, which annoyed you slightly, but you were grateful for the ride conductor for spacing out the people between the carts.
you get in with yunho and your churros, sitting down facing each other. at first, you sit in silence, the pair of you quietly enjoying the sweet treat, occasionally looking out down below. once you finish eating, you could only stare at yunho. shyness crept upon you for a second time that day and you try to avoid eye contact with him. you wanted this alone time together but could hardly handle being alone with him so intimately, let alone initiate anything.
yunho continues to look at your flustered figure, noticing how stiff your body was compared to you eyes flittering all around the cart. he tilts his head with a light smile, finding it cute how hot and bothered you became around him.
without a word, he pulls you onto his lap. you were about to pull away but this only made him hold you closer.
“shh, baby. we’re all alone. we’ll be fine.”
as he said that, the cart stops and you look out the window to see you were at the very top. just like you wanted.
yunho could sense you were too shy to make a move you had planned to make so he wanted to help you. he moves his face to yours so he could look straight into your eyes. you felt yourself warm up, contrary to the weather outside. holding onto his collar, you make yourself look back into his eyes, even if that had you slightly quivering.
“baby,” he speaks on your lips and your eyelids flutter. you will yourself to not shut them completely, resuming the staring contest.
he smiles against you. “ba-“ before he could finish the word, you press you face to his to close the gap, lightly kissing him. after a few (very long) seconds, you pull away, your eyes wide as if you didn’t expect yourself to make the first move. but you did, and yunho was so proud of you.
“my precious baby, kissing me first, hm?” you were ready to hide your face in his chest but he places his hands on your cheeks to keep you in place. “i loved it, should do it more often.” you whine at his words but you both knew how much that filled you with confidence.
the ride starts again, taking you down to the surface where you would have to depart. you wrap you arms around yunho’s neck and whisper in his ear, “i love you, yunho.” even though you were the only ones who would have heard it, your soft voice highlights the vulnerability you feel in the moment.
“i know, baby. i love you too.”
as you near the bottom, yunho gently places you on the seat you were sitting on opposite him and soon the doors open. you look at each other as you have everything you needed, walking out with your hands entwined and your tatty teddy bear in the other.

The Bratty Belle
Chapter 1
Summary: You’ve just moved to the city and want to get to know your new neighbours. One very snarky and very handsome one in particular presents you with a challenge.
WC: 2k
After spending all day unpacking, you finally sat down to observe your new surroundings: you’d kept most of your old furniture, like the vanity table perched in the corner along with your beloved princess bed- complete with an intricately carved wooden headboard. The room was pleasantly familiar beside the new addition of white chiffon curtains that hung around your bed, shrouding you in a comforting cocoon. You let out a dreamy sigh, fiddling with the numerous pillows and plushies littered all over your plush bedding. You might be old enough to move to the big city and have your own condo, but you’ll still cuddle your tatty old teddy to sleep.
Peering out the window, you observe the neighbouring houses strewn along the street opposite, a green meadow separating the complexes. Most of them had a door and mailbox per floor, signifying that a different person resided on each of the levels. The same could not be said, however, for the last house at the very end of the street, which stood detached and boasted a single entryway. It was the only house you could see into being that it was directly opposite yours- unlike the other condos, which joined together in rows a little further up the road. You’d only moved in 2 days ago but noticed that the blinds were shut and the lights always remained off. Maybe no one lived there?
As a reward for your gruelling work unpacking, you took some candy along with your sketchpad and headed out to the field outside your new home. Deciding against another layer over your pink mini dress, you grabbed a picnic blanket and staked out the perfect spot - cosy and tucked away so that the neighbours down the road wouldn’t notice you. Your feet kicked the air playfully as you doodled the flowers in your line of sight, humming contentedly with a cherry-flavoured lollipop hanging from your lips. You were so engrossed in your sketch that you almost didn’t notice the shadow looming over you, blocking the warm sunlight.
“Who are you?” A tall man with dark features frowned at you and you looked up, mirroring his frown.
“I don’t talk to strangers.” You huffed, returning your attention to your notebook. That wasn’t strictly true- you were bubbly and befriended anyone who would have you but this man in particular intimidated you.
“What are you, ten?” He scoffed and raised his thick eyebrows, forehead wrinkles deepening.
Much to your annoyance, you could sense that he wasn’t leaving before he got a satisfactory response - so you put your pencil down and looked up at him again. His cerulean blue eyes shone so brightly they practically twinkled and a sharp spark flew through your heart at the sight. Rugged, almost-black hair choppily framed his chiselled face, which had smudges of dirt and sweat flecking his tanned skin. A manual labourer, perhaps?
“I’m Bunny. Jus’ moved in over there.” You turn around and point at the apartment behind you. “And you are?”
“Happy to see you.” His deep, raspy voice replied teasingly.
“I meant your name.” You corrected him snappily.
“My real one or a fake one like you just gave me?” You pout your lips; you didn’t like his sharp tongue.
“I’m James. James Kelly.” He said after a while of staring at your scrunched-up face. “I’ll call you by your stupid pet name if you crave affection that badly.”
Your mouth gaped open at his callous words and you felt as though you’d been unmasked. It was undoubtedly pathetic but the truth was you considered your first name to be too harsh, too cold. You much preferred being sensitively referred to by an affectionate pet name- one that people often didn’t realise they were being duped into using, assuming it was real. But not him.
“You won’t get the opportunity to use it, I’ll make sure of that.” You crossed your arms and furrowed your brows.
“Well you’re just a little ball of anger aren’t you?” He chuckled, finding your short temper adorable. “Very tense for one so young.”
“And you’re very nosy for one so old.” You gather your colouring pencils into your fluffy pencil case, your creative inspiration rattled by his presence. You surmised that he was at least 10 years your senior; his hands looked weathered but still supple, his crows feet visible but not yet entrenched.
“Hey, you don’t have to move, I’m leaving.” He protests but you’re already on your feet. “Alright moody, suit yourself.”
You shoot him a displeased look as you clutch your sketchpad tightly against your chest, turning your back to him and taking a step forward.
“By the way.” He adds and you halt tentatively. “You should really wear a longer dress if you’re gonna be laying down like that. I could see your panties.”
Your cheeks flush a burning red and you screw your eyes shut in embarrassment.
“They’re cute though. I like the strawberry print.” You can feel his grin beaming through his words and you want nothing more than to run away and never see his stupid handsome face again.
“Leave me alone.” You attempt to say confidently but it comes out as more of a squeak. You tried to walk off with as much dignity as you could manage under the pressure of his burning gaze but you ended up frantically skipping back, wanting to go home and bury your face in your pillows as soon as possible.
“What a rude man.” You thought. “Rude and irritatingly attractive.”
Later that evening, you took it upon yourself to bake several lots of chocolate chip cookies- eager to use them as a way of getting into your new neighbour’s good graces since you lived off a steady diet of praise and compliments. You separated the different batches and ordered them into various paper bags, each lovingly wrapped with a ribbon and placed delicately into a woven wicker basket. Glancing into the mirror before you set off, you manoeuvred your lace-trimmed tank top down a little to accentuate your cleavage- you loved to watch men struggle to maintain eye contact with you.
After determining your chest looked too bare, you bounded over to the bedroom to retrieve your favourite necklace- a dainty silver rabbit pendant. As you fiddled with the clasp, something out of the window caught your eye- you noticed that the house usually shrouded in darkness had a glimmer of light peeking through its half-opened blinds.
Curiosity inevitably got the better of you so you grabbed your baked goods and made a beeline to the dark house, intrigued by the prospect of who its resident might be.
Clearing your throat and brushing some creases out of your skirt, you press the sooty doorbell and hope your mystery neighbour is in a sociable mood. The hopeful smile is wiped off your face when the door opens and you see the same rude man from this morning before you.
“Look at that! My very own girl scout.” He laughs incredulously and you form a face of disgust.
“It’s you.” You recoiled.
“Try saying that with less repulsion.” He retaliated, eyes flicking between your frowning face, your tits and the basket of cookies. “Coming to a man’s house and being disappointed that he lives there. That a hobby of yours?”
“N-no, I didn’t know who lived here.” You stuttered, taking in the sight before you: he must’ve just gotten out the shower as his hair was dripping wet and his shirt unbuttoned, a silver cross necklace dangling over his collarbones and positioned between his firm pecs.
“Thought you said you don’t talk to strangers, let alone turn up at their house.” He cocked his head to the side, leaning against his doorframe. “Uninvited, at that.”
“I don’t. At least not the rude ones who make comments about a girl’s underwear.” You retorted petulantly.
“Hey, that was me looking out for you. Don’t know what kind of pervs live ‘round here- they could take advantage of a girl like you. Those for me?” He points at the basket.
“I-I guess.” You go to take out one bag but he snatches the whole basket. “What do you mean a girl like me?”
“Oh you know-“ He speaks casually, mouth half full of his first helping of baked goods already. “Ditzy. Spoilt and naive.”
You huff in disbelief- you’d hardly had two conversations with the guy and he’d managed to insult you several times already.
“Don’t get offended, princess. I’m sure you’re not used to people speaking so candidly with you but welcome to the real world.” He makes a face indicating that he was impressed with your confectionary, licking the crumbs off his fingers. “This your first time living away from home?” He points his second cookie at your face before stuffing that in his mouth too.
“Uh, yeah.” You drawl, confused. What planet was this guy from?
“Alone?” He lowers his voice, staring hungrily into your eyes.
“Yeah.” You squeak, wondering why your confidence had abandoned you.
“Shouldn’t have told me that.” He sneered. “I could be a predator and you’ve just armed me with the knowledge that you have no one to protect you.” His eyes look crazed and you get the sense that he got a kick out of playing around with you.
“Well, are you?” You reply unamused and he drops the act, looking at you through squinted discerning eyes.
“Mm, no.” He sniffed. “Haven’t got the stomach for it. Great cookies, by the way. You’re quite the little baker.”
You can’t resist the smile that creeps up on your face, delighted with his approval. “I try.” You humbly gleam, teetering on your tiptoes.
“Aw, you actually look sort of pretty when you’re not scowling.” Your glowing face drops in an instant, marred by his insult.
“Sort of?”
“Yeah. Like in an endearing but bratty child kind of way.” He notices your sullen face, tensed up with disapproval and confusion. “You’re not really my type, sweetheart.”
“Y-you’re not mine either!” You spit out a little too fast.
“The only difference is I don’t care.” He snorts and you remain in stunned silence, your ego bruised beyond words. “What’s the matter? Never had a man uninterested in you? Come in, I’ll make you a consolatory coffee.”
He gestures for you to enter and you walk in cautiously, following his lead to the lounge. His house was minimalist, fitted with sleek black furniture and a surprisingly clean kitchen at the other end of the living room.
“I don’t drink coffee. And what is your type then?” You sink down onto his leather armchair and cross your arms.
“I like a more mature, developed woman.” You look down at your large round breasts. “I meant emotionally.” He adds before you can say anything.
“I’m plenty mature.” You think grumpily. You knew better than to base your self-worth on the validation of a man but goddamn it, you wanted him to like you even if you didn’t like him.
“My type is also mature men.” You countered haughtily.
“I don’t recall asking.” He pours himself a coffee and sits down opposite you, continuing to steal glances at your chest.
“I also like them wealthy.” You add, spurred on by his disaffection.
“Like your daddy?” He smirks as he takes a sip and you scowl at him.
“Oh no, not the frown again.” He falters mockingly. “If looks could kill…you know Bunny, you shouldn’t let things get to you so easily.”
“Can’t help it. I’m sensitive.” You mumble half-mindedly, preoccupied with plotting all the ways in which you could seduce him. You tried to have self-respect, you really did, but it was just so hard. Especially when you’d just been dealt such an unprecedently juicy challenge; a man who didn’t want to sleep with you? It was practically unheard of and you humbly decided you would take it upon yourself to cure him of this affliction.

Happy Gortoween everybody. Thanks @gortash-week for all the food!
Sweet Thing
Modern AU verse Durgetash. Prompts: Costume party, sweet delights, the devil you know. CW implied feederism and coercion.
(This is basically fluff for me.)
“Come on. We’re going out.”
He’s drunk, because of course he is, though he’s not sweating enough yet to have moved onto anything harder. Manva moves to shut the door, but he catches it and moves past her before she has a chance.
“I’m not going anywhere. It’s late.”
“It’s bloody nine-thirty! What is it with your generation. You’re tucking yourself in with your teddies by nightfall.”
“I have a class at six tomorrow.”
“Christ. I didn’t think students got up for anything before ten.”
“A Pilates class, not a class-class.”
She’s already exhausted by his presence. Decked out head-to-toe in black, his hair pushed back and the only hint of colour an ugly pair of red-tipped boots that must have been some designer’s idea of a joke, he strides through the grey of the studio apartment like a fly across a fruit bowl.
“Come on,” he says again as he opens up the fridge and takes out one of her sparkling waters. “Get something black and slinky on and let’s pop out. I’ll have you back by midnight, promise.”
He walks back to her, slipping a hand over her waist, his thumb pushing past the fabric of her vest. There is a smile playing at the edge of his lips, and she knows why. He has already won, and they both know it.
He calls a cab and takes them into old soho, the backstreets of the city that heroically resist the lure of gentrification. They stop down an alley with one illuminated door with missing letters, and she follows him down a narrow staircase that leads to a tatty looking retro diner. There is a DJ feebly playing generic fifties music, and they are led by a lone waiter to the far corner of a tacky, tattered old red Formica booth. She had worried that she was underdressed; the only black clothes she had in her wardrobe was a two piece Lycra workout set, but as she shrugs off her coat she only thinks of how the plastic seats will stick to her arms.
“This can’t be what you’re all dressed up for,” she says as she fingers a sticky menu on the table.
“I’m going on,” he explains as he pulls out a cigarette. “Lady Jannath’s Costume Masquerade.”
She recalls seeing the photos when she was younger in Orin’s copies of Tatler. Wisteria Jannath and her daughters in couture garments that would have been just as welcome at the met ball.
“And where is your costume then?”
“Ah yes,” he replies, and pulls out a cheap pair of plastic horns from his inside pocket that he places on his head with a flourish.
She hates that it makes her laugh. “Hardly up to the dress code, is it?”
“Dress code is for people coming through the front to be papped,” he explains, lighting his cigarette and taking a long, measured pull. “I’m there for the real party. Oh, I almost forgot…”
He pulls out a tiny witches hat from the jacket, a delicate little hair clip that he reaches across to place on her head.
She flinches. “I don’t do Halloween.”
He scowls, pulling his cigarette from his mouth and flicking ash across the table. “Why not? Lighten up a little.”
“It’s not… for me. I don’t want to.”
“Come on. Don’t be such a little-”
“You can’t smoke indoors, Mr Gortash.”
A heavy, masculine, and above all exhausted voice pulls her out of their little bubble. She feels embarrassed as she looks up at the poor waiter, who is surely only doing his job and is sick of late-night nonsense like-
“Quite so,” Enver replies with a smile, and takes another quick puff before pulling out his wallet. “Bring me an Old Fashioned, two Ring-a-ding-ding burgers, and a milkshake. Chocolate, dear? Strawberry?”
He doesn’t even look at her as he pulls out a wedge of cash and folds it for the waiter. It must be at least three hundred.
“I don’t want anything,” she tells him.
He smiles at the waiter and puts the money in his hand before leaning back.
“Chocolate, I think. With all the toppings. Bring it over with the whiskey bottle and then leave us be, there’s a good chap.”
The food arrives and it is fine, nothing remarkable, with generous portions of fries and beef-bacon instead of pork. She looks around the room as Enver talks about his day, something about international markets that is impossible to follow as he tops up his glass, and notices that the room is full of suited men with women. Some look younger, others perhaps hired. All of them tucked away, just like she is, in dimly-lit booths.
“Why did we come here?” she asks him as she dips one of her fries in the melting ice cream. “We could have stayed at mine.”
“Maybe I wanted to treat you.”
“But not enough to take me to the party.”
“Would you have wanted to go?”
She considers it, just for a moment. The crowded space, the photographs. The feeling of hanging on his arm. “…No.”
“That’s what I thought.”
“But why here?”
“It’s an old favourite. Now come on. You’ve barely touched your food.”
She looks down at the half-eaten burger and seemingly endless chips. She already knows how heavy her body will feel tomorrow on the reformer, how it will sit on her chest.
“I’m done.”
“Truly?” He moves closer to her, and runs his hand over her stomach openly as he leans into her neck. The feeling of shame lurches in her as she tries to pull away, but there is nowhere to go as she traps his hand in hers. “You don’t feel full at all,” he murmurs against her neck. “And there’s not much to hide behind, is there?”
“Enver-“
“Fine. If you’re sure.”
The hand on her stomach slips from her grasp, chasing up her skin as he leans in to kiss her. The kiss is hard, forceful, and she almost chokes on it as she pulls away.
“I want to go home,” she tells him, her hand reaching to try to find her coat as he laughs at her.
“Then go! Do you want to go back to the home that I pay for, the one I furnished and supply for you with only the ask of your company in return, or would you prefer to go back to your real home?”
He leans in and kisses her again, and she can feel her head swirl as if he has drugged her. She knows he has not, would not.
It wouldn’t be so fun for him if he had.
He pulls away, holding her by the back of her neck. “A girl your age should be out at a party, getting felt up in the corner by some quivering boy for a quick fumble in the dark,” he tells her. “Chasing little memories, gathering little discretions for the diary. But you’re not there. And you’re not at home. You’re here, with me, and you’re here because you like it. You like what I am.”
She breathes in the scent of him, takes in the feeling of his thumb moving down her collarbone and his other hand reaching down her thigh as everything dissolves but him. Smoke and ash, the silly plastic devil horns an unnecessary addition.
Perhaps it is better to stick with the devil you knew, after all.
