What a great find in the ski resort of Les Contamines-Montjoie - The restaurant O a la bouche - A wonderful modern sort of Savoyard style restaurant decor but with a modern and fusion menu.There are various set menu choices and it was very hard to choose but I went for the Menu Saveurs described as a culinary journey of small vegetarian tapas size dishes…Absolutely delicious combination of flavours and all beautifully presented.

What a great Italian lunch at Duchessa in Geneva - Amazing selection of wonderful Italian dishes - must try the Vitello Tonnato, Duchessa Pasta and seabass carpaccio...we loved everything

Taste of Savoie eats at Osha Bangkok.

This amazing dessert - a Charcoal glazed coconut mousse dome served with coconut jelly, crispy roasted coconut and a butterfly pea coconut sauce and pandang coconut sauce - Everything coconut all on one plate - my idea of heaven!

What a great day exploring the Thonburi canals and food with Bangkok Food Tours -This was a delicious Chinese pork noodle soup prepared by Mr Boy at his gorgeous little restaurant on the canal at Bang Ruang - Watching the long tail boats go by!

A wonderful fresh and tasty spicy papaya salad - one of my favourite Isan dishes originates from the north of Thailand - I enjoyed this one at Madam SomTum in Phloen Chit, Bangkok

Not only was this dessert beautifully presented by chef Eric Besson at Le Bilboquet in Annecy it was also absolutely delicious! A delightful taste journey of different honey flavours - The honeycomb was like a brandy snap and decorated with gold leaf - The French description: Le miel et les abeilles butinent et les figues de sollies.

Classic French cuisine at LOlivier in Annecy - Roasted salmon with a delicious sauce Choron and different very tasty puree vegetables all perfect quenelles - It has been a while since I ate in this traditional French restaurant lovely to see some classic favourites still in the menu like creme brulee of foie gras!

Taste of Savoie Eats - Sunday Lunch.

What a great Sunday Lunch at La Chanterelle on Mont Chery - this mountain restaurant is open every Sunday for a really good lunch during the inter-season - you can hike there enjoying the autumnal mountain scenery or drive up the Col D Encrenaz - any way you get there it’s worth a visit!

Another day another dessert! This one called Tout Choc was on LInstant Midi - the menu of the day at the Michelin one star restaurant LEsquisse in Annecy - What a very special discovery - I had the inspiration menu. A surprise menu designed by the chef Stephane Dattrino - What an enjoyable lunch experience this was.

In Cancale on the Brittany coast, I tasted the most delicious classic Bretagne dessert - the Kouign Amann - this was covered in a caramel buerre sale sauce and served with vanilla ice cream - served at Au Vieux Safran overlooking the harbour and the sea - a lovely summer memory
