How do you feel about bittersweet endings? Not just writing them but reading them too.

Do you have a favorite trope for them? A favorite dynamic for it?

I don't like writing them - I always need to have a happy ending or at least somewhat neutral

Reading, on the other hand, I quite enjoy. Not only because there are people out there that actually know how to write them properly, but also cause I guess they are more realistic and that speaks to me

I don't have a favorite trop or dynamic, I don't think. Not very picky regarding that. As long as it's well written and doesn't feel forced, I'm down
