Well it's been a while.

I'll admit I had some fun with this one - the pose was really cool to try to do (I *heavily* used a reference photo) and figuring out the colors and how to make sure they all jibed with each other was interesting and I seriously hope I made it work.

This is Cazan they're a mage who uses blood and archery to do their magic. This has been widely considered a controversial move. It's fine, the blood is ethically sourced, everything is fine. Based this off of the Knight of Wands tarot card. Knight of Wands from what I've gathered has the traits of an adventurous traveler, a free spirit who's always on the move. They may not always think things through but they'll screw up with confidence. Cazan's spent a lot of their time traveling, a true nomad wandering the mountains in the center of the continent in search of new ways to do their magic and maybe find some work in the process.

Cazan is a character in my web novel, The Shattering (there's a tumblr for it too). Give it a read if you like the art.

Divination deck adoption

Due to life reasons (lack of money, lack of time), I have decided to put my original divination decks up for adoption. I will try to make the entirety of the process clear and understandable. 

★ Owning the deck

Adopting the deck means you will have full ownership of their designs. Meaning you can copyright them, change the designs, sell them, print them — the world will be your oyster. 

After acquiring ownership I will take your deck out of all my stores, and they will be yours effectively, no longer being available for adoption. 

☆ Receiving the deck 

You’ll receive your deck through email, in zip file with all the cards, pdf file of printing sheet and a guidebook when the deck has it.

✦ Starting price is 5$ USD for a single deck, you might choose as many decks as you want to adopt. 

✦ Will work similarly as a bid system, any updates will be posted in a reblog of this og post.

We believe we sourced the slimes that you all were looking for. Apologies about the delay, some were rather elusive. We are sure you can all guess which ones were a bit camera shy or uncooperative.

Lana was interested in a purple pony slime with a mask. This slime can be rather timid at times, but is also exceptionally caring. Ivy was interested in a green plant slime. This one has an affinity for cabbage and loves to bask in the sun. It'll be a friend to anyone that loves plants. Lizzie and Eddie had requested a blue bear type slime and a smaller red one. These two are a bonded pair and get along quite well. Even if they aren't talkative, they thoroughly enjoy each other's company. Evan had requested a clockwork slime. We aren't actually sure what this slime uses the gears for, but it does have a fascination with machinery. Sparkle requested a golden glowing slime. This one is sure to brighten up any space, it literally emits a bit of golden light. And lastly Crystal requested a punk slime full of personality. We will admit this slime is rather chaotic, we haven't actually seen it sit still longer than 5 seconds.

We hope that you all care for these slimes and we are sure they will care for you all in turn. Thank you for giving them a good home.

1. Cineál - The World

The fae world, despite being a realm of its own, is renowned for its true harmony with nature, beauty and magic. The druids of the material plane are mere imitators of fae power and cannot begin to compare to the wonder and madness that find balance in the minds of the druids of the faewild. Cineal is one such being, born to a satyr father and dryad mother when the mortal world was young, destined to be an emissary of fae wisdom and chaos in realms beyond his own. He and his clan serve a trickster goddess of hearth and flame and her consort, the moon goddess, and they wander the world to bring both delight and disturbance to others. Round 2, Match 13: Askeladd vs. Rune Saint John

Askeladd:

1. "The funny thing about Askeladd is he keeps killing the dad's of characters and then adopts them.

At the very start of the show he kills the main character's father. The 6 y/o main character vows revenge and follows him around trying to kill him for like ten years. Askeladd does not take this seriously at all and is basically his mentor and new dad, even though Thorfinn despises him.

Then later they meet Canute (prince of Denmark). Askeladd kills his right-hand-man/father-figure to toughen Canute up, then becomes Canute's evil advisor/father figure in his quest to overthrow his biological father (king of denmark)

Askeladd ends up killing the king of Denmark as well which makes us three for three on the father-killing.

None of this ever bites Askeladd in the ass btw he's free to kill and adopt and is having a grand old time. He's so funny about it, too"

2. "Askeladd is the leader of a band of Vikings. He was hired to kill a man named Thors. Thors' son Thorfinn witnessed the murdur of his father at the age of six and swore to avenge his death by killing Askeladd. So he joined Askeladd's band. Askeladd, who despite being the cause of Thors' death respected the man, and agreed to duel with Thorfinn if he followed his orders during fights. Thorfinn was defeated each time and Askeladd (in a twisted and mocking way) always gave him advice how to be better. In the end Thorfinn didn't kill Askeladd because - as Askeladd alluded to by his own story of killing someone out of hate - he would've killed him sometime earlier during those 11 years if he really hated him. In the end Thorfinn realized too late that from a hated person Askeladd became kind of a father figure to him during those 11 years. (The mangaka called Askeladd 'an amazing tsundere dad')

Canute is the youngest son of the Danish king. When the Danes were fighting in England the king sent Canute to lead the siege of London so Canute could die there and there wouldn't be any fights for the throne in the future. Askeladd, being a sly mastermind who plays 5D chess at all times, decided to save Canute from the enemy forces so when he'd return him safely to the king he could get into a position so he could influence Canute to protect Wales. But before that he had to get rid of Canute's previous adoptive father, Ragnar. (Yes, it's a pattern.) So when Ragnar was dying, he told Askeladd that ""Btw, the king hates his son and wants him dead"", so Askeladd had to recalculate a lot of things, and in the end he and Canute worked together to kill the king and create a situation where Canute could come out as a strong heir.

In his last minutes, Askeladd decided to not chose between Wales and Canute, and saved both instead, and used his last breath to convince Thorfinn to let go of his anger.

Sometimes a family is a half-Danish mercenary who kills father figures, an gremlin child from Iceland with anger issues, and a timid Danish prince who goes through a strong character developmen by becoming rejecting his religion."

Took a long hiatus because I burned myself out trying to juggle work and the shop, but I'm back now. Prices in the Etsy store have increased as I realized I was doing too much and undervaluing the time it took to do those things. Card Reading Day & International Mother Language Day

Person A reads tarot and sometimes will do readings for friends and family. A friend of theirs recently adopted a child who is struggling with learning language, so the friend asks for a reading that the child tags along for. When the reading is over, Person A notices the child was doodling pictures of tarot-looking cards with unique designs after watching the reading, so Person A shows more of their cards and decks to the child to see their reaction. Since the child is clearly interested in the cards, Person A offers to babysit, and ends up bonding with the child.
