happy to announce i’ve finally lost it and spent a considerable amount of time making a dragon age inquisition mod that lets your inquisitor use they/them pronouns. if there’s anyone out there besides me who wants to use it, here it is on nexus.

update: as of 3.05 (may 3rd), the mod has been uploaded to nexus. see download link above for any future updates.

this is a mod for frosty mod manager 1.0.6.1. you MUST install the bioware localization plugin for it to work, otherwise the game won’t start. on fmm 1.0.6.2, the plugin is already built in, so you don’t need to worry;

this mod is a simple overhaul of the game’s base text; no changes were made to the actual voice lines. this mod also does not affect default romance flags (just like in vanilla game, you can only romance sera with a "female" inquisitor (or dorian with "male"), but the mod should, hypothetically, be compatible with other mods that edit romance flags);

you can install it at any point of the game. starting a new playthrough is not necessary;

works for all races and with all available dlcs;

along with the pronouns change, this mod changes all gendered words used to refer to the inquisitor to be gender neutral, i.e man / woman have been replaced with person or contextual variants. my lord / my lady and other similar titles have been replaced with messere (on the basis of this reddit thread);

some of the dialogue could've been mistakenly changed, since context was not always easy to parse. if you try this mod out, i’d greatly appreciate any help with pointing out my mistakes (blackwall’s romance in particular has given me the most trouble); additionally, i might have missed some lines in the codexes, since i skimmed through them very briefly.

i’ve no previous modding experience, so i went with the easiest option and, like i mentioned above, brute forced it and made a complete overhaul of the base game text as opposed to a pickable option i’d like it to be. ideally i’d love for this mod to be bundled together with this other one that switches pc pronouns (which was a partial inspiration for this mod). if anyone here has any knowledge on whether this is something that could be done, please hmu.

also, since in order to make this mod i had to read through the entire game text (it was torturous. not gonna lie) i collected some of my personal favorite bits and pieces along the way. if anyone’s curious, you can look at them here. there’s surprisingly many developers’ notes in there.

Here I am again. I sent the GTA vehicle conversions a few years back, but now I have returned with almost EVERY vehicle from Vovilla Corp’s Tapatalk! Some were missed due to being behind adfly, but this is almost everything. Contains several more VPN cars as well, so we are getting closer to finding them all!

Posted on a pretty unused Tapatalk gossip board by someone with a screen name of Ladia (with no other posts or interactions).

And that post is basically screen shots of other gossip sites (you know, where all the reliable news comes from).

There's also 'medical records' that come from an... essay writing site??? So basically, someone fed in the information they wanted to create, and someone wrote it up for them (AI? They claim not, but it's so poorly written and the spelling, grammatical and formatting errors are numerous that's hard to believe). This is a work of fiction.

A magical little place called “the dudecaps forum” on Tapatalk.

If you are a male bondage fan, you’ll want to join the forum. It’s essentially just a collection of threads about various male bondage scenes across all media. I get a lot of my information about new scenes from there.

I will say though that the crowd there is heavily biased toward live action scenes and gags, so those get the most traffic, often at the expense of other scenes. It’s not the most complete archive, but it’s very expansive and goes back over a decade at this point, so there’s tons to explore.

(There’s also a lot of complaining on the forum that drives me up a wall, but that’s just a me problem)

4to2 REIGNINGSIMS' Re-Vamped Hospital Deco Sims

Another set I started a few months ago and finally finished off. A conversion of REIGNINGSIMS' Re-vamped Hospital Deco Sims. above you see the six doctors.

There are eight nurses. The last two on the second pic are ones that sit at computers.

Just use move_objects on to snap together these two nurses with the two patients that sit on wheelchairs (included in my conversion of REIGNINGSIMS' first Hospital set.

There are eleven patients. The bed ridden patients are shown on TheRaven's ambulance beds from their Hospital items. You do have to be a member at tapatalk to enter the site and download their countless amazing creations. You do need to boolprop the patients into position on the beds.

The files are somewhat sorted into folders, compressed and have collection files.

I try (very very hard) to not get political here.

But, given the fact that roller derby relies very heavily this app to communicate, i felt like it was important to speak my mind:

Tomorrow, at some time, the app TikTok will be banned in the US. This bill, however, not only bans that app but potentially any non-US app that the powers that be deemed harmful. It is likely that the incoming president will save it to look like the hero. Regardless, this bill is a travesty.

For those who don't know, I am an airborne Army Veteran. I swore an oath to protect the constitution only for it to be trampled over for corporate and political greed.

We, as a people, do not have a lot of options to stop the coming censorship and political overreach that is going to happen in the next couple years.

However, we can effect the one the care about and the reason for these bans in the first place:

Money.

What You Can Do:

Delete Facebook off your phone[Yes,really].

Due to the way digital privacy laws work -and how behind our laws are about the subject- most of the data the companies that lobbied for this get is from mobile data scraping.

There is a lot of technical behind the scenes stuff that is complicated. But TDLR; the majority of their money comes from your data and they get that data via your phone.

Talk to your Derby teams about moving internal communication OFF M_ta Apps.

As a smaller, queer inclusive community, we do not have the luxury of kicking these apps completely. Our community lives and dies off social media engagement.

But! We can have our Teams communicate through things like band, tapatalk, etc.

Given the ways things are going, our community especially needs a way to communicate in ways that are not “standard” as we as Queer, Bipoc, and Neurodivergent inclusive people will be censored first.

Treat These Apps the Same Way Treat Us: A Business.

Due to Big Tech Monopolies these companies hold, it is impractical to expect us to -on mass level- these apps. However, we can stop giving them what they want: advertiser clicks and money.

Treat these apps like your team, art, or business launch page. Encourage your followers and friends to follow you in other places, and conduct your actual social internet life there.

Decentralize You Media Use, Connect with Your Local Community, and Buy Local.

Now more than ever, it is important to be present in the physical space. We will need each other more than ever. We will need to RELY on each other more than ever. Download things like next door or just go knock on your neighbors door with a gift and a smile.

Join your local knitting,gaming, whatever circle and get involved.It’s time to connect IRL. And I say that as a person who is borderline an Otaku.

Final Notes:

None of this is easy. It requires a radical shift in thinking and behavior. I know. But it's time.

To the rest of the Tumblr audience……I honestly only am checking in bc my bones told me to do so.  I skimmed and am so out of the loop.  I had to drop out around end of 2019 (right before pandemic) because the PR’s of EwMila and TyRen were so toxic and morbid.  None the less, I still hold to the words of C&L (both separately of course lol)who said they wanted to be living in Spain upon 30.  If I see reports of them after they both hit 30 and out of the “business” , I will take this as a cue to them riding off into the sunset  :-)
