Milo wakes up nearly a week after she is saved from her treacherous uncle.

He had kidnapped her while she was at school and he’d hurt her greatly.

Milo is immediately met with gentle hugs from all directions from Yuna, Giyuu, Tanjiro, Zeno, and Michio.

All 5 of them have clearly been crying.

“A-are you ok sweetheart..? Do you need anything..?” Yuna asks Milo with tears in her eyes.

Milo is stunned, she doesn’t know what to say..

She didn’t expect to be saved..

Of course she knew her family wouldn’t have just left her, but she didn’t think she’d survive.

Milo just.. starts crying.

Crying is all she can do in this moment.

She clings onto her dear family for dear life, like they’d leave if she didn’t.

Everyone, of course, stays hugging Milo.

She really needs them right now so they’re prepared to give her all the attention and reassurance she needs.

Anything to help her feel safe again..

“I-it’s ok angel… You’re safe now… He can’t hurt you ever again…” Tanjiro whispers in her ear, he doesn’t really know how to tell her that Haruki is dead now.

After Milo gets discharged from the hospital, she becomes clingier than ever.

None of her family or friends mind of course, whatever she needs to help her feel safe.

Tanjiro can’t help but feel like it’s his fault that Milo is struggling to be happy again.

If he had’ve gone with her to the office then none of this would’ve happened.

His angel would still be smiling..

Tanjiro holds Milo close and gently kisses her forehead.

“Is there anything I can do to help you be happy again my angel…?” He asks sadly.

Milo buries her face in Tanjiro’s chest and he pulls her closer.

“I love you Tanji…” Milo says softly, blushing and smiling shyly.

Tanjiro smiles brightly when he sees Milo’s smile and he pulls her in for a gentle kiss on her lips.

“I love you too angel.. It makes me so happy to see your smile again..”

Tanjiro thought taking care of Milo would be no big deal. And it was.

He was more than willing to take care of his angel as is, and even more so when she was sick. He felt special and honored that he got to be the one to take care of her, to comfort her when she really wasn’t feeling good.

But not at all was he expecting all the things she said.

The poor boy was constantly pink from how often she would sweetly utter words like “You’re so sweet to me” or “I love you so much”.

Things she would normally be way to shy to say.

Milo was constantly acting all cuddly and clingy, and Tanjiro didn’t mind it at all.

He loved all the cuddles and kisses she requested from him.

He wouldn’t care if he were to get sick too, he would give her anything she asked when she asked it so sweetly.

She unknowingly had him wrapped around her finger.

When she would ask for water, or some food, he would do it in a heartbeat to make her happy and hear her little “thank you, I love you”s.

Now, Tanjiro is not going to hope for Milo to fall sick more often, but he certainly wouldn’t mind if she did.

Milo squealed and hid her face as it lit up with red.

“I-I said that-?!”

Tanjiro chuckled as he rubbed the back of a very flustered Milo.

“Yes, but I didn’t mind at all!”

Milo leaned forward to rest her covered face on his shoulder.

“‘m sorry…”

“No don’t apologize! It was cute!”

“Tanji—!”

Tanjmilo Taisho era secrets

Tanjiro loves bringing Milo flowers every day

If one of them have been on a long mission, they’ll spend an entire day off just to be with each other

Tanjiro often refers to Milo as “angel”

The only way Milo can (properly) fall asleep is if she’s with Tanjiro

Milo is very clingy so when she and Tanjiro have missions together or if they’re just hanging out, she clings to him like a koala bear

Sometimes, when cuddling, they have tickle fights

Milo always gets very shy when she wants something, like if she wants to cuddle with Tanjiro she gets very shy

Tanjiro loves helping Milo do things, such as, getting things from high places

No matter if they seem separated, the other is always close by

They always hold each other’s hand no matter the situation

When Milo found out her aunt had become a demon, despite being mistreated by her, she was heartbroken, Tanjiro was the only one who truly understood how she felt

When Zenitsu and Inosuke are around, Milo usually hides behind Tanjiro since they make her wildly (no pun intended) nervous

If Milo is tired and they’re still going to the mission location, Tanjiro lets her get on his back and he puts Nezuko’s box on his front

If they have to set up camp for the night, they take turns keeping watch, Tanjiro always lets Milo sleep first despite her rejections

Milo never received much affection from her parents (her parents do love and care about her, they just aren’t very affectionate people) so Tanjiro always makes sure to provide her with lots of affection

Both Milo and Tanjiro often have nightmares (Milo’s are of when her friend and her family were killed by a demon and Tanjiro’s are when his family was killed) so they spend a lot of time comforting each other whenever they have nightmares

Whenever they have their (very rare) arguments, they don’t ever let them get drawn out, they always apologize immediately

Inosuke reminds Milo of her uncle, aggressive and violent, so she sometimes has small panic attacks if he’s around and Tanjiro always helps her through them

Milo walked up to the door of her best friend’s house and knocked.

Maki opened it soon after and smiled. “Milo!!!”

Milo and Maki hug then the latter drags Milo into her house.

“I was just about to take something for my braces!” Maki said.

Milo remembered the pain that she felt back when she had braces (idk, i don’t feel like going in depth in braces stuff so ima just say she doesn’t need braces anymore and just wears a retainer).

They run to Maki’s room, already having planned what they’d be doing the day before.

Maki turned on the tv in her room and put on some music for them to sing along with.

The 2 girls ran out of the room to go get some pizza.

They walked back to Maki’s room to go watch some anime while they ate their pizza.

“HANAKO!” Milo yelled, after Hanako launched Yashiro off the ledge to find the apparition’s yorishiro ( @sakurasunkiss knows the scene i’m talking about ;))

“Milo shush!! I’m trying to watch!” Maki said, annoyed at Milo.

“Sorry, sorry.” Milo muttered.

Milo and Maki start getting drowsy around 4:30 a.m.

Milo’s phone goes off so she picks it up to check it.

“What is it?” Maki asked, leaning to look at Milo’s phone screen.

“You’re so nosy. It’s Zenny.” Milo said, giggling at Maki’s reaction to being called nosy.

“I’m not that nosy!” Maki said, pouting.

“Anyways, what’s he doing up this early? It’s 4:30 a.m on a Saturday.” Milo said, typing a response to his text. (He was asking her how she was doing btw)

“Sooo, how are things going with you and Muichiro?” Milo asked, grinning and causing Maki to blush.

“Things are going really well so far.” Maki said with a shy smile, thinking about Muichiro.

Maki’s phone started rapidly buzzing, signaling she was being called.

She checked the caller id and it said Muichiro❤️.

“Should I put it on speaker?” Maki asked, preparing to answer and Milo nodded her head, yes.

Maki answered the call and put it on speaker.

Milo pulled up ‘Careless whisper’ on her phone then started playing it.

Muichiro sighed into the phone and Maki glared at Milo.

“Is Milo there with you?” Muichiro asked.

“Yep. Kinda wishing I asked to just text.” Maki said and Milo started laughing.

OK LETS NOT LIE ABOUT THIS. MILO IS LITERALLY THE CUTEST LITTLE CLINGY BBY EVER.

And honestly, Tanjiro thinks it’s adorable that’s she’s so clingy. The only thing about her clinginess that upsets him is the reason. Milo has separation anxiety. Any time Tanjiro isn’t in close proximity to Milo, she has major anxiety the whole time. She’s absolutely terrified that something will happen to him.

When Tanjiro comes back from missions, Milo always comes to him and hugs him tightly. She also usually starts crying a bit, worrying Tanjiro every time.

Milo is especially clingy when people who make her nervous are around.

If someone tries to push Milo around and bullies her, she is way too shy and scared to really do anything about it. When Tanjiro finds out about these bullies? Oh boy. Let’s just say they were given much more than a warning.
