A self-insertion fantasy about the sons of Nurgle from Warhammer, Putrid Blightkings, Tamurkhan, and Kayzk the Befouled. What if they liked you?
Machine translation and Japanese (native language) are included.
Putrid Blightkings are monsters who are completely corrupted in both body and mind, living to receive and spread the love of Nurgle. However, when they see you, they remember the simple desires they had when they had a decent body. It was to get a stable job, have a partner they love, and spend modest but happy days. For them, who have lost their way, lost hope, and given up and let everything go, you are their first love who will never age in nostalgia. They have no knowledge or skills like demons or doctors, so the only way they can give you the blessings of God is through simple and primitive exchange of bodily fluids and mucous membrane contact. They are happy to do this to make you more attractive.
Tamurkhan is a king who is loved by Nurgle, and his authority will hinder your free actions. When he is not on the battlefield, he always makes sure you are within his sight. While he growls that others should take care of the dogs, the Toad Dragon is breaking the fence in the barn out of loneliness. Tamurkhan does not apologize for what is right. He will treat you as a lady worthy of being next to the champion, and educate you. In return, as a brave warrior endowed with the power of Nurgle, he will not let you disappoint him. But for a moment, he will reveal his soft and delicate nature to you... It is the body of a huge, white, fat, hideous insect, just like the title of the Maggot King. When Tamurkhan warms it against his bare skin and asks it to sleep, he looks shy and pitiful, which is hard to imagine from his behavior towards his subordinates.
Kayzk the Befouled is a proud knight who is a poster boy for the cover of the Nurgle world's charity calendar. He gave up his body and offered his soul to Nurgle, showing the noble path to the lesser souls who found themselves in his father's arms on the way to hell. Kayzk is not arrogant, but he is always fighting on the front lines and has an overzealous side that argues with the unworthy. He finds comfort in watching you tend to the rot beasts in your tent. If he had no soul and could not feel, he could watch for hours. If he had vocal cords left, he would have said, "You too can offer your soul to the god as an ornament. I am already there. I want to be with you under my father! Shine by my side!" However, pus bubbles in Kayzk's throat, and all you can do is watch with a smile.

Fuck yeah found my Warhammer Forge books. Still upset Battle of Black Fire Pass never happened. In hindsight this should have been a warning sign that WFB was not Going Well.

I don’t understand the tamurkhan question jokes…
Tamurkhan is a chaos lord of Nurgle from Warhammer Fantasy. He's also in the trailer I posted yesterday. He is not actually the big ogre on the toad dragon. He is a large maggot-baby-worm-thing inside the big ogre, puppeting its corpse. The way he works is that, when his host body is destroyed or breaks down, he bursts out of the rotting carcass of his previous host and stuffs himself into the mouth, throat and torso of his new home :)
If you take a look at "Tamurkhan" in the trailer, you'll notice his lower jaw is all loose and wobbly, and there are morgue-style scar lines down his chest, as indicators of his forced habitation. The rows of sharp teeth and long tongue in the ogre's mouth are the only visible parts of Tamurkhan proper.
He's called Tamurkhan the Maggot Lord because he is in fact a maggot that is a chaos lord. He's a very lordly maggot.

For our next topic in Chaos Week...Nurgle (and a Pox upon Auto-correct for the typo).
The plaguefather, Nurgle is the Chaos god of disease, stagnation, The Lord of Decay, also the god of rebirth.
For Nurgle, all is a cycle of death and rebirth. Nurgle plagues mortal life with sickness, but to the Plaguefather's followers these diseases are signs of love. For Nurgle, to grant a plague as a gift grants endurance against pain and protection from the ravages of disease, while also spreading greater infection.
Nurgle has similar kinds of followers to the other Ruinous Powers; Cults, Demons, Norscans, etc. But with the addition of some Skaven who hide this betrayal of their Horned Rat God from their fellows.
Nurgle as the epitome of stagnation sits in oposition to Tzeentch directly as the harbinger of Change.
Some prominent Nurgle followers include Ku'Gath plaguefather (a demon called a Great Unclean One), Epidemus the Maggot King (a plaguebearer demon), and Tamurkhan a mortal champion of Nurgle who nearly ascended to Daemon prince status.
Nurgle corrupts and yet cares for (in as much as a Ruinous Power can) his children and followers. The downtrodden, beggars, Skaven, Bile Trolls, Plagued Ogres, and all sorts come into his embrace and are allowed to endure and even thrive in the pestilence and rot they are subjected to.
As always, correct me if I'm wrong, add to things if there's more to be said, or just spread the post around like the plagues of Nurgle :)
Next we speak on what I like, what could be changed, headcanons, and such.

The fact that Rick tried to tell them the hats were already big....and they wanted them bigger, so the sculptor to make a point, made them look like crap, just...you don't get to see this kind of shit anymore. I died laughing.
However.. Tamurkhan was meant to be a remake of Chaos dwarfs and a soft reset of the WHF world and continue to reshape it.....and they got cold feet and went with AoS?? FUCKING BASTARDS. As if I needed any more reason to despise Aids of Smegma even more.

Discover Thrones of Decay: New Lords, Units, and Features for Total War: WARHAMMER III
Tumblr media
Thrones of Decay is the latest game DLC pack for Total War: WARHAMMER III on Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Thanks to CREATIVE ASSEMBLY and Feral Interactive for their incredible work. Due to make its way onto Steam. Big news for Total War: WARHAMMER III fans. SEGA Europe Limited and The Creative Assembly Limited just announced the latest DLC pack, Thrones of Decay, due to release on April 30th. It also adds a ton of fresh content for the Empire, Nurgle, and Dwarfs. Think legendary lords, battle units, campaign features – it's a fully packed game update. And Feral Interactive also continues to keep up with Linux ports.
Elspeth
Let's start with Elspeth Von Draken from the Empire in Thrones of Decay. She’s a powerhouse Amethyst Wizard, teetering on the brink of life and death. What's special is that she brings some unique campaign features. For instance, the Imperial Gunnery School in Wissenland & Nuln lets you upgrade units and get powerful abilities in exchange for Schematics you earn in battle. Then there's the Gardens of Morr, these are fast-travel points across Empire settlements, but they also come with a cost and cool down. In battle, Elspeth is a force to be reckoned with. She rides a Carmine Dragon and uses her magical skills to control the battlefield before diving into the fray. The Empire also gets a boost with new units like the Marienburg Landship, Steam Tank Volley Gun, and more. Theodore Bruckner, as a Legendary Hero, is particularly impressive.

Tamurkhan
Now, onto Nurgle’s champion, Tamurkhan, the Maggot Lord. A sentient maggot in a rotting Ogre Tyrant's corpse – that’s Tamurkhan. His goal? Spread death and disease everywhere. His campaign features include Tamurkhan’s Chieftains, where he gathers a warhost while dominating and recruiting warlords. In battle, he's also a juggernaut, riding a Toad Dragon and wielding a two-headed axe. His ability, Feast of the Maggot Lord, deals damage to enemies even as he’s down, keeping him in action longer. In Thrones of Decay, Nurgle's forces get support with new units like Plague Ogres, Rot Knights, and Toad Dragons.
Malakai
For the Dwarfs, we have Malakai Makaisson, the Slayer Engineer. He's a mix of smarts and strength, looking for redemption through a valiant death. He brings things like the Spirit of Grungi, an upgradable airborne machine that also increases his combat skills. Malakai's Adventures let him test and improve his engineering inventions in dangerous battles. His battle style? A perfect mix of range and close combat, due to use everything from explosives to shotguns and even a huge spanner. Dwarf ranks are enhanced with new units like the Daemonslayer, Dragonslayer, and Doomseekers. And let’s not forget the Slayer Pirates – they sound like a blast! Thrones of Decay also comes with Patch 5.0, adding free content, quality of life upgrades, and bug fixes. So expect a new Legendary Lord, a Hero unit, the Nemesis Crown campaign feature, and campaign reworks for the Empire, Dwarfs, and Nurgle. This DLC can be purchased as a pack or individually, which is great for flexibility. Total War: WARHAMMER III is shaping up to be a solid update and I look forward to diving into new features and units. Stay tuned for more updates, and let's get ready to experience this epic expansion. Be sure to Wishlist each including Elspeth on Steam, Malakai on Steam, and Tamurkhan on Steam. Coming to Linux, Mac, and Windows PC on April 30th.

From the story of Nurgle Fucker to the definition of love
The Great Unclean One and a human witch had a child that was half demon and half human. The preface to Nurgle Fucker Passport begins with this unforgettable legend told in the End Times. Every Wiki says, "For the sake of your sanity, don't think too deeply about it," but do you think mortals can stop thinking about how to somehow leave proof of their existence and connect? This rare case is a gift of possibility that Nurgle gave to a girl who dreams of fucking a supernatural being.
The unclean semen of the god kept the future mother healthy, regardless of her impure constitution, and designed a strong child that would at least repel weak diseases. Even if the witches were constantly using magic and medicine to nurture living things, this is an unthinkable result for the Nurgle family, who have the image that everything is made of pathogens.
The Father is happy to display the proud tapestry of decay and filth that is the result of his followers turning the cycle of life and death like a pedal sewing machine. In other words, he gives them bodies that do not die easily, worn-out sensitivity, and a warm euphoria, and lets them wander his garden and the world, standing on the cusp of all end times, treading blindfolded. That is the end of entropy.
Rather than destroying people, Chaos mutates them, giving birth to mutants who live in suffering or have no previous sentience. The most simple origin of Nurgle's hobby must be from here. The sperm of the Great Unclean One, which is modeled after him, functions normally so that such pleasure lasts longer.
Rather than giving the Maggot King Tamurkan strong limbs, he cursed him to be able to assert himself only in a rotting corpse. Just like how Kayzk, who offered his soul and body before accepting the disease, was given a deformed rotten flesh without any blessing, with no maggots or pus coming out of the scars (see the Total War model). Kayzk "the Befouled" can be interpreted as either a celebrity-like meaning or a truly hopeless meaning, so when I think about it, my thoughts rot before my brain does.
As expected, the lively half-breed Orghotts Daemonspew was not recognized by his grandfather, and for a long time he wandered around the garden, hating even the plague-bearers who worked in the garden, and cultivating mortals in order to be recognized as a demon. In the end, it seems that Nurgle is experimenting with how much the mind can endure a robust body, or a body that no longer has anything to fear. Just as we give a small amount of food to prolong hunger, is love made in the same way, or is it love that moves the rotten flesh after the body is offered?
I haven't been able to read the novel yet because I can't buy e-books in my country. It would be dishonest to talk about it from what I've heard, so I'll have to carefully read the two codexes I have for the Death Guard, but for now I'm going to enjoy my favorite Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos. There's a book version of Pile of Shame in it.
I really love those servants of the god Nurgle. I was going to talk about nsfw /reader stuff, but I ended up talking about my serious thoughts on Nurgle. I'd like to talk about that later, or rather, I'd like to delve deeper into the emo of Tamurkhan and Kayzk. Before I get bored.

𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐑𝐘: 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐀𝐃𝐒
Toad Dragons, also called Mire Monsters, Mirelurks and Dragons of Nurgle, are creatures that live on Malleus, residing in the uttermost North in the Cold Mires of the Chaos Wastes. Though their greenish hides and disgusting behavior might suggest so, these are not daemons of Nurgle; they are mortal animals of the world, though whether they are natural or not is another story.
Their origins are a mystery and the individuals of the world interested in such things raise their brows at the moniker of "dragon", given to them by the far less studious Northmen. Instead of those proud, skyborne beasts, the Toad Dragon has more in common with the landbound lumbering beasts of Lustria, in particular the Dread Saurian. Some theorize that in the earliest days of the world, when Chaos first invaded Lustria and the joint forces of Nurgle and Tzeentch fell upon Chaqua, these beasts were the product of the Plaguelord's foul contagions and the Waychanger's warping magic working in terrible tandem upon the war-beasts of Lizardmen. When the city at last fell, Plaguebearers hoarded the blighted beasts into the portals whence the daemons first came and it was from these monsters that the first Toad Dragons were created.
Others say such foul beasts are not from Malleus at all. The Plaguelord collects not just the flora of other worlds for his garden, but on occasion their fauna too. The Toad Dragon is one such collected animal, though it has adapted so much to it's daemonic abode as to be indistinguishable from the proper daemons. Though massive and dangerous to mortals and even greater daemons, compared to the scale of Nurgle's garden, the Toad Dragon is only a mere toad and serves much the same function, eating the many flies and smaller lifeforms within the flora. They offer balance and order to the chaos of Nurgle's realm, as mortal toads do in the mortal world.
In both theories, the evidence given for their lack of proper origin from Nurgle is their temperament. Unlike the Plaguefather's daemons, Toad Dragons are notably foul tempered and destructive.
Deposited as tadpoles in the muck of a swamp, these beasts never stop growing once they hatch. Other lifeforms live within them, apparently unaffected by it's caustic breath and stomach acids. It is believed, much like gut bacteria, that these Toad Worms have a symbiotic relationship with it's host and may even be the reason behind it's caustic spit in the first place. Should a Toad Dragon die, Toad Worms will exit the body through the mouth, nose, and even the eyes. It is believed that these worms go on to be Plague Toads, a much maligned daemon of Nurgle; Plaguetoads are known to exist in a sort-of harmony with the Toad Dragon, so long as it defers to the beasts dominance of course.
Toad Dragons have tusks bearing, petal-like maws. Males, the more common of the species, are larger and use these tusks to battle for dominance and for the attention of the female. Females are rarer and larger; her territory will overlap with several males and she will mate with the one who wins out over his competitors. There is no certain way to tell Toad Dragon sexes apart; one can only be certain once the Dragon as laid it's egg-cluster, in which it will be revealed as female. Bubebolos, the Nurgle-marked Toad Dragon of Tamurkhan the Maggot Lord, was commonly recorded as male, but those who know well the anatomical trends between the sexes posit that the Greatest of All Toad Dragons was very likely a female.
Toad Dragons are not known to die of age and are suspected, even, to be immortal. Bubebolos was not only large, but ancient-- this may suggest that the creatures are Biologically immortal. The Gods do not often pay much attention to simple beasts when sapient races are so much more interesting and practical to work with. However, Nurgle is known for his enduring love of these Putrid Mire Monsters and his champions consider being able to bind one to ones own will to be sure sign of the Plaguelord's feculent favor.
Along with being implicated in the creation of the Plague Toads, some suggest that the Jabberslythe was an attempt by Nurgle's minions to put more 'dragon' into the Plague Dragon by breeding wings onto the beast. Undeniably, the Jabber and the Toad Dragon share several traits to suggest this is true.

Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos is popular, spawned some of Nurgle’s most iconic characters and units, and turned out to be incredibly influential on the Total War: WarHammer trilogy. And there are sequels focusing on Khorne, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh which never saw the light of day. It’s crazy.
I try not to think too hard about the Khorne + Slaanesh stuff we were denied. I get sad

So: chaos week continues (you thought a week dedicated to Chaos would obey linear time? Cute.) With what I like, would change, headcanons, and just personal thoughts regarding Greatfather Nurgle, and nurglish champions.
So right off the bat, they're all kinda gross and mostly in a way I don't really care for aesthetically. Which is, I guess; the point.
However the vibe of Nurgle is A+ as far as life, death, and rebirth go. (Did you know that upon death a human body's gut microbiome switches gears to tear the body down and break it apart back to the earth? Poetic post I saw on it the other day)
The Plaguefather being into a garden and actually kind of caring about people is nice. Horrifying how the garden grows, but nice. Re-enforcing that the Ruinous Powers are Chaos incarnate and not specifically malicious just beholden to their nature.
Ku'Gath and Tamurkhan are both really neat characters and from what I've seen/read theres some compelling stuff regarding them in the Warhammer writings.
There also being non-human following is such a big deal to me, as someone who finds the immunities and resistances of Dwarves and Elves to Chaos a little frustrating from an out of universe perspective (I recognize the reasons for this, I just personally don't like Humans in settings where there are other options.)
The fact that this means not all Skaven necessarily follow the Horned Rat is something to touch on more with my Skaven post in the future.
As far as headcanons go, I like the vibe from Warcraft 3 where the scourge are spreading their plague as a good example of Nurgle working quietly and methodically to spread disease. I feel like the mechanic to send a plague cultist to spread a plague with their death in Total Warhammer 3 is such a good vibe.
As always, feel free to share your thoughts, or correct my wrongness.
