presentation seminars must be one of the worst things ever. do i even dare to admit that i often just mute my computer and do everything else except listen?

russian has been on my agenda today, too, and i've also glanced over the materials for my upcoming exams. not glanced in the way "going to recall the topics" but in the sense of "shit, i should have opened the books, i'm screwed".

the travel-maaria era is over! i’m back home now, taking my home university courses after 1.5 years! after leaving taiwan (</3) i went to solo travel japan for two weeks (so here’s some pics), which was nice but it’s even nicer to be back home now, continuing my regular life!

this semester i’m taking

- programming 2 (java) (8-12 ECTS)

- enterprise architecture in practice (5 ECTS)

- swedish? i think (6 ECTS)

- introduction to management and leadership (5 ECTS)

i stopped posting over a year ago when i left to taiwan for my uni exchange and i’m still here studying mandarin hahhah (also leaving in one month 🥲)

right now studying hard for my final exam that takes place in two days, on wednesday!! :)

the sun is shining after like weeks!!!!! + i just completed my introduction to entrepreneurship exam and it went pretty okay! i would have gotten 34 out of 34 if i had done the extra assignment but i didn’t really feel like writing ten pages about a subject that doesn’t interest me at all. still kinda wondering if i should take part on the 2nd resit and do the assignment so i would get a grade 5 (from 1 to 5)...

it’s 16:37 and i’ve been super unproductive this week so i’m gonna have a lot to do this weekend (again) :( i study seven days a week but it’s like only a bit on weekdays and then all day on saturday and sunday... i really have to get rid of this habit, i need my rest!!

hi! i’m maaria, 19, and i’m from finland! i started university this autumn and i’m not sure if i like my major yet lmao but i’ll be updating. i think my major translates as information systems (tjt) in english, not sure tho. it includes it, cs and business studies! i’m mainly doing business courses until christmas and switching to technology stuff after the new years :) really looking forward to programming! ++ i used to study mandarin chinese in middle and high school and will be continuing that next spring so i’ll be posting about that too <3

🌟 11.1.2021 🌟

hii it was the last day of the break yesterday so i’m getting back to work today! during the holidays, i studied a bit of chinese, rested, listened to mitski a lot, managed to move apartments and got a new tattoo so one would say well spent five out of five

in this term i ”only” have programming 1 (!!!!!!!!) and academic writing but i’m also going to try keep working on my chinese studies. i have one resit exam this week (introduction to entrepreneurship) and possibly others later if i decide to take them to get better grades.
