Most worlds tend to connect through similar builds. Through stories, people, themes...

It's no surprise seeing a stranger to the multiverse. What IS surprising, however, was his condition. Covered in deep wounds, limbs twisted and torn, and he appeared to be drowning in his own blood by the time he was found. Holy weapons were embedded in his skin, and the flesh sizzled liked bacon around it.

He had red skin, gray hooves, horns that looked far too round and circular to have normally grown out of his head. His long pointed tail is covered in hand prints, and there are bones exposed out of his back. He lays face first in a pool of his own boiling blood, barely breathing or moving.

How to describe the Party Peopleee karaoke excursion?

Loud, for one. You had no idea that Korean karaoke bars had separate rooms and that people basically had small parties in them and sang loudly to very loud music. Had you known you might have brought some earplugs.

It was very bright, for another. There was a mini disco ball on the ceiling and a light fixture that went off in time with the music and LED track lighting everywhere.

It was also - obviously - very Korean. You didn’t know any of the songs except for a couple kpop ones that had been recommended to you by YouTube that you recognized the thumbnail but didn’t know the words to. There were a few English songs; you did up singing an Adele song though it wasn’t Hello. If you were bad at it, no one said anything.

There were also percussion instruments like tambourines and maracas, so the people who weren’t singing could have something to do. 

It was very strange. Cool, but strange.

It was also sensory overload so you told the group you were going to the bathroom, reassured them you knew where it was, and left for a bit of quiet. You did go to the bathroom, but afterwards wandered the hallway for a few minutes, peeking into the other rooms to look at other people singing and having fun with their friends and enjoying the relative quiet of the hall.

A few moments later a somewhat worried looking Jaehyun walked up to you. “There you are. We thought you got lost on your way back.”

“Oh, no. I was just walking around looking at everything.”

He nodded. “Everyone’s decided they wanted food so we’re going to do that.”

“Were you waiting for me? I’m sorry.”

Jaehyun shook his head and smiled. “We were more worried you had gotten lost.”

You laughed awkwardly. “I’m sorry.”

You and Jaehyun walked back to the room where everyone was waiting. 

“Sorry, I went wandering.” You apologized to the group.

“You never miss the opportunity to People Watch,” Anna said before handing you your coat and waiting until you put it on so she could put her arm around you.

Johnny and Jaehyun led the way to the restaurant with Taeyong right behind them, mostly looking at his phone. You and Anna followed behind them and Jungwoo and Eunji brought up the rear, holding hands and talking quietly to each other.

“So…” you said after wondering what you were about to ask for the entire time you were all at the karaoke place. “No Yuta, huh?”

Anna ‘tsked’. “He messaged me yesterday and told me he couldn’t come.”

“Why didn’t he put it in the group chat?”

“I don’t know. Don’t care either, because I broke up with him.”

“Wow!” You lowered your voice. “Really?”

She nodded as she looked out into the night. 

“Because he had no time for you?”

“Why else? He was a great boyfriend except for that.” She pulled you closer so your faces were pressed up against each other. “It felt like I was dating you.” 

“Hey,” you said and pushed her away. “I might be dating-adverse right now, but when I’m with someone I give them all the attention they need.”

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah. I’m a fantastic girlfriend.” You laughed.

“Wanna date me?”

“I’m already your roommate,” you laughed. “Don’t get greedy.”

Anna laughed and squeezed you tightly around the waist, picking you up for a second as you laughed. Taeyong looked over at you.

“What’s happening?”

“Y/n won’t date me and I’m sad.” She leaned her head on your shoulder sadly.

You shook your head at Taeyong.

Taeyong laughed. “I thought you were dating Yuta anyway.”

“Not as of last night.”

“Is that why he’s not here?” Johnny asked as he turned around.

“No, his not being here is why I broke up with him. He literally has no free time.”

Johnny nodded and kept walking.

“Goddamned soccer club,” you said and Anna laughed.

Jaehyun looked at you, then Anna, then at Johnny before continuing whatever it was he had been saying to him before he turned around.

“I’m sorry,” Taeyong said.

“Don’t be. We’re not on bad terms or anything. Sometimes people just break up.”

Taeyong nodded and turned back around.

Once you got to the restaurant you somehow ended up between Anna and Jaehyun. Johnny, for reasons you couldn’t understand, was on the opposite end of the table from Anna. You were pretty sure he liked her but you couldn’t figure out why he didn’t at least sit next to her since she was now single again. He was sitting at the head of the table like everyone’s father instead of next to the girl that - you thought - he clearly liked.

You all ordered. The drinks arrived and then the food and then more drinks, and by the time your third one was busy polluting your bloodstream, you had happened upon an idea.

“Johnny,” you said, slamming your hand against the table. “Ow… why are you sitting at the head of the table like a papa? Are we your children? I don’t understand this.”

Jaehyun, between Johnny and yourself, looked from one of you to the other and laughed.

“Huh? A papa?” Johnny leaned in.

“You know! Not ‘Oh, daddy!’ but like someone’s dad. I feel like you’re about to talk about stocks or make a dad joke or something, or maybe tell me that you don’t need glasses but then use a magnifying glass to read the newspaper.”

Johnny and Jaehyun laughed. Jaehyun hid his face and Johnny looked like he might die. You chuckled. 

“So? Why are you the king and we’re the peasants?”

“Do you feel like a peasant, y/n?”

“I feel the need for revolution.”

Anna turned to you. “What revolution and for why?”

“Johnny is in the king’s chair!” You insisted, knowing you sounded stupid, but it was all part of your grand master plan that you didn’t actually have. “What if I want to sit there?”

Anna laughed. “So why didn’t you?”

“He got to it first!”

“You should have tried harder, y/n. This is the divine right of kings.”

You imitated surprise. “Anna, ready the guillotine.” You turned back to Johnny, “Listen, just because you’re tall--”

“If you do something, you’ll get the seat.”

“Yeah?”

“Yes. Right now you’re the court jester, because you’re a clown,” he leaned back in the chair and put his hands behind his head. “Entertain me and I will let you have this seat.”

“Does that make me a knight or something?” Jaehyun asked.

Johnny laughed. 

You thought for a moment. “Oh! Okay. Have you ever seen Animaniacs?”

“Yes.”

“I can sing the Nations of the World Song all in one shot. In Yakko’s voice.”

“Oh?” Johnny leaned in.

“Mhm. I learned it when I was a kid and it has not left my brain since.” You nodded sloppily. “It’s been lying in wait, all these years, for this very moment.”

“Well, jester, entertain me.”

You inhaled. “U--”

“Stand and sing it.”

You nodded. You were doing this for a good cause. You stood and started singing. 

If Jungwoo, Eunji, and Taeyong weren’t already paying attention, they were by the end of the first part. The pace picked up after every section and you surprised even yourself because you were somehow remembering all of it, even though you hadn’t even thought about the song since you first learned it as a child.

“Monaco, Liechtenstein, Malta, and Palestine, Fiji, Australia, Sudan!” You sang and then sat down triumphantly, pointing at Johnny. “The seat is mine!”

The group applauded with mixed looks of awe and ‘I can’t believe she just did that’. 

“Can you do it again?” Taeyong asked. “I could only record part of it.”

“Only if I get the seat,” you laughed, looking at Johnny.

“I am impressed. The former king is impressed, I now abdicate my throne.” 

He stood up and gestured to you to sit. You stood up and as you neared he took his napkin and dusted the seat off with it and bowed, a knee on the floor. 

“My liege.”

Jaehyun took Johnny’s drink and moved it to your old seat and put your drink near you, and Johnny took his place between Jaehyun and Anna.

“As my first act as regent of this realm,” you said with your best Queen Victoria accent, “I shall perform the musical number that granted my place as your queen.”

Taeyong got ready with his phone.

“But I’m not standing for this one,” you laughed and then launched into the song a second time. 

When you finished you smiled, your hands under your face like a five-year-old who just finished their first recital.

Taeyong laughed, a diligent stage mom. “Got it.”

“Alright, Ms. United States Canada Mexico Panama,” Johnny said before turning to Anna and talking to her.

You smiled.

32. Something you wish people understood about your identity?

oh gosh. there’s a lot! and there’s a lot i don’t even understand myself!! :0 But .. a big one for me is that.. yes i am transmasc yes i am a femme,, as in EXPLICITLY femme lesbian!! No other sense of the word. a noun, not an adjective. a way to refer to Me entirely!! (i fucking adore when i see this and would LOVE to have it for myself someday - to be called someone’s femme, as in “my femme”, in place of any other word………it Just. feels so holy and lovely and Right. Soo outrageously lesbian)

i love being called a boy + am one sometimes (genderfluid). i love using he/him pronouns and they’re often the most comfortable out of all my sets no matter how im feeling. i love my body hair sooo much so bad + i do want to go on T someday for that reason (+ many others 💘) + all of this wouldn’t really make you think Femme, and that upsets me sometimes, but this is literally .. what makes me feel good + pretty + confident in myself + HAPPY !!! When i first figured out i was a femme lesbian it felt so so right + homely to me (still does) + if it helps my case i swoon over butches @ any given occasion ww 💗💗 i love.. fitting into this rich and vibrant community i love using these terms for myself i love being a femme full stop . i am also autistic and nonbinary which i feel factors into my understanding of gender a good deal!!

i want to take femininity and make it my own . i want to dress up in my own beautiful restoration of it (i LOVE dressing feminine i love reimagining femininity i love being fashionable and Looked At and putting shit together in all these creative ways to make something new!!!!!!!!!!! i love being seen by LESBIANS!!) + maybe even get a handsome girl’s attention in the process :> I love my transmasc identity i love my femme lesbian identity i looove existing as a complicated queer person thank u and goodnight
