I know I'm not usually one to promote random videos, but I wanted to share this video essay/look back on the original era of Ninjago (pilots-s2) from one of my favorite YouTubers, Negative Legend.

If you have the time to sit down and watch the whole thing (only 44 minutes long) I'd HIGHLY encourage you to do so!

It's genuinely a funny video, and they poke fun at some silly things and have a lot of interesting things to say about the show and characters (and also I'm biased because they said good things about Wu Ninjago)

#one of the best things they brought up was the idea of the father vs son thing and how it was kinda like #taken away from the story for the Overlord to possess Garm instead #and I DO kinda agree #I wouldve loved to see the idea of Lloyd having to actually fight his father more #ninjago #I will say they do say a FEW negative things ab characters like Garmadon and have a few negative thoughts on the first season so if that's #thing u dont like then id tell you to not watch ig idk #but hey what can u expect? they are NEGATIVE Legend LMAO #Youtube
